View Full Version : DICE: The Cube that Changes Everything (Manhwa)
Was actually impressed that no one started a thread on this.

Dunno if this link up here will become an actual image (kinda new here)
Anyway...
Author and artist: Yun Hyun Seok.
Dongtae is rock bottom in everything.
Looks, grades, life, everything.
But all that might change.
If you could change your life by playing a game, would you?
The story, without putting spoilers, is more like this: Do you know ``The Gamer``? Trade comedy for tragedy.
There is this sort of ``game of life`` going around, and due to it, you can change yourself with the points. Looks, smarts, luck, everything can be changed. However, an interesting concept is of the quests and the G.M. behind them, which adds a faustic theme along with ``a deal with the devil``.
43 chapters translated already. Personally, I think that in order to judge the story, someone has to read until chapter 16, it`s the turning point of the story and even has a BGM.
So this series finally gets its thread, huh? To be honest I planned to make one for this series, but since not many people pay attention to Manhwa's I sort of just ignored making one. After the way Orange Marmalade ended I sort of got turned off from Manhwa's, but Dice pretty much recaptured my faith in them. I just hope this series gets the attention and general interests it deserves because it warrants it.
I've read the translated chapters for 43, but I've seen the raws and they're at 54 chapters right now. So in terms of where translations go we're 11 chapters behind. All right. I may be weak in Korean, but like I did with Orange Marmalade I'll give my summary on the raws on a weekly basis.
Anyways...
Dice pandemonium is currently at hand. I wonder if this means other dicers will start their own gangs or clique in the near future.
Dong Tae's theory on why he's getting less quests must be him reaching a point where obtaining Dice is not much of an necessity to him. Makes sense since he looks better, he's very strong, plus an top rank dicer with time stopping abilities.
I wonder if there's more to Taebin since he has something of a bad or not tragic bad story.
Hmm, batoto is down with all manhwa and naver`s official translation is slow as hell...
Either way, lonemanga.com translated until 49
dicescans.blogspot.com translated until 51
I keep forgetting to update this series. It's sad that no one pays attention or cares about it. Anyhoo, I'm here to announce that S1 of this series is over in the Korean raws. So much does happen from chapters 51-62, if what you're saying Lord C in terms of currently translated chapters, we've got 11 more to go to end S1. If you're interested I could do a summary from chapters 51-62. I'm learning a bit of Korean, but I still suck at it, but I think I could manage based off imagery and what I could take in terms of text.
Let me tell you, things get so trippy and it sucks that the author is taking a 4 week break. We won't see a new raw chapter until mid September at best...sadly!:(

I'm interested in that summary. I just viewed those raws today, man it gets intense real fast, in a lot of places. Did Dongtae finally give up eunju? The video game analogy was funny, because it's exactly how she's been thought of by a lot of the fandom.
Quality aside, things got serious in the last chapter translatedhttp://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cTVuPtke-68/U_KyjhFA2KI/AAAAAAAAAS0/zhkgdwcmFmk/s1600/d42.jpghttp://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8ReGkRWtZwY/U_Kyj-A0JhI/AAAAAAAAAS4/-Ox_GxHbVRw/s1600/d45.jpg

Sorry for the late reply, anonfr. Been too busy with Tales of Xillia 2 and UNIEL to make a post the summaries I mentioned. Well, either you're still interested or not I'm going to post them now. So let's get started...
Ahem:
This summary summarizes the events of chapters 50-62 leading the to end of S1 of this series. These events will lead up to how S2 of this series will potentally play out. Enough dragging on, let's get started.
Ahem:
At the train station Dongtae learns that he's been betrayed by his guild members and they attempt to kill him as a result. Despite the overwhelming numbers and having no dice to use Time Pause, Dongtae is still able to defeat them. During the fight X (speaking through the stations intercom since Dongtae's phone is broken) grants Dongtae dice rewards if he's able to defeat is old guild members in battle and was able to succeed in doing so.
During Mio's outing (while waiting for Dongtae to contact her) she enters a fortune tellers tent and learns about the Tower Arcana and the Tower of Babel. These, however, relate to what X is planning, but I don't know how or why. To make this interesting...Biblical themes are somewhat present during this series, in case anyone never picked up on it.
