Special A.

This could be a discussion thread about Special A or.. well,
Actually, I just want to ask something.

First off, I know that this anime/manga is old and finished. But this thread won't take too much discussion. Well, I just happened to watch all the episodes of Special A. Stately, 1-24 episodes of Special A. After I watched Special A, I got curious of what happened at the ending and read the manga of it.

I didn't read the manga, I was preferably, skimming the pages of it. While, skimming I got confused of how the story became. Now that I know that there was some extensions on the story.. Could someone please tell me, what really happened on the manga based Special A? More preferably, what was the ending.

Excuse my laziness, But I was lazy to read the whole thing. :D Because it would take me a long time on reading it.

Hopefully, someone could answer this briefly. Thanks in advance.

Hikari x Kei - Hikari finally got to meet more of Kei's family: his mother Midori, who is basically Kei's female version, and her father, who is initially against Hikari's relationship with Kei, but that was only because of his guilt over losing his own wife and the estrangement of his daughter, so he does not want Kei to suffer like he did. Grandpa got better.

Akira x Tadashi - Of course!

Jun x Sakura - Finally materialized.

Megumi x Yahiro - She finally fell in love for real with Yahiro after initially pretending to be. But she's too shy about her feelings, and Yahiro doesn't seem to reciprocate it seriously. It was until Yahiro detected Megumi's intention to date him that he decided to date her anyway.

Ryuu x Finn - Finn had a cameo in Episode 24 of the anime, cross-dressing as a male. It was later found out that Finn is actually a princess of a far-away kingdom who has to pretend to be a prince in order to gain a male heir to the throne. Only when the queen did give birth to a male did Finn got free of her responsibility to her kingdom.

Well, I was able to understand all you said when I used Wikipedia, stately this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Special_A_characters) and read Chapter 99. That's because of the character's description that was there. Also, Thank you for taking your time summing all that up. ^^

I wouldn't call them dating...the fact that Yahiro is still trying to answer Megumi's feeling (but he always say "I don't have any feeling to you" to Megumi @_@ ) makes me believe that they haven't dated yet or anything like that. Still, it's pretty obvious that Yahiro is beginning to love her in the last few chapters :heh:

But aren't they going out? According to the anime, Megumi asked Yahiro out. Then, Yahiro agreed to go out with her. Well, It took time when they both fell for each other. But they did get along well.

In the manga, Yahiro only went out with Megumi because of several reasons. Megumi wanted to show her boyfriend to her mother (she doesn't have any) and because of some events, she ended up with Yahiro. While it's true that Megumi already liked Yahiro at that point, Yahiro was still torn because of Akira. That's why when Megumi confessed, he admitted that he still likes Akira and reject Megumi's confession...

..Of course, being tsundere as he is, He gave some hints that he actually likes Megumi. For example...Yahiro was trying really hard to train Megumi's singing so that she could have her debut as a singer. After that he gave her a stone which symbolize 'the person that matters the most' to Megumi :heh:
