Harold went back home for the first time in these five years to take a look at his new born brother.
Harold doesn't have a brother in the game, but it seems that his father Hayden wants to ensure a heir because of Harold's notoriety and reluctance for marriage.

As Harold's mother Jessica is already forty, Hayden "bought" himself a concubine from a former noble family by helping them restore their rank. (Much like what he did with the Sumeragi)
The concubine is the daughter of that family, a 25 years-old young woman called Dorothy.
The name of her son, Harold's brother, is Huey.
Harold felt that he is somehow responsible for Dorothy and Huey and therefore determined to save his family from destruction.

Justus captured a number of the Stella tribe (星詠族, literally means "star chant tribe") underground and called them "base body(素体)"..
Most of them were all unconscious, naked and being kept inside capsules(like in many SF movie).
They will be used in starting up the "system".
Only two Stella, a young man and a teenage girl, were conscious and were highly capable of fighting.
When Harold was back, Justus appointed Harold to be their leader.
Justus explained that he had done something to their special organs, making them emotionless and absolutely obedient to him, like a automaton(he called them "doll").
With the keywords "Stella tribe", "doll" and "emotionless", Harold came up with a hypothesis and had a very bad feeling about that.


How old is he btw? IIRC, the story started when he was 13 or something, so the way he looks on that cover I would judge him to be 16 years old, give or take one year. And since he still isn't grown up, he probably has to look a bit like the "little boy".

Also while he was the villain in the game, he isn't the villain in this story. He still has the not-round eyes typically used for villains/antagonists, and even his face has... "edgy" contours (for lack of a better word)
The story started when he was 10 (part 1). He joined chivalric order at 13 (part 2). Now he is 18 (part 3 and on).
Erika and Ryner are the same age as him.

In the game, the story started just before Ryner's 17th birthday.(Huh? So Harold is actully older than him?)
The plan was that Ryner will receive a treasured sword that his parents found in a ruin when they were still adadventurers, and will leave the village to join the chivalric order.
However, three thieves broke into their house at night, fought and injured Ryner's parents and finally took away the sword.
After helping this parents, Ryner decided to chase down the thieves and left the village.
The fight between Ryner and the thieves is the game tutorial part.
(Ryner's departure in the novel was described in chap 73. He only saw two thieves.)

Harold(Kazuki) already knew from the game that the thieves are sent by Defence minister Harrison.
But he did not know until now that the thieves were also the automatons, who are under Harrison's contorl in the game.
Justus had to give three automatons to Harrison, but since he want to save the base bodies he had, he ordered Harold to pretended to be one of the automatons.

So Harold and the other two went off to meet Harrison that night.
All three of them wore black robe (with hood to cover their faces) and pretended to be mute.

He soon befriended with the villagers and found out that Ryner and Collete were in the clinic with Ryner's parents.
El met them and filled them with the information that the black robes ran towards the near town.
Ryner wanted to chase down the black robes immediately, while Collete thought he should hand the case to the guards because the enemies were too strong for him.
Their argument was stopped by El, who offered help in drawing the portrait of black robes and handing it to the guards.
Of course, he didn't hand it out to conceal information against Harold.
He sent a message to Harold, asking about whether his company accidentally showed his face and warning him about the probability of Ryner starting off alone.
When El was back to where Ryner and Collete were, Ryner was already off for preparation.
El asked Collete why doesn't she consider following Ryner. Collete replied that she is not good at fighting.
Judging from her weapon holders beside her thighs and her close relationship with Ryner's warrior family, El thought that Collete didn't want to fight instead of unable to fight.

Chapter stopped at the moment Harold said his name and Clara immediately opened the door.

Collete's weapon is tonfa. She is a melee type character with the 3rd highest ATK in team members, high HP and DEF.
In exchange, her magic sucks. She has attack spells but only useful against very weak enemies.
She can't learn healing spells while even Ryner can learn the most basic one.
Harold comments that Collete is a character that uses her musclebrain-like status to strike her enemies to death, in very non-girlish way.

