It's implied that she keeps longing in her dreams of getting raped by Kurono over and over and that was so because he was too loving and passionate at the time (her patron goddess said so :heh: )
Lily : Speculated as Jealousy; currently her heart is broken since in her mind she can't accept not to be Kurono's only one (saw Sariel swag with Kurono in Lily's own bed through telepathy); it's hinted that a big development awaits her.
Fiona : Speculated as Gluttony; currently dating Kurono after tricking him. Keeps trying to get laid but always fails spectacularly on each try. Would sacrify unborn childrens for Kurono (this is not a figurative speech).

The reason of why there is deadly sins listed there even though the series doesn't touch that, it's because the previous demon lord had a deadly sins themed harem. Outside Sariel, Beru and Reki, that lot is all considered yandere. Ah, well, Reki fits yandere if you use yankee instead of yanderu :heh: :heh:

There are also other characters that "like him" but haven't been too expanded on, like the n°1 member of his fan club girl and Erina the elf recepcionist. I think that outside Erina and Neru, all other girls around Kurono are lolies.

I'm also not counting Kurono's amazing & wonderful yandere harem of sentinent weapons (which is filled with nothing but loyal best girls like Hitsugi-chan or Grave keeper-chan).

I think that outside doing pretty much everything with Sariel, he has only kissed Fiona and given a princess carry to Neru? Oh, Hitsuji tentacled him and Akukui (Vulcan's sword) took a large bite out of him; and of course those were expressions of pure maidenly love.

Dark Knight Freccia (sp?), her protection has only shown up in Sparda, but it's pretty damn popular and many people have it, and thus is considered one of the major Gods in the continent; she has a chuuni war valkyrie or something second name, wears a black armor with spikes and fights with a trident. Being a tough knight her protection is related to battle and that's why it's so popular; there is a big ass statue of her in the Sparda palace and Simon's onee-chan's family is supposed to be a decendant of her..... the goddess herself seem to value chilvary, a loyal retrainer spirit toward one's own lord and protecting the weak.

Her blessing has to do with dark lighting that can turn red; but we don't know how complex or complete the ability confered really is, Sariel is pretty strong with it but that's so due to Yuriko being a genius in everything, Sariel investigates what you can do with electricity in her memories and then she does what Shirasaki would do with it or imitates Kurono's black magic :heh: ; when seeing the new version of Sariel's finisher (before was used on the garahado war) Kurono thought that she still is a monster :heh: :heh:

Freccia seems to be a closet shotacon but only when it comes to "her king", it looks like she has been looking for an excuse to ditch her own "realm" and going to Mia-chan's godly "realm" for a long time, and I bet that's the only reason she blessed Sariel to start with :heh: :heh: It looks like she wants for Sariel and Kurono to re-live the same 'romance' that she and Mia-chan went through (Friccia was Mia's first big meeting and enemy), this includes coaching Sariel's on Freccia's pitiful attitude :heh:

There is even more stuff (like one of the apostles considers Sariel a rival to overcome).

Though going for harem path is the obvious choice, at the same time it doesn't feel much haremish because unlike harems where girls tend to come to terms with sharing the protagonist with other girls... The girls here don't even try to hide the fact they want to rip each others guts out to have a monopoly on the protag.

Makes you sort of think that rather than a harem it's going to end in a bloodfest with heroines killing each other at the end when everything is over.

Rin or Rinfelt is a "Saint / Seijou" from the cross religion, she has a super weird magic named "Cathedral" which creates a barrier that is like trapping things in another world. I suspect that she is blessed by a god who isn't the white god, but the cross religion head honchos were just taking advantage of her power; I think she can do some healing / support magic and is a classmate of Fiona.

