What happens when a scientist from a futuristic world reincarnates in a World of Magic and Knights?
An awesome MC is what happens!
A scientist’s goal is to explore the secrets of the universe, and this is exactly what Leylin sets out to do when he is reincarnated. Dark, cold and calculating, he makes use of all his resources as he sets off on his adventures to meet his goal.

I read a few chapters and i got to say this is a 10/10 novel it's the perfect mixture of Colling Dragon and Fate Stay at Night because it's like a world Xianxia with a MC that acts like Tohsaka Rin.
The best thing about the MC is how he always acts in the most cunning way and NEVER makes a mistake you will never see a powerfull Warlock attacking the MC for revenge or the MC killing people for dumb Xianxia reasons in fact he won't kill people in the open ever and will never put himself in a situacion he would be in danger.
OP: the MC name is Leylin (like Lord Bluefire of CD) and he is a scientist with a A.I. Chip that works like Aprasial-sama or Great sage and that is the most broke cheat ever he is also a achemist and with the A.I. chip he is even more broke.
MC like in CD also have elemets he is good at in this case Darkness, Shadow and a little bit of Fire and Plant.
Harem: The MC does have many casual enconters to vent here and there and with the A.I. chip he can have his "fun" with no risks of getting a child.
Also do notice this novel have a status screem like:
[Fang Ming (Leylin Farlier). Strength: 0.4, Agility: 0.5, Constitution: 0.4, Status: Bleeding from back of the head, many injuries to the soft tissues] later it adds his wizzard rank and knight rank and spiritual power/mana.

Super Wizards vs Gods. That's all I'm going to say
Yes i can think of many smart scientits MC like Okabe from Steins Gate but this is more about magic and less about science so it's best to think of smart mage MCs.
Rin spend 10 years of her life for the grail war, she can be very cold and will murder if she have to but only if there is no other way. She is also a genius mage but still is part of the normal world. Also praticts martial arts even having magical powers... and so on.
Leylin have prudence/ cautiously he prepared for 1 year to start taking missions on his school to kill monsters, he is cold and won't kill people unless they leave him to choice. Leylin does collect hearbs from ordinary people and even live with them for some time. Kinght and Warlock training... and so on don't just write " He's nothing like her" just because he isn't a Tsudere Young Woman.
This remainds me of Fate and even more Fate Zero because of how cruel Wizzards can be like in this novel when you join a school you have to pick your teacher but he isn't going to teach you for free you have some requeriments one of these guys want the student to participate in some tests some die and others became monsters just like in Fate.

There are heroines as he goes along. In the series the more powerful of mage gets the longer his life span extends. The MC has lived for hundreds to thousands of years as of the latest chapter. He has a couple of wives he picked up from different worlds he's traveled in and even has his own country.
The main heroine doesn't show up until he's like a hundred or something

I we did some research and turns out that this world is actually based on both Discworld and Dungeons and Dragons. (Forgotten realms)
And that the wizards and wizard levels are based on Discworld wizard levels.

First he needs to have knowledge of how to meditade or train his body like to becaume a 1 class apprentice you need to meditade to unlock spiritual power.
Not only that natural talent plays a part on training there are 1 to 5 levels of talent and MC is 3 so it takes time to reach the spirital level for a upgrade in his power.
But with the A.I chip he can use pharmacy and even recover lost recipes that help incrise his magic. Not only that to reach Wizzard/Warlock level you need knowledge that the people in power keep suprasing so they can ramain in power and force new people to either join them or remain a 3 class apprentice.
So the MC when he reach 3 class apprentice have 2 choices the first one use a item that burns his life force and became a wizzard and only relay on items to raise his magic powers since normal meditation is useless at that point or he need to find advance meditation that the big powers suprase in some ruins left by experts of the past.
The MC got luck and not only fond the advance meditation but also how to train was a Warlock using Blood of Comb Snake that unlinke Wizzards it uses Blood of beasts to burn its life force a banned promotion.
So even if a A.I Chip he still needs to find the stuff and use special medice to train faster his pooor talent.

There is no "true" heroine but he does get multiple temporary girlfriends and even married some.
All of this is because this stories time frame goes into centries and thousands of years because mages live a long time the more power full they get.
At the current raws his life time is estimated to stretch into several hundred thousand years because of the amount of power he has.
He also has a bunch of kids, grandkids and great great great great grandkids
(All are still alive)
You know what is the best part of this novel it's how the classic tropes and flags the MC breaks almost like a run joke that shows how the autor disdain the classic plots.
Like how a dansel in distress being hunted by people that posion her noble father asks the MC to help her or when the MC opens a weapon shop a kid with endless talent for knight show interst and wants the MC to train him after doing all kindas of chores only to be turn down in the end.
The MC of this novel is like a evil version of Yun Che even more when his Warlock blood makes him lose his reason.

