Synopsis

Naoe-kun, a massage therapist, is about to head home for the day when he's saddled with a rather strange patient. This lovely lady has emerald eyes, pointy ears, and grew up in the forest—everything about her screams "elf," except for one thing: her bodacious body. It turns out she left her world but loves junk food in this one, and now her obsession has caught up with her. Can Naoe-kun help this loveable elf girl lose the weight—and keep it off?

For those of you not familiar with their works, they usually like drawing chubby/fleshy/pudgy women.

Someone on this Reddit thread claims the mangaka draws these body shapes due to the mangaka's thinphobia.

Apparently the actual anime segment is only the 1st part.

The 2nd part is an omake style exercise guide.

The choice to make this series a bunch of shorts is weird given the source material reads more like content suited for full length episodes.

It's like the reverse of Mr Villain's Day Off, whose manga content reads like a bunch of cute fluffy shorts but then got stretched out to full length anime episodes.

I wasn't really expecting this to be a 12 minute ecchi series but I'll take it. Its uncensored on HiDive too which is nice.

that's "THICC fat elf boobs" . It's nice to see some actually decent-looking plump women over the more slender type of girls; I feel like that aesthetic is still rooted in the 80s and 90s in Japan.

Wasn't expecting the nipple nudity(can't remember if the manga had any), but was welcomed nonetheless.

The later half of the episode turns to a fitness show. While doing push up and pull up, the elf stills wear shirt with "Love Oil", while eating fries(starch heavy).

I didn't think they did, so I re read the first few chapters to check. Nope, they used steam and stuff to cover them. Seeing the manga again, it seems like they plumped her up a bit more for the anime. In the manga, she doesn't seem as morbidly obese.

As the art progresses, she gets much heavier. The anime still more, but overall consistent with Erufuda's average size chapter to chapter when she has a long stretch porking out on fries.

Kuroeda is pretty much the same in both mediums.

Too bad the animation hasn't really matched up to the art style of the manga. The nipple view is the only thing thats' to the animation's advantage.

Anyway, I agree with Elfuda's aunt; he has been rather passive lately in regards to her. At his rate, she'll never shrink down... but then again, she doesn't particularly care to. Actually, I'm not understanding what her purpose is here. She already slimmed down, then decided to come back. So what's the point of slimming back down if she just wants to gouge on fries all day?

I am think that the manga's intention is to make comedy about losing weight. Decades ago, there were movie and TV series about losing weight. Somehow, the anime is like promoting fat acceptance movement(fat pride). However, the anime is able to portray girls as overweight and sexy at the same time. Victoria's secret marketeers could take note from this anime.
