Interesting how the mechs have worn and torn surfaces. I think some character designs, like Stefania's, will be different in the anime.

I wonder if this, or Isekai Smartphone, will be more warmly received by the Japanese, given Knights is more focused on appealing to the subset of mecha otaku, rather than Smartphone's more mainstream focus on meeting general otaku tastes in fanservice and adventure.

True, but sometimes the Japanese fandom's taste can wildly diverge from the West's.

Like how Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress was dismissed by foreign eyes as rubbish, but the Japanese loved it - comments describe it as having excellent action and dramatic events (in a nutshell). Or how stuff like The Big O was loved by the West, but dismissed by the Japanese.

QUALITY doesn't always hurt an anime, I think - Kemono Friends's QUALITY didn't stop it from getting super-popular in its homeland and ultimately reviving its parent game franchise.

Designs for Eru's grandpa, mother, and Boss David skew more towards the manga design.
Batson's design leans more towards his LN illustration, IIRC.

I don't remember the dwarves being designed with pointy ears though. Must be anime original.

Designs for Stefania, Kurata Tsubasa and Eru's father seem to be largely original.
No drill-curls again for Stefania, but her long wavy hair and hair bow look quite ojou-sama-ish.
Kurata looks very bookish.
Eru's dad looks like a German army antagonist from spy series like Joker Game, or a sub-boss encountered by Wonder Woman/Captain America.

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed out of the fantasy races the author has used in Knights, he's never introduced kemonomimi(ie animal ear) races. Which is at odds given how popular kemonomimi are in most fantasy WNs/LNs of the isekai variety and how frequently they are used as characters.

I think the anime staff just wanted to get to the mecha action right away. IIRC Vol 1's 1st half is just character intros and worldbuilding with no major robo-fights.

Princess/noble rape is just not as common as people think. Even without forced marriages, touching noble ladies was seen as a sign of barbarism and completely avoided in a normal war (because the moment you did it was the moment they would do it to you, and one hour of satisfaction was not worth endangering their wives and daughters) Not to say touching the royal family would worsen the stability of the country as fraught as it already was.

Maybe author was busy with his real life career. His Twitter profile says he considers authoring his secondary job.
He used to update the source WN daily when he first started in 2010, but after publishing in 2013 new chapters came out once a week, then once every 2-3 months.

Ernie and Addy crash-land in the Bocuse Forest, gets picked up by tribe of giants. They eventually get involved in the tribe's fight against a stronger, more evil tribe and organise an alliance to defeat evil tribe. Meanwhile the remaining Silver Pheonix group is charting an airship to find and rescue Ernie.

If any further info is missing please advise.

Ikaruga's internals are destroyed by the swarm of acid spewing flying demon beasts. The Giants and (IIRC) Gnomes uses processed Demon Beast parts for armor.

Eru and Ady observe the community of 3-eyed giants. A giant hunter came to deliver his catch of the day. They're in conflict with a rival clan called the Rubel Clan. Later that night, Eru and Ady sneak into the camp to see what kind of tools they have, but they were spotted by the Giant Hunter and got chased away. The giants suspects they're a part of the Rubel Clan.

The next day Eru challenges the Giant Hunter to a duel for the right to stay in the clan. Eru demonstrates a new magic casting technique by using a Wire Anchor as a spell catalyst to cast spells from a different location like he does with the Ikaruga's Rahu Fist (ie: he just built an Incom). Meanwhile Ady is in her SG scouting the community while everyone's attention is on Eru/Giant Hunter. She finds their tools and notes that they're too primitive and doesn't think they have the skill to craft SK parts.

Eru defeats the Giant Hunter by using higher grade spells to distract him while he goes for his eyes. All the giants respects Eru's bravery and he is allowed to stay. Ady then appears to tell Eru what she found, and Eru quickly tells everyone that Ady is his wife so Ady doesn't have to fight a duel as well. Ady is over-joyed.

The next scene is back in Fremmevira at Eru and Ady's wedding. The dream ends with Eru waking up Ady. The two goes with the Giants hunting. The Giants eat primarily demon beasts since there isn't enough nuts/berries to sustain them. Theres an entire community of Giant clans who work and trade one another at a bazaar. Eru/Ady kills a Demon Beast Boar to the amazement of the giants.

The giants tells them that its tradition to commemerate the event by making them armor from the beast they slew and with this, they're no longer guests, but members of the Clan. However, they note they can't make armor for them since they're too small. Eru says its fine to just make armor their own size, he'll hang it somewhere to properly display the trophy.

Ady wonders what Eru's plan is, and he tells her that he'll get the giants to craft them SK parts using Demon Beasts. They'll salvage the remains of Ady's Sylphirne for additional parts. Ady notes there won't be enough due to the acid melting its internals. Eru tells her that there are tons of parts. Long ago, Fremmevira launched a campaign to explore the Sea of Trees with SKs which were all wiped out. They can salvage those remains for parts. Ady notes they have no way of actually constructing the needed components, Eru may be a genuis designer, but he actually doesn't have much blacksmithing skills. Eru plans on teaching the giants how to do it. The last issue is that Sylphirne's levitation device had been destroyed, but Eru remembers how those flying acid bugs were flying using a similar method, and smiles

The next day Eru talks to the Giant Elder and tells her his story. That they came from a kingdom in the west and were stranded after a battle with those flying acid bugs. The Elder is shocked that he's managed to kill them as they're among the most dangerous demon beasts of the forest. The Elder tells them that they're in conflict with the Rubel Clan, who are the largest giant clan. They can control the acid bugs. They hope to form an alliance with other giant clans to oppose them. War will begin soon. Eru doesn't want to get involved in this internal matter.

After the discussion, Eru heads out and gathers bones of demon beasts and re-arranging them, trying to find out which parts are best to use. One of the giants finds this amusing, since its a children's past-time to put bones back in place to re-create a demon beast, but he's never seen anyone make one in the form of a humanoid before. Eru feels creeped out doing this because it makes him feel like he class-changed to Necromancer.

Eru notes that the bones aren't homogeneous, making it difficult to re-arrnage them into the shape of an SK. With no reinforcement magic, the bones will be even more brittle. He has enough knowledge on how to process metal, but no idea how to craft an SK using the bones of an animal. He decides that the only way is to experiment. They'll start small and work their way up.

Eru says they'll also have to find a replacement for crystal tissue.

Eru has placed demon beast bones in the shape of an SK, covered it with demon beast leather and hung it on a tree. One of the giants grimly notes that it looks like the giant is being hung. Eru explains that he is trying to figure out just how much muscle he'll need to get something like this to move.

Eru then asks the giant if they can help him carry Ikaruga's wreckage, and a group of giants goes with them with baskets.

On the way there, they notice something flying in the sky. Its one of the acid beasts. The giants panic and run back to the village, and notice acid covering it. Many giants are injured/dead from the acid and poison. The Giant Elder is missing, and one of the survivors tells them that she had gone to face the beasts and died.

The giant warriors tells a young girl, the next Elder of the clan, that they will protect the village. The surviving giants head out for war.

Eru and Ady watches this from afar, Ady noting that the two cannot interfere in this matter.

Eru then tells Ady that the village had been attacked by acid beasts, what do you think happened to the demon beast material experiment they had been working on? Ady suddenly takes a few steps back, because on Eru's face, is a smile of pure rage, like he wants to destroy the world.

Eru laughs evily, saying how dare the bugs stand in his way again. He doesn't want to get involved in politics. It would have just been fine for him to leave the forest and go home. But no, they've just had to destroy his SKs not once, but twice, and he will not take this slight lightly.

Eru goes after the giants, and notes that the Rubel Clan will soon realize that the price of destroying his creations will be very, very expensive indeed.

The narration states that the Rubel Clan had just made an enemy of the most serious problem child of Fremmevira.



The decimation of the Kaelleus Clan was a message to the other clans to not rebel.

On their way to the Rubel Clan, Eru advises the giants to recon and figure out exactly how they are controlling the acid beasts. The giants are surprised that Eru wishes to do battle against the acid beasts, who replies that he needs to pay them back (for his robots). The giants praises his courage.

Ady is angry that the acid beasts had ruined the majority of whats left of the food/spices onboard the Ikaruga/Sylphrine.

They bump into some Rubel Giants. Eru notices that the main difference between them and the Kaelleus Clan is that they have metal equipment. Eru mana crackles and starts going out of control when he then sees that they're carrying the Ikaruga/Sylphrine onboard a cart moved by a demon beast.

As both clans start fighting, a jet bullet suddenly pierces one Rubel Giant's eye, a wire anchor wrapping around the neck of another giant and severing the neck with aero blades. Eru is zipping around killing giant after giant yelling at them not to touch his Ikaruga.

After the battle, Eru is going through Ikaruga's wreckage looking like he's going to hug it. The Kaelleus Clan giants are wondering what is so special about this wreckage, and Eru tells them that its his treasure and he's going to fix it.

They're pretty close to the Rubel Village, so Eru advises them to wear the armor of the Rubel Clan to sneak in. The giants are astounded that he would tell them to wear the equipment of the defeated, but Eru tells them that its necessary due to their limited numbers.

They pass a checkpoint, and enter a village. The village consists of human-sized huts rather than giants. "Goblins". They're actually humans who who possesses blacksmithing skill and craft equipment for the Rubel Clan. Ady befriends them by offering them food. Eru arranges trade between the Kaelleus Clan for meat in exchange for their blacksmithing skills.

The villagers explain that even though the Rubel Clan doesn't protect them, they still benefit from living near their borders. While the villagers are prohibited to enter the forest, the nobility Knight Runners who live with the giants can.

Eru's shocked to hear a word he's familiar with.

The village chief asks Eru where he's from. Eru tells them he's from the far west where there are no giants.

Eru shows them their SKs and explains their goal on restoring them, but the village chief says they don't have the ability to do so. Eru tells him that they already have the blacksmithing skills. They just need to know alchemy to do the rest. However, the villager chief says that the only ones who knows alchemy are the nobility.

Eru asks if they have anything like crystal fiber, and the village chief shows them a storehouse of demon beast parts. However, he notes that the villagers cannot help them because the nobility does regular inspections and if anything is missing, the villagers will be punished. They explain that if they want help, they'll need to go to the city above and discuss with the nobles.

Eru looks through the warehouse hoping to find silver in order to make silver plates so he can create silhouette arms. Ady asks him what does he intend to equip them with? They don't have an SK. Eru tells her that they'll make silhouette arms for the giants.

They head out into the forest and Eru finds a white tree. Its the same type of tree that they use the make wands and has excellent mana control. Eru decides to take the entire tree back.