After dispatching his old guild members he learns of the new special dice which increases a Dicers abilities, and X will plan something once the number of A Rank Dicers exceed a certain limit. Moonyoung watching the events through the stations security system and tells Dongtae about the next stage about the dice (which is oddly censored and isn't revealed until chapter 62, but will get to in a second). He escapes via Teleportation and from a spoiler I've been told it's said that Moonyoung and Dongtae are acquaintances...interesting.
After the events at the station, Dongtae is heading towards the concert hall only to be dejected in not being able to help Eunju get the other choir members who ditched (because of dice and quests) to come and participate in the event. Eunju reveals that it's she who asked Taebin out and not him, and this news surprises and upsets him, but doesn't show it. She sees blood on Dongtae's shirt and worries, but Dongtae being upset and confused accidently pushes her away which ends up with her falling on the ground. Realizing what he had done, he uses Time Pause and leaves the park where the concert hall was being held guilty and upset.
While walking home in ends up running into a very upset Mio who attacks him for standing her up and leaving her alone throughout the day. Dongtae makes it up to her by agreeing to hang out at his place for the night, and with that being said Mio can start to complete her quest from X to spend the day with him.
So they start their date and during their time together Mio learns of the events Dongtae's been through earlier in the day, and the special dice she accidently found in the clothes he wore that day. She cooks, they talk, and play games and during those times she kisses him on the cheek and things between the two get more awkward. Mio starts to tease and seduce Dongtae but the latter heads to the roof to cool his head. He starts to thing of Eunju and gets depressed again. Mio follows him there only to tease him about the cute shark underwear he has hung up. He chases her and falls down on top of her (Rito Yuuki lvl 1 style:eyespin:) and the mood between them get more awkward and intimate. Dongtae ends up destroying the moment which results in Mio beating the crap out of him.:heh:
When morning hits Mio leaves the roof and goes to check her phone, only to see that her quest had been complete and becomes an A Rank Dicer. She accidently rolls the dice after Dongtae surprises her by following to see what's wrong. She quickly hides the dice in her pocket and the side she lands on is the "Eye" symbol. I don't remember the term for the "Eye" in terms of ability, but let's call it the "All Seeing Eye" for now.
With the date officially over Dongtae escorts Mio home partway and she leaves not telling Dongtae she became an A Rank Dicer. Once Dongtae returns home after seeing Mio off, he gets another big announcement from X (via computer monitor cause remember his phone is broken and it's generally the main tool of communication with X) regarding the dice game and that the number of A Rank Dicers have all reached 16. So that means, it's time to change the rules. The next stage of the game is a PvP (Player vs Player) battle royale/survival system where Dicers put their dices and careers as Dicers on the line.
Moonyoung demonstrates this by attacking a female Dicer and takes her dice, turning the girl into the person she was before she used Dice. He then takes the Psychokinesis ability from Dongtae's old guild member and turns him back into what he originally was pre-dice. With that Moonyoung has the Teleportation, Time Pause, and Psychokinesis ability. He also mentions that if he can gain the other 3 (Flight, Invisibility, the All Seeing Eye) he can challenge X again...
X tells Dongtae that the next stage of the game can give a Dicer the ability to change the world.
At home. Mio tests out her All Seeing Eye ability. Her ability allows her to obtain info on people and things just by observing them. Her ability also grants her the chance to see how much dice a Dicer has, their abilities, Rank, and how they were pre-dice. Mio looks at herself in the mirror and sees the fat, hideous self she despises.
At home Eunju gets a text from Taebin, asking her if she's available to meet sometime.
And with that. The summary and events of S1 finally ends.
Phew. It took some doing but I'm glad I was able to get this done. Note: That the notes that I've bolded were summaries I've found by people sharing them. The rest were me using imagery and understanding of the situation. So, anyone following this thread. What do you think? It sucks that we have to wait until mid-September to see the start of S2, but for now all we can do now is wait.
I've done my part. Like I said, hope you all enjoy the summary I put up for you guys!:)

Nice to see this thread getting a little love. I was meaning to do some chapter summaries, but if you guys are interested let me know. It's really great to see the Dice scanlators picking up the space with the start of S2. Only 2 more chapters to translate from the current raws and we're all caught up. So close already...

@Kirito If you don't mind could you post some thing each known A-Ranker's abilities?