LoL he did save a few people but only the ones that really made a impact or could pay for his help.
Like when he was a apprentice and working in pharmacy his tutor have also a nice girl assisntent she was in love with some asshole that was famous on there school Black Bone and she was very friendy with the MC and after she became the asshole girlfriend she even have sex with the MC to vent a little lol so when the asshole betray her and made her steal from her own family only to leave her alone the MC did compensate her family and even kill that asshole... and his whole family too by accident since he was also testing a spell lol.
But he only help her because she help him many times too it's like Full Metal achemist everything must be a even trade.
After reading so many Xianxias where the MC helps somebody to be backstab later in this novel that will never happend.

Maybe i write one when i catch up with the Raws this is a ongoing novel after all.
But i can tell you this is a anti XianXian tropes novel the MC don't participate in tournaments, he don't bully people or people try to bully him( well some try but only because the MC troll them), The MC have no loyalty to his school in fact he even destroy his 2 school, nobody trys to fuck with his family (well thats also because the wizzards have a rule of not killing somebodys family while the Wizzard they want to harm is still alive so there familys don't get destrory later for revenge), the MC have no problem in joining a criminal organization that plunders treasures from schools to get rich fast.

This is a Xianxian novel and the MC is a dark warlock know as Black Flames Railing (really like Lord BlueFire of CC) if he went around helping people and doing good deeds he would be death in that world. These Wizzards are very cunning and cruel you won't see dumb villains in this novel.

What I'm trying to say is Discworld Wizards don't have ranks. There's a level system, but it's both a parody, and a joke. Because all the talented people are at the lowest level under the assumption that, 'those buggers are better off being tutored than going of to use their powers to disrupt the fabric of reality' and, 'It sounded like such a good idea at the time.'
The highest ranks are those who know completely well how to solve their problems without any magic use.
Neither of them know how magic works by the way. The lower ranks just have more complicated words to describe why they don't know how it works.

Anyway after that the kid went for genius to trash lost his fiance, family don't care and endeless bully but the old man in the ring can help him train and to recover his talent and even became a true wizzard with a meditation the MC put in the ring...
MC at this point already made 2 little guys that could became MCs in there own novels lol and he is doing that just for the lols.

This novel really cracks me up! The MC is a Warlock that use Blood of Como Snake and he have a very ancient pure blood since he purifie with the help of his A.I. so not only his blood is very pure his children will also have a pure blood so...
When he finally arive at the Serpent Family Ring he was recieve with open arms since he strong, young and have a strong blood. And like in every Xianxian some bully must happend to the MC right.
Well thats the funny part the bully come from 2 super beautiful black hair woman (all Como Snakes are like that) since all Warlocks are beautiful and they want to kidnaped the MC and force him to make children and they even pay for it, well since the MC only wants the sex not the responsabilty he refuse so they start fighting and even said "give your seeds" lol.
It's common in the Warlock family for the woman to kidnaped males and rape them since they get a super beauty and suffer the fact they lost to a woman nobody dares to say anything.

One thing I do love in this series is the Insane difficulty Wizards have to go through the kill each other.
After a certain level of power, mainly 4th Morningstar level, everybody has like 100 different life insurance backup, backup, backup plans.
And every wizard has like 20 spare bodies that they can shift into after one dies or 50 other ways to resurrect themselves and homes and bases hidden in other world's and pocket dimensions.
That's why they're capable of living thousands of years. They're really hard to kill.
If you want to kill one you have to completely destroyed their soul or extremely well thought-out seals and traps and plans.
But even then that's hard because of how fast it takes them to gtfo.
The Warlock family of Como Snakes are totally dominated by females and they are all super beautiful and super sluty. I can already see the Mother of all Snakes going crazy for the MC in the future.
Everytime they see the MC they want him to sell his "seeds of life" and are crazy to jump into bed with him hell one of them Fu Rui even turn a guy that wanted to bully the MC into a dog and almost kill the bully father all in the name of his seeds lol.
Well that makes sense Warlocks are all about blood they can't became Wizzards and there talent is based on the quality of blood so incest and orgys are normal while marriage is uncommon and since they can't have children outside the family (blood will be too weak) there is many MILFs after him too. (males can't say shit about that too lol)

This one is way more easy than viva summons and since this novel also uses status numbers and all that you don't need to break your head trying to find out what realm the MC is now since they are 1 to 9 maybe even 10.
Hope you like the MC is like the final villain of the novel a very pratical warlock but he does marry a super nice Sorceress later and becames a little more "human" and way more happy since his wife plans orgys just for him to "help" the other sorceress in having a more pure blood in there babys lol.