With the villagers help, they process the tree into a silhouette arm imbued with tactical-grade spells. However, when Eru tells the giants to use it to cast magic, they don't know how. Turns out that while giants all have magical apptitude, they lack the knowledge of how to use it.

Eru tries to look for a giant who can use magic, and remembers about the little girl (Pearl) who is the next Elder. She explains that while giants can use magic, there aren't many who can actually use it. She pours mana into the silhoutte arm, and it shoots out a bolt of fire.

The giants all train to use magic, while Pearl teaches Eru the giants way of magic. Eru notices the similiarities, ways of making it more efficient, and smiles.



Eru is working out an SK design based on what parts they have avaliable.

Spare parts from Ikaruga and Sylphrine.

Various Demon Beasts material.

White Tree to make silhouette arms.

Crystal Tissue.

The only thing they lack is a levitation device, but they can't make one without etherite to power it, highly purified and concentrated ether.

While pondering this, Eru realizes theres already a way to make this;

Ether Reactors gather residual ether in the air and stores it in crystal tissues as mana. He just has to figure out a way of releasing it and turning it back into ether. Crystal tissue can be used as a filtration device.

Eru quickly sketches a design. A number of needed functions are missing, but the general idea is there.

Eru then tells Ady they need to take apart her SG because they need it as a reference to teach the villagers how to craft it.

Eru and the villagers have gathered at the blacksmithing site. Ikaruga, Sylphrine, and Ady's dismaantled SG are there.

They're constructing a new machine using Ikaruga's behemoth heart reactor, metal, white wood, and demon beast parts and using the SG as a reference.

Eru is carving on the white wood an air compression spell. Its noted that it doesn't have a flame spell like the magi-jet thruster engraved yet.

He activates the reactor, and everything appears to function correctly.

Eru then pauses and thinks deeply. He needs to come up with a name for this SK, and ponders.

Ady is teaching the giants magic, when some kind of deformed giants attack the village.

They struggle to fight them off when all of a sudden a demon torso floating ontop of a rainbow colored ring appears.

Its Eru's new SK. Its only half done but can operate.

Its name is the Kasasagi.

Like the Tzendorg, its structure is a series of Flexible Coat.

Its equipped with rapid-fire flame shot spells underneath the armor (ie: Vulcans). Unfortunately it doesn't do much vs the deformed giants who are now throwing rocks at it.

The Kasasagi's new Ether Ring Generator drains an absurd amount of mana that not even the Behemoth Reactor can keep up with it.

The way it works is that it releases refined mana within the SK's crystal tissues as high-purity ether and uses magic to contain it a fixed spot in the air.

The Kasasagi was a rushed job and isn't complete yet (only the upper half had been made). Eru will be doing fine-tuning in-field.

Kasasagi can expand the levitation field, and picks up Komaki who assists Eru in the air.

The deformed giants cry out and summon demon beasts, and starts overwhelming the Kasasagi.

Reinforcements of the Kaelleus Clan appear. Armed with metal weapons and silhouette arms, they clash against the demon beasts and wipe them out.

After the battle, the village had suffered severe damage.

Eru lands the Kasasagi. Everyone wonders what kind of monster had appeared. Eru says its rude to say such horrible things, he's still working on it and shows great promise. Theres aren't much materials so he has to work with what he has.

Several days later the village is being rebuilt with help of the giants.

A villager rushes in and tells them that a Phantom Beast Knight is approaching the village.

On its hand is a person wearing leather armor made out of demon beast materials. He greats the giants noting that they are not part of the Rubel Clan. He sees the Kasasagi floating and is shocked that it is not a giant, a demon beast, or even a Phantom Beast Knight. Its a Silhouette Knight of legend.

Eru exits the Kisasagi and introduces himself. The Phantom Beast Knight starts laughing because he expected a warrior but its a little girl inside.

Eru notes that he's more lost than a traveller, but its close enough.

The man apologises for being rude, and welcomes his old brothers to this land.

Eru's wondering if that means he knows where he's from.

The man says that he does. He is Oberon, the king of this land.

Eru is suspicious of Oberon's claim of being a king.

Oberon understands why Eru suspicious of him.

They enter the village. Oberon's wondering why the villagers aren't welcoming him. Eru tells him that because he didn't know who was coming, the villagers are in hiding. Eru's not sure if Oberon is an enemy or not.

They enter one of the houses. Oberon wants to share information with Eru. He wonders if what is the current fashion like, and shows his clothes which is made out of demon beast material.

Eru says that his clothes are more fitting for a knight than a villager. Oberon is excited and says it must be because of their origins.

Eru inquires about Oberon's origins. Oberon believes that Eru already knows, and asks him what his guess is.

Eru suspects that they are descendants of the survivors of the Fremmevira expedition force from hundreds of years ago.

Oberon tells Eru congratulations, he is exactly right.

Eru says that according to history, the expedition team were wiped out by demon beasts. Oberon tells Eru that wasn't exactly true. They had met with a series of unlucky encounters, but were not wiped out. They survived and met the giants, and became their vassals. None of the people here today know of their true origins.

The Phantom Beast Knights is a result of constant jury-rigged repairs done on their SKs over time, replacing parts they could no longer obtain with demon beast materials until they look like they do today.

Oberon inquires about the floating ship that he saw, and wonders if Eru came from that ship. Eru explains that while he did come from the flying ship, the ship had already departed after their encounter with the flying acid beasts.

Oberon asks Eru about his flying SK. If they have SKs that can fly, would it be possible to leave the forest? Eru asks him if he wishes to return to Fremmevira. Oberon explains that it has always been a dream of his people to return home, even though hundreds of years had already passed.

Oberon invites Eru to visit the city, including the Kaelleus Clan. Eru wonders if thats a good idea considering they're enemies of the Rubel Clan. Oberon tells Eru that he will need both him and the giants help to overthrow the Rubel Clan.

Oberon is leading Eru, Ady and the Giants to the city. Its a few days journey.

The Phantom Beast Knights kept to themselves throughout the journey.

Eru and Ady doesn't trust Oberon. Eru tells Ady that they want to return to the West. They know about the levitate ships, and may be after the Kasasagi. He tells Ady that if they are betrayed, to do "that". Ady smiles.

One night over dinner, Oberon is chatting with Eru. Oberon is asking Eru how he met the giants. He seems to have made them his subordinates, and looks down on the giants. He's surprised when Eru tells him that they're not his subordinates, he was made a member of their clan. Oberon thought it was just a joke.

That night, one of the Phantom Beast Knight Runners are talking with Oberon. He tells the king that he is acting just like a child. Oberon's personality suddenly changes and says they have the Necrolith Song, to work together to defeat the giants, get a ship, and fulfill their wish.

They make it to the city and the outer walls of enormous. Not even the giants would be able to lift them easily.

Phantom Beast Knights open the gates to the city and Eru notes that it looks a bit Fremmevilla, but the atmosphere is different. Centuries had gone by and the people here have developed their own culture. Buildings are built into the trees itself. Eru notes the blacksmith facility he sees along the way.

They head to the castle where Oberon officially welcomes Eru and the others to the city as guests, and throws a lavish banquet. There are a lot of aristocrates there already. They note that Eru is the knight who operates an SK, and say that he's just a child. They do not think it is proper or the king to invite mere children to the castle, but the king does have that personality.

Oberon talk about the history of the city. It was built by their ancestors with the assistant of the giants.

One of the aristocrates asks Eru if its true that he's an Knight Runner. Eru tells him that he is, and is the leader of a Knight Order back home. Everyone thinks he's just joking. Nobody notices Eru's smile.

They are interested in Eru's ability, and Eru tells them to give him a Phantom Beast Knight and he'll show it to them.

The aristocrats note that the Phantom Beast Knights belong to the warrior class, they cannot be lent out so easily.

Eru is interested in comparing their Phantom Beast Knights to their SKs.

Oberon tells Eru that if he tells them about his SKs, they may be able to replicate it, but Eru says it'll be impossible without the proper facilities back home.

The aristocrats say that Eru wishes to go home, so he'll be needing a ship. Eru says it'll be hard to build a ship of that size, but its not impossible, and will be easier with proper assistance.

Oberon says that this is something to talk about after defeating the Rubel Clan. They won't have a reason to stay here anymore.

Eru innocently leans his head sideways and asks Oberon if the villagers from Shimomura (the village that helped built Kasasagi) will be coming as well.

Oberon says of course, but it'll be a monumental task so they'll need to plan accordingly.

Eru notes the brief pause in Oberon's reply, and that gave him all the answers he needs. He tells Oberon that he'll need to think about it for a while. Oberon accepts, and eventually the feast is over.

That night, Eru and Ady are both sharing the same room (Ady insisted).

Ady is excited to be sleeping in a bed again with Eru.

Eru tells Ady, yes, yes. But before that...

He points to the barred window, asks Ady if she wouldn't mind a late night date instead, and pulls out his Winchester Rifle.



Eru and Ady are on the outer-wall of the city looking down on it. Eru wants to head to the workshop that he saw earlier. Ady knew thats the reason why Eru wanted to come out.

Eru wants to sneak into the workshop and take a look at the Phantom Beast Knights.

Eru opens the cockpit (the mechanism is the same), hops into it and hacks into the Magius Engine. Everything seems the same, but theres something on the back of it that he doesn't recoqnize.

With nothing to do, Ady is looking at the Phantom Beast Knight, complaining that it doesn't look cute.

Ady then notices something that doesn't look like it belongs on an SK. Its an pipe with crest engravings on it. Its something unnecessary, so she tells Eru about it.

Eru notices that its the Life Song. Its only known by the Elves, and wonders how these people are using it along with why in this particlar location.

At that moment, they hear the sound of guards approaching, so the two quietly escapes and return to the castle.

Later, Oberon tells Eru that the giants have ordered their immediate presence. Something huge is happening.

A fleet of levitate ships are flying over the forest. The largest fleet in the West.

Led by the Izumo, to find their missing Knight Leader, the Silver Pheonix Knights are once again invading the area of the giants.



Dee is standing on the deck of the Izumo, complaining about the cold.


Off in the distance, he sees some things flying in the sky. It can't be a flying SK since it would have communication lights, and all the other ships are behind them. Its Demon Beasts. Dee smiles and excitedly runs back into bridge. They're on the right track.

Meanwhile down in the forest, a group of giants are conversing. One of them says that they have to rely on the acid beasts again as they cannot fight in the sky. There aren't as many as before (when they first attacked the Izumo) due to not having time to fully replenish them. They have already contacted Oberon for assistance and will crush these invaders from the sky.

The western fleet does a full status check. They can't count the number of flying demon beasts, and can't see anything down in the forest. All communications are good.

In the bridge of the Izumo, Edgar tells David that the SKs are ready for deployment. Dee says he'll have to borrow a flying SK and launches with the others.