Sure no problem...
In the Dice game there are 6 A Ranked abilities. They are as of now:
1. Time Pause (Dongtae and Mooyoung)
2. Psychokinesis (The guy who got pummeled and got his orange dice taken)
3. Flight/Levitation (One of Dongtae's old guild members who betrayed him in S1)
4. Teleportation (Taebin and Mooyoung)
5. Invisibility (One of the bully who harassed Dongtae in the beginning)
6. All Seeing Eye (Don't remember the proper name but calling it that since it's simpler) (Mio)
So far the 7 I've listed have their abilities and their rank shown. That's all I know for now, but I will keep you guys updated on the new comers abilities.

Taebin could have one more A-rank ability, the one that allows him to recover his physical strength in exchange for dice, shown in the Eunju game.

^That is something you can do if you have dices to burn. Anyone can do it, A-rank are qualify only with the golden dice abilities.
Okay guys. I just looked at the current Dice raw (chapter 66 to be exact) and I'm really interested in the concept and development regarding the abilities A Rankers can obtain.
I'm sure you guys probably guessed it, but looks like A Rank abilities can be developed and leveled similar to a skill map or tree in MMO and RPGs. In this current raw episode Taebin has a teleportation skill known as Auto Dodge. How it works I can't really make out because my Korean is really week, but if I'm correct when someone comes in contact with him within 2 meters his teleportation skill we activate and dodge on his own to escape and change the situation to his benefit. And during a diagram it's shown that the 6 A Rank abilities:
1. Time Pause
2. Teleportation
3. All Seeing Eye
4. Flight
5. Psychokinesis
6. Invisibility
Can be leveled and raised up either through dice or combat. I don't know but it shows that there are more ways an A Ranker can use their abilities, but it's still capped off to name a few. To put it bluntly, Dongtae only knows time pause but nothing else beyond that. While Taebin can teleport and auto dodge making him more versatile and dangerous.
The second season of this series is really starting to pick up at interesting points. I really hope to see Eunju's backstory because she's not really liked among the Dice fanbase.
Hey guys following this series. I'm here to announce that chapter 66 has been scanlated and uploaded on the series translating team site.
Okay. I'm here to announce that all of season 1 chapters and the current chapters of season 2 have all been scanlated and released! We're all caught up guys. Now we have to wait for the next update after this week's raw release.

Somehow, I find Eunju annoying...and at the same time I don't...Anyway, I wonder what Time Stop's other abilities are.
Somehow, I find Eunju annoying...and at the same time I don't...Anyway, I wonder what Time Stop's other abilities are.
I would guess something that forces the pause within one meter or so, like Taebin. Or maybe only slowing time for a few seconds without affecting the user.
BTW dicescans released chapter 74 and the raws got a new chapter with BGM
Finally caught up after they took off the scanlations from batoto. It's getting pretty epic.
Looks like the translator released another ost chapter. Damn, the feels...

Soi just a question: Dongtae has reverted to his old self. Did he also loose the abilities? Or just nearly all of his dice? Because one of the old Dicers survived the battle against X but she lost her ability dice so I am wondering if it is the same for him too
You ask and I shall delivery. To whomever will be reading this I suggest you get a drink or some snacks ready because this is going to be one long summary that will cover both S2 and S3 of Dice separately in pure detail. As I said before: Grab some snacks and some drinks...and without further ado let's get started.
Ahem:
Before we start the summary let's recap. X explained last season that now that specific Dicers who possess the 7 A ranked abilities have come together. The rules of the game have been updated and the PvP system has been put into place. The rules state that one Dicer will gain the final die and with it they can change the world as they see fit.
Now let's get into the summary proper.
S2 begins with Dongtae slowly taking in the news of this new rules and system into place. It's been discovered that Mio and Eunju are not at school that day. He sees Taebin only to find out that he broke up with Eunju. Dongtae is upset about this and he and Taebin have a fight on the school grounds. Dongtae tries to Time Pause but Taebin uses Teleportation to counter its effects and succeeding in doing so.
It's revealed that there a shop for Dicers to buy specific abilities and items to help them turn the tides in battle and to get stronger. Also it's revealed that A rankers are given a skill tree or map to help further their powers and abilities. Taebin enhances his teleportation abilities to counter Time Pause which is said to be the strongest out of the 7 A ranked abilities.
