Nope, still here (though quiet). I'm just happy Yen Press seems intent on publishing all the light novels and the manga adaptation. Makes me wish they'd take a shot at finishing Moon Phase or ARIA (both unlikely from a sales standpoint - both were abandoned by now defunct publishers).

I loved this show but let's be honest, it first selling point was Horo's moe factor. :P Nowadays the moe that sells has become childish, even baby-like, just look at Pacifica from Scrapped Princess vs Chaika from the same author. Don't think S&W is the kinda stuff that'd sell nowadays.

Wow, thread necro... God i wish there was a Season 3. I've got the novels though, still need to get the last one though.
S&W wasn't really about the 'moe' though, despite some cuteness with Horo it was much more about interactions... and basic economics. Mostly economics.

I suppose adult conversations about economics, business, and currency could be 'moe'. Sure the 'hook' may be the young appearance of the goddess for some but the maturity of the romance (seinen level) likely leaves much of the shounen audience (young boys) confused.