But it's also his personality even before that.
His overall goal is to try to create a way to generate "faith" so he can a asend to Godhood in the god world.
The first goal was to completely get rid of the devil that had similar "rule" authority that he had and he doesn't like the fact that his "rule" is similar with a devil, as this will actually cause bad reputation of his upcoming church.
He had rule of "devour" while the devil was the ruler of "gluttony"
His generates black holes while the devils just eats things and gets stronger...... now he has both of them
Just to make a correction the god world is not a place like "heaven"
The god world is another "plane" or " planet / universe" where gods exist.
The world MC is based in is known as the wizarding world. A world in which magic exists but no gods and wizards can get the power levels where they're basically gods in the sense of the word.
There's also worlds like shadow world and dream world in ice world.
All of which have their own indigenous people that live in them such as human cells and the likes.
So that God world is basically another universe in which God exists in and have humans living there has indigenous people.
so MC uses magic to reincarnate is one of the humans in that world.

Just to make a correction the god world is not a place like "heaven"
The god world is another "plane" or " planet / universe" where gods exist.
The world MC is based in is known as the wizarding world. A world in which magic exists but no gods and wizards can get the power levels where they're basically gods in the sense of the word.
There's also worlds like shadow world and dream world in ice world.
All of which have their own indigenous people that live in them such as human cells and the likes.
So that God world is basically another universe in which God exists in and have humans living there has indigenous people.

Damn i just read the part the Mother of all Snakes decide to show up for the MC and i got to say that was the biggest disapointiment i ever have in this story.
First of all the Mother have absolut control over all snakes so she can just ask one of them to die and they will and the Mother situacion right now is terrible since her whole race is traped in a purgatory world a world made of fire and this cause the snakes that have cold blood to get a sickness making there blood get emocional unstable, to cure that she try to conquer a Ice world but she fail and now her family not only is sick but also lost many high level members.
Base on this i imagine the Mother of all snakes was a ruthless and cleaver leader that worries about the fate of her race so i thought when the MC show up on her radar even if he doesn't bend the one knee she would compromise and use a cleaver way to manipulate the MC like a boss would.
But no the Mother decide to just down right criple and kill the MC using curses and that is the worst possible way for her to deal with him. After all even if he dies she gains nothing and if he lives she better sleep with a eye open for now.
Big let down i wanted her to be awesome but the autor turn her into a short sighted villain with a huge Death Flag on her head... she can even see the MC fate and knows he won't fall because of the curse but she still shoot.

I only read the translation so I only read up to chapter 27 but I liked the story so far.
Damn good story the part i now is the Purgatory world and the magic system there reminds me of Planescape Torment a little and i love these old RPG styles.
The first one is using Animal contract in other words summon you can use them as pets or in your own body. But the second one is the best you can use the worship stsyem where you pick a Supreme powerful to worship and doing missions and sacrifices to him he gives you power. Like if you work for Filthy birds and rob/ kill people from Eye of trials he gives you a huge power boost.
Now they have 7 supremes they are all Wizzard rank 8 and so far i only know 3 the first one the Mother of all Snakes (Blood is everything, lamia fetish, obey her commands or die), Eye of Trials (a dude all about contracts and rules) and filthy birds (caos, freedom, hate rules). Well don't even need to say who the MC is going for lol...

The autor sure like these old games like Baldurs Gate but when you reach Demigod it's all about the laws or rules and then to promote to higher levels you must fuse laws but unlike CD to fuse stuff you need the help of planets so you can absorve the rules there and thats why all the Gods keep fighting and invading planets so they can get stronger.
Thats why Wizzards World and God World have a huge war in the past because these 2 planets have the most rules and the one that can control both of them can became a Sovereing.
Just catch up with the raws and the MC have a great plan to conquer the Gods of World Planet since war didn't work and made the Ancient Wizzards fail the MC decide to conquer from inside he use a reincarnation witchcraft level 7 to separated a piece of his soul to reborn inisde the gods world.