It is just a short chapter of El's POV.
The author originally planned to include this part in 81, but then found that that would be too long, so he separated this part into a new chap.
It is all about what El was thinking.
El thought Harold somehow knows that Ryner and Colette have special potential and therefore must get them set off on an adventure.
El also wondered if Harold joined the Chivalric order with the aim to stop the war between two kingdoms from the beginning.
And Harold knows too many things (about Gipfelt) which should be impossible to know.
He finally came up with a hypothesis that Harold has the ability to foreseen future.

Although Colette done well in training, she failed to attack monster due to her fear.
But now, she stood in front of Ryner to protect him.
Ryner used his fire magic to separate Ventus and Lilium, then went on 2:1 on Lilium.
They successfully knocked out Lilium and took back the sword.
But soon the third black robe(a swordman) snatched the sword back and gave it to Ventus. Ventus fled with Lilium.
Black robe swordman blocked Ryner from chasing Ventus.
Feeling the pressure coming from the swordman, Ryner knew he was too strong for them to defeated.
When the swordman finally attacked, Ryner knew that this is the death of him.
But with a sharp sound and a muffled groan, Harold was standing with his back turned on them.

It's not his fault. Erika hided her feelings to him too well.
But I agree that Harold(Kazuki) is dense about positive feelings towards him.
In chap 63 and again in this chapter, he wondered why all those guys such as Ryner and Itsuki seem to like him a lot.
In my view, it seems that Kazuki has a bad habit of sticking to preconceived ideas, so his impression towards Harold is still the same as when he was playing the game.
To Kazuki, Harold Stokes is anything but likable, even if now they are the same person.

Anyway; 86 starts a new mini arc now, and right now doesn't seem to be too relevant to the main plot---- first time dungeon exploration for Harold, a dungeon that didn't appear in the game even, and the dungeon concept seems interesting here (I guess it's sort of rogue like? adventurers need to evade being sigthed by monsters, because the moment you do too strong signs of battle, the whole monster mob of the dungeon will sense it + gang up on you until you are dead). Harold battlemania is showing up, that now he wants to experience battles of one vs many as training; and it looks like another playable character shows up at the end of the chapter, like that, I guess.

Same impression here. I think this is why he overdid with those gigolos in chap 67.
May be he fell for her after the slap like in shoujo manga.:heh:

This Highball Ruin is a large pit (like a well) with circular stairs.

Hahaha, interesting chap in many accounts. While we never got anything other than Hugo's viewpoint, it's obvious that he is a game character since Harold made a place for him to develop; gave him breathing space to fight perfectly since he knew his battle style to the T & closed the day by giving him a tsundere advice and retreated without even giving out his name (totally a shoujo manga ikemen :heh: :heh: )----- It's obvious that Harold perspective about Hugo was saved for later since the guy probably has a good part in the game that the author didn't want to unveil those 2 cents yet.

We also get a bit of Justus-chan perspective and how totally deredere Justus is towards Harold. We are also revealed that Harold "screwed up" big time at their meeting: he acted in a way that was telling of Harold knowing completely who Justus was and even gave hints of knowing his hidden nature. Justus further specualtes that Harold even knows his plans after having the same deduction round & sorting info that Eru had some chaps ago....

...So yeah, ironically Justus has tagged Harold had the biggest obstacle in his path rather than his biggest cooperator (like in the game); so we have another big hint that the game progression is probably going to be totally different and Lyner might even miss some events? and Erika might even get dragged on some more, ah.



Between the info about the specials and the way & speed events spin when they need to, I'm reminded that I really like how the author writes his stuff.