Things look helpless for Dongtae, but he decides to use Taebins own abilities again him. Dongtae was quick to turn the tables and Taebin is defeated. Taebin still a bit upset that he lost and tells Dongtae that he needs to get stronger to counter a big threat. The threat being Moon Young. Taebin finally shares his back story of his days before a Dicer, him meeting Moon Young, becoming a Dicer, and the tragedy that occurred with him and his past friends.
Taebin after meeting Moon Young and becoming a Dicer started a Dicers group. The group were composed of friends (Keeps Taebin's friends in mind because this will be very relevant later in the summary)who wanted to research dice and the person or entity that created it. Things go well at first but later after one of Taebin's old friend tried to see Clairvoyance to see into a mysterious cube like structure and could say it could be X's lair of sorts. Moon Young attacks the other A rankers and takes their A rank die as he kills them. Taebin being hurt and betrayed finally summons his A rank die which is Teleportation and was urged by his allies to leave them behind and to save himself. Taebin sees Moon Young being transported into a eye like gate and the flashback ends.
Meanwhile Eunju who's still hurt by being broken up by Taebin is at a local park recapping her date a day or two prior. Eunju and Taebin were at a food chain talking and Taebin ends up seeing an image of Moon Young and he frantically leaves the store with her in tow. He decides to break up with her then and there and leaves a baffled but confused Eunju at the scene. Now back to the present she encounters a couple of her classmates who are Dicers and the two Dicers end up having a deadly fight which Eunju is powerless to stop. The fights ends with a Dicer being lifted into the air and falling to her death and all Eunju could do is watch in horror as it happens. After the fight the A ranker with the Flight abilities surcomes to his wounds and dies after falling from a high altitude. The students watch and try to take the dead Dicer's dice, but Mr. Kim a teacher sees the A rank Flight die and takes it for himself. An act that even X is pretty surprised about (through text of course).
Now on to Dongtae who goes to visit Mio at her home the day after they had their sleepover. Mio is scared to see Dongtae because she think Dongtae is upset that she used him to get to A rank. Dongtae tells her that's not the case and to assure her that things are okay between them he suggest going to the amusement park together. Mio is thrilled but gets upset when she sees Dongtae's parameters that he likes both her and Eunju proceeds to beat the crap out of him. He prepares to leave, but Mio suggests to come in and stay for dinner (:naughty:). Of course he gets too embarrassed and declines her offer much to her disappointment. Mio tells Dongtae she will use her Clairvoyance to help him and Dongtae decides he will protect her from other Dicers since her abilities can be a threat to them. As he leaves a Dicer starts to follow Dongtae and only to discover that his name his Che-Hyun. He's a junior at Dongtae's school and used to be very fat, but got slimmer due to the power of Dice (Note Che-Hyun A rank ability(ies) have never been made clear for both seasons. Just letting you readers know).
The teacher Mr. Kim ends up becoming a Dicer by accident, and a suspicious student Samsusaeng watches his every actions. It's then that X texts everyone, Eunju included, about the upcoming Dice Quest. It's called War in School. It'll take place inside the school where Dongtae and Mio etc goes to and participation for a certain amount is mandatory. The rules of the game are:
1. There's a defense team and an attack team
2. Players who aren't in a team or don't pick one are in the neutral team
3. The goal of the game is for one team to win 3 out of 5 games during the first 5 periods from morning class up till lunch time.
4. The losing team from the whole event will have their stats and abilities leaked by X to potential enemy Dicers.
Attack Team:
The attacks teams job is to destroy objects and to hurt or get rid of the designated target that X specifically chooses. Dice is gained by said destruction of school items or the target itself. Attack team winning makes the rewards greater giving them a slight advantage over the defense team.
Defense Team
They have to protect the school and the target that X specifically chooses. The rewards are great if they win, but compared to the attack it's still a sligt disadvantage.
Samsuseang approaches a hooded figure and gives a map and the school layout to that person. He asks the hooded figure if they know someone at the school and the person replies with "A friend". Mr. Kim finds out about the Dice and the Final Die thanks to X and decides to participate in the War game.
