Finished season 2 of Illya, 2 more seasons to go. Good times.

If you've read the manga, skip out on season 3 (Zwei Herz), and just reread the part of the Zwei manga that it (nominally) covers. Then watch the last episode of Zwei Herz, since they changed things a bit, and continue with Drei.

I don't mind omake chapters or filler episodes... but when 90% of the whole season is fillers then yeaahhh...

That would be nice, although would mean a lot of work for dw so most likely not happening.

I have mixed feelings about tsukihime. It's one of those things that probably wouldn't work that well in anime format. I would expect it to suffer from the same problems as ufotable UBW only a lot worse. It's story also doesn't seem to have stood the test of time for me and I now feel it's concepts are quite old and outdated.

I haven't read the Prisma Ilya manga so I think I'll stick with the anime.
The bad reviews are making me more curious actually, I think I need to see this.

Err ... Its not like you can have all free Servant easily on the same level with Rider Kintoki. Just use her third skill.

Shishou is... doing fine with her strength as Assassin.
Her attack is higher than Kiritsugu (can't unsee her Buster damage as well as critical damage) while also capable to generate stars as much as him (and Fuuma, as another high star-gen Assassin). Think of her AOE NP as trade off for that strong normals and high stars generation.

AoE NP Assassins are not known for their power after all.

Those who've been playing long enough should have good/decent AoE Berserker or two by now for clearing hand waves anyway, Kiyohime works rather well enough.

2 of them plus a Waver of your own or support (or a third AoE servant) is enough to finish EXP farming in 3-5 turns w/ proper CE's & Weiba's skills.

Any CE with 50%NP will to the job, there are a lot of those now, even Leyline to the job. I used to use a Sakura and Leyline and didn't even miss the k-scope back then.

P.S. No free senvant can clear a wave without help... except santa Alter, so doesn't mean Shishou is weak.

Just took down Lancer Artoria phase 1, but had to use CS to do it.

I get the feeling I need more than just Gawain to completely beat her next. I might need a 5* Saber of my own and some specific CEs.

Just as well, since there's an event coming, I could roll a few when times arrive.

Well, that's why there was a 'Those who've been playing long enough' in the beginning.

Event CE's usually have a 50% charge plus bonuses anyway & the cheap 3 star Leyline can be maxed quite easily too even for newbies, they'll eventually get one or two & max it eventually. gacha rolling would also guarantee they'll get enough 3 stars CE's whether they like ti all not.

I also did say a Waver would help things.

Cant' really care that much for Extella since I wouldn't be able to play it anyway.

Not for two Servants, they won't. Waver can only do 20% team-wide. The other 30% is targeted.

This is only for clearing the field in 3-5 turns (with Berserkers), mind you. If you don't mind taking a little longer on wave 1, it's super easy to do what you said with the 50% CEs and just wave clear on wave 2 and 3. 4-5 turns isn't too improbable with welfare Servants, since they mostly have more than 1 Art card (so better chance to get that Art chain on turn 1 with a Waver there).

Only girls get a bonus for this event, huh. At least I got lucky with the swimsuit event. Beside saber because there are only male silver sabers, all classes are covered for me.

I would be kinda surprised if there's a free servant because we got one for last 2 events. Despite the banner having 3rei, nothing the preview makes it look like it. Guess we'll wait for more details.

I don't know. I could see Ridertoki conceivably doing a BNPB chain and wiping out all three if he gets some good Crits and any non-Caster Hands are hit with the NP or the B+Extra. Crit Buster for Kintoki can do over 20k to Casters, easily, and of course the NP would one-shot anything.

Sounds like you may have missed the Fate/Zero Saber dark suit.

Though if it makes you feel better, it's the worst suit (in terms of skills).

60% would have been nice, but my guess is that they made it less than Saber suit buster because quick+ is a card mod that has more utility in affecting all parameters: damage, np and stars, while buster only affects damage and stars.

And I always try to use a full set of event CEs for events, so equipping a pierce CE is out of the question :heh:

Not to mention that a master skill provides flexibility in assigning who gets to pierce:

I looked at the skills when it first came out but forgot what they did until now. Wow, it's ALMOST as bad as the Dark Suit. Only thing that really saves it is the 10% NP Charge on the heal.

