This isn't just this manga's problem, but the manga-ka is worried they will never be able to make another manga with the same following so they just drag the story on and on and on. That's one reason I liked Watashi-tachi no Tamura-kun. 2 volumes. Done. No fluff.

Eh, for this, it's just a very comfy manga with likeable characters. It's not like I'm starving for things to read, so while I wish there was more, and it has taken forever to get to this point, I just hope the journey continues, fast or slow.

I started rereading the series because I didn't remember much and have just gotten to Chapter 38.

I came across the part where Kazuno (the witch Senpai) and Makoto do that shamanic job together, where they have to solve a case of people getting lost at a park area at night. The topic of the Nine Paths comes up, and Kazuno says Makoto could be a Terra. Kazuno can make wind, so hers is related to that, but I forgot the actual word.

Anyway, as far as I can recall, the Nine Paths never came up again. I'd like to know more about this, since it seems interesting. And I also wonder if Makoto could learn Earth-based magic, since she's a Terra. Although she's already becoming an herbalist and also has the makings of a seamstress.

Don't worry. It comes up again later on when Makoto's path is revealed. I don't remember exactly what chapter though.

I'm not sure if you want spoilers (even though you've read it, I gather). So, I'll just say her path is specifically indicated later in the series. And Akane's is mentioned (Akane obviously had hers a while ago, so it was really said for comparison purposes, if I recall). The sisters have different ones.

Yeah, I read the chapter already. Akane is Light and Makoto is Dark. Very rare elements. Man, they really are sisters, huh? Very rare but opposite elements. Very interesting.

I want to see when and if Makoto manages to learn that pocket dimension magic she was trying to learn. Would also be nice if she learned other advanced Dark elemental magic too, eventually. But of course, first she has to learn more simple ones to build up her foundation.

But since Dark witches like to make stuff, like Makoto is growing vegetables and even came up with her own magic (the talking flame), both of which are examples of "making" things, I'd like to see her make more things as well. She makes witches' robes already, and I know she makes one for her Senpai later on, but I'd like to see her make more things still. Like more new magic, for example (if possible, more complex than that talking flame one).

A while back in this thread I said I'd like if Makoto's future was that she was sort of like a Q Branch (from James Bond) in the sense that she'd create things that would be helpful to other witches as they go out on missions.