I just read a awesome chapter where the MC made a ring and put a A.I. inside in the form of a old man that call himself Merlin a supreme wizzard and then he gave this ring to a kid that he took advantage in the past in this case he read his memorys and erase his enconter causing the kid to lose a part of his talent.
Anyway after that the kid went for genius to trash lost his fiance, family don't care and endeless bully but the old man in the ring can help him train and to recover his talent and even became a true wizzard with a meditation the MC put in the ring...
MC at this point already made 2 little guys that could became MCs in there own novels lol and he is doing that just for the lols.

This is a damn good world build everything and it makes sense how the powers are placed. Also you will NEVER see the MC being save by someone he always save himself and deal with his own problems.
I try to explain without spoilers in this novel the power-ups are very well made the early parts where you usally have to deal with some arogant brat or some shitty genius like in all Xianxias but that never happend here because the MC was super low profile always hiding his talent and real power so nobody bully him and at the time he reveals his power he is dealing with experts.
Now the world the MC lives is the Wizzard World and the most powerfull region is the Middle Continent before this region there are only other 2 and they are very poor regions so the MGA thing won't happend here when he "conquers" the Middle Continet he pretty much rules the surface of his own planet. The rest of the experts that can match the MC at that point are close to the center of the world and they are all allys fighting alies and Gods from other planets.
Now these "overgods" they can be counted in this novel you wont see a whole continet these are people that reach 7 realm and undestand a rule (like Coling Dragon) this is also the MC curent level now.
AS for fights that shit won't happend here the MC plans if he is going to fight somebody he pretty much already know how to beat him, his father, grandfather and the whole magic school they are from and how to take 100% of profit in the process there was even one time when he trick 3 True Gods (8 realm) right on there faces when he was just a 5 realm close to death by curse and even made one of these true gods into his bich (he stole his rule, memorys and put him into a coma).

the higher you go the smaller the amount of people there.
In the Wizard World I think that's only around like 5-6 people who are rank 7 and higher and thats the point where there's just outright gods. And all those people are a life so there no fighting.
To be considered anyone even worth mentioning in this world you have to be at least rank 4. Frank for Morningstar wizard is when you're capable of planewalking and performing interplanetary fights in space.
It's only a couple hundred morning stars in the Wizard World. Around only 30 rankel five new moon wizard and like maybe 10 rank 6 around five rank 7 and higher. there's only one ranked 8th and that's earth mother Gaia.
And any other creature rank 7 and 8 are usually based on their own respective planets where they are the highest godly creatures.
This is one where any rank 7 + 8 is some kind of deity or cosmic horror.
You'll be seeing things like 100,000 mile long snakes and cosmic horror Cthulhu and planet busters and gods.
And rank 9 are only the planets living subconscious will themselves.

I am happy to find out after the level of 4 is all about the souls and spiritual concepts.
Also the fact that soul power and spiritual power are classified differently.
So legends in this world are truly in fact Morningstar level when it comes to the soul and powers related to it.

So even if they are essentially immortal they are not eternal . True Eternal comes from absolute space time fuckery to the point that you don't die unless the entire universe itself and the Very concept of reality dies. Basically the most ultimate unkillable. Because how can you kill concept?

The shadow world thing is completed.
Turns out the person that took over show the world was the god of Shadows shar.
She seemed to have barely escaped with her life from the gods world before it was sealed and luckily enough made it to the shadow world which accepted her. And then she decided to kick everyone else out.
Over the course of ten thousand years she turned the world into a future perfect modern world with magic and internet and everything. She uses the Shadow Magic Network. To which she used to make an absolute totalitarian world. ( also she's no longer a God because she managed to switch out from the god system to the wizard system and now it's capable of existing without faith)
Long story short, infiltration, hiding, investigation, conspiracy, hacking, Rebellion and retaliation.
Also the plot basically surrounded the Shadow Magic Network and how she was going to use it to create the Tree of Life by connecting everyone Souls to it and breaking into nine level(or was it 8 limit?)
So mother snake and shar went all out trying to murder each other. (Shar beat the shit out of mother snake)
Here Comes Railing at like a boss out of nowhere.

Shar managed to survive because she's no longer of God. Is she was a God she would have been dead instantly.