The interesting thing about her is that she is following the usual tropes of a main character, but it's not doing so by will (originally an orphan whose talent was picked up by a noble, becoming his daughter with no room for refutal); while it's expected of her to act as a religious symbol worthy of respect, her true personality is that of a delinquent who likes beer and smokes and idling and couldn't care less about religion :heh: :heh:

There is an arc where a bunch of chapters are from her perspective, which is part of the war on the border; there we see beautifully, again from her perspective, how that "kuroi akuma" kills all of her party members, repels the attacking troops under her command, tentacle rapes her and finally kidnaps her as a war trophy; easily one of my favorite arcs :heh: :heh: :heh: In order to prevent Kurono from getting war merits, Nero disguises himself and helps Rin escape to his home country of Avalon; the next we hear about her is that she is taking care of children in an orphanage while using her inborn delinquent personality :heh:

It's hinted that their performance is slightly below the other rank 5 adventurers; and they can do that usual ranger attack of combining powers and attacking all at once (Nero said that no matter the power, he'll never use an attack like that in public if he gets one :heh: ).

When the war was about to finish with the Crusaders defeat & the adventurer's were in the front line; it is then when Sariel appears to ensure their retreat route and starts beating the crap of the rank 5, killing a few of them while at it; the rangers died because 4 of them tried to shield pink from an attack. Oh and Sariel most surely gave Nero some sort of trauma and I love that :heh: :heh: :heh: :heh:

It's hinted that the founder of the rangers is actually pink; it's also hinted that the rangers apparently have had several renditions across the years, but that pink has always being the same every time (aka, she probably is from a long lived species).

Both these points are not too relevant to the story, besides the very beginning. I assume you are talking about these happening to the MC, Kurono. The two points are roughly what should have happened to our MC, if not for a fortuitous event.

As cabman mentioned, it turns him from normal to cold blooded killer after the torture he goes through. We follow the MC as his true self/personality as he freely makes his own choices on how to survive. Flow of time/memory-related plots have not happened yet.

The only character in the story your worries are slightly relevant for is Sariel, who is quite frankly best girl since the very beginning.

- Chris tries to get in the way with her wyvern corps, but the Rasupin presses on.
- Rasupin uses Pride Slime's ability to create copies of others once you know their features, makes an army of Centaurs & Sparda army elites. Rasupin has only shown abilities from 2 of Kurono's trials, but there is the chance that he might be able to use 4 of them.
- Sariel stays behind routing off the army so that Kurono can chase his mark. Sariel points out that she will be fine since more adventurers and soldiers will chime in shorty as she starts owning the army.
- Rasupin is making a hurrying to where the greatest concentration of food (humans) is, which happens to be the colosseum where Neru is fighting.
- The colosseum has it's own defensive options, it closes off as if it's a modern stadium; however Kurono realizes the measures won't make it in time.
- Kurono is resolved to buy time, but Fiona advices against it since it's too dangerous and the Rasupin already defeated Kurono once 1 on 1; they are better off linking with Sariel (and thus, sacrifying the spectators).
- Kurono thinks on the 10.000 innocents inside the arena, plus his two good friends there (Kai & Neru) and flies off to intercept the monster.

- Starts eating the audience; makes several copies of a knight in a frighting armor and has them hunt the humans while he chills out.
- The king in terror, ask his retenue to leave him alone and kill the monster that's eating the populace..... but they can't do that since the monster can produce mini-mes.
- Neru gathers her harem the tournament participants in the changing room while gearing themselves, and tells them the obvious: that they need to deal with this.
- She dismisses their chances to win as low, but they are better off buying time......... Because deep down she is certain that just like in the GreedGoa case "that person" will beat the monster. She doesn't realize that she doesn't know who that person is.
- As they get ready, for about a third(?) of the audience has gotten eaten already..... And so I was thinking that Kurono was going to arrive before a single victim, silly me.
- The participants start fighting those copied knights, and they are damn tough. That childhood friend of Neru who is for about as strong as Nero can't take one down.
- Neru assist and she neutralize the magnetic iron armor that Rasupin (and Kurono and the mini-mes) can make with her item that absorbs magic.... Rasupin is not happy and stares her in anger.
- ..... Then something comes crushing into the arena, and he looks just like those creepy looking knights that the Rasupin produced.
- He identifies himself as an adventurer, Neru desperatedly ask herself who is he?; and Neru herself is quite puzzled, why does she feel as if she was struck by lighting? why does her breath grow rough? why does her skin flushes, as if in a fever? why does her heart, beats so quickly? "Aaa. I was to see, that person; his true face under the helmet".
- Rasupin gets mad and attacks while they are conversing; Kurono activates his Mojo and sends him flying with one of his strikes (pretty much mirroring the time when the Rasupin defeated him some chapters ago).
- While Neru's childhood friend comments on his strength, Kurono denies it and ask them to lend him strength since he can't beat the monster alone.
- Just as Neru felt like totally jumping at a long awaited proposal as if a slave being requested by a master, she finally notices that her own current state is odd, and doesn't know what it is.
- Childhood friend ask for his name while Neru keeps telling herself that she knows it, but why doesn't she remember it? as she heard "Kurono", she repeates it slowly as if in a daze.
- Chilhood friend notices her confusion, and again proposes to work together with Kurono to beat Rasupin.
- Kurono looks as Neru, expecting her answer.
- Fidgeting and cutely, Neru mentions that she is lacking but Yoroshiku onegaishimashu.
- Kurono answer calling her Neru, without honorifics ♡♡