Dee orders everyone to keep their distance, and they fire their silhouette arms, but the acid beasts are avoiding them.

The acid beasts are firing acid bullets at them. Dee warns everyone to pay attention to the air currents in order to keep an eye on their spread. They fire silhoutte arms into the clouds and the explosions are pushing the acid back/keeping them in check.

The acid beasts seem irritated that their previous tactic of creating acid clouds and hiding inside them aren't working, and are leaving the clouds to attack.

Dee was hoping this would happen, and prepares a new weapon. Its a trident that combines both the functions of a lance as well as the Missre Javalins. When released, it will explosively accelerate like a missile.

It impales an acid beast and its noted that in order to fly, their armor are paper thin. It crumples and upon death, releases an acid cloud.

Dee and the others note the danger, and and Dee flies around the acid cloud.

The acid beasts retreat, and Dee does not order a chase in the event of an ambush. Dee tells everyone lets return and have breakfast and everyone happily agrees.

Dee stares at the endless forest and wonders where Eru is and how they will even find clues as to his whereabouts. He decides not to worry because there will surely be chaos whereever Eru is.

The Rubel King receives a report on the situation. Is told about the acid beasts' defeat by the flying knights. The King wonders what are those flying things and why did they come here again.

Its explained that the Rubel Clan is the largest clan of the giants. Using the power of the acid beasts, they became the largest and strongest clan. Other giant clans are tiny and live in the forest.

Oberon tells the king that they are making preperations against the invaders, and the giants leave. Due to Oberon's small size, they don't notice his smile.

Ady is happily playing with Eru, when a guard (Zakaria) walks in wondering what they're doing. Eru is sleeping on Ady's lap with Ady being careful to not wake him up. Zakaria tells Ady that the King has returned and is requesting to speak with them.

Oberon welcomes Eru/Ady and apologises to them for being a bad host. Eru tells him not to worry as he needed to respond to the summons of the giants.

Oberon tells Eru that the giants are moving fast because invaders from the sky has appeared again. Its the Silver Pheonix Knights, they've managed to defeat the acid beasts are heading in this direction.

Eru/Ady are overjoyed that they've come to get them home.

Oberon tells them that the Rubel Clan are in disarray. They're the largest clan, but can be defeated if the other clans band together against them. This won't happen due to the threat of the acid beasts, but if the acid beasts are defeated...

He tells them that the Rubel Clan are planning to cleanse the rest of the giant clans before that happens.

Oberon tells them that the city and people are hostages, the giants are bringing them in to fight against the Silver Pheonix Knights.

Oberon tells Eru he needs to let his people know that they're not enemies and to not worry about the acid beasts, the Rubel Clan won't be able to use them in the coming battle. With the union of the giant clans, the Phantom Beasts Knights and Silver Phoenix Knights, they can defeat the Rubel Clan.

Eru wonders if this means they know how to control the acid beasts. Oberon tells Eru that its their ultimate trump card, and they cannot tell Eru why just yet.

Eru starts to leave to meet up with the Silver Phoenix Knights, but is stopped by Oberon who tells him to take Zakaria act as a liason.

Eru and the others meet up with the Kaelleus Clan and Zakaria is shocked that Eru was telling the truth that he was made a part of the clan.

Eru tells them about the situation. They're shocked that the Rubel Clan is planning on the destruction of the rest of the giant clans.

Eru tells them that the Rubel Clan will not have the assistance of the acid beasts in the upcoming battle.

The giants agree that they need to go set up an alliance among the other giant clans. Eru tells them that he can use the Kasasagi to quickly transport them around to talk to the various clans. The giants are worried though that the other clans will view Kasasagi with hostility because it looks like a demon beast, but Eru ensures them it'll be fine because it can carry one of the smaller giants.

Eru takes off to visit the giant clan (Ady, Zakaria and Pearl are brought along as well). Along the way, they notice a fleet of airships in the distance.

Eru accelerates at them. Everyone's wondering what Eru is doing, and Eru happily says he wants to have a fun reunion.

Kasasagi VS Silver Phoenix Knights

On the Izumo, the emergency alarm is sounded.

The crew has been dealing with flying demon beasts on a regular basis, they wonder what it is this time.

They're shocked when its only one unit and an unknown type.

Both Edgar, Dee and the First Company are deploying in flying type SKs (Tuediane).

Meanwhile other Tuedianes are in the middle of fighting it. They note how fast the Kasasagi is and how easily its evading their attacks. Its as if it has eyes on the back of its head.

Its heading for the Izumo, and Edgar along with the First Company had just launched and is on an intercept course with it.

They attempt a pincer attack on it with missire javelins. Eru says its a good plan, but it has its weaknesses, and he'll show it to them. Ady say to leave it to her.

The Kasasagi is actually a two-seater. While Eru's flying, Ady is controlling the vulcans and shoots down the incoming javelins. The vulcans not only destroy some of the javelins, but sever the silver nerves controlling them. Once severed, they become uncontrollable and fly off in various directions.

They're approaching the Izumo, which is firing silhouette arms at them. Their accuracy and prediction is very good, coming close to hitting the Kasasagi a few times and aiming at where they believe it will fly to next.

The First Company has surrounded them, and Eru says that if its Edgar, he'll be cautious, and Dee would just rush in. This is going to be fun.

The rainbow-colored ring under the Kasasagi increasing in light and expands, its ether ring generator is increasing the output.

The Kasasagi is flying higher and higher into the sky.

The big advantage the ether ring generator has over the etherite version is that you can change altitudes at will.

The Tuedianes can't catch up to the Kasasagi, and attempt to shoot it down with silhouette arms, but Eru evades them all with small bursts of its magi-jet thrusters.

Meanwhile, theres a hypothesis going through Edgar's mind:

1) Its easily avoiding their attacks
2) Insane mobility
3) Can counter everything they do
4) Humanoid shape

He has his suspicions, but whatever it is, its still acting as a threat to the fleet so he'll go all out, and accelerates towards the Kasasagi.


Eru notes on his theory about the weakness of the flying SKs, and sees Edgar quickly approaching them. Eru wonders if this bold attack is coming from Edgar or Dee, smiles just thinking about on-coming clash, and charges at the Tuediane.

At near point blank range, Edgar fires everything he has at them. The distance is too close to shoot them down with vulcans.

They cast a Wind Barrier over the Kasasagi, that and the flexible coat allowed them to deflect one of the javelins, but it tears off the armor. The giant its holding casts an explosion spell to knock Edgar back.

Eru says that without the others, he would have lost and is happy that everyone is getting stronger.

They land on the deck of the Izumo and all the silhouette arms target them. Dee is heading out with the Guyalinda. Eru opens the cockpit and steps out. Dee says he knew it was him and everyone stands down.

Skipped ahead for a bit and saw something interesting after this arc

Remember how Dee and Edgar were hesitant of leaving the Silver Phoenix Knights to form their own knight orders?

Upon their return, the king announces that the Silver Phoenix Knights will be disbanded.

Instead, each part of the previous order will become seperate individual Knight Orders that will report to the main Knight Order led by Eru.

ie: Dee, Edgar, and Helvi will each become Knight Leaders and lead their own Knight Orders. Each are subordinate to the head Knight Order lead by Eru.

So the king gets what he wanted (Dee, Edgar, and Helvi's experience and teaching a new generation of Knight Runners without the Silver Phoenix Knights becoming staggnated), as well as keep Dee/Edgar's wish of not leaving the Silver Pheonix Knights.

They're now called the Kanegane.

Eru is now in command of something like 100x SKs

Eru tells Dee that its been a long time, and asks him to signal the others that he's friendly. Dee fires his silhouette arms into the air and it creates a blue explosion; the signal that they've found the Ikaruga, and everyone powers down.

Eru explains to Dee that the reason for all this was because he had no way of contacting them (BS). Dee says thats the reason why he didn't join the fight.

Meanwhile, Ady is having trouble controlling the Kasasagi, and its swaying back and forth in the air. Eru goes back to help Ady control it.

News of Eru's return is trasmitted throughout the ship.

The SK elevator descends and everyone's shocked about the Kasasagi. It looks like a demon beast with four eyes and they wonder why only the upper half is finished.

Boss tells everyone to shut up, and Eru explains about the situation and about the giants.

He introduces Pearl to the others and tells them that he taught magic to her. Dee wonders what the hell they've been doing, holds his forehead and shakes his head. Eru tells him its necessary because the battle between the giant clans will happen soon, and explains about the upcoming conflict between the giants and the Rubel Clan's control over the acid beasts. They wonder how they can use a monster as a weapon, and Eru says its the same like they tamed horses.

The bombshell is then revealed. Eru tells them about the descendants of the expeditionary army that are living in the forest.

He then explains about the Kasasagi. Its built from the wreckage of the Ikaruga with the assistance of the people living in the forest. Its equipped with a etheric ring generator, an upgrade over the etheric levitator.

Suddenly, an alarm is sounded, Boss tells all the mechanics to get ready and for everyone to get out of the way. The bay door opens and flying SKs enters, crane arms grabbing and bringing them inside.

All the returning pilots are shocked that its really Eru. Edgar walks up to Eru and grabs his head. Ady says it looks fun and wants in. Edgar eventually drops Eru and properly welcomes him back.

Zakariah has awoken. He had fallen unconscious during the battle as he was riding on the Kasasagi's palm due to the inertia/wind pressure.

An attendant tells him that he'll call Eru over. Eru tells Zakariah that he's safe. He was worried at first because he had threw up on the Kasasagi's hand. He explains that he's currently on a flying ship that the West uses. Zakariah is shocked when he looks out and sees their SKs.

Pearl is chatting with everyone. Everyone is treating her as a friend due to her being Eru's student.

Eru introduces everyone to Zakariah, and wishes to discuss their plans.

Understanding the situation, Dee says they shouldn't get involved and wants to return home. Finding Eru, the mission is over.

Everyone agrees, but Zakariah asks them to wait and officially asks them for help.

Edgar says that they are descendants of Fremmevira and he would like to help them, but Eru's the only one who can make the decision.

Eru says he doesn't want the Silver Phoenix Knights to get involved. Only Addy and himself will fight. He explains that the situation with the giants is an internal despite and Addy and himself are both members of the Kaelleus Clan. Eru has his own reasons to fight, something he cannot forgive. He can't order the others to fight in this war that doesn't involve them.

Edgar asks Eru if he and Addy will be able to handle it on their own, and Eru tells him everything will be okay since he has the Kasasagi. It looks weird, but its made from Ikaruga's wreckage so it has enough power to fight the giants.

Its up to everyone to decide what to do themselves. Dee sighs and says he's being selfish as always.

