Probably. I think that the first thing La Folia did when she returned home was to break the news to her overprotective father and grandfather that she's in some sort of twisted relationship with the Fourth Progenitor.

What Kojou did with Kanon was recorded by Kanon's ninja bodyguard and sent to Aldegira.

As an anime-only viewer, I don't recall Kanon ever having any Aldegian ninja bodyguard protecting her, only Natsuki and Astarte.
Was this character excised from the anime adaptation, or does the character only appear in the later volumes beyond vol 6? What is the bodyguard like?(ie. male or female, name, any personality quirks.)

PS. I remember the anime briefly introduced an Aldegian girl working for Lafolia, during the anime's Alchemist arc. Short silver hair, black uniform, the one who helped get Kojou to the cruise ship to save Kanon from Kou.

I knew Yukina´s past was horrible but this exceeds my expactations, what kind of monsters do this to their own child!? With that kind of past this incident must have brought back many painful memories for Yukina. Acording to la Folia only the Royal Family knows of the existence of Kanon, the general public knows nothing of her because it would deal a huge blow to the moral of the goverment. And yes, she´s technically a princess but with no right to the throne btu La Folia and her grandfather love her very much and so seems the case of Kanon´s brother, the current King of Aldegyr.

Why video taping her? We´re talking about a bodyguard sent by La Folia, she must think the wole was hilarious and somehow the king got his hands on the tape, result= Kojou just won himself another headache. :D

All of the girls have great abilities to create a powerful country, La Folia bieng the schemer will be gold to the Empire in the political area, Yukina, Sayaka and Yuma are great in the combat-magic department so they can be a great asset fro the protection of the territory, (Moegi´s words at the end might hint something like this) and Kanon, well, maybe a mascot or public face? the girl is indeed adorable and I everybody loves her. :D

God knows how they were kept. The arms dealer got them because he formed a contract and became the Blood Servant of one just like Kojou did when he was young.

And the third column are the powers of the 12 Kenjuus.

The forms of the 12 Kenjuus are based on the astrological signs of the Zodiac. You noticed that some of them have interchanged in their original places due to Avrora's ranking them such as:

- Taurus changed from second to sixth place being replaced by either Virgo or Capricorn

- Virgo's identity in Kojou's Kenjuus is not yet stated. Hence, the 2nd Kenjuu could be Virgo.

- The 10th Kenjuu should be Capricorn/ The Sea-Goat. If Avrora didn't made any changes.

As to why I have stated that Virgo could be the 2nd Kenjuu is that if there is a Goat that symbolizes Light, then the 2nd should symbolized the opposite of it, Darkness.

If Virgo is the 2nd Kenjuu, then one figure that comes to my mind is Lilith, the Mother of all Demons.

I had a feeling that its powers could be "Shadow" or simply "Darkness" that swallows its victims to eternal abyss of Darkness. It would be scary if it is capable of devouring light and cover the whole island or a continent or two into Darkness.

As for Capricorn, I'm not sure of what kind of powers it is capable of. According to what I've dug up is that in astrology, Capricorn is considered an earth sign, introvert sign, and one of the four cardinal signs.

The Encyclopedia Britannica states that the figure of Capricorn derives from the half-goat, half-fish representation of the Sumerian god Enki.

He didn't get a message in writing, only words passed to him via La Folia. He was like no way, WTF? I am going to fight against someone who can mobilize the military force of an entire country!

Oh and one more thing.Elders from the Warlord's Dominion are pissed because Vatler helped the Warlord's rival, Chaos Bride. His 'gramps' was apparently amused by the whole incident however.

I don't see why anyone has worry about this getting a S2, it was already selling well before the anime hit (it's not the first STB has been in the top 20 selling LNs) and did even better that ended (moreso with those BD/DVD sales). It's more of question of when at this point then if. That whether the same staff will be on board.

