CGI animation is horribly dated. Mouths not matching the lines being said very well. Not impressed. They need to get with the times.

you watched commercials... and its a low budget movie... get off their ****s about it. Christ people are so freakin picky..

and since you're not lookin foward to get, dont bother postin here.

btw, the CG doesnt look outdated, it looks original. just because it doesnt look like all the others doesnt mean its out dated..

Looks to be the same animation as The Incredibles, which came out in 2004. It worked because it was novel, then, and was riding on the success of Toy Story. There are much CGI movies now, so outside of Toy Story, the style really seems old and not as good now. It's like watching 1980's anime today, where there are much clearer and crisper anime available.

Anyway, don't let me stop you from watching and enjoying it, just posting an opinion that I wasn't looking forward to it. Although I did have to google it and watch the trailers to see what it was about, heh. =)

I really think you're misjudging it. Its style looks nothing like the Incredables or Toy Story, people in The Incredables look like rubber while in toy story they look like wood, even the humans. Hell toy story used the same style every movie, and im glad they did... it wouldn't feel right if they changed it except polish it.

the lipsynching is just altered in the commercials, it happens all the time to avoid spoilers and stuff.

Watch the movie (its free) then judge the lipsynch

No, the animation is fairly old...though it reminds me of the TMNT film from 2007 rather than The Incredible. Just look at the awful toupee hair designs (no strands of hair in there). Or the awful clothing that looks painted on. This is cheap animation.

That doesn't mean it will be bad, but the animation is clearly inferior and not simply a "style" choice.

This is the kind of judging i respect. if its a low budget movie (Specialy Free) their not gonna go overboard with animation. or else we'd be watching it in theaters

this might even lead on to a cartoon series. like the clone wars movie.

EDIT: AH yea! that new TNMT movie's style is simular. same with the clone wars.

That's what they are hoping for. The Clone Wars TV series has been a huge success, and with time it has even become a critically appreciated series (hell, I even like it...some ), so Cartoon Network has been looking for new series to add to a line-up of new shows (their top draw will be the new Teen Titans show coming out in January) coming out in the next year. (FYI, Firebreather is an established, if somewhat weak, comic book series.)

I liked the Clone Wars TV Series as well, just had to admit it

I don't know about watching Firebreather, seemed a little... Odd setup for me, but thats just my opinions.

If you want to watch the offspring of a human and a dragon, I suggest watching the anime Dragon Half. It's hilarious! Only two episodes, though. =(

For Dragon Half, it's mainly comedy, so it's not quite important. There, the male is human and he married a female dragon, but the dragon is capable of assuming human form, so I would assume that's how it was done (he married the dragon he was sent out to slay, lol).

Edit: and the offspring is Mink, a half dragon. She's super strong and has dragon wings and a tail, and can spew fire as well. So pretty close to the dude in Firebreather (and thus obviously showing it's not a new concept).

Is there going to be a part 2 for this? I thought it was an awesome movie, but that might just be the drugs talking.
