What I really like from this story, is the characters, the chemistry between each of them are great with funny dialogue, like a self-styled yandere who actually......not yandere, or violent fathercon, etc. And then, the lovey-dovey part, is like ramming your face to a bowl of sugar. The battle scene is quite good, especially if you like OP character. Read and see how OP Dran is!

He is old, cunning, powerful, wise, playful, and very easy going. I don't want to talk about his harem but he does develop bond with them and so on...boring stuff (to me at least :heh: me no homo). He like to think about anything and everything but mostly focus on the stuff that peek his interest, cause and effect of human's action and so on. If you leave him alone, nothing bad will come your way, but if you piss this guy off...no god/goddess will come and save you.

Annihilate before it becomes a threat.

this time it's fine to insult me or call me a jerk, but your Japanese level is becoming seriously questionable to me. This is your aforementioned paragraph:

元気 is use associate with 人間の子供, which mean human children right in the previous sentence, and in right down that it's あの元気, あの is equal to that, basically, that vigour clearly tracing back on to the previous sentence. Mind telling me what's your level or how long you have learned Japanese, なら is already treading on a black mark, but あの is one of the thing you learn first.

I think that's it very unlikely that your major is Japanese, since if that was your Major, you should knew about how they wrote their sentence.
assuming you are learning Japanese at the same speed as i am, i'd say you shouldn't translate with only 1 year since the problem here is weighting more on your Grammar foundation than the vocabulary, but if you want to continue translation, then i suggest buying a N3 Grammar compilation books, not enough, but at least that book should allowed you to differentiate between how conditional and probability Grammar work and have relatively simple multi-clause sentence for you to take example. Vocab is fine on MTL, but you shouldn't rely on MTL for grammar related- problem, in Japanese translation, always start on the bottom of the sentence to find the main action, then find the main Subject. If you stick to that, it's will turn out okay for a speed translation, not completely accurate, but may be at least on a passable level.

I am actually glad that there are people like you who actually care about the translation quality and the benefit of the translator. Just to be clear, I am not bashing on bnguyen14 or anything since his circumstance is similar to me (almost the same actually) and I am also learning and trying to translate japanese though Machine Translation first. What is questionable to me though is the fact that you said using MT will ruin his grammar in the long run. I know there is a guy over in Artifura Forum translating each week chapter with nothing more than MT, and he is doing just fine, maybe examplary even. - to put it in simple term, a MTL is like using a dictionary to slap meaning on word rearrange based on it's programed grammar -> this is what lead to the tragedy when the sentence involved more than 1 grammar, in particular the existence of the supportive phrase. Google is a little bit smarter in this since they allowed for better translation suggestion, but they still share this problem nonetheless.

- 2nd, 1 Japanese word can carried multiple meaning, when you slap a word on a MTL, they will functioned as a dictionary and show multiple meaning, but when you slap a sentence in, the MTL will compromise for a single meaning based on the grammar that's highly problematic.

- The MTL is very bad again identify 1st person, end and 3rd person view in a sentences, since the Japanese have the tendency to omitted the main subject in the sentences, since there are sentences can only used by 1st person, 2nd or 3rd, some vary on situation, this is Bakahou on Tate yuusha thread main problem, in MTL case, they randomly assign I or you in to the sentence with omitted subject. which you should know, the result is tragic.

- there are some grammar with implied meaning that is always 100% lost in the MTL, shortened expression that could turn into Mumbojumbo in MTL. there are a lot of form that look similar to each other in Japanese that turn into Gacha when it come to MTL

Viet has some similarity in Japanese in term of idioms and proverbs. Anything that sounds slightly Chinese, or asian, will help a Viet user understand better.
I have a Vietnamese friend whom i meet during an exchange students, from what i knows from her, Vietnamese is more similar to Chinese in term of grammar, which is completely opposite with Japanese and Korean grammar, understand better is only in term of word and meaning, i admit, most Chinese and maybe Vietnamese have impressive Kanji vocab, but Grammar wise, not really.
Now that I know your reasoning, I realized that I also have to change my learning method. Is there any good way to learn Japanese at home independently?

like i said, if you don't want to take class normally, you could buy a Grammar compilation book and relies on MTL for vocab and the book for grammars, i suggest a N3 book since there aren't much complicated form, and N3 level pretty much cover most grammar in case of LN and manga.

Hmm, for e, Drad's dragon form need to be older and wiser. Since the setting of the story seem like to be European, a snake-like dragon would not be appropriate and a lizard-like dragon would fit much better. So the best description for Drad would be similar to GLAEDR

Interesting second chapter, especially the part about Humans, Goblins and Kobloid betting along. Also I think it's foreshadowing that the reason the spirit went crazy is probably the same reason our MC was killed.

I hate that sort of design. It's overkill and doesn't make any sense with all those embellishments. Strong dragons should be simple.

You give me your own doc file, the version that you comfortable enough to send out. I do my own edit, with note upfront and downbelow as to version. Then I send back you mine. You could add any edit you feel comfortable in your version.

Forewarn: I will try to clean up all the typo. Grammar, depend. If it's Japanese style, more than likely I wont change it, because that give the Japanese light novel its specific charm. If it's just a minor gram mistake, and I feel comfortable with it, then I might change it.

I am a freaking editor, not author or translator. I dont do too much rewrite because it might ruin the text.