IIRC, not often unless a fair amount of time has past. Typically production committees like keep the same anime team or studio as much as possible if their investments have found success. You have to remember, most execs and such don't really care about quality as much as the bottom-line. As far as they are concerned SL did great work on STB. *shrug* =/

I know I'm kind of nitpicking here, but the average is indeed more 6.000 than 5.000:

Of course it has to be noted that once the weekly sales fall off the 100 region it won't get listed anymore.

Those numbers are going by that alone sufficient for a second season. But I guess for that to happen the LNs have to progress a little bit first. Last but not least, sometimes good numbers still don't guarantee a second season in the immediate future. Hataraku Maou-sama had an average of about 11.000 or so and as far as I know there still isn't any news of a possible sequel despite the source material being more than enough to allow for one.

Besides her was the aluminum case given to her by the Lion King Organisation, as well as a shopping bag from the supermarket nearby.

Yukina was reading that book while answering Kojou's uneasy enquiry.

"It's a medical book. I'm looking into a treatment for the vampire's cold."

As she said that, Yukina showed the page that was open to Kojou. On it hardly readable chemical formulas and graphs were printed very compactly, causing Kojou to wonder anxiously why she would read this genuine scientific work.

The thought alone of the commotion after being exposed while carelessly going to the hospital was already dreadful enough.

Kojou shouted back. Yukina was sent out by the Lion King Organisation in order to monitor the fourth prognenitor. If she came to the conclusion that Kojou was a danger to humanity she had the permission to kill him. Meaning, that thing called the catalyst was prepared for the assassination of Kojou.

Facing this unexpected reaction by Yukina Kojou was very perplexed. During the moment of his confusion Yukina had already put on the apron and suddenly took out a little knife out of her book bag.

"Yes, of course. Porridge shouldn't be a problem, right?"
"Wait a minute ... what is that combat knife doing here?"

Spotting the army knife in Yukina's hand, Kojou asked in a shivering tone. Yukina, however, only turned her head with a wondering expression.

"Didn't I say I will be making a porridge. I need to cut the green onion for the medicine into the porridge."
"Where's the kitchen knife!? You do have a kitchen knife!?"
"I do. But it's more convenient using a knife I'm already accustomed to. This knife can even cut the thighbone of a pig."

Even though his throat was still very sore, Kojou was still frantically retorting.

"It isn't the matter of being accustomed to or not. Can you cook Himeragi ...?"
"Yes, of course."

Perhaps wounded by Kojou's words, Yukina gave a resolute reply.

"I also received survival training while staying at the Lion King Organisation. I do possess basic knowledge like dismanteling a wild boar or preparation of a suppon."

Please give me a break, Kojou pleaded towards the heavens. Unclear whether she understood Kojou's mood, Yukina happily put on Nagisa's apron and quickly began with the cooking preparations.

I mean other than healing , Koujo really seems to be an ordinary human minus the familiars.

3. Can any of his familiars address one of the seemingly glaring omissions he has, especially as a vampire? He can't fly, something that is generally seen as a vampire staple either through shape shifting into a bat, or just outright flight capability on their own.

4. Is the Lost Warlord Dracula aka Vlad Tepes? His vampire underlings are called D-Type. He is from Eastern Europe, Romania where Vlad was from is in Eastern Europe. He seems to be positioned as the most powerful vampire behind Cain, assuming Cain is a vampire, as he has by far the most familiars 72 (yes that is a reference to 72 lesser demons of Solomon) and is the first progenitur.

5. Last question, I am loosing track of the harem since new characters seem to be added starting in vol. 7 and I have only seen the anime. Who is officially in and who could be in the future?

