It's unusual, but Yotsugi really kept screwing up in this episode. I guess that's what happens when you have to deal with Tsukihi's madness. Good thing Mayoi was there to save her ass.
Nadeko has become a shut-in, but she has a better outlook on life. Looking forward to her arc.

Monogatari is back with our favorite cool and cute Ononoki-chan voiced by Saori Hayami! Still posing as a doll to monitor Tsukihi as the Phoenix
 !I love how Araragi's only role in the episode is to be considerate and give Ononoki some ice cream...which is what gets her caught  .Congrats on getting your own room Karen! Feels like the Fire Sisters are now a little more distant as a result though, but I guess that's natural  .Tsukihi just won't let anything go and does everything extra. My doll is sentient? I'll just toss it around the house and set it on fire, totally normal thought process. And Ononoki only exposes herself because Tsukihi goofs and loses the match  .Ononoki arcs really seem to have a lot of Magical Girl and Ultraman references. Not that I mind, but I love how Ononoki uses "I'm a magical girl" excuse and Tsukihi totally buys it becuase of course she would. And her sense of justice means she won't let Ononoki do it alone  .Our favorite ex-Snake God Yandere returns! With short hair! Living that hardcore hikki mangaka lifestyle drawing Shojo manga about herself and getting roped into creating a Magical Girl monster! But at least she's happy and committed to doing something she wants to do, this time not at the expense of others (minus how she went too hard in creating a slug monster out of the slug apparition Kaiki used on her). But maybe she should see the sun a little more ?It would be nice to think of Kaiki just living it up with his money somewhere  .Where did Tsukihi get that naginata? She should not be allowed to use bladed weaponry  .Ononoki understands the meaning of life and death more than most, which makes her a particularly interesting pairing with Tsukihi and her oblivious status as a Phoenix who can transcend life and death  .Honestly that slug really does look like something out of a Precure anime  .The day is saved thanks to God Hachikuji taking care of the Slug! All you needed was to fold up some paper! Didn't need a drawn out magical girl battle after all! She even has a new spin on her catchphrase  !On the one hand...thanks to the Phoenix, Tsukihi recovers from mental trauma and just...forgets it! On the other hand, because of that she can never really grow or change as a person so she'll still be a spitfire screw-up who just blazes through everything and never matures or changes. And now she and Ononoki are doing it all over again  !
