German mag, Gamestar's February issue has some juicy new info. Slightly spoilerish but nothing on the scale of the stuff leaked in the leaked demo last year.
Spoiler:

Implying they didn't do the same during ME2.
Hell, first thing they did coming out of the whole thing was spoiling that your teammates can die in the endgame.

As expected, number 11 is going to start a shitstorm on BSN.

Edit:
Crap, meant number 10. I'm going blind...

That was my first thought when I saw it, though it takes very little to send BSN into meltdown

Other than that, I'd say there wasn't much there we either didn't already know or was not always likely to be the case.

Feels more and more like an open world RPG that Bioware also makes. Tons of choices from past games affecting this one. All in all my priority is to keep as much of everyone alive as I can.

Worst to worst the Batarians and the Vorchas can burn. I'll try and save everyone else.

Those are two species I think the galaxy will be better off without.

An interesting ending might be if you let everyone but humanity go extinct...

Jackass ending?

Simple.

They'll just stick their heads in the sand and go lalalallalalalalallala I can't hear you.

Or they'll just assume it's a massive geth fleet.

Or even worse they'll try to make a deal with the reapers

How is that a jackass ending? Humanity's been fighting against this alone for quite some time but does anyone else listen? noooooooo.

I mean aside from Shepard and Cerebus even the Alliance had covert operations in dealing with the reapers.

The Geth did, or at least the right faction. 1183 of them even risked their lives for him.

So how many of you are actually going to start ME3 with the council dead? The legacy game I am playing is based on my main Shephard, whose decisions were based on what felt right at the moment, and when I didn't know what the consequences would be, or how the game mechanics fully worked. It felt the most natural to me, versus the guided best possible outcome paths I also played.

Cheers.

The council lives in my save games for two reason:
1. I like the way the Turian weapons dealer goes "OMG Shepard you're my hero!" (finally, some real respect!)
2. I want to see the Turian chancellor suck-it

I think I'm gonna make one more play with them dead though, because I'm interested in the dialogues. I hope I still have time.

For me, number 10 above raises (for me, at least) the question about what the possible "best ending" would be for ME 3 then? I mean, in ME2, the obviously best ending is "everyone survives", but what would the best ending in ME3 be then? Number 6 on that list implies that like it or not, we WILL be forced to make a few sacrifies here and there during the course of the story, meaning a few species being wiped out may be unavoidable...

... Or, perhaps not, depending on past game decisions and other factors. For example, if we acquired the cure for the genophage, then I could see the Krogan rebound even if their homeworld is devasted. The Asari and Salarians might also rebound simple enough (or at least stay around) given their nature... The Turians, the humans and other minor races may be another matter though...

Most people'll probably feel like leaving the Batarians and Vorchas to their fate (and maybe at least one or two of the minor races too), courtesty of their Always Chaotic Evil status so far <_<, but it wouldn't surpise me if the devs have thought of this too by making saving them worth your times (the Vorcha are numberous and the Batarians are said to have an impressive enough military might, I think?).

Ah well, I guess it'll all make for quite the replayable game!