That's my biggest beef with those two outfits. Mage's Association only increases the heal, and Atlas doesn't increase anything. Feels like a waste to level them at all.

Rider, best place outside of dailies is Thiers (ティエール) in Orleans. For Berserkers, it's Gallia (ガリア) in Septem. The former should drop them a lot more than the latter, so you might want to do it first. These are for the Blue Stones. They'll complete the mission just as well as the reds or golds, and the others are more difficult to find.

Gallia is also one of the best places in the game to get the Octuplet Twin Crystals, so even if it takes a little longer to get the Skill Stones from there, the trip will probably be worth it.

imo, the Arts outfit would be something like...

Increase NP generation rate for 3 turns (Party)

...Though, master skills having a 3 turn effect would be a first :heh:

Actually, that suit was pretty good for dead coast in last event (the cement one), because one of best boss damage dealers for that stage was Okita, and quick+ was great, with star attraction to build NP if I already used her own skill, and pierce was very useful against both Raikou and shadow Jack who could dodge.

Still, it share 2 similar skills with the bikini/trunks suit, so you could get it done with the new one anyway. 60% buff for quick would be nice but let face it quick NP already hits sightly harder so it's not gonna happen.

Question: Anybody know if, for the Cu-style dodge abilities, where it's three dodges and then the ability is gone, if someone hits that with a pierce (or whichever one overcomes it), does it do the damage and remove one use, or do those uses remain until they are successful three times? Or does it void them completely?

If Volumen works the same way, I can answer that one. You'll get a "NO EFFECT" when you try to activate Cu's skill, same as if you try to activate it while you still have uses left. I tried that with the "one avoid" CE from the last event (Drake CE, I believe, on a support, since I never got that one) and that's what happened. Might be different if Volumen is an invulnerability effect.

Will hit the CE ones first and then the skill ones. I'm sure about it because I used this setting for the Ibaraki raid, so I most of the time I have Cu skill already CD when take the 6 hits.

For the last skills im debating between a skill which gives stars or a dodge.

Stars for easier NP spam and a dodge would be nice since Waver is the only guy in the lineup who can't facetank an np. A dodge would cover that nicely.

Think i'll go with arts up/servant switch/and +stars. Yeah that seems the most OP.

Man, I'll tell you... Support Gil is the MVP of Camelot so far. "When in doubt, throw an EE at it" has never worked so well. That the strongest enemies are so Saber-heavy doesn't hurt, either. Sanzou's a beast, too, with all the Assassins you face.

Heh... Actually, I might even use him for Tristan, since Archers are going to be just as disadvantaged as any other class but Sabers, and he should actually still do extra damage with his NP because Tristan is a Servant. Plus, I can use him in the round before versus the Archers if I want to.

In fact I'm farming skillstones today, I hate those gold ones specially. 40AP to pray RNG, I get 2 or 3 for 2 AP bars. A single servant use up to 40 of those.

OK, guys,I would want to at least plan at beating Lancer Artoria's second phase. When I think about it, I simply brute forced her first phase,given I had to use CS.
(Even though there is really not that big an urgent rush now with Gawain and I would be at least a bit stronger after the next event)

From what I see of the videos of beating her, beating her seems to be a very difficult damage race of enduring her NP spamming for the total of around 700k HP.
Most people I see beating her had ether multiple Gold Sabers/defense buff spamming Casters/ or simply alot of 5*.

However, I don't have any of those options. The nightmare might not be over yet.

I need Caster skill stones a lot for Waver and Helena, like 72 Blue/74 Red/90 Gold ones. I already fell into despair looking at how much it would take me to reach my goal. The Caster quest drop rate is just insane.

Let alone how much Void Dust I need ...

Worst, the events stack usually 20 skill stones of each class only. It would take me 4 to 5 events back to back to get them all.

To my knowledge, only Jeanne Alter's Np can nullify Lancer Artoria's invincibility piercing.
Does David's second skill of partywide dodging not count under Lancer Artoria invincibility piercing or something ?