- So, it's revealed that Hugo is party member n°3 for the Hero's group, so when Harold found him far off from his game meeting point with Lyner, Harold was quite distressed; that's why he solved everything so fast and told him his next location.
- Harold thinking that time progression in that world can't be trusted and that he probably can't rely on everything on the game being solved orderly. He also muses that since the last campaign is about a continental danger with armires and stuff, probably Lyner will need more force than the 6 playable character slots avialable in the game.
- Time skips 2 months, Harold still hunting ruins for that fat corrupt and getting those treasures; and getting reports from El on Lyner's actions and how they are matching the game.
- Justus calls Harold, usual tsundere banter and Justus mentions that Rifa has been invastigating too much about Harold and that they should get rid of her.
- Harold internally facepalms and grives on why everyone is taking actions that differ from the game (Colette, Hugo and now Rifa).
- Justus notices how Harold is worried about her and jokes around being bewildered about Harold's loli preferences.....
- Viewpoint changes to Rifa and we are reminded on how she is troubled about Harold since she knows his background thanks to El and thinks that he is about to die thanks to Justus lies; and how she has been trying to do something with the time that there is left...
- She gets gagged and kidnapped. Of course it's Harold, he interrogates her and tells her to stop since her life is at risk.
- The tsundere magic words of "why are you going so far for me" are asked; Rifa tries to play it as gratitude which Harold does not understand, he still asks her to stop and they engage in a bratty argument for over an hour.
- Harold concludes that they can't negotiate, pulls his sword and cut her ropes; Rifa is slightly confused, of course.
- Harold warns her about Justus and that if she just moves freely, she'll be killed by him or his goons. Harold adds that if she wants to help him so badly, she should follow his instructions to a T.
- Harold decides to kick her out of the capital, but he'll tag along to her destination, which is the Sumeragi territory.....


.... Very interesting. I don't think that Harold mentioned before where Rifa meet Lyner, but Harold did want Rifa to be on her hometown before rather than somewhere else; so maybe that's where they'll meet? There is also the fact that Harold might have decided to switch the game objective a little by introducing Erika to Rifa earlier (I already want to see those sparks); there is this posibility that Rifa meets Lyner on the Sumeragi territory (which would be ungame like since you'll get 2 characters there at once). Since Rifa has been tagged as enemy by Justus already, it might be reasonable for Harold to have her move fast; he might also be trying to hide Lyner's existence from Justus by having Rifa made an eye catching action alone instead of in the party (like clearing the miasma Justus spread on that place).

Of course the most interesting thing would be if Rifa does become Harold sworn henchmen and acts with the heroes following his instructions about what's to do.

7. (7Xlvl) Fought with Harold for the third time. Harold died after the battle.

- The reason Lyner and the group stopped at the hose was because they need a permit to cross through a monster terrain or something, Harold mentions that reality isn't like the game where the character can freely walk to where they plase on a map.
- Basically, since all of the people he has known so far are in a single place, they can technically deduce all of the things Harold has done so far (for example, since Hugo is there, if he recognize the tsundere speech patterns, Lyner and Colette would realize that Harold is one of the thieves); Harold describes this as the worst possibility and that there it might be some divinity of death flags that really likes to chase after him :heh: :heh: :heh:
- The biggest shock comes on their introductions, Itsuki casually mentions that Erika is Harold's fiancee, Rifa can't possibly believe that Harold has a friend :heh: :heh: and Lyner does introduce himself as Harold's friend and that he is his goal; which baka gigolo Francis agrees at chasing such a high objective (he is doing the same), and they both muse that a normal amount of effort can't climb so high.
- ..... Then Colette introduces herself as Erika's friend (they promished to become friends on their second meeting back at the martial arts tournament) and Harold takes the biggest shock of the day; since he realizes that Erika might know he saved the maid girl and he is protecting her; and realizes that this would throw out of disorder all of what's supposed to be Erika's catalist for taking actions from the game.
- Harold considers it deeply, and once again comes to the choice of willingly altering the course of the game, and tells Itsuki that they can heal the miasma on the Sumeragi territory for good with the people gathered here, chapter ends.

Also I laughed when Harold was too intimidated by Erika to say anything to Itsuki when he nonchalantly let slip their engagement.

- To stop the device, they need to do a special procedure that Harold himself doesn't know; apparently not unlocking it as it should, produce some sort of bad end escenario with natural disasters.
- They ask again, and Harold assures that undoing the device will solve everything (he remembers that in the game, the released energy goes to the sky, and drops of it fall into the sick people healing them or something).
- Harold shows the device that's causing the problem and explains that it does so by locking the dragon vein, and explains that it's similar to tying up your arms with a rope until necrosis starts; he gives the device that he has to Rifa so that she examinates the proper procedure.
- The justice friends show great motivation to helping and rise their hands to help one after the other; it all goes smoothly until Itsuki volunteers, which Harold and Erika retort (the territory lord is not supposed to do risky stuff like that); and it gets settled with Erika going instead.
- The question of why Harold knows this stuff pops up, he easily answers that he is an acquaintance of the culprit and gives the name straightforwardly, proceeding to expain....