Ah, the author stated another series (a battle royal with betrayal and despair that better be worthy of this author. And better have every girl be a yandere as well) that I'll check out later and it's currently being updated daily?.... Fiona advices Kurono to stop playing with his friend and to focus on recovering and studing to take a big job after they go back to sparda. Totally not jealous, not at all.
So, Neru has been ignoring Nero's existence ever since they withdrew from the royal academy and she has been training to increase her yandere-o-meter (plenty of months); and now Nero catches redhanded that IchaIcha time between Neru and Kurono tourism :heh:
Nero gives a siscon remark of not being visited at all and complains, Neru counter attacks wonderfully that with his habit of "wasting time" by leaving whenever he pleases to wherever he wants to; he is never there in the castle for them to meet together.
Nero mumbles that she shouldn't participate in a fighting tournament without telling him, and Neru counters that he is too much of a worrywart. Celis tries to calm the air between the siblings.
Neru switches the conversation again, and forces Nero to stop ignoring Kurono who is right there; Nero was about to complain, but Neru admonished him on how Kurono saved her and her father when the Rasupin was raging. Neru adds a touche that Nero is jealous of Kurono (if he is jealous, it's of Neru fawning over Kurono instead of him, that siscon :heh: :heh: :heh: ).
Celis tries to calm the situation, but Nero dryly accepts that it was indeed Kurono who killed the monster. He also confronts again with Kurono that he is planning something.
To assure him, Kurono tells him that he isn't planning anything and that will be back on Sparda as soon as possible. We all know that Kurono probably will bump into the crusaders hiding in Avalon and will make Nero even more suspicious.
Hahahahha, as the shuraba was on, Rinfelt came running berating Nero, hahahaha. Kurono reacts by readying hatchet-chan, and Rin skeals in fear as she recognizes the devil.
Nero sights that Rin came here at this juncture and was found by the one guy she shouldn't, and Kurono confronts him positively pissed.
Kurono asks him if he broke Rin out of prison, Nero tries to play it off, but Kurono gets more pissed.
Nero argues that she is just an orphan dragged into things, but Kurono confronts him if he knows how many people have died due to her (pretty damn a lot, of course).
The kids that Rin takes care of come to shield her, Nero mumbles that Kurono complains, but he is way worse since he did a (sex)slave out of Sariel, Neru snaps but Nero tells her to wake up and realize that Kurono is dangerous.
Kurono gives up, and warns Nero that he knows nothing of the horror of the Crusaders, Nero answers that Rin is already one of his companions.
They sort of confirm that the church Rin is borrowing is not related to he Crusaders, and Kurono finally warns Nero that the Aria cult is sure to be an outlet of the Crusaders.
They split up from Nero, and Kurono decides they should check the adventurers guild....

The author sense of timming is odd, and mostly in a wonderful way. To think that he still is going to drag the stuff about the trials, when the hell is pride going to finally be conquered now that we are switching to envy?