I was planning on raising him sometime, given he seems extremely useful for a 3*.

So, I just passed the first two Gawain fights in Camelot (don't know if there'll be others), and although the first fight went pretty well, the later half of the second fight was pretty much against me.
Had to savescum and use the 3 CS in separate occasions because the RNG kept screwing me over with bad outcomes.
The last CS I had to use because Gawain survived with 650-ish HP, and killed my last standing servant, had to savescum again and heal the servant, who survived the battle with 1 HP :eyespin:

Really, RNG can mess your battles due to the fluctuation in damage. Like David's NP doing 32k the first time, and then doing 27k after a savescum...wth...:twitch:

Eitherway, that battle is over...

I don't really remember since it's been a while since I did Camelot but this is the last battle with just LArtoria right? If it's just LArtoria then I most probably just brought Lily, Siegfried, and support Mordred cause of class advantage and just let Mordred do the heavy lifting.

Really just hit her everything until she die, don't bother to defend yourself other than mashu buff and whoever you brought with self def buff whenever you're about to get hit by the NP. I did that and won, plus only do about 3000 to sabers with her NP without def buff.

Well,i just did an experiment with a Mordred support, somewhat, it's not unachievable as I thought, just that I fell short a quite bit, which I assume I would need CS to be able to give it one last push to finish her.

But at this point, I would rather take what I can get, i will defeat her when they regenerate.
I would prefer to save my summoning resources for something actually worth rolling at.

I feel like I'm the only one here who used the story support Bedivere in the final battle :heh:. He was built to fight Goddess Rhongo since he got upgraded to lvl70 and NP5.
I went with Herc, Waver, story Bedi, Mashu, Arturia and Saber Lily. Bedi and Herc smashes alternately while Waver supports. Even took 0 damage from her NP with Mashu's 1st skill, Lord Camelot active and Bedi's 3rd skill. I lost Herc and Waver but Arturia was the one who finished the fight.

Rhongomyniad of Lancer Arturia and the Brilliant Summer Mystic Code have the same wording: 無敵貫通状態.
And I've used the 2nd skill of Brilliant Summer many times to bypass Shadow Jack's dodge in the Coast node. It also worked against the Soul Eater's dodge after it uses its NP. So it also works against dodge.

Discussing Lancer Arturia ... I'll just say my problem is already addressed, survivability, as I tend to rely on kouhai's second skill to guarantee at least one more turn against Lancer boss (Lancer Alter, Ox King, call her whatever you want, LOL and also Tamamo Lancer); definitely can't rely solely on Gilles when the Lancer boss now ignore dodge and invincibility with 700,000 HP.

Sieg is great addition with his reputation as a dragon slayer.
I always like his character design from the moment Apocrypha revealed; having him come at a pinch made me respect him more.
DW, seriously, just let him have that Dragon Slayer as his passive and change his third skill into "Curse of Revealed Weakness" or something like that.

Uhh ... Camelot is the newest installment after long time.
By that time, most people support already had Servants like Mordred, Okita or Jeanne Alter while on the other side lower rarity Servants skills and NP pretty much exploited, like how Robin's Eco-Nuclear can go for million damage, etc.

FYI, after Gawain caught people off guard, most Japanese players (if I saw friend list) understand that they have to take further route instead of usual straight-forward path for Camelot. It doesn't take more than a hour after Camelot release for Archers on my support list to go from Gilgamesh-Arjuna-Tesla to Gilgamesh-Orion-Euryale NP 5, like telling, "You do understand where you should use each of them, don't you?"

That's pretty much what happened, from my POV, not sure about other discussion.

I know you were trying to get Seibah, but I feel it would've been a wiser investment to just roll in the Okeanos rate up. Though you got the best thing you could have there, so I guess it doesn't matter in the long run.

My impression of Lily did worsen over time the more and more I realise Iri is just more useful than her. She might heal for less, but Iri giving guts to the party is infinitely more useful. Also, hits a little harder.

That and debuff resistance is kinda of a bag of whatever.