Looks like the RAWS reach the finale i still reading chapter 1172 and end in 1200 so very close to the end.
But so far i got to say this is a damn good Xianxia novel best part os the novel is the Mother of all Snakes arc and the Gods World arc these are masterpieces the autor did a very good job in making the MC a master in planning and trolling.
Well the only bad part is we didn`t see much of MC with the Snake Mother later on because it was pretty nice to see how confiant she was in him trolling everybody after suffering in his hands lol.
Ok, I started to read this since it seemed to be the type of WN that I like. And, yes in many ways I really liked it, the way the MC doesnt have any pride when he is weaker just to stay lowkey and how he trolls some enemies, BUT... i'm at ch 780 and until now its basically a monologue with him ordering the chip.
And then, someone said he would become more 'human' after he married and all... but its been more than 200chs, he even got to lvl 6 (half seven). He shoudl live for more than 100.000 years, and he was like 300yo~ when he got to this lvl, then i thought, ok now he will spend a few years with his family, maybe until 1000, but no, he does some 'pr shit' and goes back to the lab for centuries....
I know that he has many woman, some children, but it has 0 development until where I read, its fking sad that the author makes so many boring chs and cant dedicate at least 1 for it. Until now, it only says when he saw his newborn son and put a rune on him to protect from the mother of snakes and when he came back and promoted his sons blood. WTF...
Finish reading all the novel got to say the ending was lacking he finally was promoted to wizzard rank 9 and then realise there is a rank 10 where you created a rule...
But really thast all folks i was hoping for a more human ending where he goes back to his family and add the Mother earth to his harem too lol but no back to the lab lets crack rank 10 lmao.
I won`t even put spoiler tag because this end you see from a mile away it isnt the wrost i ever read but it sure could be much better.
Best part of the ending was the MC killing Tyre the god of justice making cry like a little girl before crush his sorry ass because he was by far the most hatefull asshole since that family of witchs he MC offend when he became a warlock.

Besides Ley godness got by far one of the most badass deaths of all time in a Xianxia novel her fall started the biggest war of the universe and pretty much every god wanted to avenge her even her enemys, hell even the MC feel pity for her painless death. How many years in the future did it take for him to return, also what chapter did he return? Did the MC return to the town where Anna was to check up on her and did she leave behind any heir ( I know she didn't have kids). That was fucking sad that she waiting for him for a long time then died.

i think the best way to describe the MC is CaoCao in a fantasy setting. His life philosophy is basically the same.

Btw, What happened with Baelin's girlfriend? You know, the body who was a child of fate or something that he sacrificed to make that coin, he had a girfriend who was a fallen noble but she was never mentioned after the meeting they had with fallen elf prince.

died of old age, their son became a rank 2 mage. he no idea Ley kill his father.
funny thing was, a lot of people thought Ley was his father since Ley ask him about this mother.

Chapter 1000+ Leylin has achieved Level 6 Demigod status.
In the God's world, he's much more of a tyrant. He also advanced from 1-6 in like 20 years (Took his main body 200+).
He's killed millions because they were in his way. I don't think the MW version of him was this ruthless.
Also I'm reading the original which was called Wizard World. Basically the same setup.
Reincarnator wakes up with AI chip and eventually goes to a magic school where he becomes a potions master and has to leave school because it gets attacked.
Not sure which is better, Leylin is definitely more interesting than Angele and he gets more Snusnu as well..haha
Leylin in Gods world already had a lot of knowledge from his 200 years as a Magus, so I don't think you can compare the speed he had in both worlds.

Sadly yes. I was curious so searched the raw for her name and she has no more mentions after that chapter.
Read it long time ago, the only one that has a little bit of relevance, for a few chs, is that girl that was turned into a 'monster'. She reverts to a human form and becomes the 'dean' of that school.
Basically everyone else is forgotten/ died.
That one is Nyssa, oh yah I realized that they left Bicky as some kind of future chapter but I guess she isn't mentioned anymore.

I like this series better than [The Wizard World] which it is a direct copy of (TWW is a little boring).

I think author could have written little more about Final War it's bit too short and especially there are little information on growth of Ouroboros Clan and their actions after Leylin got into 7th Rank

Leylin achieves Rank 9 Wizard and becomes one with the 'Universe'. And he promptly invades his original universe (This is an Isekai novel after all).
Of course to do this he killed almost everyone in the Magus world and Gods world...wow...and he ate the sun while he was at it. Gosh.
Can someone explain the last section? Who is Khalil and why is the other 'Khalil' running away from the monster? (Leylin God)