Later that event we learn about Eunju past and how she took life for what it was and hoped to live the best way she can. It also reveals hows she got that hideous scar on her back by a jealous girl and how she and Taebin started dating. She finally learns that Taebin is a Dicer and knowing full well that chaos is about to start shape the next day, she prays in her heart to get stronger and to understand why Taebin is doing what he's doing and why he's scared of Moon Young so much.
Before the day of the event Dongtae urges Mio to go to the neutral team out of safety for her concern and well being. Mio objects but Dongtae continues to plea and she reluctantly agrees. Dongtae also is convinced that Che Hyun will choose defense and makes last minute purchases at the Dice shop. With no turning back Dongtae chooses the defense team and all is set.
The day of the event Dongtae runs into Eunju who just entered the class room and he starts to feel awkward around her. The teams layout gets reveals. 8 members for attack, 2 for defense, and 4 for neutral. It's also revealed that Mio had chosen defense much to Dongtae's dismay.
With all the players on site the game is about to begin and X announces the first task of the War game. Samsusaeng with the hooded figure arrives at the school and Dongtae pursues them to protect the target. Ironically the target that Dongtae has to protect is a bully who use to bully him relentlessly in the past. Samsusaeng is doing this quest for a chance to destroy the school he think ruined his educational and career path, the quest was just a bonus. Dongtae's speed and smarts were able to overcome Samsusaeng's assaults and enhanced Teleportation abilities. Dongtae--The Defense Team was able to win the first period making the score 1 for defense 0 for attack. At the cost of victory Dongtae has wasted his dice and his stamina had taken a hit. Luckily X announces a brief intermission before the second event starts.
While on intermission Dongtae runs into the hooded figure and starts to questions what is goals are with the Final Die. The figure doesn't comply and they begin to fight. The hooded figures uses level 2 levitation abilities to block and reflect all of Dongtae's attacks. Che-Hyun arrives at the scene and gives Dongtae a couple of unsynchronized (blue dice are ones that haven't been rolled in case if anyone didn't know or has forgotten. Hence the term unsynchronized) and a special Enhance Die that can raise an A rankers abilities, but the success rate is a bit low and random. Dongtae uses the dice he was given to use Time Pause to escape the fight and regroup, but Che-Hyun suggests to Dongtae to keep the Enhance Die for a time he will need it later.
Hyunjo (the bully who bullied Dongtae a lot in the past) thanks Dongtae for saving him and apologies for everything he had done to him. He asks of Byungchul committed suicide, but X mockingly tells him that since the former tried to break the rules he had to get rid of him. And goes off to say that Dongtae was also the catalyst because he gave him Dice out of pity. Dongtae is infuriated and suggests to X to start the next event.
Meanwhile. The faculty and the students are heading to the gymnasium since the situation had become dire. Eunju and Mio are in the halls confused about what to do next. Mio learns through her Clairvoyance that the teacher Mr. Kim is an A rank Dicer and is on the Attack Team. Eunju spots Taebin and questions him about whether he's a Dicer and if he was the one who spread the Dice. Taebin's silence comfirms this which shocks her, but then proceeds to question him about Moon Young. He goes off to say the Moon Young at the school is a fake and that the real one will come soon. He tries to recall something, but seems to have forgotten it. The ceiling collapses forcing Mio to push Eunju out of the way while Taebin goes off on his own in the other direction. Mio breaks down because of Taebin's truths and her blaming Dongtae for causing the school to change.
However, X announces the next event and this time the target is a blind pick rather than a specific one. The target this time is by the name of Chun No-Bong, name that not even Dongtae knows or has even heard of. Knowing that going through thousands of students is a hassle he goes to the faculty office with Hyung Jo and Che Hyun to look for the name in the school directory.
Meanwhile Eunju and Mio have heard the news about the name and the event. Eunju is shocked because the target is someone she knows and is in grave danger. Mio asks who and the latter tells her it's the old ethic teacher with glasses. After being brought up to speed they both rush to the gym, the scene where the teachers are with the other students.
Dongtae is searching the faculty for names, but his irritation is showings and X taunting him isn't helping matters. He receives a call from Eunju letting him know who the target is, but Dongtae gets the realization that the target is infact the ethics teacher he's aware of. Che Hyun breaks a couple of items of the schools and gives Dongtae some extra dice to allow him to use Time Pause. Then they head to the gym.
