not really, Goemon is a very conflicting character and there are many version of the stories, we can't say that he is child lover, there was one variations when he hold the child high before push it into the boiled water himself. While he is most famous as a kind of Robin Hood, he was also portraited in many version as evil.

Senji Touya uses 才能 (Talent) 盗人の左腕 (The left arm of a thief) 盗品行使 (Exercising Stolen Goods) and defeats the old guy with his own attack.

His right arm is used to steal. His left arm can use what he had stolen.

Just binged chapter 7 to 23 and it was great. Glad Kouu's army isn't painted as plain ol' bad guys that are evil just 'cause. Anyway, I want to see where Touya goes once he learns of his brother's true self. I also like how his stolen talents aren't at max level immediately and that he has to develop them himself. Pretty fitting for him considering he got all sorts of skills from sheer hardwork even before becoming a Returner.

^Probably the same thing that happened with Newton. That aside, I hope he steals Caesar's talent. He'd be able to make great use of his strategizing ability and the weapon usage support side of it. It's a damn shamr Bobby Fischer, Fabre and Schrodinger is gone though. Imagine what he'd be able to do with their talents plus Caesar's. He'll essentially be a One man army until he runs out of stamina.

^You would need tons of people to beat him, not in strength, but in endurance. Once he runs out of juice, even his immortality would disappear until he fully rests himself. That's when they can beat him. Other than that, well, good luck to them :heh:.

I don't think he'd go full on Goemon though. One of the reasons he's spared in the first place is because he is still "human". I think a possible development for him would be mastering his talent, along with those he stole, while still remaining as Seiji Toya. In other words, he'll never have a "perfect" Returner form but that will enable him to keep improving.

but your theory is interesting, exspecially since his "perfect" form would mostlikely not get any significant changes like the already shown examples (like musashi gaining some long range slashing attack),
i mean, at most his power could transform into one where he immediatly absorbs other powers with 100% accuracy and has mastery over them, but that would make him invincible anyway :/
his older brother was also a perfect returner but his ability still required him to train a lot with the abilitys which he wanted to copy so mostlikely MC will only have the changed arms while having permanent access to the powers he stole :eyespin:

His skill came from Robinhood so it is possible. Take, use and give. Then again the way things are going thus far perhaps what you speculate to happen will happen.(In some form or another)

^Goemon is apparently a noble thief, a la Robin Hood. I won't be surprised if it's another function of his left arm since his right can pass through objects, steal things, and then "hold" on to them similar to what he did to that robber and the miniature ship. Maybe aside from "usage" of goods, his left arm has a function of "transfer" of goods, essenrially allowing him to transfer talents. Though it can also be a function of thw right arm, with the left having another function for itself.

his left arm should (is in most storys the case) also have 3 functions, using powers is the first, maybe he will learn to "know" what powers he absorbed and "giving" them is the third,

in any case, i forgot he was robin hood, than yeah, giving powers away is a possibility, but i dont think he has any mastery of his powers right now so to be able to suddenly give others his stoles abilitys dont seem possible imo :)
