Started in 2003 Tenchi Muyo GXP is a retelling of the the anime of the same name by Masaki Kajishima, one of the original creators of the first Tenchi Muyo series, in greater detail and how he envisioned the series to be. Currently the series is on its 10th volume and if equated to anime would be around episode 17ish. As for major differences compared to the anime the NB character is almost non existent and the cast from the Tenchi Muyo series play a slightly larger role or at least show up more often.

I loved the anime :D it actually got a true harem end, when the original keep getting remakes and shit.

Actually the original author of this and the OVAs has been releasing side information since the second OVA that has confirmed Tenchi will end as a true harem the last few years have been about about the lives of Tenchi's daughters and Seina 's sons.Tenchi is also confirm ed to have at least one son but it isn't stated who the mother is but given his red spikey hair it's likely Washu but Ryoko is still a possibility .

The older 6 have even made appearances in some of the books giving more background on Isekai although the triplets are labeled as being crystals since information had not been released about them at the time.

I'm not sure the GXP novel series has ended while volume 14 is where the show ended it was only released on 4/20 and from what I can tell it's not stated to be the end.
Oh and there is an other LN series related to Tenchi called Paradise War

Finally finished reading the two volumes.
The basic story line is the same except for he picks up another girl on the planet. The robot actually had a name, "ZINV" and also had an AI which has an astral soul. The robot and the AI named D is 3 billion years old but D loves curry rice and spaghetti.
The three clones of Fuku is implanted with an astral soul with their memories intact, one being D.
The robot is speculated as the original archy type of what Renza republic worships.

As for a second arc picking off from the end of the anime I believe it will happen. It seems as if GXP is the bridge between the original Tenchi Muyo! stories and Isekai no Seikishi. I also believe the next installment of Tenchi Muyo! OVAs are the jump board in connecting the two.

Not the same being but an alternate version of her they also brought in a bunch of others from the series from the illustrations there might be some summaris of volume 13 on uselesstenchi.org

There is already a bridge for Isekai no Seikishi. Omatsuri Zenjitsu no Yoru Tenchi Ban 13.08 and 13.12 explain everything why Reia crossed over all about Kenshi's training for when her was going to be sent over.

If anything hopefully OVA 4 will link a bit more into MK 's latest Tenchi works the Tenchi if books that deal with his and Seina's kids and Paradise War were Seina makes a Cameo.

Basically they author is setting up the stage for the Renza Union arc changing the dynamism of the cast so Kajishima can pursue further character development of Seina and others.

"]As the four maids makes it to Renza Union territory they dock into the recreational planet "Receipcsy" where Kiroko, Amane, Ryoko and, Nejyu catches up with them on Kamitake. The two groups are isolated from one another and from Seina. At that point we find that the four maids are actually royalties, candidates next in line to the thrown with their other siblings. They also find that Renza Union is comprised of five dominating clans and the four are representatives of each clan, with another clan, Kaon clan that did not participate in the infiltration plan. There original objective was to steal a third or older generation Jurai tree to use against their fight against pirates which they thought it would take centuries to accomplish but was able to kidnap Seina and Zinv, revered as a god within their Union within matter of a few years.
On the other hand Kiriko and gang are illegal aliens within Renza union where their only safe harbor is within "Receipcsy".
Seina is recruited to set course for an armada against the pirates much like he had been doing within the Galaxy federation only this time he has a new crew and separated from Kiriko and gang.
There on, one wrong turn leads to the next with Seina special ability of bad luck finding himself crash landing on a planet alone and the only way to return is to trek 200 Km through a forest filled with goblins, orggs and other fantasy beasts to the space port on that planet to find an ally so he can get off the planet.

Can't wait to read the next volume.:D

By the way, The blond elf on the left is a he. :heh:
The silver haired female is a Dryas　both belonging to the Renza Union joint military belonging to Suiren's experimental fleet, the elf is the fleet commander and Dryas is Captain of the flag ship.

It's yet another alternate dimension made by the Choujin to find the being that exists above themselves (Tenchi-kami) but many of the people there have counterparts in the TM universe. Ironically Ken and Hiroshi switch names in TM universe.

They are reincarnations of the dual cast because it was another alternate dimension made by the Choujin after all Kazuki is a reincarnation of Zinv since in his world it was destroyed. As for the seeds it seems that that was touched on a bit in Goodbye 21st Century, they were given to the founders of the Great Precursor civilization which seems to be mentioned in multiple of the universes (TM, Dual, AR, and maybe Geminar as it seems to have a lot on common with the one in Dual) after Tsunami killed the B1, the last of the Washu clones that was trying to kill the imprisoned Washu. The early gen trees are also somewhat higher dimensional beings which could allow them to exist in more then one dimension simultaneously.

I'm hoping sales of the True Tenchi Muyo! novels are good enough so that Seven Seas is tempted to license the GXP novels. That aside, I need to get versed in the GXP novel content.