Don't be shocked if I tell you that gold skill gems were more grindable from last event compared to the dailies. At least there were 6 mobs that could drop it each run, which greatly increased drop rate compared to dailies.

Truth be told, it does kind of make me worry that i do need to catch up in some way or another in progression. There's a reason why i am "rushing" in some way, after all.

While i am relatively able to do lvl 90 event quests like the last event, but i shudder to wonder what if they pull another Ibaraki Douji Event where the final boss is said to be extremely tough as i heard in the past?

Of course, by now,i have to come to terms that i am not going to be able to completely do stuff like a whale would like emptying the entire event shop,that's mainly a side attraction at best, but i dont think i would want a situation where i can't finish up the main attraction of the event...

Only the most hardcore players did the difficult node during the ibaraki raid. I chose to just do the medium difficulty node to avoid stress.

Besides I have my doubt if DW will do another raid like the Ibaraki one. Or the very least they will make improvements if they chose to do another raid event. The repetitiveness of that event in beating up Ibaraki made it a not so great event. It didn't help that DW didn't reward the players for their effort with a free Ibaraki. Boy did that pissed off a lot of players :heh:

Caster 40AP looks to be the best place for Gold Stones, unfortunately, as does Caster 30 for the reds and Caster 10 for the Blues. However, you can try Camelot Great Temple, Camelot Dunes of Daybreak (between the Wastelands and where it branches off to head to Atlas), and Okeanos Reef Waters (top right corner), respectively, to see if those work better for you. If nothing else, you should get a greater variety of drops...

yeah, I used him in the fight...and his NP did an all time low in terms of damage: 65k with Gawain poisoned, and even lower after the poison wore off.
Next/final fight versus Gawain, he doesn't have the defense buff. Just the 2xNP advancement. If you can set up a Robin/Euryale/other STNP Archer chain on him, you might be able to wipe him as soon as you get them charged. Or just throw an Overcharged EE at him and be done with it. He is a Servant, after all.

Well, this was the first time I got to logically use a Support Lion-O. Saw her a couple times in the last event when looking for someone to support at the Caves level (vs the Gazer), but they were either not leveled or there was a more appropriately honused Servant available (Bryn, LAlter, Sensei w/CE).

As it is, I could have taken a support Leo, for all the difference it would have made. First level of Atlas, so it was all books (Casters) in the first two rounds, with one of those X-shaped Archers alone in the last round. Lion-O plus my Ridertoki and Alex made short work of the books, and all three were at max NP charge by the time the last round came, so only two of them were ever going to get their NPs off. TBH, 400% NP with self and Alex Charisma, plus Plugsuit buff, doing only 99k versus an Archer mob didn't impress me at first, since Kintoki might have done more than that, and he's not even a Lancer, but then I remembered it's an AOE, so not bad, Simba.

Anybody who hasn't fought Lancelot yet. Just throw JAlter support at him, ideally one with high skill levels, and maybe a few good STNP Servants like Ridertoki, Caesar, or one of the non-Caster Cus. And make sure to hold off on JAlter's skills until you can use her NP and she has the highest HP currently in the party. Then use all three and pop her NP (with Brave Chain, if possible). Her NP will do a ton of damage, then he'll chain all three attacks on her with his next attack (since she has the highest HP), do no damage (her third skill), and fill her NP right back up (first skill). That should just about do it, if your other Servants are fairly decent.

I sent her in with Caesar and Golden Rider, and he never even got past my front line.

If I remember correctly I used two Jeanne Alter against him. My own and a support. Said it before, Jeanne Alter is the ultimate destructive force in this game. Never hesitated for a second ascending her to level 100.

Caster 40AP looks to be the best place for Gold Stones, unfortunately, as does Caster 30 for the reds and Caster 10 for the Blues. However, you can try Camelot Great Temple, Camelot Dunes of Daybreak (between the Wastelands and where it branches off to head to Atlas), and Okeanos Reef Waters (top right corner), respectively, to see if those work better for you. If nothing else, you should get a greater variety of drops...