A shocked Zakariah asks Eru why doesn't he order his men to fight. Edgar wonders if there is any value in the others joining the fight, and Eru tells them that its the first meeting between the giants and humans. They're currently seperated by the Sea of Trees, but it won't be like this forever. It'll be difficult for friendly relations between the Rubel Clan.

Everyone in the Silver Phoenix Knights accepts and rolls with it. Everyone decides to just do what they want. They split up between those who will be going with Eru, and those who will set up base of operations.

Zakariah is shocked at this disorder and how everyone is acting so freely. He asks Eru why he is allowing this. Eru replies that he'll command when its necessary, and right now is not the case.

Boss asks Eru if he'll use the Kasasagi as it is. He had brought along spare parts for the Ikaruga. It'll take some time, but he can rebuild it.

Eru wanders between the Kasasagi and Ikaruga's spare parts and starts thinking things over. In order for the Ikaruga to function, it needs the Behemoth Heart, but the Kasasagi won't be able to move without it. Both require tremendous output to function. Eru, trembles over the decision he has to make.

Boss says why don't they just move the Kasasagi's functions over to the Ikaruga? Eru tells Boss that he will use Kasasagi as is. It will take too long to repair Ikaruga and due to the Kasasagi's new equipment, it'll take even longer to both re-model Ikaruga to accomodate it and teach the mechanics about how it works.

Watching Eru leave, Zakariah wipes the sweat off his brow and wonders whats up with these Silver Phoenix Knights and what the West are thinking.

Eru tells Dee that its been a long time, and asks him to signal the others that he's friendly. Dee fires his silhouette arms into the air and it creates a blue explosion; the signal that they've found the Ikaruga, and everyone powers down.

Eru explains to Dee that the reason for all this was because he had no way of contacting them (BS). Dee says thats the reason why he didn't join the fight.

Meanwhile, Ady is having trouble controlling the Kasasagi, and its swaying back and forth in the air. Eru goes back to help Ady control it.

News of Eru's return is trasmitted throughout the ship.

The SK elevator descends and everyone's shocked about the Kasasagi. It looks like a demon beast with four eyes and they wonder why only the upper half is finished.

Boss tells everyone to shut up, and Eru explains about the situation and about the giants.

He introduces Pearl to the others and tells them that he taught magic to her. Dee wonders what the hell they've been doing, holds his forehead and shakes his head. Eru tells him its necessary because the battle between the giant clans will happen soon, and explains about the upcoming conflict between the giants and the Rubel Clan's control over the acid beasts. They wonder how they can use a monster as a weapon, and Eru says its the same like they tamed horses.

The bombshell is then revealed. Eru tells them about the descendants of the expeditionary army that are living in the forest.

He then explains about the Kasasagi. Its built from the wreckage of the Ikaruga with the assistance of the people living in the forest. Its equipped with a etheric ring generator, an upgrade over the etheric levitator.

Suddenly, an alarm is sounded, Boss tells all the mechanics to get ready and for everyone to get out of the way. The bay door opens and flying SKs enters, crane arms grabbing and bringing them inside.

All the returning pilots are shocked that its really Eru. Edgar walks up to Eru and grabs his head. Ady says it looks fun and wants in. Edgar eventually drops Eru and properly welcomes him back.

Zakariah has awoken. He had fallen unconscious during the battle as he was riding on the Kasasagi's palm due to the inertia/wind pressure.

An attendant tells him that he'll call Eru over. Eru tells Zakariah that he's safe. He was worried at first because he had threw up on the Kasasagi's hand. He explains that he's currently on a flying ship that the West uses. Zakariah is shocked when he looks out and sees their SKs.

Pearl is chatting with everyone. Everyone is treating her as a friend due to her being Eru's student.

Eru introduces everyone to Zakariah, and wishes to discuss their plans.

Understanding the situation, Dee says they shouldn't get involved and wants to return home. Finding Eru, the mission is over.

Everyone agrees, but Zakariah asks them to wait and officially asks them for help.

Edgar says that they are descendants of Fremmevira and he would like to help them, but Eru's the only one who can make the decision.

Eru says he doesn't want the Silver Phoenix Knights to get involved. Only Addy and himself will fight. He explains that the situation with the giants is an internal despite and Addy and himself are both members of the Kaelleus Clan. Eru has his own reasons to fight, something he cannot forgive. He can't order the others to fight in this war that doesn't involve them.

Edgar asks Eru if he and Addy will be able to handle it on their own, and Eru tells him everything will be okay since he has the Kasasagi. It looks weird, but its made from Ikaruga's wreckage so it has enough power to fight the giants.

Its up to everyone to decide what to do themselves. Dee sighs and says he's being selfish as always.

A shocked Zakariah asks Eru why doesn't he order his men to fight. Edgar wonders if there is any value in the others joining the fight, and Eru tells them that its the first meeting between the giants and humans. They're currently seperated by the Sea of Trees, but it won't be like this forever. It'll be difficult for friendly relations between the Rubel Clan.

Everyone in the Silver Phoenix Knights accepts and rolls with it. Everyone decides to just do what they want. They split up between those who will be going with Eru, and those who will set up base of operations.

Zakariah is shocked at this disorder and how everyone is acting so freely. He asks Eru why he is allowing this. Eru replies that he'll command when its necessary, and right now is not the case.

Boss asks Eru if he'll use the Kasasagi as it is. He had brought along spare parts for the Ikaruga. It'll take some time, but he can rebuild it.

Eru wanders between the Kasasagi and Ikaruga's spare parts and starts thinking things over. In order for the Ikaruga to function, it needs the Behemoth Heart, but the Kasasagi won't be able to move without it. Both require tremendous output to function. Eru, trembles over the decision he has to make.

Boss says why don't they just move the Kasasagi's functions over to the Ikaruga? Eru tells Boss that he will use Kasasagi as is. It will take too long to repair Ikaruga and due to the Kasasagi's new equipment, it'll take even longer to both re-model Ikaruga to accomodate it and teach the mechanics about how it works.

Boss is looking at the Kasasagi in dismay at its construction. He can't believe Eru not only used demon beast materials but also wood. Looking at its internals which is a complete mess, he doesn't even know how its operating. The strengthening magic required to hold it together alone makes it even more of a mana guzzler than the Ikaruga.

The only thing of value on it is the ether ring generator, but its currently impossible to incorporate it into the Ikaruga.

Pearl asks Eru what they have to do next, and Eru tells her that they need to persude the clans to fight.

Dee wonders if they will have any trouble dealing with the Rubel Clan. Eru says it shouldn't be a problem as long as Oberon is telling the truth than they can prevent the acid beasts from participating. They'll have air superiority.

However, the Silver Phoenix Knights must not be the ones to defeat the Rubel Clan. It must be accomplished by the giants. Otherwise, the giant clans will likely just fight another war for dominance.

Eru then explains his plan to the others.

Meanwhile, Addy has returned to the village to retrieve Sylprhine's ether reactor and asks to use the village facilities again. She launches a signal into the air giving the all clear and Edgar lands with the Adrilacumber along with the rest of the First Company.

The villagers look at the SKs with a loss of words. These are the SKs of legend, protectors of the people. The eldery mayor cries at being able to see this with his own eyes while he's still alive.

Edgar introduces himself and formally thank them for helping Eru/Addy, and notice that their village had recently been attacked. He orders the First Company to both patrol the area and assist with rebuilding the village, and to send word to the ship to send the necessary materials/supplies. Shortly after, troops wearing Silhouette Gears descend.

The villagers are shocked and can't keep up with whats happening.

In a few days, the village has been restored. There are also new facilities to house members of the First Company along with the proper blacksmithing faciltiies for SKs.

The Ikaruga is brought in to be rebuilt and inserted with the Sylphrine's reactor.

Addy tells Eru that the Ikaruga has been completed, though its current set in low-output mode. Eru tells her not to worry, he has ideas for it, but for now, get used to controlling it. Addy is happy she will be able to stay by Eru as soon as Ikaruga's completed.

A flag is raised in the village, the emblem of the Silver Phoenix Knights.

In the realm of demon beasts, in the middle of the Bocuse Sea of Trees, the map has quietly been re-painted.

The Frarium Clan of giants are currently hunting demon beasts. They are a small clan of giants living in the forest.

Like the other giant clans, they have kept silent about the Rubel Clan due to their control over the acid beasts, but what had happened the other day changed everything. The destruction of the Kaelleus Clan.

They notice something strange in the sky, something is gradually approaching them while releasing a ring of rainbow colored light. They prepare their weapons at this sudden intruder.

Pearl asks them if they are the Frarium Clan, and they are shocked that its the Kaelleus Clan, believing they had been wiped out. Pearl explains that they had suffered major casualties. They wonder what is the Kasasagi.

Pearl says that she needs to tell them something, and the giants are shocked by what they hear.

The various giant clans are scattered around the forest. They sometimes would meet up while hunting, but each clan more or less just keep to themselves.

Each clan received a message from the Frarium Clan to gather for a meeting.

At the meeting place, everyone is wondering what the meeting is about. The elder of the Frarium Clan tells them it is not their role to tell them the answers, to wait until the right time. Everyone is confused because they were the ones to request the meeting.

The Kaelleus Clan was destroyed due to their foolishness, and they are worried who will be next.

They look up at the sky at an approaching object emitting a rainbow ring of light.

Pearl introduces herself as the new elder of the Kaelleus Clan. Everyone is shocked because the had believed that the Kaelleus Clan had been destroyed by the acid beasts.

She asks the clans to band together, but they're afraid of the acid beasts and fear they cannot win.

She shows them the Kasasagi, who fires its vulcans into the sky. The giants are shocked and realises its not a flying demon beast, and wonders what it is.

Then, the Izumo appears along with the flying SKs, and the giants stare silently at the army in the sky.

Onboard the Izumo, everyone is hurrying around working.

Dee muses that they need to show off to the giants.

Boss is busy modifying the Guyalinda along with the rest of the Second Company with Flexible Coats.

Dee orders his team to drop down, and they jump off the Izumo.

The team deploys their new equipment, the Halo Coat, and the armor around their SKs spread like wings. But even wings would not normally be able to support the weight of an SK.

"Etheric Levitator, Start-Up!"

Rainbow light appears, and a weak levitation field is formed. Its won't let them fly, but its enough to slow down their descent speed. Its newly developed state-of-the-art equipment that allows an SK to descend from the air using a simplified levitator which has been miniaturized. (they're this close to making Aile Strike)

As the SKs start landing, the giants, shocked at the metal beings that just soared through the sky like a monster, are startled, some even arming themselves.

Dee asks Pearl to please introduce them.

Pearl introduces the giants to the warriors who can dance in the sky, who can fight the acid beasts. They are not of the giant clans, but Goblins (humans).

