Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu

Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu (A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring) is getting an anime adaptation for 2024

Plot

Quote:
I'm terribly sorry』
A god was suddenly prostrating in front of Kayano Takumi. He was apparently killed by mistake. Moreover, he can’t be born again in his old world. However, he is able to live in a different world? Then, let’s do that, please.

The god made a mistake again and transferred me into a dangerous forest. Seriously, what’s going on? Besides, there are children here. I can’t leave them here; I will have to take care of them. But they're mysteriously cute — and mysteriously powerful!

I've been reading the manga version of this. Even if isekai, I like these chill ones with no harem for a change and just enjoying the adventure through the world. The twins are adorable and the main appeal of the series for me. And seeing how they announced the VAs of the twins first before the main guy, and according to ANN they're real-life siblings, they know what to market first.

If I had a nickel for every time there's a show about an isekai'd person with a Fenrir, taking care of small blue children who are extremely strong, while hunting monsters and cooking food and also communicating with gods, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice now.

The twins are cute but otherwise it's a cheap adaptation.

Cute couple of episodes . I like the kids. They are OP as heck in a way that is endearing to watch honestly.

Not much else to say at this point, but it's not bad.

1st ep; kids were indeed cute, but the setup is just terrible. I could complain about it having game interface, but I should really stop beating the dead horse at this point. Kids aside, I don't think the other elements or the MC are interesting enough to keep my interests. I'll probably check this thread to see if it gets more interesting, but I think I'll pass this one =0\.

I'll admit that something about all the animals suddenly speaking felt a bit weird. I kind of liked them just making random noises honestly .

Also didn't think I'd see someone begging for death, but apparently that's where this episode ended. I'm not sure that Takumi will brutally slaughter this guy in public in the middle of the town but...he might. Guy almost lucked out with Takumi taking the kids and leaving town without ever meeting this scumbag.

Instead he's now pretty much asking for whatever happens to him.

Hopefully they'll let him keep the bracelets. If they balk, I'd push for it as my reward for getting rid of the ship. They seem super handy. I wonder if the author is going to use the ship later; like they find it has something valuable in its hold or something.

It's funny how over exaggerated peoples' reactions are to stuff. When Isaac was reading the letter and was talking about the labyrinth, how the aide was losing his shit and like "what's he thinking??" makes it sound like something bad, heh. Then when the other brother finds out Takumi is responsible for the soy/butter scallops, and Takumi is like "sorry..." wtf are you apologizing for? lol

It's also amusing to me how in soooo many isekai shows the person makes Japanese food and everyone loses their minds over it. Just once I wanna see one of the people be like "ehh... this tastes weird. I'll pass"

Honestly it would be nice. It's a whole world that has developed it's own sense of culinary practices. Just dropping in with simply the recipe for Japanese food shouldn't always have people falling to their knees and praising the heavens . It's fine in a setting like "Restaurant to Another World" I can roll with that since it's not just the recipe but the ingredients, cooking tools, etc. But in a show like this Takumi just knows some recipes and is making use of ingredients that already exist in this setting.

Not that it's going to change since of course he unleashes curry and has a chef that's spent his whole life honing his craft begging to become his apprentice .

Honestly I'm not sure why he doesn't take up the suggestion of just becoming a cook. He can buy a life and raise his kids. He doesn't actually need to be an adventurer. It's not like he's in this world on some grand mission. He was just dropped into this place due to divine stupidity. As absurd as it is he's got endless options for careers that he could be going with instead of just vaguely adventuring. He's the most powerful force in the world in terms of transport. You can load a whole ship (or anything that can hold items) into his inventory and have him take a much cheaper transit option to the destination. He's also apparently bringing food this world will never imagine on its own to the table so he could be the most famous chef in history.