Yeah, going through the daily route for anything outside of Blue Caster gems is insane. I had been looking into places in different orders to farm, so I'll try the ones you listed. Okeanos is going to be a good place with Martha on the team (making use of her skill for an ATK up will speed things along) and I need to clear Camelot anyways. Thanks.

I already am planning to farm in America for goo (need about 8 for Kiyohime accession and Helena's skills) and London for Pages (need 9). Then we get to Plumes (which I need for everything, but I will settle for 58 for the time being) and Dust. Over 100 Void Dust.

Character wise, not particularly impressed with this interpretation of Mebd. Just very blah. Also a bit confused lore wise to get past the censors.

Design wise, the first ascension is the best looking, rest is kinda dumb.

And gameplay wise, when you are competing with Shirou for being the worst 5* in the game ...

Cleared Camelot! Easier than I have assumed. I fielded Waver, Caesar, Support Okita, Lancelot, Umu, Mashu. All but Okita were equiped with Kaleidoscope.

I got lucky in the first round where I could pull QAQ Brave Chain with Okita. Second round I used NPBrave Chain Waver then NPBrave Chain with Caesar in third round. Somewhere it got awry like that

Mashu have been the MVP of the chapter not just story-wise but also in gameplay where her def up (I maxed her first skill as well as the third) proved to make the difference between a victory plucked out of a disastrous outcome and total party wipe. Speaking of total party wipe, I only got one at the final fight against Dio as mentioned above. But the rest went better.

I also got 1 only party wipe and it was against CCO 2nd fight, using the same team of the 1st fight she won because it ended up short by 50K HP, fair enough it was all silver with only 2 sabers, didn't use CS just redid it with a better team. The DIO fight was harder than I expected ending with only 2 left alive in the party but didn't lose.

Anybody happen to know of a way to keep Amon-Ra from doing that annoying 100k heal? I ended up literally one attack chain away from losing versus him the first time (down to just Jeanne, versus him with 3000—er...13000 HP), and he has 80k more the next time. Already burnt 10AP in a losing effort the time before that. Any suggestions? Is there a "magic bullet" support Servant for this one?

You can bring a servant that can dispel buffs like Medea/Jack. There's always the "just deal with it and outdamage the heal" thats what I did... try using Lare's ozzy? He should be quite good(rider class, ST NP, self heals, and strong buffs) for this battle. You should also bring all the riders you can muster... ridertoki etc...

As for females for each class that are battle ready... I have a good amount per class except saber and lancer... I only have Lily and Elizabeth for those classes =/

Having both d'eon and Astolfo in the bonus makes me wonder if DW would have added Enkidu as well if Enkidu is already in the pool. :heh:

I brought Waver support and defensed my front line up good on my successful attempt. Mash doing the same to the second-stringers wasn't quite as successful, but I got by. The first time, when I fell short, I brought support Ridertoki. Two Golden Drives in a row took Amon-Ra all the way down to 30k, but he was able to heal right back up to 130k and kill both Riders before I could get a second shot off from either. If I'd used Mash in that one, it might have gone differently, but I went for damage instead. There's no big hurry, since there's another three days left in the half-AP event, so I'll probably level those last ten levels up on my new 4* (Best Kouhai) and see how much better she does at level 70. I'm already only one 2* HP Fou away from having her max Foued.

Didn't notice during the commotion, but do Rulers still only take 1/2 damage versus the Grail Demons? I don't have much in the way of STNP leveled Cavalry Servants, but I do have Mudamuda Martha.

I ended up toughing it out with Golden Rider, Mash, and Support Ozy in the front and Carmilla and the two Rulers in the back. Got lucky when AR popped the 100k heal right after my first round of NP building attacks, rather than after an NP. Of course, he did it again later and was thereafter healing 20k a round, but I still managed to out-damage the heal until his attacks filled all three of the back row's NPs at once.

And there's no way to dispel the 100k heal, since it's instant. He does it and it happens. The (stackable) 10k a round that comes along with it, however, can be dispelled, though, I'm sure.

Got beat pretty bad in the final round of the next fight, though. Got unlucky in the early rounds when Ozy focused-fire on Ridertoki. Forgot how good Jack's survivability is even against Casters, or else I would have had her in since the beginning and focusing on the Ozys first, rather than the Sphinxes. Ah, well, next time. It's only 10AP.