The clans start to talk amongst one another. One of them asks Pearl why they assoiate with the humans.

Pearl tells them that these people have triumphed over the acid beasts on many occasions, but the giants doesn't believe her. Despite seeing the ships and knights of the sky, they cannot believe they can match the acid beasts.

Guyalinde steps forward, and Dee tells them that they are good at hunting demon beasts.

Guyalinde's ether reactor starts powering up and the noise of air being sucked into the reactor rises. Its a challenge and the giants knows it. One of the giants steps forward to the challenge. Eru remembers a similar scene like this happening before.

But before Dee could start the brawl, a member of the Second Company asks him if he can step in instead. He's curious about the giants and wants to see how well they can fight. Dee asks Eru if this'll be alright. Eru replies saying go ahead, if worse comes to worse, they can just persuade them by firing silhouette arms from their ships. Dee retorts thats not really persuasion...

Kalangur steps forward, standing in front of him is the 5th largest giant of the Ather Clan.

Kalangur does the unexpected, he drops his sword, releases his back weapons, as well as detach the Halo Court. Gear falls onto the ground one after another.

Kalangur says he'll show him power. No weapons, lets fight hand-to-hand, any objections?

The giant tell him no, but he'll turn him into bean paste and also throw down his weapons.

They charge one another, and their fists collide.

They fight for a while, and members of the Second Company asks him why he's so good at hand-to-hand combat? Kalangur says that he's been practicing for when he loses his weapons. The others tells him to just train with his sword like usual, but Kalangur tells them a club would be more convenient, since its good vs heavy armor. The others start discussing about their weapon preferences, and someone tells them that they're being noisy.

The giants are strong, but the Kardetolle with excellent output and strand crystal tissue can match it.

The giants are cheering, watching the giant and steel knight clash with fists.

As they pound one another, they end up grappling one another with their fists. The giants muscle swells and the Kardetolle's reactor screams as it reaches full power. A test of might.

The giant is frustrated that he can't push Kalangur back, and the crystal tissues inside the SK glows and strengthing magic is activated. Kalangur is pushing back the giant.

The giant says its not the end, and suddenly loosens his grip. Kalangur loses his balance and steps back.

As expected, the giant steps forward and swings down his fist. Kalangur can't evade it and the blow strikes the shoulder of his SK. The armor is pierced and the crystal tissue inside cracks, the skeleton is damaged and the left arm hangs and can no longer be used.

The giant prepares to finish him, but Kalangur says its just an arm, he still got this.

The SKs are machines, even if one arm is destroyed, theres no effect on the rest of the body since it doesn't feel pain. The giants don't understand the difference between living things and machines.

Kalangur uppercuts the giant, hitting him in the chest. Its protected by armor, and Kalangur's fist is crushed by the impact, but the shock penetrates pass the armor.

The giant is stunned due to the impact, and Kalangur, both arms inoperable, unleashes a round-house kick catching the giant squarely on the head. The giant flies through the air and hits the ground, dust from blown soil obscures the view from everyone.

Everyone is silent and when the dust settles, they see that the giant is unconscious.

Kalangur proclaims his victory, and raises his broken arm in the air.

Pearl says that they have their answer. These people are courageous. The clans are excited and celebrate, some praying to their god. The Ather Clan are stunned at what happened, but accept the result. They carry the fallen giant to safety.

Dee says that was way too dangerous. The Second Squadron was prepared for a brawl. There was no certainty of victory, so in the worst case scenario, they were prepared for a rampage.

Members of the Second Company says that Kalangur's SK has been totalled, and he's hesitating to tell the boss. One of them says he should get a medal.

Pearl appears telling the Second Company that the clans has accepted them. They now believe that the knights of the sky can fight against the acid beasts. She looks up at the sky, at the Izumo as well as the flying SKs Tuediane. She knows how powerful they really are, and of the magic they wield. She turns, faces the clans and tells them that the Rubel Clan are moving, the time to rest is over, they must act now.

The clans tells Pearl that they will entrust the knights of the sky to defeat the acid beasts and that they will face their coming trials together.

As the Kaelleus Clan head west to the meetin site, the elderly giants remember a similar scene happening only once in the past. The time when the clans had gathered as one. They then see a flag made out of demon beast hide that indicates the clan that they belong to.

"Allied Clan Army"

They cannot believe their eyes and see Pearl descending along with the Kasasagi.

Pearl says their mission was a success. They cheer with delight.

The clans have finally become one. The giants head east to war.

The Rubel Clan receives reports that the allied clan army has begun to move.

The Rubel King wonders what triggered their action. They had previous remained quiet due to the threat of the acid beasts, and they had just made an example of the Kaelleus Clan the other day.

Despite the army marching over here, it won't change the plan. All it means is that they won't only be destroying the smaller clans.

However, the Rubel King wonders about the coincidence of the other clans joining forces, and wonders if there is someone leaking information to them.

The bond between clan members are absolute. It is extremely difficult to believe that members of the Rubel Clan would betray one another. Suspicion falls upon the humans.

They wonder if they are being betrayed by the humans, then that means that they won't have the power of the acid beasts in the coming battle.

The King doesn't feel like there is a problem with that. They are the Rubel Clan, the rulers of the giants. They will not need the acid beasts to win.

With that, the Rubel Clan marches onwards to face the incoming army.

As the allied clan army advances, the airships are flying slightly ahead. They are moving as slowly as possible so they do not lose sight of the giants on the ground.

As Eru looks down on the army of giants below, a report comes in from a reconnaissance unit.

A large giant army consisting of the Rubel Clan are up ahead. Nothing else are coming from their direction.

Dee asks Eru that if the acid beasts aren't coming, what will they do?

Eru says he'll have to figure that out later. For now, stand by and keep watch of the surroundings, and tells Pearl that he's heading to the ground.

Eru tells the army that the Rubel Clan are approaching them. The giants are asking if they've brought the acid beasts, but they are told they haven't been seen yet. He wonders if they are hidden somewhere, or Oberon was telling the truth.

The giants announce that if there are no acid beasts, then the time to fight is now.

A giant starts asking Eru something, and before he finishes, Eru tells him he understands, they'll fall back and keep an eye on the skies.

The giants wishes to settle this conflict amongst themselves, and Eru doesn't want the Silver Phoenix Knights involved in upcoming battle.

Eru returns to the Izumo onboard the Kasasagi and discusses about the situation with the rest of the Order. He tells the Second Company to expand their formation on the ground, to cover any gaps amongst the clans. They wonder if the acid beasts really won't be coming.

Dee looks at Zakaria, who from time to time is sending bugs into the air. The fact that there are no acid beasts seen is seen as Oberon keeping his word.

Eru tells them that Oberon has kept his promise, they must keep theirs. They're going to go find a nice place to go show off.

The Second Company lands and moves in conjunction with the clans. The flag of the Silver Phoenix Knights is raised to announce their presence.

The allied army heads through an opening amongst the trees, and before them is the Rubel Clan whose numbers are equal to their own.

Both sides acknowledge one another, neither can convince the other, and thus they charge to clash across the wasteland.

Dee and the Second Company watches the melee weapons, but the Kaelleus Clan are not charging in, rather than fan out and stand side by side.

They recoqnise the formation similar to SKs.

With a word, they unleash their silhouette arms, and culvern fire spells bombard the Rubel Clan. Despite this, the situation of the battle is becoming more and more clear.

The allied clans are slowly losing more and more ground. This is due to the Rubel Clan's better equipment as they are armed with metal weapons and armor derived from SKs.

Slowly the clans are forced to fall back, and a hole opens up in their lines.

The Rubel Clan charge through the gap, and suddenly a scarlet knight appears. Air Blades strikes the first giant, breakings his posture, and a swing of a sword later, the giant is slain.

The Rubel Clan are shocked to face an unfamiliar enemy and they hesitate.

As the Second Company charges in and pushes the Rubel Clan back, the allied clans shouts at one another to regain their courage and charges in.

Amongst the chaotic melee, the Rubel Clan are still superior, but those of the allied forces are fighting courageously.

Dee tells them to fall back once pressure has been relieved from the allied forces. Suddenly, a gigantic blast of flame torches the place where he was just before and explodes.

Its not silhouette arms, but the magic of the giants.

The Rubel Clan opens a gap and a incredibly large giant approaches. Its the Rubel King.

He recoqnizes the ancient armor that humans wear, and that the acid beasts hasn't showned up. They will pay for this betrayal.

Giant Mages appears from behind the Rubel King and prepares a spell. In terms of power, its more powerful than the Ikaruga's Sword Cannon.

As Dee orders the Second Company to counter-fire, fire from silhouette arms flew from the side and stop the Rubel King's chant.

An allied giant appears. He declares himself as the Champion of the Kaelleus Clan, Fortissimos Tashaas Occuris de Caelleus. For the revenge of his clan, he challenges the false king to a duel. The Rubel King refuses, but the Champion calls him a coward. The Rubel King pauses, and asks Dee if he'll interfere. Dee tells him he won't, because the Rubel King won't stand a chance against him.

The Rubel King wonders why everyone does not understand that they are the largest clan and possess the acid beasts. He brings prosperity and greatness to the giants. Why do they not want to follow him?

The Champion tells him that its not he who decides it.

The Champion and False King silently stares at one another. The Second Company quietly steps to the side. One on One.

With a shout, the Champion and False King charges one another at the same time.

As both giants charge one another, the Rubel King prepares a flame spell and swings his arm, throwing flame at the Champion. He responds by aiming his silhouette arms. The two flame blasts collide and explodes.

The Rubel King is shocked at this type of magic.

The Champion charges through the flames and unsheaths a sword that sparkles in the sunlight. It is not a weapon created by the giants, but something borrowed from the Silver Phoenix Knights.

Despite using an unfamiliar weapon, the Champion aims at the throat of the false king. Through practicing with Eru, he is learning how to use it.

A sharp sound is heard as a metal club parries the blade.

Armed with unknown weapons, the Rubel King wonders about their origin. He looks up at the ships in the sky and understands.

The Rubel King calls the allied clans fools that have discarded their pride to obey the word of humans.

The Champion tells the king that he too once looked down on these humans, but their strength is true and they are courageous.

Faced with blows that could kill any giant in a single blow, the Champion muses at the similar scene, at the tiny one not even reaching the height of his knee yet still overcoming him. That previous battle had taught him many things.

The Champion waits until the Rubel King makes a mistake and winds up for a large swing, and fires his silhouette arms at his face. At this distance its near impossible to evade.

The flame bullet hits the king, and his posture collapses.

The Champion attacks with his sword, but the Rubel King manages to parry it with his club in time and counter-attacks, knocking away the Champion's sword. Though he had lost his sword, he still has his silhouette arms.

