a rant

I am wanting to do this 2 year program for health information tech but to be honest I am not that smart, I had this problem where I can't retain information. It is a struggle but no one out there actually believes in me that I can do this.

Wondering if someone is in the same boat as me and could give me advice, with struggles and if they succeeded with them.

Well my first question would be how do you study the material and are their any issues that might be present that are hindering you. Also how is the material explained and can you grasp it on the first try.

(FYI- Biology teacher, who's taught Anatomy, Microbiology, and physiology)

Have you considered trying SRS (spaced repetition software). It could be something as simple as flash cards that you repeat, or more complex tools such as Anki (which help automate the flash card process).

you sound like the type of student who can benefit from drilling

keep repeating information in a frequent and consistent and it will stay in your head for life

that's basically how i memorize piano pieces and guitar chords, just constant practice for at least an hour a day