Serenity no question. 100 face looks weird. I prefer to use her skull face artwork and sprite :p

Was dicier that I hoped it would be when Ozy focused fire early on Kintoki again (though all three made it to the last round, with Kouhai dutifully drawing his initial NP), and when he used his NP late on the nearly full HP Jeanne instead of the nearly dead, just-off-her-NP Jack (before I could get Jeanne's NP off), but Carmilla tanked like a champ (gotta love 4* HP) and Ozy helpfully filled her NP gauge until the Phantom Maiden ended it.

Decided to use the 4 tickets from the 400 days rewards. Got Tristan in the 3rd one. Too bad he's not relevant in the next event but it's nice to have another gold Archer, and a story gacha Servant at that. I'm happy when I walk away with at least one gold from the gacha so no more rolling.

Checked his ascension mats and he needs medals in his 2nd aacension. Only have 10 left after using it on Mordred. Fuck, I'm joining in medal hell. I'll level him after the event where I hope we get more medals.

you can always farming the knight nodes in camelot but i wouldn't recommend it the drop rates for the medals is F^&*%# horrible, i only was ever able to obtain 5 from those knights and that's with the time you fight them in story and node grinding

As for stuff like medals, unless you "really need them right now!", it might be better to hold off until the next event shop (hopefully) or the next 1/2AP Free Quest event, if the drop rates are that bad. Some of the rarer stuff from the previous singularities (like Twin Crystals and Snake Gems) seem to drop pretty well in Camelot, though, at least in the main quests. Have only done one Camelot Free Quest so far...unintentionally (sending Assassins up against Archers and Sabers...that was fun)...and didn't get much of note.

It's unbelievable how worse the game is getting on my phone despite the bad specs. Sure, they're below the recommendation but I didn't crash as often before as I do now. This is one of those times where I wish DW made a PC version so I don't have to deal with that shit. One pattern I think I noticed is that newer servants crash my phone or take more time to load profile compared to older servants. Like right now, I'm struggling to go through the archer daily quest with lancer Tamamo, Kiyohime and lancer Arturia.

Hmm, it seems those weekly missions can be dealt with before wednesday. Maybe a sign?

I dunno if it's the cheapest, but my Kyocera Hydro life seems to have minimal problems. The biggest issue is the 8 gb of memory.

I'd say that instead of a phone, that you could get a tablet, it's what I use to play.

I would expect a tablet to be more expensive but it could work I guess as long as the specs are met.

And yeah, I checked just now and I already downloaded the game content so that's not the problem. Tablets are generally cheaper than phones (of similar quality) because they don't have to have the infrastructure that's required to be a phone. Same reason you'd see an iTouch being cheaper than an iPhone. As long as the tablet is basically wifi only, it'll be remarkably cheaper than a phone.
True. I completely forgot about not needing the phone part because touch screen is so synonymous with phone yet I have an old ipod touch. Let's see, how's your tablet working when

The most recent 4koma even has Gudako check how long each NP takes and it ends with her not letting Elizabeth using her NP:heh:

It would be nice if the NP alone was the issue but it still crashed when only using regular attacks. Fortunately the crash only happened when next turn started and sometime it crashed before my turn attacks even ended.

I only get a slight framedrop in the first two, and no issues on the last.

That also happens with my tablet...to be specific, it might crash when:

- Loading a battle
- Using skills
- Choosing command cards/NP
- Loading NP
- A new Servant enters the field
- Changing stages after defeating all enemies

But they only happen after playing for a while, which indicates that it's a memory issue :uhoh:

What is it with Servants needing 15-20 bones in their ascension. Serenity and Kotarou needs 15 while Kiyohime needs 20. Figures DW would make Servants gobble mats that are difficult to farm. While I have 180+ hero proofs in my inventory and no Servants to use it on. I currently have 88 bones but I'd rather not blow it all away on 3 stars. Looks like Kiyohime will remain on level 50 for now.