It bothers me about Kurono's portrayal that he should "know" deep down that he is betraying Lily by folding to Fiona; he also should know that he is doing so by far from justificable reasons......but he himself never has a speck of though about the act of betraying companions and acting as if Lily doesn't exist..... That donkaness level is way too over the edge; he is basically about to bring forth the apocalypse due to density. Avalon will go down in flames way before the Aria cult has it's supplies & resources ready for their revolt :heh: :heh: :heh:

I think that it was mentioned that it wasn't very much dragon like looks wise; and compared to the other dragon species shown so far, I thought that it was quite bigger (well, it is an unnatural mutation of an species).

Sariel-tan in a pinch!


- In the previous chap, Lily separated the trio via traps, nullifying their advantage of being a team. Conveniently Fiona had reminded them that they can't win on their own against the current Lily (Fiona got caught in a kekkai, and Neru got teleported by a transition trap).
- Obviously, from the three of them Lily had porpusely selected Sariel to isolate her and kill her first, Sariel hardens her resolution.
- With her gun weapons in hand and her being a mage; the ranged battle is too much for Sariel, who just recently learned thunder magic.....
- Sariel takes several bets, but the best of it is she using Yuriko's knowledge and diverting the light beams with a lighting cloud, creating a chance to close the distance (Lily didn't knew such a thing as bending lasers was was possible).
- Sariel unleashes a close combat technique hoping to switch the tide to now her overwelming Lily since -again- Lily is a ranged fighter.... but the fairy easily overturns this by using 2 of Kurono's blessings; Sariel is obviously shocked.
- Further exchanges, and Lily steals Sariel's spear and store it's on her own pocket dimension, "it's a nice weapon that can absorb a lot of black magic", things looks grim.
- Sariel harders even more her determination, realizing that Kurono wouldn't fight Lily due to his soft nature, and Lily being a monster in mentality would cause who knows what type disaster once she shows herself in front of him. To protect Kurono, Sariel has to kill her now.
- Sariel also realizes that (black) gods don't magically grant power just because, so she can't hope for any sort of divine intervention / power up now, rather she takes this as a trial that she must overcome with her own ability.
- Sariel starts with a barehanded technique that Lily stops easily since she had seen it before, Sariel-chan then does a surprise attack which consists on using a spear technique with the succubus tail of her pervy underwear..... Which Lily also stops due to having seen it before, and how? Sariel and Kurono had done many sparring sesions and that's where Sariel learned that surprise attack, and Lily can see everything that Kurono does since she has his eye with her.
- The deadlock last a mili second, but then Sariel switches and uses a traditional martial arts technique, the one that Neru learned; which surprises Lily since this is the first time that she used such a thing in a fight. It turns out that, when she came to this world, Sariel was tested to see if she could handle juujitsu, but she had totall no talent for it, so rather than trying to teach her that, Judas taught her this world's fighting style (So, it's hinted that Judas can also use otherworld jujitsu like Beru & Neru?). However, after witnessing Neru using that style up close, Sariel could have a much better grasp of it to the point where she could crudely use one the first of the moves, the same move that Judas showed her and the one on which he judged that she had no talent for it.
- The technique hits Lily square on and then......