With no hesitation, the Champion fires everything he has left at the false king. Flame bullets expldoe one after another, and the false king is enveloped in flames.

"Useless!"

The Rubel King repels the flame, and stas forward with his fist, and fires a thunder spell at the Champion. Lightning courses through the Champion's body, paralysing him.

The Rubel King walks up to the Champion, telling him that he's strong, and had fought well. The king swings down his club, but the Champion hasn't recovered enough to move.

Suddenly, an unknown voice is heard. The giants wonders who is interupting the duel and looks at their surroundings. They look up at the sky and points.

The Rubel King stops his swing and looks at the one who interupted his battle.

It is Oberon.

The Rubel King shouts at Oberon, demanding to know what he is doing.

A huge shadow covers the sky that is rapidly increasing in number.

Cretvastier, the acid beasts.

But the False King also sees something else.

Its not just acid beasts in the sky, but something else. The Rubel King opens his eye and shouts and Oberon for releasing "that".

However, the words of the false king is drowned out by the wings of the beast that is flying in the sky.

Meanwhile, the air fleet receives a report from a scout.

The scout informs them of something else amongst the acid beasts.

Eru wonders since the acid beasts has appeared, if it means that Oberon has failed or this was his plan all along.

Eru looks at the huge object flying amongst the acid beasts. Its an enormous demon beast, similar in size to the Behemoth. He has never seen such a huge object flying in the sky.

Eru asks Zakariah if he knew about this. He smiles and tells Eru to rest easy, they are not their enemies. They're just going to destroy the giants and secure the future for humans.

Eru considers his words and thinks.

On the ground, the Second Company sees the acid beasts starting to move out, and they do the same as well.

The acid beasts are approaching. The giants on the ground won't stand a chance.

Dee wonders why they came so late, and notes at the sheer number of acid beasts.

On the bridge of the Izumo, Eru tells everyone that they cannot let the attacks of the acid beasts reach the ground. He orders a defensive formation around the Izumo. The next move will be an important one, please be aware of the distance so the ships won't interfere with one another, and orders Wizard-Style SKs to deploy.

The ships get into formation, and Tuedine flying SKs head out to the front line.

Zakariah tells Eru that they're on the same side, they are not hostile, please do not attack the acid beasts.

Eru tells him all he sees are monsters, and that he cannot let the defenseless giants be massacared.

Acid Beasts start to fire at the giants. It hits the Rubel Clan as their weapons corrode and poisons their bodies.

Death swallows the giants.

The Rubel Clan were careless. They did not command the acid beasts, rather they command the ones who commands them.

The Rubel King yells at Oberon, asking him if he had forgotten the generosity of the giants.

The Champion tells the Rubel King to accept the truth, this is the result of believing they control the acid beasts. The Rubel King tells him to shut up, to be grateful that his life is spared.

With that, the Rubel King retreats back to his clan.

As the Champion stands up, Guyalinda approaches. The battle has ended and they help those that had been left behind.

Left behind, members of the Rubel Clan accepts aid from the allied army, and the battle shifts to a new scene.

*the narration cuts to an event that had happened earlier*

A mage of the Rubel Clan is walking in a cave alongside a warrior escort.

Its a cave large enough for the giants, but the cave does not look like it is a natural one and instead looks constructed.

Eventually it leads to a large opening, a majestic construct in an area enormous even by the standards of a giant.

The giant mage demands who is here, in the forbidden territory of the giants.

Oberon welcomes the giants.

The mage demands to know what he is doing. Why had the acid beasts not been deployed? The king is waiting. Are these tiny humans really so useless? Have they forgotten who had kept them alive all this time?

A human appears from the back of the building and whispers to the Oberon.

Oberon tells the mage that he apologises for the wait, but the ceremony has begun. The Necrolith Song is beginning.

Low groaning sounds are heard.

Its a series of unexplainable sounds that come from inside the building. It may be a song, but it cannot be described as one.

The ground shakes and rises around the building, it opens up like a lid.

Bugs start crawling from the hole. Its a huge bug with a dark red shell, an acid beast. The devil demon that is the enemy of all life in the forest.

Oberon raises his arm, and and men appears from the building.

Dressed in fine equipment, they are the ruling class called the aristocrats, or knights.

They head under the acid bugs, and the chest opens up.

Inside it are not the guts of a living being, but parts made of various materials including metal.

Its an unnatural form of life.

The knights enters the acid beasts belly.

Inside are seats where a human can fit. Control sticks and a holographic display.

Its the cockpit of a Silhouette Knight.

The belly closes and swallows the knight. The red beast starts to move.

It is the worst combination of human and demon.

Oberon shouts out,

"Mystic Beasts Calvalry! Awaken! The time has come!"

In response, the red beasts cries out...

The red beasts are singing. The voices are echoing in the space and sucked into the earth. The ground vibrates from the song.

Vibrations that seem small increases in scale and strength.

The ground opens up and things all crawl out.

Cretvastier, acid beasts.

One after another, countless beasts exit the open hole.

The cave is full of beasts.

Mystic Beast Calvalry

They open their wings and start flying, a unique tune plays.

Acid Beasts follows one after another. They are under the complete control of the Mystic Beast Calvalry.

The Rubel Clan giants, frowning at the sounds of the beasts, tells them to stop wasting time. The king is waiting.

The song is continuing.

The sound coming from the building does not stop even after the acid beasts flew away.

No, it is getting louder.

The cave shakes and the giants holds their heads due to their headache as they hear the song.

The mage asks Oberon what he's doing. Stop the song and let the beast sleep again.

But the song does not end. It gets louder and louder.

The giants fall on their knees.

They watch as the ground ruptures and in front of their bloodshot eyes they see the building collapse, and the earth rises.

While destroying the cave, "some thing" is beginning to float up.

The mage panicks and asks Oberon what he's doing, if this continues the "beast" will awaken.

In shock, the mage stares at what is moving in front of him. It is enormous.

In the dust cloud, cold eyes are looking down at the giants.

Oberon tells the mage that the giants are no longer necessary.

The mage says that the "beast" must never awaken. If it awakens, it will destroy the humans as well.

Oberon laughs, and says that he is different than his parents, he will not be the one being used.

The ground rips open and a huge limb erupts, crushing the body of the giant warrior effortlessly.

The mage attacks Oberon with fire magic, but they are blocked by giant limbs.

Oberon tells the giants to not worry, they will be the only ones to be eaten. They will feed this thing well.

The mage screams as a enormous limb turns him into paste.

The "beast" continues to escape from the earth, the cave is collapsing even faster, and finally the "beast" pierces the ceiling.

Everything in the area is buried from the descending soil.

Oberon laughs saying that he will soon regain everything.

The city is collapsing. The ground opens up and buildings collapses one after another. Even Phantom Beast Knights being serviced in the workshop has been reduced to dust.

The castle, the tallest building in the castle also collapses.

Everything is turning into dust and rubble.

A long limb appears from the smoke, its something so large it pierces through the thick dust surrounding what was the city. Rainbow colored lights appears and the "beast" starts to fly into the sky.

Acid Beasts gather around the "beast".

As earth and sand continues to flow down like a waterfall, the song is still singing. A melody of madness.

Eventually the "beast" starts to slowly advance, heading to the west. To the site of the great battle between the giants.

Oberon says out loud that the Rubel Clan, family members, and giants are all killing one another. Savages. They should lend them a hand.

People are gathered on a hill, a place far away. They're the former inhabitants of the former city.

They look at once was their home, wondering what they will do now. Their city was destroyed to unleash what was underneath it. They know they were at the mercy of the giants, but if Oberon cannot tame the "beast", they will all be eaten. They maintain faith that their King will return with a ship and patiently wait.

They watch the "beast" and acid beasts fly off into the distance, and pray for the time that will soon come where they can return home.

In a cloud of death, a giant spits out blood and falls.

It is a slaughter by the acid beasts.

Acid bullets hits the ground and bursts. It swallows the giants, and the number of dead increases.

The Rubel King shouts out and restores order. He tells Oberon that he is a fool to believe that he can control "that". Once it fully awakens, it will all be over.

The Rubel Clan looks up and sees "that". An existance as large as a city.

Oberon tells the Rubel King that he had wanted to give a proper goodbye. He tells the giants not to worry, the only ones who will perish will be giants.

A strange melody comes from the "beast". It spreads around the acid beasts. Immediately, they attack the Rubel Clan.

Oberon says goodbye to the Rubel King, telling him to suffer before he dies.

As the acid beasts attacks the giants, white mist wraps around the ground.

Oberon and the acid beasts cannot see the giants.

The Izumo appears.

The Izumo stops, and the acid beasts stops as well. Ship and Beast glare at once another in the sky.

Eru calls out to Oberon, knowing he is there.

Oberon happily welcomes Eru, apologising for the wait, but he managed to catch up.

On the Izumo, the crew is wondering what is happening. Eru continues to stare at the sky with an emotionless expression.

Boss is shocked that the humans of the forest are controlling demon beasts.

Eru tells Boss that Oberon did imply that they can control the acid beasts.

Eru tells Oberon that he's surprised at how he is controlling the acid beasts. Oberon tells him that his ancestors created and handed down. They are like demon beast horses. This is what allowed them to survive in the forest.

Eru narrows his eyes.

Oberon tells him that he wishes to go to the west, to the land where his ancestors were born.

Eru tells him that he understands the circumstances. He looks at the ground where the Second Company and the Kaelleus Clan are standing.

Eru says he will keep his promise, they will take the humans of the forest to Fremmevira.

Oberon happily laughs and thanks Eru for his understanding.

The bridge of the Izumo is silent. Not a murmer from anyone. Eru is putting a lot of force holding the communicator.

Eru tells Oberon that however, they cannot take the acid beasts back with them. They are far too dangerous and have to be destroyed. Eru will prepare a large enough ship for everyone, so lets destroy the acid beasts here and now.

Shocked, Oberon tells Eru that these beasts were left behind by their ancestors, they're strong and can be of help back home.

Eru understands that they've helped them so far, however, that is a demon beast, not a machine created by one's own hands. There is no guarantee that he can keep them in control in the future.

Oberon tells Eru that he wishes to stand hand in hand with the people of his old homeland, but he can't accept this.

Eru replies that Fremmevira are knights that specialize in killing demon beasts, the people will never be able to accept demon beasts living in their land.

On the Izumo, the crew members all make a silent agreement. They are ready to move at any time.

Oberon is saddened that they cannot come to an understanding, he has no other choice.

From the "beast", a twisted melody plays out.

Oberon says that even if its damaged a bit, as long as they can figure out how it works it'll be fine. He won't destroy everything, since he'll need a ship and directions.

