A pacifism plague wouldn't be messing with their minds, it'd just remove the general biological aggressiveness from the krogan. They cans till decide to cause another nuclear winter on their planet if they want to, the plague wouldn't stop them from that.

Still pretty goddamn unethical though, but hey, between that and letting krogans go wild, the decisions made suddenly sound very understandable. Not ethical, but understandable.

They aren't infertile for life its just that not every baby makes it less likely for viable offspring so in the wiki it says 1 in 1000, that might seem bad to humans but krogans have a much faster birth rate and their biology allows the to live long lives. Only reason that their dying out is because they still feel the need to fight or kill anything that moves.

Something that even Wrex recognizes which is why he is trying to get past their instinctive brutality

Considering several krogan have been quoted that the krogan "fight wars over fertile females" there does very much seem to be a permanent fertility loss.

I trust the scientist, maybe after the first few fails they just assumed they are infertile

I think I have made up my mind about the Genophage, after a few days thinking it over.

The fact is the Genophage is a perfectly legitimate weapon, used to harm your enemy's ability to continue with the conflict in times of war. You may or may not say it is ethical to use bio-weapons in real life, but I think in Mass Effect most rules of warfare are allowed.

The problem with the Genophage isn't its application when the Council were fighting the Krogans; the problem is it is still active literally generations after the Krogans have already surrendered.

In short, it is now no longer used as a weapon, but as a suppressive device used to keep the Krogans down long term. Krogans are now officially treated like they are inferior to all other sentient species. They are being told that they have no control over their own fertility, that everyone else but them have control over their race's destiny.

Krogans alive in the current time have nothing to do with the original conflict. But they are still paying for the actions of their ancestors even after all these years. If I was a Krogan I would certainly be mad about the Genophage.

That's why I believe the Genophage should be lifted. Not because it was wrong to use it when it was invented, but it was wrong to keep using it after the war was over. Krogans cannot be forced to live in peace with other races, they have to make that decision on their own terms. They need to learn to use voluntary birth control, and also to know that the next time they wage war against the Council, they might not be so lucky as to merely get a lower fertility out of it.

Is there any non-Genophage revelation/inevitable-decision-making announced yet? Geth vs Quarian maybe?

What about squadmates? Last time I checked there will be Garrus and Tali (if they survive the suicide run), James Vega (new character), Virmire survivor...that's four. Any news on the others or how many squadmates will join us?

Is it true that all weapons we get in 2 will be available for us in 3 and can be given custom upgrades, including the Revenant and Widow?

...and will High Explosive Ammo return?

Isn't the human face model of default male Shepard some kind of secret? They said in interview that he is based on a real person, but refused to say who.

.. Secret? It's been known for quite a while, the face model is Dutch male model Mark Vanderloo. People even nickname the default male Shepard "Sheploo".

It's just that one of the interviews on ME3 had them saying it was a secret. But I guess nothing like that can stay a secret on the Net, as the person had his face out in public.

Which interview is this? Linky? I am just curious as to why anyone would say such a thing in an interview for ME3 when the face model has been known for years, since before ME2.

Maybe they were talking about femshep? Since the appearance of femshep was an actual secret before the versions were revealed and all...

This is the first time I've seen this, themed N7 weapon pack with the CE game! I've been begging for this for a long long time. Now I can have weapons match my armor!
