I like Jpop and Jrock bands!, especially their style.. I love Ai Otsuka, LM.C, (Lovely Mocochang) Miyavi, UVERworld, Joe Inoue, FLOW, GACKT, Aqua Timez, Yui, SCANDAL, Arashi, Nana Mizuki, and Woah! almost all of them.. just because i really really love Anime! So, that's why I'm here
I've always listening to anime songs, they bring happiness and it's like they bring the anime that I enjoy to watch..

I prefer J-pop to K-pop simply because I'm more familiar with Japan and that music than ANY thing in Korea. Even the symbols makes my head spin. Whereas these れたし に れ かんたん.

It's a mixture for me. While Japan has more of a variety I feel kpop is a little more creative. I love both either way.

Even though I am Korean I have always thought Japanese music had alot more variety, less theft, and more creativity :/ Korea is getting annoying with all it's copyright issues, American "concepts" that they claim as their own, and the whole girl group thing o.0

I have a good history about this.

At first we were a few friends who listened J-Music (from Megumi to Malice Mizer, from Jam Project to M-Flo and from Morning Musume to Nujabes), then a lot more were listening and talking about them. So we starting to look to another side, and there it was Korea and China

Oh God, i remember the first time i heard Gee...

BTW, i don't make any difference between Jpop and Kpop. It's all about what i want to listen.

Kudos to the musicians that create music that pleases the world!

If I want to listen to something cutesy and cheesy like a boyband or girl group. Korea beats japan easy.

If I want to listen to something other than girl bands or boy bands, I'm more likely to find it in japan.

I see the japanese market being more reflective of the american music market, you have a variety of genre's styles that are well represented and active. That isn't surprising as they are the 2nd largest music industry.

Korea is a small market and their artists target to be succesful in other parts of asia. They have mastered the art of manufacturing pop stars.