The acid beasts advances.

Eru orders the Silver Phoenix Knights to intercept them, and the Izumo to turn around at full speed.

Already the Izumo activates its magi-jet thrusters and starts turning.

Acid beasts rushes towards the Izumo who is showing her belly.

Eru orders all Wizard-Style SKs to fire.

All along the side of the Izumo, SKs with Wizard-Style configuration deploys their silhouette arms and start firing. A barrage of fire erupts from the Izumo.

Cretvastiers make a scream while flying and fire out acid bullets.

Acid Bullets and Silhouette Arms fire collide, and explosions appear in the sky.

The firepower of the Izumo is enormous, but they're not fighting demon beasts, but fellow humans.

The acid beasts evade the incoming fire and spread out in groups.

One acid beasts approaches the Izumo ready to fire but is suddenly speared through by a spear fired out at high speed.

Its a flying knight. The Silver Phoenix Knights dances in the sky and engages the Cretvastiers.

On the ground, the giants are looking at the battle spreading out in the sky. Explosions and acid clouds mix together, the Izumo pouring fire out into the sky.

They wonder if this is a battle between humans. Its a sight they have never seen before.

War.

Pearl tells the giants to burn what they see in their eyes.

Magi-Jet Thrusters roars and a Tuediane fires its trident.

It spears through a Cretvastier. An acid cloud envelopes it.

The pilot counts his kills. Its the third one. Another pilot warns his teammate to move away from the acid cloud.

The once sunny sky is getting cloudy by the acid of the Cretvastier. Its gradually spreading. This is the most troubling abilty of an acid beast.

Oberon is overlooking the battlefield. They are taking more casualties than expected.

The flying knights are stopping the invasion of the acid beasts, steadily taking them down.

The Izumo is in the centre, and along with the other ships continues to pour fire in all directions.

Oberon marvels at the power of the country in the west. He remembers when he had first met Eru in the village and the time they spent in the city. Eru had announced himself as the head of a knight order. Oberon did not believe him at that time. He regrets they cannot come to an understanding.

Oberon realizes that the country of the west are used to fighting demon beasts. He realises that the two countries are similar yet different. They are forced to live together with demon beasts, whereas the country in the west abhords them and relies on machines instead.

Oberon says he cannot leave what his ancestors had entrusted to them behind, and orders the Mystic Beast Calvalry to raise the strength of the beasts.

The Cretvatiers respond, and the acid beasts change their behavior.

Rather than firing at the flying SKs, they instead fire around them to restrict their movements. One weakness of flying SKs is that they require a lot of room to manouver.

The Izumo is moving forward to cover them, blowing away the surrounding area with its firepower.

During the battle, acid beasts are falling back and returning to the "Beast", attaching to it and starting to rest. The "Beast" is acting like a mothership, resupplying them.

Eru is watching all this and understands what they have to do. If they can take out that "Beast", they'll win the war.

The Izumo is continuing its barrage, but the acid clouds aren't disappearing. They need to fall back to a safer area before the acid clouds spreads too much.

Silhouette Arms fire rip through the air, hitting the "Beast" from behind. Explosions ripple throughout the "Beast", and the Cretvastiers that had docked on it are blown off.

Oberon wonders where that attack came from, and realizes that Eru had hidden cards to play.

New particpants had appeared on the battlefield. A few airships appeared.

Eru says aloud that he did not divide the troops, they had been seperate the entire time.

At the head of the fleet, the Ikaruga is dancing around on the upper deck of the airship.

Addy complains that she had been following it from the city, and to get to Eru, she has to shoot them down.

Inside the Ikaruga's cockpit, Addy is sending commands to the Ikaruga using the keyboard.

Its Sword Cannon fires a blast of roaring flame. The spear of fire impacts on the "Beast", shaking the shell.

Flying SKs are also deploying.

Addy tells Ikaruga to head for Eru, and with a trail of flame ignites the magi-jet thrusters.

While in the air, wings expands on the Ikaruga. Its the Halo Coat armor. With its levitation field, and wings, it greatly expands on Ikaruga's flight capabilities.

Flying Knights follow the Ikaruga. Members of the First Company has entered the battle.

They attack the enemy's exposed back.

Edgar tells everyone to fall back as soon as they launch their attack.

Acid Beasts clinging to the "Beast" starts to lift off, intercepting the First Company, but were engulfed by an enormous blast of flame from the Ikaruga. Acid beasts are burned down one after another.

The First Company fires a barrage of spells, but they didn't even scratch the "Beast"'s shell. Demon Beasts above a certain size have enormous durability. The "Beast" is no exception.

Oberon is not worried when he realizes that Eru's forces doesn't have the firepower to injure the "Beast", but it'll be bad if too many acid beasts are destroyed. Another melody plays and orders are given to the "Beast".

Eru confirms the Ikaruga and First Company, and tells Boss he's heading out in the Kasasagi. Now that the Ikaruga is here, theres something he needs to do to turn this around.

Meanwhile, the Izumo and flying knights are fighting a retreating battle. Then, the "Beast" starts behaving differently.

Its shell suddenly starts cracking. It starts to open up.

A limb appears from the open gap. The "Beast" is stretching its body. Its raised shell extends like a wing. Inside there were microscopting wings that have gathered emitting a rainbow colored light. It lifts its head, its many eyes are dull and it reflects light.

The creature was enormous to begin with, but now its even larger.

The knights on the flying SKs are uncertain that they can defeat such a huge demon beast.

The battlefield, which has become quiet, the "Beast" starts to move. It travels along a rainbow colored light and it starts emitting a sound, playing a different song. The song increasing in pressure, affecting the entire battlefield.

Everyone clentches their head at the splitting headache caused by the song.

The movements of the flying SKs are becoming dull due to the pilots unable to properly control them. The Cretvastiers takes full advantage of this and fires acid bullets at them...

Edgar and the First Company are still determined to stop them, but they cannot pilot correctly due to the noise.

All of a sudden, a blast of flame lances into a beast and blows it up.

Its the Ikaruga, which is still operating. Addy tells him that its so noisy, but she can manage somehow. The monsters see Ikaruga as the greater threat and change targets.

Addy tries to fire, but she can't maintain accuracy with all this noise going on. She sees that the First Company has fallen back, and tries to fight back against the acid beasts but its difficult because Ikaruga right now is in low-power mode.

She charges right through the acid beasts to escape, but the Ikaruga starts falling due to the acid having destroyed the Halo Coat. Without the levitation field, it starts to fall down, and the magi-jet thrusters in low-power mode doesn't have enough power to lift it up. Syphrine's reactors aren't providing enough mana to sustain its consumption rate.

Addy is forced to adjust the propulsion and land. The acid beasts didn't miss this opportunity and rushes at the Ikaruga. They understand that the Ikaruga is the greatest threat on the battlefield.

Addy carefully manages what little mana Ikaruga has left and evades as best as she can, but is eventually cornered.

As a Cretvastier readies its aim and fires, and the acid bullet suddenly explodes without warning.

The sky is filled with silhouette arms fire. Each are small flame bullets with little power, but the volume of fire is so enormous that it shoots down every acid bullet approaching Ikaruga.

Addy is overjoyed at Eru who races towards her on the Kasasagi.

The Kasasagi is pouring fire on the acid beasts to keep them at bay.

Eru tells Addy to prepare for docking.

Addy wonders whats going on, as the Kasasagi flies up to the Ikaruga, collides it from behind and starts altering its frame.

Demon King VS Demon God

As the Kasasagi attaches itself to the Ikaruga via their sub-arms, it is tranforming into armor around it.

The Kasasagi resembles a half-built SK. Its true function is to give its flight ability to other SKs.

But Eru's goal is not just supporting Ikaruga.

"Let's get started. Both machines, path secured. Starting magical connection..."

Via the sub-arms, the crystal muscle inside them starts a magic circuit between them.

"Linking all ether reactors...sharing mana reserves...linking Magius Engines."

The Kasasagi's Behemoth Reactor is connected to the Ikaruga

Four ether reactors operating at maximum power.

The air roars around the Ikaruga, as each of the four reactors hungrily devourers the ether in the air and converting all of it into mana.

"Ether Ring Generator... Re-calculating output... Expanding range of effects!"

A torrent of mana erupts from the Ikaruga and flows into the ether ring generator of the Kasasagi.

For the very first time, the ether ring generator is operating at maximum power.

The rainbow-colored light is overflowing and fills the sky. On the feet of the Ikaruga, a rainbow-colored circle is being drawn one after another. Ikaruga is standing on the rainbow ring. No instability whatsoever.

"Checking output... equipment stability... linking all functions between Kasasagi and Ikaruga."

In the cockpit of the Kasasagi, Eru has full control of both SKs like they're his own limbs.

Eru hears a bizzare sound off in the distance and shakes away the pain in his head. He tells Addy that he'll fight alongside her as well. Addy tells Eru they will not lose to anyone.

Standing on top of the rainbow ring, Ikaruga is standing still in the sky.

The Cretvastiers attack the Ikaruga. Acid bullets explode in the air and spread to the sky. Ikaruga is swallowed by the acid cloud without any hinderance. There is nothing that can endure the acid release by the Cretvastiers. SKs which uses metal have no defense against it.

However, something strange occurs.

The atmosphere moves. Within the center of the acid cloud, the wind begins to swirl. The vortex expands. The space where there should only be death is transformed into an enormous vortex.

Eru muses that its easy if you think about it. Its a soluble body fluid. All they have to do is diffuse it.

Rainbow-Colored lights spreads out from the clouds.

The Kasasagi's moveable armor is emitting faintly. An enormous amount of mana is being poured through it creating a barrier of wind, the "Storm Coat".

A storm that blows away the acid clouds. The clouds of death can no longer reach them. The crests that Eru and villagers had tirelessly worked on are releasing their true ability now.

Accepting their next command, the acid beasts gives up using its acid bullets and instead charges at the Ikaruga. If the Storm Coat can protect it against the acid, what about if the clouds are blown off? The acid beasts can self-destruct and act as an acid-bomb.

Eru fires the Rahu Fists. They fly into the air and aim down. A lightning storm appears surrounding the Ikaruga.

"Thunder Curtain"

Its the same spell used by the Wyvern Battleship.

Lightning strikes the acid beasts wihtout mercy. Each time lightning strikes, acid beasts explodes. Nothing can approach the Ikaruga.

Eru watches the destruction, and christens the Ikaruga with a new name.

Magatsu-Ikaruga

Igniting its Magi-Jet Thrusters, with a rainbow and a storm, Demon God Magatsu-Ikaruga soars into the sky.

Acid beasts from all around them change their target to the Magatsu-Ikaruga.