Narration switches to the love strucken wife ( Erika :heh: )

- Time backtracks a little, and her monologue mentions that this is the first time she has experience stomach pain due to stress; since Harold and Colette are there, Colette declaring being her friend on their first meeting is enough for Harold to deduce that Erika knows what's he is hiding about that childhood incident.
- As the discussion progress, she no longer can worry about such a things; something that Erika has longed for long to know >>how to help the people on the territory and how to stop the miasma<< , is mentioned here. Additionally Harold decides to talk about what he has been doing in the past years on his own.
- Harold mentions the border skirmish where he got suspected as a spy and that was 5 years ago. He reveals the nature of the incident to everyone present (that it was not a tribal dispute, but a country vs country one).
- The audience realizes that is weird that he stopped a foreign nation's plot but got blamed as a spy and sentenced to execution; Harold adds that such a thing was since the incident was caused by this side, Justus using that fatty to set everything into motion.
- It's noticed that officially it looks like Justus lended a helping hand and saved Harold from unjust charges, but in fact it's a treacherous move that Justus used to put a collar on him.

As usual, I really do like how things are building up; it looks like Harold is totally going to be the Zordon for this ranger team :heh: :heh: :heh: Of course, what's the best is checking the reaction that the cast has at the issues being revealed, like Hugo realizing that Harold's 2 helpers were part of the kidnapped and experimented on people; or Francis bakctracking to his challenge towards Harold and feeling guilt of not truly knowing his circumstances. I wish it would have been a little more detailed even.

BTW, I love it how Erika's feelings are so prominently shown to the reader, and from Yuno's air during the meeting (kneeling in frustration and clenching fists) I got the feeling she was going to do something stupid (maybe she'll ride Justus on her own? or try to rescue the mind controlled people?). It's also interesting to think what will happen to the 2 captives once they break free; I doubt it'll end with them returning to their tribal lifes; they could team up with El, or maybe even with the Sumeragi due to Yuno's attention to their tribe; perhaps even with Lyner and of course they might swore loyalty to Harold in the end? If so, then he might power level them to be more useful and they'll even get to interact with his family to boot.

Although he wasn't clearly referring to the novel, if he was, then I think we will still get a whole vol.5 as the end of story.

As usual, I really do like how things are building up; it looks like Harold is totally going to be the Zordon for this ranger team :heh: :heh: :heh: Of course, what's the best is checking the reaction that the cast has at the issues being revealed, like Hugo realizing that Harold's 2 helpers were part of the kidnapped and experimented on people; or Francis bakctracking to his challenge towards Harold and feeling guilt of not truly knowing his circumstances. I wish it would have been a little more detailed even.

BTW, I love it how Erika's feelings are so prominently shown to the reader, and from Yuno's air during the meeting (kneeling in frustration and clenching fists) I got the feeling she was going to do something stupid (maybe she'll ride Justus on her own? or try to rescue the mind controlled people?). It's also interesting to think what will happen to the 2 captives once they break free; I doubt it'll end with them returning to their tribal lifes; they could team up with El, or maybe even with the Sumeragi due to Yuno's attention to their tribe; perhaps even with Lyner and of course they might swore loyalty to Harold in the end? If so, then he might power level them to be more useful and they'll even get to interact with his family to boot.

Isn't the game supposed to take about 3 months? Assuming he meant the whole story, I guess he isn't going to extend out the sequence of events. Though I could sort of feel it ramping up to the climax since the whole party's been assembled. I just hope the pacing will still be good.

As he already knew where the machine was from the game, his plan was to go straight to the machine.
Deep in the mountains with thick miasma, Erika started to think again that she would never be needed by Harold and became a little depressed.
Harold came to check on her, but then suddenly hauled her up against his chest with his left hand.
The hold was so tight that Erika could not do anything but feel and enjoy his warmth.
Francis and Yuno showed up and apologized for unable to stop a monster.
Erika realized that Harold protected her and killed the monster.
Harold released Erika later and scolded her for not being focus.
But then he grabbed her wrist and started to walk.
"Huh? Er, Harold-sama?"
"Shut up. Just follow me without a word."
"O, Ok"
Just by simply words like these, Erika felt her energy raising and that she will follow him no matter how far.
"...You are so cunning" She said towards the ground so no one could hear. And there were tears and smile on her face.

