^ If you think about it the game itself is technically gta and batman: ac's lovechild.
But overall, I loved this game from start to finish, but my only complain in this game are the ladies... they have no involvement to the plot whatsoever and you can only date them once!! *sigh*

Hong Kong action theater, it is easy to forget, isn't shy about delving into the paranormal. It is fitting, then, that UFG will follow suit this month with the Nightmare in North Point mission pack (official bulletin). I don't think jiang-shi and other occupants of Chinese culture's roster of Things in the Night are exactly covered in police training, so... be careful.

6 More SD-based DLCs planned. Looks like Square may consider SD to be a franchise soon.

My other complaint so far is relatively minor: the fact that certain outfits are one-piece jobs instead of having suit and headgear components. Yes, I understand that Wei needs the full-face covering to keep his cover intact during certain missions (High Speed and the SWAT missions), but this should not affect the outfits you wear otherwise...

Hmmm. Maybe I'll come back to this game. Certainly I found it fun.
And also amusing as while I have no problems driving on the left side of the road IRL, in Sleeping dogs I'd been too used to US. I used to have collisions all the time by being on the American side of the road. Then I made like a Hong Kong action movie and started pulling escape stunts. XD

Word of warning to those getting Year of the Snake for more story: the DLC feels more like an extended police mission run than a continuation. None of the recurring cast appear save for Inspector Teng, and the resolution is horribly disappointing (the 'mastermind' just stands there and lets you arrest him).
The only good thing about this DLC are the outfits you get afterwards. The two police outfits let you taze and arrest anyone as much as you want (the SWAT outfit even comes with a tear gas launcher), and the 'Snake' outfit lets you plant bombs in the back of random cars for some twisted fun As for the other DLC, best one story-wise is Zodiac Tournament. Nightmare in North Point was a fun diversion, but not one I'd likely revisit. Wheels of Fury and Drunken Fist Style DLC are godlike, though. Best car in the game (looks exactly like the Batmobile but without wings), and Drunken style has insanely sick counters.