Samsusaeng decides to end to the gym, as well. The hooded figure senses and spots Taebin spying on him.
Unfortunately they are too late as Mr. Kim had already figured out who the target is. He tries to persuade Mr. Chun to help him with the speakers and they head to the back room. Eunju and Mio were able to catch up, but the door that blocks them from reaching him is metallic and they Mio lacks the physical abilities to do so. They attempt to go the storage room area to find a short cut. Mr. Kim brings Mr. Chun to a foothold and then activates Levitation then urges the latter to keep walking. Mr. Chun complies and falls from the foothold and is severely injured. With that the Attack Team wins the second event much to Eunju's shock and horror.
The third event is a 64 man hunt. Where Attack team will have to attack 64 people and the Defense team have to defense them.
Eunju still in shock and horrified about the teacher and the event starts to blame both Attack and Defense parties for this mess. Mio gets infuriates but Eunju shares that the War Game could've been avoided if one team or the other didn't pick a team. X confirms her theory as correct and tells him that the only way to stop this game is for Eunju to become a Dicer. Eunju was on the verge of considering the offer, but Mio snaps her out doing it.
Mr. Kim decides to hide in the storage room to hide and wait until things blow over. Taebin teleports into the room, but the hooded figure was able to find him quickly. The Hooded figure was able to remove the hood, but Taebin decides to attack. The person in the hood uses levitation to block and repel Taebin's offense. He notices a scar on the person's neck and the hood gets flipped over. Mr. Kim and even more so, Taebin, are in shock because the person underneath the hood is a girl, a girl that Taebin is familiar with. The girl is Dawn (remember earlier when I keep Taebin's friends in mind now it's the time) an old friend from Taebin's old school whom Taebin thought who had died during the incident. Taebin is shock yet thrilled to see Dawn alive, but the latter looks furious and upset at the former. She tells Taebin that they're no longer friends and that he's attempting to recreate what Moon Young was doing at the old school. Taebin tries to make his case but deeper parts of his memory keep flooding back to him and we go back to the day where the incident had ended.
Back at the gym Dongtae is forced to prevent the attack team from winning the event. He's forced to fight Daewoong (A rank Cloaker) and Samsuseang returns to settle the score.
Mio and Eunju go to find Taebin, but Mio remembers something off about Taebin when she read his profile. It shows that rather than a single page it's a entity that's overlapping each other. They head to the storage area to investigate.
It's revealed that Moon Young had challenged X and what defeated effortlessly. Moon Young suggests a game change to X which the latter agrees and is expelled from X's lair. Taebin founds him and then Moon Young asks him a favor. In doing so Taebin will forget this favor and the original purpose behind it. He tells Taebin to spread the Dice and continue where he had left off. Dawn who was barely conscious overhears this and Taebin understands and remembers. He agrees to the plan wanting to help Moon Young spread the Dice and repeat the cycle. Moon Young possess Taebin and his memories of the "purpose' gets sealed leading to the events of meeting Dongtae, Eunju, and many incidents that happened up till that point. Dawn is determined to defeat Taebin and stop Moon Young's plans (Dawn had a crush on Moon Young before his betrayal).
Back at the gym Dongtae is facing the two A rankers and is forced to hold is ground due to his lack of dice on hand for Time Pause. Despite the handicap using his own speed and senses and getting help by Che Hyun who turned on the fire extinguisher to make an invisible make visible he turned the ties. He leaves the gym and the quest to help Eunju and Mio in the storage room. Samsuseang uses Teleportation to get ahead of him.
Mr. Kim uses this opportunity to sneak up behind Eunju and tries to offer a partnership with Dawn. Dawn tells them the nature of the Final Die and that in order to obtain it you have to challenge and defeat X for it. Eunju having enough of the situation and losing to peer pressure she takes the dice she collected and rolls them. In doing so, she became a Dicer right off the bat and much to everyone's surprise was able to use its naturally abilities effortlessly. X being joyful at this situation presents Eunju with another A rank die making her in possession of the Cloaking and Psychokinesis dice, and also it makes her the 16th A ranker needed to get the game going. Using her new found powers she subdues and kills both Mr. Kim and Samsuseang (who died to protect Dawn) and was on the verge of attacking Mio and Taebin, but was stopped by Dongtae's voice reaching her, who just arrived at the scene to witness the carnage.