Eru tells Addy that everyone should be able to take this, so lets act a little violently. Lets destroy as much as possible.

Magatsu-Ikaruga charges at the acid beasts, who are firing acid bullets the entire time. Bullet after bullet hits the Magatsu-Ikaruga, but they are all repelled by the scattered storm and are useless.

Addy tells Eru that the Storm Coat is doing okay. Eru thanks her and aims the Sword Cannon and fires at point blank range, annahilating a number of acid beasts.

Thunder shakes the sky, and countless acid beasts fall one after another. They break apart into acid clouds, but that doesn't matter as the storm of the demon blows it all away entirely.

Magatsu-Ikaruga is continuing its assault relentlessly without rest.

Oberon is wondering if thats a Silhouette Knight, and wonders if a monster like it can even exist in the world.

While desperately to comprehend the situation, a voice suddenly comes from somewhere.

Its asking Oberon to let him move. Oberon muses if he strengthens the song of destruction further, and says that the West doesn't seem to want to accept them easily, so they'll have to defeat them and go to the West, to their homeland.

Oberon has made his decision and sits down on his seat. An enormous sound echoes.

Magatsu-Ikaruga stops, watching the surrounding acid beasts suddenly alter their movements.

Eru says they consider them a considerable threat, and Addy tells him that she doesn't know how many monsters the Storm Armor took down.

A demon is standing on a floating rainbow ring. The many eyes of the "Beast" are looking down, starring at the Magatsu-Ikaruga.

"Oberon, is this your trump card?"

A voice is heard from inside the "Beast".

It is Oberon. He welcomes Eru telling him that although the shape is different, he is familiar at controlling it. He tells Eru that he's sad that they've become enemies, but he has to defeat him here and now and open the way.

The song of the "Beast" is getting louder.

The "Beast" is firing waves of pressure at the Magatsu-Ikaruga. Its rainbow ring is shaking.

The demon who obliterated countless other demons slightly staggered for the first time. The rainbow ring is shaking and the levitation field is becoming unstable. The more the "Beast" approaches, the worse its becoming.

Addy is holding her head and telling Eru that the Ikaruga isn't functioning well. Magatsu-Ikaruga is losing its strength.

The "Beast" is moving closer, countless stretched limbs is approaching the Magatsu-Ikaruga.

Oberon tells Eru to bow down at the supreme power that cannot be resisted.

Long limbs approach the SK. Its enormous. The Storm Armor won't be of any use and the Magatsu-Ikaruga would be destroyed.

Oberon tells everyone to kneel before him, because he is the king, the king of the demons. The Demon King.

The "Beast" swings down its limb. Magatsu-Ikaruga evades at the last moment but the response isn't very good.

"Magius Engine interference... Control System, Magic flow, magi-jet thrusters, atmospheric operation..."

Eru's eyes are half-closed and speaks as though he is meditating. His full calculative ability is being poured into diagnosing the Magatsu-Ikaruga.

Oberon is shocked that Eru can still move, and wonders if anything in this world cannot hear the song of destruction, and attacks Magatsu-Ikaruga again.

Magatsu-Ikaruga fires its Sword Cannon, and repels the attack, shaking the "Beast" on impact.

The song is distrupted, and all flying SKs regain their functions, including the Magatsu-Ikaruga.

Addy is glad that the annoying headache is gone, and Eru analyses that the "Beast" can only use the song for a short time.

Magatsu-Ikaruga has returned to full power, and attacks the Demon King.

Oberon has the "Beast" cast a spell, and numerous fireballs fire at the Magatsu-Ikaruga. A wall of flames approaches it.

Magatsu-Ikaruga dodges them all with careful manipulation of its thrusters. Then, the surrounding air emits an enormous pressure, forcing it to fall back.

Glaring at the Demon King as it extends its many limbs, emotionless eyes starring. The song of destruction is gone, but it can use magic attacks.

Looking at the enormous beast, Eru thinks to himself that while demon beasts can use magic, they're limited to just one or two basic spells as they don't have the intelligence to create more. Demon beasts can use multiple spells are unheard of. He wonders if Oberon is somehow controlling the enormous magical abilities of a demon beast with human intelligence.

"This could be troublesome".

Eru thinks to himself as he stares at the giant covering the sky.

The super gigantic monster, "Devil" is starting to move. Its covering the world with its shadow.

It fires countless spell blasts into the air. The "Devil" is able to fire them from all of its limbs.

Magatsu-Ikaruga ignites its magi-jet thrusters and dives through the storm of bullets. It draws the Sword Cannon and fires a blast at the Demon King, but it impacts on one of the "Devil"'s bullets and explodes.

Eru and Addy stares at the "Devil" through their holo monitor. There must be a weakness or vital point somewhere, but at this rate, it'll be near impossible to attack it through this fire storm. They decide to wait to see what the "Devil" will do.

Oberon is frustrated that he can't take down the Magatsu-Ikaruga. He knows he has to take down Eru here and now, otherwise he'll be a thorn later on. However, he doesn't see the Magatsu-Ikaruga as a threat, and decides to focus on other things.

The "Devil" is moving away from the Magatsu-Ikaruga, though its still continuously firing at it.

Eru is wondering where its going, and guesses that its heading towards the Izumo and the acid beasts.

Eru launches signal shots into the sky. Its giving the Izumo orders for full reverse. The Izumo repeats the order to the fleet.

However, the Izumo while moving backwards cannot bear forth its full firepower due to angle of elevation.

An acid beast flies towards it trying to attack its blind spot, and fires an acid bullet.

Each of the new independent Orders will be regarded as a suboridinate of the Silver Phoenix Knights. Each Company that currently only consists of a few SKs will become the size of an Order and greatly increase in size.

The Silver Phoenix Knights will become a group with Eru as the Grand Knight Leader. It will become a heirarchial structure consisting of multiple Knight Orders.

The King tells Eru that in the time that he was missing, the kingdom had changed a lot. SKs had been strengthened, airships and flying SKs, time gone by without pause. And now with the giants and the survivors of the expeditionary army, the role of the Silver Phoenix Knights will become ever larger. He tells Eru that the baby chicks had nested under the wings of the Silver Phoenix, but they've grown up and its now time to let them go.

The new blacksmiths are stunned at the living, talking being thats as large as an SK.

The giant introduces himself as Bokusu and that he's here to visit their country.

Eru tells them that its all still being kept a secret from the citizens, so in order to go outside they're going to disguise themselves as SKs

Bokusu thanks the members of Eru's clan for their efforts.

Naturally she accepts and a large wedding is held in the capital I believe for everyone to see. Family shows up and when Ernie sees Addy in her wedding dress I believe he complemented her like a silhouette knight or something along those lines and happily ever after... just kidding. From what I remember afterwards Addy's brother goes missing since a island is found floating in the sky and Ernie and Abby go to look for him and the prince during what was supposed to be there honeymoon.

I don't mean to be that guy, but for a young girl, Addy has ahem... noticeable assets. I am happy to see though that we've finally reached that point in the light novel. Now as for the possibility of space capable silhouette knights, the idea of such a machine is interesting. I'm not against the idea but I also don't support it as the world is currently stuck in a era of medieval days sort of but with magic and giant robots. I already know what people would say, "It is fantasy" and I agree with whoever you are but there would need to be valid reason for why Ernie wants to spread his wings out into space. The possibilities are endless and I am hoping to see a war amongst Warring nations against once danger beats begin to start losing relevance.

So, its likely that MC was around 18-20 years old, when he got married (during the Events of LN v09).

If i go by and compare as to what was written in the "Spec" of Ikaruga in LN v04 and with that of Toybox-Mark2 "Spec".

Then "No", it doesn't seem like Toybox-Mark2 has Sworded/Sword Cannon.

But it does have Rough-Fist (there is another thing called "Burning Fist"). It seems to lack Magius Jet Thrusters, but its has a different propulsion system in limited form called Limited Storm Coat (probably based on the tech he developed during the previous arc). Other things it includes are "Blast Reverser", "Armour Edge" and "Jack-in-the-box​". Not sure what they all do.

From how things are, i get the feeling that Toybox-Mark2 is more similar to Syrphirne or Syrphirne-Kasasagi-3rd, than to Ikaruga.

Author subverted all the common tropes found in isekai webnovels by not raising any flags between Eru and the princess. That was a bold move, if this was any other novel the MC would have at least five girls in his harem at this point.

Though truthfully, majority of Heroine's in Shounen Manga's are like that, aka., if you remove their affection for MC, then there isn't much left of them.

The problem with Addy is that, while she is supposed to be around 18-19 years old physically when she marries, she is still like a 11-12 year old girl mentally. This is more of the Author's fault than the plots, because he/she wanted to keep MC as a young cute androgynous kid even-though he is nearing 20 years of age, so paired him with a similar mentality girl.

Hm, let's see here. Addy is a very emotional girl, she is more likely to think with her heart than her head. She values the health and mental stability of her brethren over their goals, but does not make a fuss about this sort of thing unless people are going too far or are placed in danger.

She has some sense of justice, like when she got mad about the princess being forced to marry. She clearly likes cute things, and that goes beyond just Eru. She thought the princess was cute and that giant sorceress, also the harpies in the raws. She is very quick to make friends, being instantly on friendly terms with anyone who isnt antagonistic towards her. She for example didnt think ill of Nora when she became suspicious about her meetings with Eru even though it bothered her.

And above all, she is fiercely loyal. The sort of loyalty she has towards Eru is rare, if anything Eru picking her as his wife may have come from that. Eru likely became aware of that after she almost sacrificed herself and sacrificed her mech in order to save him when everyone else took his order and left.

There is more to Addy than just her crush on Eru, at least thats what I see.

Exactly, she's the only one left who's close enough to him; plus author never introduced any other girls to fall into Ernesti's orbit.

Stefania got written out, Nora's just a subordinate, Helvi's into Edgar, and Eleonora fell for Archid.

I'm guessing to help flesh out Rayearth, since I'm guessing that Rayearth and K&M will take place in the same world.

I am surprised that they didn't include Dunbine though, since it'll be one of the rare opportunities to full adapt the series rather than just having it take place in the second half and it can also exist in the same world as Rayearth / K&M and give Eru a nice cross series rivalry with Shot Weapon in mecha design.

I wonder, if we would get Season 2 for this Series, once the Manga reaches the end of the "Western Grand Storm" (which i believe would probably take another 10-15 chapters), considering the fact that even though LN releases are slow along with slow flow of Manga plot, the series seems to still be quite popular in Japan.
And Robot Anime's do tend to get multiple season more easily.

I can see Eru and Ryusei become a duo in SRW30 lmao. Just realize now that with SRX in 30 we could see these two mecha nerd go crazy over the sight of every mecha in the game
