Everyone looks REALLY fluffy in that image. Kuon looks older than I'd imagined her looking. Irina and Xenovia look high as hell.
But as a Fate/ fan, I'm used to promotional art not looking like the finished product, so I'm fine with it. |

I don't think its Yasaka. Maybe something like a forced perspective thing because Kunou is next to Cao Cao with both of their heads are at about the same level it makes Kunou look taller and therefore older.

I’m glad they made a new season, but goodness, the new character designs is such a turnoff for me! They look nothing like they were before or should be; they’re supposedly 17, but they either appear to be 7 or 34! And is it just me, or does the new ise look like a detective kindaichi ripoff, in terms of design? And most importantly, what on earth did they do to Rias?! She looked very mature and sexy before, but wow, I’m at loss-of-words about the new her...
Overall, I’m very likely to skip this, as the new characters are simply unbearable to watch! I’ll continue with the LN though. |

I was never in favour of the new designs (see my previous comments for the reasons) - if you do like the new designs, good on you hope you enjoy the new series!
I personally believe that a character’s appearance is one of the major factor in enjoying a series. The puppet’s movement might be great (skilled puppet master), the story of the play might be great and interesting (award-winning writer), the puppet’s voice might be graceful and captivating (great voice actor/actress), but if the puppet is disheveled (or in a rude term: looked like sh*t), well... |