Eunju comes to her senses and realizing what she did she activates cloaking and flees the scene. Mio informs him that Eunju has become a Dicer and is planning on playing the game to win the Final Die. Shock and horrified by this revelations, he's urged by a trouble Mio to find look for her, and shortly begins to regret it. She spots Eunju's phone and on it she finds that the Quest has been paused and the barriers surround the school have been lifted. Dawn prepares to leave, but Mio stops her to ask some questions. Dawn doesn't comply to them and tells her to strengthen her Clairvoyance and when she does come find her and she'll explain everything.
Dongtae finds Eunju on the rooftop. She tells Dongtae that she's sorry for what had happen, and has told him that her hatred for dice has grown and will earn the Final Die to destroy them. This shocks Dongtae because dice have given him the opportunity to be confident and strong. He tries to confess to Eunju but the school alarm and cells phones interrupt the moment (plot convenience cockblock yay :eyespin:). X alerts them that the quest is over and the result is a draw. Eunju apologizes to Dongtae about what she had done and that things had to turn out the way they did.
Several weeks later the school is temporary closed down and the students are on temporary break. It's also revealed that X made a penalty for all A Rankers for not finishing the quest (despite X calling it a draw in the first place:eyebrow:), it reveals an A Rankers close proximity within a 10, 50, 100, to 150m radius, but it doesn't give their current location.
Dongtae is at the amusement park to fulfill the promise he made with Mio to have fun their together. Mio tries to get a downtrodden Dongtae out of his funk to enjoy the rest of the day. After a day of fun and relaxation. After a many hours pass they take a ride on a ferris wheel. It's there that Mio and Dongtae have a awkward moment and then Mio asks Dongtae if he "settled" things with Eunju.
Going back at the roof scene. Eunju tells Dongtae that she needs 3 more abilities to reach S Rank and out of respect and care for him won't attack if it's deemed necessary. Dongtae tries to talk her out of it, but she asks if he plans to fight her, and if he did he could defeat her right there and now. Dongtae obviously won't even consider that option, and tries to tell her his feelings, but Eunju says goodbye and thanking him for everything up this that point and for being her savior.
Mio starts to talk about her old appearance and why she's a fake and without dice she'd have nothing. Mio also tells Dongtae another reason why she likes him because no matter how much die he used he never changed the person he was inside. Dongtae tells Mio not to say such sad things again because he wants to protect the dice. Dongtae knows that you need the 6 A Rank dice to get to S Rank, but theorizes that collecting the 6 A Rank dice isn't the only way to do it. He suggests finding other specific A Rankers with a similar cause to join him. Mio is bewildered by this idea and wholeheartedly accepts it because it's something that Dongtae will think of. She teases him that he hasn't given her a reply and he goes to confess to her. His voice is drowned out by fireworks and then she goes up to him and kisses him. She holds him gently but her hands start to shake due to her reading his mind about him thinking of Eunju due to her Clairvoyance.
Meanwhile Dawn is contemplating Moon Young's next move and is eventually take over of Taebin. Taebin seeing both an image of himself and Moon Young through a shattered mirror, and Eunju's resolve to destroy the dice.
Dongtae and Mio start their journey home after their date. He asks how she'll get home since he has to walk while she has to take a bus there. She finally tells him that she ran away from home much to Dongtae's surprised.
Season 2 Ends
Phew. That's one summary down. One more to go. Sorry it took to late I was busy with work and my comp crash making me lose my progress. Rest assure I promise I will get S3 summary done on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. Everything will be covered so rest assured. Until then I hope you guys enjoy this summary and look out for S3's summary in a day or two. Enjoy!:D
Soi just a question: Dongtae has reverted to his old self. Did he also loose the abilities? Or just nearly all of his dice? Because one of the old Dicers survived the battle against X but she lost her ability dice so I am wondering if it is the same for him too
About that...that will be explained in S3's summary I will write up and finish by tomorrow or early Thursday at the latest. Rest assure I will explain everything in detail.

still interest in reading this for me, Dongtae is one of the better MC out there though. But tbh, I kinda feel MooYoung and Taebin to be rather useless at this point.
