Kpop aswell. And Jrock. and Krock.
It's really hard to say -
each has different songs. But jpop is still on the top of the list.

Although I'm generally not sure whether to label the music I listen to as "J-pop" or not, the songs I listen to are definitely mainly Japanese. Some of my favorite songs are:

Spoiler for songs:

K-pop most definitely!
There was a time, like 3 years ago, I listened more to J-pop.
Now it's 90% K-pop. However I still like Abe Mao and Meisa Kuroki.

And I'm kind of sad that there don't seem to be many J-pop fans No one listens to Kobukuro, Flumpool, Mr. Children, Ikimono Gakari, YUI, Fukuyama Masaharu or any other (very excellent) mainstream Japanese artists? Non-anime related I mean. It's so surprising!

... or is everyone just really into idol groups nowadays?

Hahaha!!! Hearing all the boysbands's names reminds me of my little cousins (who are hard fans of DBSK btw ). Well I myself listen to Japanese (most of the songs are from anime OP/ED) and Korean bands song (SS501, Shinee, DBSK, Howl, MC Monk, loveholic, Big Bang, Bi Rain, Wonder Girls, Epik High, etc...) though I would say I prefer Japanese sound for Rock and Korean sound for Pop

I have a personal preference for Alternative Rock though (L'Arc~en~Ciel and Abingdon Boys School are my muse! ^^b)

Quoted for Truth! I was lucky enough to go to their concert in Paris! Really, I think it was one of the best concert I ever saw! It was just UN-FOR-GET-TABLE!!!
At first, they were a bit shy with the audience (since it was the first time they came to France, or should I say in Europe!), but, then, when they noticed the fans were heating up, they just harmonized with us and we were more than delighted to exchange with them throughout the gig!
Here are some vids to show you the atmosphere, enjoy!

Ahh~!! I can't wait for them to come back! <3

Kpop for the win!! Jpop is awesome too, couldnt have a good anime without a wonderful jpop opening or ending. Tpop, and Cpop are rocking too!! ^^ but in the end Kpop always takes the first place for me >///<
