First episode was promising enough, reminds me a bit of Watayuri though this seems more focused on the plainy X gyaru ship... though I doubt we'll get to actual yuri in 12 episodes. Still plan to stick with this though.

That seiyuu otaku not even recognizing his oshi is hard to buy, no matter how much more plain and gloomy she looks in real life. The gyaru is not that well known so it's believable, plus her appearance does change a lot.
Anyway, was fun enough. I feel like Miku Ito is in every yuri show I watch, not that I'm complaining, but it feels like she's getting typecasted. This is pretty much Adachi and Shimamura: seiyuu edition

They did more than just bath. There is no heterosexual explanation for how overjoyed Yuhi was while fondling Yasumi's boobs. Yasumi even commented what they were doing would be borderline even in a yuri show
This entire time, it feels like Yuhi has just been looking for excuses to spend time with Yasumi. The two pretty much admitted they like each other in this episode. It was all well and good until jealousy reared its ugly head and Yasumi went too far implying she slept with the director to get the role. And behold... a scandal that's exactly about that pops up the next day. It's easy for us viewers to piece together that the guy is her dad since we literally saw him a few minutes earlier in a flashback. I can tell where this will go. Yasumi will give a very passionate speech defending Yuhi on the radio and it will go viral, mending their relationship and saving the show at the same time. I'm more worried about the seiyuu otaku guy. He pieced together that his oshi in his class (get new glasses, nerd) at the worst possible time.

I like fanservice as much as the other guy, but when the anime is somewhat trying to sell a realistic-ish story on seiyuu, it would be nice if they didn't have a scene where one of the girls turns into the perverted guy writing the story
Also, the guy is clearly her father. Are we really gonna do this?

Did this episode just... destroy the entire premise of the show?
I thought the whole point was to show that seiyuus have a public persona and a real one, and the entertainment came from seeing Yuhi and Yasumi interact so differently on the radio and in real life. But now they're going to do the radio as their real selves... Anyway, I quite liked it but it had some problems. First off, my apologies to otaku-kun, he turned out to be a real one and attempted to warn the girls. Unfortunately, he wasn't the only Yuhime fan at this school and another figured out her identity and harassed her. That guy was pure trash, I'm glad he got doxxed. You'd think the girls would have to transfer schools since their identities were exposed, but apparently not. I guess their full names didn't leak? Yuhi's dad just so happened to be using a pseudonym too, so no problem there. Releasing her audition tape was a good move, people can judge for themselves. They have to take it at his word that he didn't push for her though (the opposite, in fact).