You can get 20 bones for a 130AP bar, however is anoying having to actually farn them, the same to the hero proof can be farm by 20 oer bar.
Where do you farm the Hero Proofs to get them at that rate? They changed the daily reward away from them not too long after I started playing, so I'm actually pretty low on them.

Almost any node in France and Septem average 1 per run. Okeanos (pirate ship or the first island) has higher level so drop more often so 1-3 per run. America also has it but require more AP while also drop 1-3 sometimes 4, so it's no as efficient as Okeanos.

Charts say the best place to farm Hero's proof is in Orleans (Marseilles) followed by America (Dallas) then Okeanos (Pirate Ship)

DW needs to rotate mat rewards every 4am JST. Like mat changes everyday or weekly, like this week it's bones, next week horseshoes etc. Someone needs to send DW that suggestion.

How long have you been playing? Like I said earlier, I started playing shortly before they changed to the talons, or whatever those things are, as the daily reward. Anyone whose been playing much longer than me is naturally going to have quite a few more.

Plus, I probably don't farm as much as most players do, so I don't pick them up when looking for other stuff.

Been playing from just about the start. Didn't farm them either, just piling them up mainly through events etc. while seldomly using them. Glad that they changed it to fangs, even though it's still not nearly enough. Fangs are always a bottleneck.

Meanwhile, I don't think they'll do it, but I'd love to get another grail through the Prisma Ilya event. Need another one to get Saber Alter from 85 to 90. Who needs regular Arturia when you can have Alter at 90? :heh:

Check the post of forum around 2015 August he was already playing, I would say he's been since release. Myself have almost 340 login days (since 15 Oct) and I'm not short of hero proof either, fair enough I don't have Herc or Arthur or any other proof eater.

P.S. I only farm only if I need stuff for ascension. I still have 13 free quests in America, 12 in Camelot (Played one for Bond points) and 3 in London that I haven't touched.

She does hit harder. At level 90 with maxed out Fou regular Arturia has 16140 HP and 12211 ATK. Alter has 13805 HP and 12314 ATK plus the higher NP modifier (450% vs 400%). Considering that Alter still has the Mana Burst A she's more suited for my purposes which is strictly offensive, paired with Jeanne Alter.

Even without grails, Arturia needs to hit the mid-80s before she surpasses Alter at 80. So at equal levels Alter is definitely superior.

In other news, with help from Lare's Mordred, i managed to finally beat the Goddess of Rhongomyniad! Without, having to resort to my Command Spells to revive the party.

Now, i can finally rest easy in the game without having to worry about competence issues caused by the Main Story being too hard for a long while..

And i can start saving my quartz for rolling for someone i actually like.

It was the second fight that had me and Tactics so worried all this while. You know, the 700k Lancer Artoria?

And i finally had a proper fight after a long slew of headbanging in Camelot.....without having to resort to Command Spells, which often meant i was really pushed to the wall.

I can at least rest easy for now knowing my ragtag team can take on most reasonable challenges, while getting back to where i was before i quit, which was focusing on how to tackle summoning servants i actually like along with getting some decent CEs.

Just finished the two Tristan battles in chapter 12, it went pretty well. Used Lancer Kiyohime, Liz and LAlter, with Caesar, Mashu and Nero in the backrow.

I just piled debuffs on him, along with burn and curse, his multi-hit attacks charged my Servant's NPs, and he took another round of them.
Don't know why you went that route. Just pile Sabers on him. I sent in a front line of Caesar, Brock, and Support Saber Alter. When he was about to use his NP, Caesar had just filled his NP, so I swapped in Mash for him so she could invulnerable herself, taunt, and tank it and I'd have an instant NP waiting as soon as someone else died. Never happened. Brock, Alter, and Mash all tanked his hits and NP like a champ, his multiple hits per attack dutifully charged their NP gauges, and two Excalibur Morgans and Caladbolgs later, it was over.

Oh, and this was in his chapter 17 reappearance. He was even easier in the first two battles. He and Best Dad are by far the two easiest bosses to beat in Camelot.

