His speculation is that it's a rocket punch

The beam is called a "Beam Lariat" though, which means its intended use is to smack the entire forearm on the enemy. The following video shows an example.

The beam is placed on the perfect position for dealing massive damage during such a maneuver. Even the pose of the Titus in its image shows the proper positioning for smacking down an enemy for that particular move.

Speaking of the Titus, looks like the Gundam War CCG site shows another surprise:

Yes, those holes on the knee are beam emitters. Though considering that those holes are identical to the ones on its shoulders, does that mean we should expect a beam shoulder bash attack too?

I hereby dub the Titus the "Wrestler Wannabe Gundam".

This is gonna be quite awesome to see. Having a Gundam perform smackdowns on the helpless Gafran.

Don't forget German Suplex and Shining Wizard, two of the most popular wrestling moves in ACG.

I'm reminded of the Maxter.

I don't like being reminded of the Maxter, it sucked.

Well the Titus could do a very nasty atomic drop or shoulder block.

So... beam spikes on the knees and shoulders, beam lariat on the forearms?
This makes me hope for two things:
*Effect parts for those on the HG
*With any luck, some incredibly badass combat scenes with the Titus.

Frite's shaping up to be quite the close combat monster, isn't he?

Perhaps it'll be the antidote to the Maxter, and we'll finally be able to move on.

The Good gotta suffer for the bad...It's 1st grade all over again...You already know this...GSD ruined Kira's character so much, it is truly hard to remember when he was an emotional conduit...

Okay but that wasn't the original point you were trying to make.

Just watched the 5 minute preview I'm not too wild on the character designs, but I'm sure the plot and story will be awesome though.

Character's death should be done for more reasons than to try to appease a bunch of people who want a series like V Gundam.

Doesn't matter the reason.. i just want (and can speak for a majority of viewers here) a justifiable reason that makes the depth better for both plot and character dynamics, even if it does a ripoff of V gundam, its how its executed and implemented that makes the death welcomed.

You know, no deaths in Gundam-verse had managed to top that of Uso's mother and the scene of how he carried the helmet with her decapitated head in the aftermath.

And that was the last time we had a protagonist in his early teens to pilot the title mecha, too.
