Does Black Vise having to sacrifice his body parts to use his abilities be one of his weaknesses?
I mean, if you look in the anime, after Black Lotus destroyed his two cubes, he has to send his other arm to create the Layered Armor. Or does he have an ability that lets him recreate his arms? |

Overall a nice episode, but Chiyu was extremely porly handled here.
First she begs and begs until the two agree, so she can do... what exactly? She nevery did anything whatsoever, never even said a word, much less did she use her healing abilities, she just stands there like a potted plant XD The fight Taku-Noumi was pretty good, until Noumi took the potted plant and starts torturing her. Taku pretty much instantly lost his fighting will and was quickly defeated. Pretty much, Chiyu was only there as a convenient plot device so Noumi could (almost) win the fight. Taku was really too stupid there. He really should've continued fighting Noumi as before, then he probably would've won. Even if Chiyu had lost there, she would've simply respawned. Luckily, Kuroyukihime came just in time to save the two who were already on the verge of losing. Now that she is keeping Black Vice at bay and the have a chance again, their fighting spirit should return. Let's see if Taku can regenerate limbs as well.

I was like screaming at Taku to just eviscerate the both of them. Nomi would get KO'd and have his BB uninstalled and Chiyu would just get her punishment for backstabbing them. When Chiyu got her arm ripped off, I thought it was her healing arm, but remembered it was her left arm that healed, but I guess the psychological shock from all that pain inflicted on her knocked her out for awhile. Still a great episode.

...you'd think with all that torturing...Taku shouldve just one hit mercy kill chiyu while finishing Noumi...
...instead she gets to feel a slow never ending death...with twice the pain brought to you by unlimited burst...test your limits! ...come to think of it...she kinda deserves it...for being AFK... |

Question about BV's deceleration ability
How does it actually work? does time just pass 1000 times faster while in the Unlimited Field? wouldn't that actually be sorta dangerous? considering you never know when people will walk past or mobs will attack And how does he disable it? how does he know exactly when to disable it? even if he can disable it in under a second wouldn't that be way too late if someone decides to randomly attack him? |

Since he is experiencing normal time in UBF from my guess, he would not appear to normal linkers until he deactivates it. As for other specifics, it is still unknown.

He was shown the ability to travel through shadows, so my guess is he hides out in the shadow while experiencing normal time in UBF. On the other hand, for him the sceneries would change at a quick rate while decelerating.

So far, Black Vice has shown three abilities: a)Blocks of Restriction b)Travel through Shadows c)Layered Armor Wanna bet he has more abilities considering he's the second-in-command of the group. Makes me wonder how ridiculously overpowered the head honcho is.

I really want to continue reading the light novels, but the delicious visuals of the anime (+ studies) get in the way oh that lol. Thi action packed episode was great, especially Pile's Cyan Blade but also Black Vice.
Despite him being on the villain's side...I actually LIKE him. He's got that Japanese air of being humble/respectful to those he talks to, which may not actually show his full honne or personality, which I feel makes him even more mysterious especially wondering what his affiliated groups motives are. Its also the fact that we whilst we have a**hole Noumi here who thinks he's already won it all and pretty much sh*ts on "Everybody", Black Vice doesn't see it that way, admits to going all out keeping SC stuck and even suggest having Noumi praise him, which I also see as BV acknowledging Haruyuki's strength. And BL Vorpal Strike vs BV Layered Armor, that looked sweet. I'm also amazed it is also the author's voice. Man he wouldn't make a bad seiyuu. Edit: Nevermind, wrong voice, but it sorta did remind me of that glasses avatar who the author voices |

I can not wait until this arc is over!! Lol! Nomi is getting on my last nerves. Not to mention, Chiyu has been practically useless this entire arc. And maybe I'm the only here who has this opinion but, is it just me or is there too much whining and crying in this show!? If see another character cry, I'm going to scream!! Lol. It seems like every other minute, somebody is whining like a little b!tch. Excuse the language but its really annoying. Especially when I'm seeing Haru constantly doing it.
With all that being said, I still like the direction this show is going, it's just that this arc has made it really hard for me to enjoy with the things I've mentioned before. Hopefully Nomi will be put out of his misery for good because I'm sick and tired of this mother****er! |

Are we watching the same show here? Lol. In any case , I still do like the show , it's just that sometimes, the whining can be a bit overbearing so to speak. My last post more or less was just to vent out some things that didn't sit well with me through the series. And Haru has whined since episode 15. All this is a moot point however as this series is about to end. I'm just along for the ride at this point.

So yeah uh...about this episode. The way I saw it KYH was ultimately just doing what I would expect out of her character at this point and performing some form of extreme devotion to her team (in this case riding 15 hours to get to the scene of battle) to see what the heck is going on. The reason I don't have a problem with her interfering directly instead of acting as a bystander like she typically does when she's following Haru is because of the presence of Black Vise who is out of Haru and Taku's league and shouldn't be there tipping the scales. This to me means all bets are off as to the original agreement about the fight and what we have here is essentially a reset. Taku and Chiyu are down (or at least very low on health) and now it's high tier avatar against high tier avatar (Lotus and Vice) and mid tier against mid tier (Haru and Nomi) at least for now. This to me doesn't undermine anything so much as make this episode kind of a detour around the main event yet again. I suppose an argument could be made for this arc having gone on too long (2 volumes of LN, almost an entire cour on TV), but unless KYH starts cleaving through Nomi too I don't see how she's doing everything for Haru/Taku. And something tells me she'll have her hands more than full with Black Vice.
Anyway to me Haru and Taku have already come a long way anyway. The only thing they have left to prove is whether than can finish off their original target Nomi. I think a lot of this fight is going to hinge on what Taku and Chiyu end up doing from this point. Neither is actually out of the fight so they can still make a difference somehow. I don't see them fighting each other so we'll really have to see what they have left in the tank and what they do with it. One thing is certain though, after all that damage Taku and Chiyu's special gauges are probably getting very close to if not full and actually Chiyu's has probably been full for a while now since Nomi beat on her and didn't actually finish her off, which means the potential for Citron call is out there. Hmmm.....all in all a very interesting setup for the final battle of what I hope is only the season and not the TV series. |
