My favorite beam saber, though, is Kampfer/Nu's beam katana. |

This is NOT worth buying. My friend bought it and i took a look at it.
I prefer the MG Aile Strike. Also, Bandai will be releasing these soon: 1. MG Justice 1/100 2. MG Providence 1/100 3. MG Duel, Buster, Blitz and Aegis (however, this will NOT be very soon. around feb/march 2005) 3. Gundam seed Destiny Models. (also, many people are saying they will be releasing 1/100 models of raider, Calamity and Forbbidden, but it may NOT be true) They did not release any announcements of releasing any more PG for Seed. |

If you're visiting Japan, pick up the models locally, if that is at all possible. This PG one was on sale for 20% for about 12,000 yen (or less), and the PG Zeta Gundam model goes for less than 15,000 yen. Still expensive, but when you see that HLJ.com sells Zeta for 20,000 yen, picking one up, especially if you want [to give] one while you're here already isn't a bad deal, IMHO.
And the shield is not broken in the sense that there's pre-made battle damage. It is like a GM-type of a shield, however. The sword is also made of some metal of sorts - aluminum most likely. Articulation looks excellent on the display model that I saw; I didn't notice any visible screws or bolts that keep everything in place for the pose.

Grandslam (the sword) can double as a letter opener then.
Scans of the assembly booklet :- To make things sound more tempting, this set will comes with a DVD of Gundam Evolve 8 featuring Strike. Last edited by MakubeX2; 2004-11-20 at 07:34. |

A message from a fan girl next to me...
Right now a Fan-girl returned from japan has a few words she wants to say. Here it goes... (sits back and lets her have it...)
Got one~~!!! ^___________^ At a great price too -- 30% off the RRP -- which means I got it somewhere around US$100. And people who love maneouverability in their gundam models should love this!! The leg action on this thing is damn impressive!! (Returns to the keyboard...) That's all for the public announcement. You should all now pelt rotten tomatoes at her because she's now sitting back and laughing at all you people who have to pay more plus shipping. Remember, this is not me who is doing this!!
