Right now, the Round Table's being supported by the Adventurers in Akihabara & the People of the Land. The Round Table needs both of their support to stay in power & keeping Akihabara out of Westelande's hands. Now that Westeland nobles has an "official" presense in Akihabara, the People of the Land could change their support. Depending on how the Westeland Nobles & Eins do things from here on out. If the People of the Land were to start supporting the Westeland nobles & Eins, the Round Table's going to start collapsing & the Weastlande nobles will start to take over Akihabara. And, let's also not forget about Rayneshia's arranged marriage. Odds are, that will play a huge factor into what's to come. Last edited by DarkJak2050; 2021-01-18 at 07:55. |

What do you think "people of the land" means exactly? It is just a term to identify the NPC, that means the nobles of Wastelande are also "people of the land" and so is Raynesia and the Eastal League.
What could happen is that the current relations between Akiba and Eastal will sour, because one of the prominent figures of the former has allied with Wastelande which is enemy of Eastal.

I think the author officially named them "Landers"?
They're pretty much the inhabitants of that world. But I'm not sure if a reason for those namings was given. If it was given, I've simply long forgotten about it... |

Adventurers are essentially immortals as they can infinitely respawn, so they won't die of starvation even without food. However the quality of life would drastically drop if they could no longer eat.
Eins has no authority over the adventurers and subjugating immortal beings is going to be extremely difficult even if he had a huge army. However Akiba is already full of people of the land and they already recognize him as the de facto authority, and not only them, all the surrounding area do so as well. So if Eins proclaims himself ruler of Akiba, the remaining adventurers would need to openly challenge him, and it could escalate into a civil war where every people of the land would side with Eins. Even if the free adventurers won, the people of the land would still turn their back on them. And since their comfortable life fully depends on the people of the land, well, that's why Eins holds all the cards in his hand and everyone else is screwed. I wonder what Shiroe is going to do about this whole situation. Will he manage to stop Eins' plans, or will he end up supporting the creation of a government? Even so, he'll probably change the situation to his advantage.

The problem is that the Adventurers aren't united enough to say "this is our land, and these are our rules, which don't include subservience to People of the Land's bullshit aristocracy". |

Okay, all I can say now is the ball is in the court.
We know what'll happen because of the "preview" that was shown at the start of Episode 1. But now we're about to see how it all happens. And it turns out that I was right on some parts with my last post; Spoiler for Foreseen Thoughts:
Now, on a side note... Spoiler for Side-Note:

So in other words in order to subvert the situation you need to start a revolution and completely change the people of the land's mindset, but without a proper government the people of the land will hardly ever want to side with a bunch of adventurers. The other option would be to force the people of the land into obedience. But that could escalate in a full war against both eastal and westelande, but more importantly the majority of the adventurers of Akiba would not agree with that plan. Also let's not forget that honesty is one of the biggest guild of Akiba, and it became even bigger after Krusty disappeared, with old D.D.D. members switching over. Its members might not be battle hardened as D.D.D. or Black Sword Knights, but they are still a battle oriented guild. When you consider they have infinite respawn, you are looking for a conflict that could last forever.

it looks to me like Westeland is only going to wait for a bit before turning the screws, so they'd better ask themselves how far they're willing to take it. And isn't Honesty full of low level members? That's the impression I got from this season's dialogues. |

Yeah and at that point most adventurers would pretty much abandon Akiba and settle in some other place that has a respawn point.
So assuming it was possible to begin with (maybe the Cathedral is just decoration and the actual respawn point is intangible), destroying the respawn point would mean the end of everything they have built so far.