- It's revealed that 'that night', Kurono was so awesome because he kept calling for Yuriko's name; in other words he never saw Sariel while at it and was mentally doing it with kaichou-chan.
- (this is all happenning while Lily is shooting cannon fire from afar, and Lily closes in after she gets enough advantage).
- While Sariel is kneeling, Lily adds the obvious, which Kurono wasn't seeking for nor needing for Sariel, but for Shirasaki Yuriko; and that Sariel should just become kaichou-chan.
- Sariel feels as if this is a devil's whisper; and counters with the obvious: that Yuriko is now just info and that her soul is missing any will and can't come out.....
- Lily counters with all of the info Sariel holds, she can become a perfect carbon copy of kaichou-chan, and that she can do this because originally Sariel was just a doll without personality.
- Lily questions Sariel on how did Yuriko smile was like, and against the best judgment, Sariel can't help but to trace within the memories to search for Shirasaki Yuriko's ideal smile, which was obviously directed to the boy she liked Kurono Mao.
- Lily pulls out a mirror and shows Sariel the face she is making : she is giving out a wonderful pure smile which is an exact replica of Yuriko's one towards Kurono.
- Lily points out that Sariel is not an emotioness doll like she herself thinks she is (but implies that she is a doll that can perfectly replicate emotions rather than a person on her own worth).
- Sariels notices that obviously she is already under a mental attack from Lily, but she can't regain a battle wary attitude no matter how much she tells herself that she is in danger.....
- Lily formally asks Sariel to become a Shirasaki Yuriko doll, for Kurono's sake; Lily points out that from all of the girls around Kurono, Sariel is the only one who can do it.
- Sariel manages to deny and points out again that it's impossible for her, Sariel's will grow stronger each time she denies it.
- Sariel has a small mental monologue that if in that fated night, the one who had awakened wasn't her but Yuriko, Kurono's life would have improved drastically and his relationship with women would never had escalated into this yandere royal rumble murder shuraba.
- Sariel keeps denying it, and finally screams behemently that she is Kurono's slave since she swore it, and not Shirasaki Yuriko.
- Lily points out that this is Sariel's ambition / desire and the core of her heart.
- The fight resumes, but Sariel is mostly denying Lily's arguments and leashing out, so she is not really menacing.....
- Lily points out that Sariel knows quite well on how Kurono would be happy if Yuriko returned, but in order to secure Sariel's own happiness, she purposely plays dumb and keep things as it is, Sariel is still on denial.
- Lily ask just how badly does Sariel wants Kurono to see her for who she is and not as Shirasaki Yuriko as she sneaks an attack on her flank with one of her weapons.
- Lily adds the finishing touch, and points out that Sariel would be happy as long as Kurono reach happiness, that for Sariel it doesn't matter if it's with Fiona or with Neru or even with Lily who she is trying to kill...... But the one person Sariel will never allow to make Kurono happy and that Sariel will never accept is Shirasaki Yuriko.
- Basically, Sariel admiting Shirasaki Yuriko's existence and influence, equates to denying her how existence and influence on Kurono. Sariel panics on how is it possible for Lily to know more about her heart than she herself does, and just what type of monster she is that she can mindbreak a doll without a personality.
- Lily shows Sariel the conclusion, something that Sariel herself was unaware of, and that the reason of why the 7th apostle wasn't killed and why she was embraced, it was all because "she was" Shirasaki Yuriko. Kurono never saw Sariel for who she was from the beginning; which is the source of Sariel's jelousy.
- Every time that Kurono is gentle towards her, evey time Kurono helps her, every time they talk or they touch, on all of them Kurono was seeing Shirasaki Yuriko's shadow, he never saw Sariel directly.
- It matters not how much blood or sweat Sariel shreds for Kurono's sake, all of Kurono will be easily obtained by Shirasaki Yuriko in the end, even if she is someone who is no longer in this world. Since the situation is that, it's impossible for Sariel to not being jealous, Lily mutters.
- While the confused Sariel tries to identify since when she started to feel this way, Lily points out that this is an unescapable destiny that Sariel has to live with since there is no way to change the fact that she once was Shirasaki Yuriko.
- Sariel back tracks to Yuriko's last moments on which they barely spoke a little; and Shirasaki's words were indeed a curse that she casted upon Sariel.
- Sariel further deduces that perhaps, because Shirasaki saw Kurono collapse in front of her just before she herself collaped in the same way and was summoned, probably deep down Shirasaki held the hope of meeting Kurono in this different world again. And that once Yuriko's own existence was about to disappear, kaichou-chan still wanted to leave at least an impetus so that her feelings for Kurono don't disappear.
- Sariel again realizes that Yuriko's curse had quite on effect on her dealing with Kurono the first few times.
- Lily points out that the curse of love fulfilled due to Sariel and Kurono meeting again, and that Yuriko managed to embrace Kurono though Sariel, and through Sariel she continues to obtain Kurono's love. Lily adds that it's due to Sariel's jealousy that she can understand her so clearly.
- "This is all fine and dandy, but ours is a relationship where we are killing each-other" Lily finally adds before invoking Meteor Strike on Sariel, who wasn't even acknowlodging Lily's existence and was directing all of her thoughts and her flame of jealousy towards Shirasaki Yuriko......