The goat has perfect defense and offense with its thousands of thousand diamond bits that even ward of reality warping.

specially the 3rd kenjuu is practically warping its surrounding. distorting it and its mouth is a freaking black hole that sucks anything even without moving.

and all its power is wasted on kojou who got 1 hit KO by a special force (human!) in vol 10(is it werewolf or human? though still... 1 hit ko? oh come one. how dumb can one get)

Koujou brings great shame to his Kenjuu. I really hate how the author basically gets away with no using Regulus or any other kenjuu in basically every single situation by saying, oh the damage would be too much and destroy the island. What a coop out. Because if Regulus is a bad ass as I have read in these threads, Vatler, Nakulvera, etc. He would fry them all to the ground no matter what, because the descriptions sound like he can level a city. But oh no, we would have no itogami isalnd then.

Oh well I still love the work, so hopefully ln get a steady translator and season 2 comes out in a year or two. Id also like someone to pick this up domestically so I can buy it on blu ray.

I don't know tbh. I would hope that it would get some traction once it becomes a full project but that isn't going to happen for a couple weeks/months. Ideally we would actually have 2 translators for the project but RL stuff is always more important than translating so nothing we can do but wait.

Ideally we would actually have 2 translators for the project but RL stuff is always more important than translating so nothing we can do but wait.

As far as STB goes, it has everything going for it, great sales of both blu ray/dvd and light novel, but no word yet on a sequel. Then again, people were on the edge of their seats waiting on DxD 3, so it might just require some patience.

Also anyone working on Rogue Hero the light novel. That was another anime like Mondy that left me craving more.

whoops: I was getting threads mixed up, I thought Mondy had the anime event, now I see that its STB, so I would think by October they might have enough for season 2, so maybe that is it. Dam, got my hopes up with Mondy.

Yea he is currently on Chapter 2 of vol. 1. A conservative estimate would be at least a month before vol 1. is finished. But like others say better late than never.

I would assume actually everyone other than Koujou knows. Clearly all the haremettes know. The LKO knows, because Yukina's teacher even said as much to Koujou when she was in cat form. I mean the things with tsundere the only two people who can't see it are the tsundere and the love interest.

That´s a difficult one, Yukina is complete tsundere, Shana herself could´ve given her classes so she won´t admit she´s in love Kojou. The first clue to her feelings is when she was about to be killed by Astharte in volume 1, Kojou was the first thing she though in that situation and You could say she´s fully in love by the time Kojou died protecting her from the crazy priest. She should have realized her feelings by the time Yuma visited Kojou, judging from her reaction to her.

master/servant, savior/saved, closest person in the world/most important person in the world. You could say on that time. Kojou's world revolve around Avrora and even in death. Avora still cares for Kojou even if she's dying and sacrifice herself to end the root? or the corruption in kaleid blood. She also made Kojou the successor of Kaleid blood and even after death(apparent death) she still guards and helps Kujou which was shown in the anime when she uses Nagisa' body.

The animation was crap for those kenjuu. They reused some scenes of Regulus Aurum and butchered the fight scenes.

I hope they can make better designs for the kenjuu to make them more imposing and regal.

The design of the kenjuu weren't bad aside from the turtle and #11 which was supposed to a be a woman with a snake tail for a lower half.

The problem is the fight scenes. For starters, just summoning his kenjuu is supposed to create earthquakes. In this aspect, the appearance of Al-Meisa Mercury was pretty stupid. It literally appeared out of thin air. What actually happened was Kojou's magic power created a hole in the dimensions through which Al-Meisa crawled through from the void. Also, it didn't bite off Kanon's wings. All it did was stand there, the mere act of which caused space to distort, and open its mouths, which started sucking things in like a black hole.

Also I am fine with the fights, the most annoying thing is Yukina always jumping in and she does that in the light novel as well.

Lastly I saw the manga and the light novel pics, the anime does a pretty decent job. If you really want to complain trying looking at unbreakable machine doll or flowers of evil and then come back and tell how faithful the STB anime looks.

What's overused about a giant ass turtle made of silver mist? Those fights were lame and you know it. Almeisa vs. Kanon was short and anticlimactic. Kojou vs. the witch bitch didn't make a lick of sense with random kenjuu being used, and don't even get me started on the battle with Wiseman. Kojou didn't even use Almeisa Mercury.