I fielded Lancers because of the 3 Archer knights before Tristan, and since it worked on the first battle, I went with it for the second. :heh:

Ah, yeah, forgot about the Archers the round before the first time you face him. I think I used Cu Proto, Fionn, and Gilgamesh as frontline in that one, with my Silver Sabers in reserve. Mash or Jeanne might have been in there as well, in place of Gilles. I've had a lot of fights since then...

Serious about him and Lancelot being the easiest. JAlter just completely wrecks Lance's shit. I think I lost one person (Emiya, maybe?), since I do remember him getting an NP off, but it was pretty much over by then.

Aaaand I'm officially done with the 1/2AP event, because I no longer have any Main Quest chapters.

Took me a full-party rez, but luckily it had been three days since Gawain, so I could use Command Spells. Was able to get her over halfway down before dying, so I thought it was worth the risk. It was maybe my worst played match of the Singularity, too. I forgot buffs, had to savescum and still forgot buffs, got distracted at one point and had lost Mash by the time I looked back, and still won, so I can certainly see how someone with my level of team could beat it without CS, so I'm fine with the result.

Mordred is an absolute beast in this fight. I can't imagine how easy this would be with a Mordred/Mash/Support Mordred setup. The Artoria-hate is for real...

Am also surprised at how fragile Mash herself was in this fight. Either that or every one of LArtoria's Crits was directed at her...

Today is special day, with Camelot gacha almost end, I resolved to burn all Tickets I got from 400 days celebration, praying for a Camelot unit as a gift. One before last got me Heaven Feel CE, made me hesitant to continue but something tell me to keep going. The last Tickets turned out gave me...

Gawain: Nightless: Gains 2x NP bar ticks at end of each round, and has damage reduction (80% in first encounter, 50% in second, that or less in third).

Mordred: Rampage: Full NP bar at end of each round, including before first. Resistant to NP Lock (except in first encounter).

Tristan: Reversal: Does 1.5x damage to all Classes but Shielder (1x), takes 1x damage from all Classes but Saber (2x).

Lancelot: Ferocity: Takes 0.5x damage from all Classes but Ruler (1x), Berserker (1.5x), and Avenger (2x). Still deals 0.5x damage to Archers and Rulers. Immune to all debuffs (NP drain not considered a debuff).

Okita is okay, but Mordred is probably better. You get Class plus Anti-Artoria bonus. Even though her NP is only AoE, it was still doing 150k. And that wasn't even Lare's 10/10/10 maxxed NP3 Mordred. It was a lvl71 NP2. That was right after I used my 3CS, so it was just 300% Overcharge plus her skill (at 4). Plugsuit buff hadn't recharged yet.

If Lancelot is 4* Okita, Gawain is 4* Arturia (Saber).
Think of his three Buster as a way to compensate his situational Buster Up.

If your party can stand firm against 250k Lancer, go for it.
Okita or Mordred is up to you, most prefer Mordred because Arturia bonus, some prefer Okita because single target.

I don't remember how much the damage from Lare's 10/10/10 NP3 Mordred in the first (600k) battle was, but it was enough that I only got one off and was still able to beat her with the rest of my team.

So maybe a 4* Brock with a better NP? To be honest, I've never been too impressed with Vanilla Saber. She hits as hard as you would expect a 5* to, and has a good NP for an AoE, but her NP gain seems lacking.

If you have an own Mordred, go out and get a Jeanne Alter support with maxed out Dragon Witch skill. The +40% is more useful than another Mordred or support Okita. I had an incredibly easy time with her using my own Jeanne Alter and Saber Alter plus a support Mordred. Mordred and my own Saber Alter were running around with Kaleidoscopes. First turn stun Arturia and charge up the NPs, then unleash the NPs with their respective Mana Burst plus Jeanne's skill and that was more or less it.

If I describe it, Gawain is all-rounder, with strength of Arturia when there's sunlight (while Lancelot is Okita taking Arts class). During the day, with first and second skill activated, his Buster Brave Chain doing great damage.

Agreed. Vanilla Saber is lack of NP gain, but she hit the hardest when her Buster managed to land critical and IMO stay the longest without any supporting buff / CE (based on my experience using her as support). Her strength most likely on her high stats.