- So, Kazuki equates embracing Erika to a girl being sexually harrassed by a guy that they detest (the denial of this guy, you know....); that impression gets stronger since she breaks into tears as he is holding her.
- The reason Harold held her hand was because the device was at visual range, right there; but he could not trust on his mouth to properly deliver the message and he could not afford to leave Erika and Yuno behind. He also thinks that it's the opposite of what happened a little before Itsuki's wedding (where Erika tricked him and guided him through a place by holding hands).
- They get to the location, and around the machine there is a horde of monsters on frenzy state; Harold mentions that in the game it turns into a survival battle of sorts where while Rifa does her stuff, the party (Colette, Lyner, Hugo & Erika) need to fend off the enemies during constant battles.
- In that part of the game, since Erika is the only one with ranged attacks, things can turn grim if she is lost; but Harold notes that circumstances are much better now with Francis and Yuno around.
- Harold talks as if he was going to initially break through the mob alone, which Lyner retorts. Harold invites him to show to him how much stronger Lyner has gotten. Lyner gets ultra pumped up and Harold retorts that this is not a competition between the two of them.
- Narration mentions something that can be hinted as Harold was not interested in settling things himself, but rather had more expectations in the team handling this on their own; Harold calls out to Erika and ask which is the strongest magic she can use.
- She answers with ブラストミーティア (maybe Blast Meteo(a)?); and Harold almost feels dizzy at her answer, since it's a technique that can be acquired at level 50, Harold thinks how is a strong cost & long(?) cast magic that has super strong crowd control abilities; to the point that he mentions that if Erika had it when joining at the time of the game; it would have been enough to completely broke the balance and players wouldn't have relied on the power of the party but on Erika's alone :heh: :heh: :heh:
- Harold really needs to force and calm himself and swallows many things he wants to say, and asks Erika to shoot the magic at the center of the monster horde.
- Horolds casually thinks that this is the first time he sees her cast magic in this world, and of course we have that the light of her magic power looks beautiful and that the intensity of the power around her gives a sense of intimidation.
- The moment of the impact is quite gross with monsters getting blown up all over the place, Harold internally sniffs that the in game Erika who feels reclutance to taste the feeling of killing monsters with her own two hand is nowhere to be seen :heh: :heh: Harold also comes to the conclusion that such magic might be pointed at him one day so he better be careful :heh: :heh: :heh:
- Harold asks her to keep it at that one shot to save magic power for emergencies and calls to Lyner.
- They get to he place and then it comes to the real deal of guarding Rifa while the monsters swarm; because the team was quite stronger than they were at that point of the game, things ended up peacefully without Harold having to do anything reckless. Lyner's party of Colette & Hugo were stronger than in the game, and Lyner had absolutely not problem getting swarmed on monsters and the group had totally no danger while defending; and while Harold thinks of some advice to give them and that the future prospects looks quite good so far, it's obvious that the long lasting impression they give is weaker than Erika who became so over the top. BTW Erika is who killed most number monster since she basically became a firing turret standing next to Rifa.

(Narration again changes to the love ridden maiden Erika) :heh: :heh:

- Erika thinks that just as Harold said, the ailing people are getting healthier and the problem that has grieved their family for so long has been gone thanks to the actions of one tsundereish man.
- Erika thinks to herself that they as the Sumeragi have nothing that Harold would like as a reward, not being able to reward someone who did a good deed is something that troubles her tremendously.
- When they get back home, it's obvious that the issue is going to turn into an official deal with the Sumeragi family giving proper thanks; and Harold wants nothing to do with it which actually surprises Lyner.
- Harold explains the obvious, since he has the position of Justus pawn; it can't be known publicy that he was doing stuff to wreck his plans. Lyner mentions that they should just blow away such a guy, but Harolds mentions that they need to do plenty of stuff before him being tackled.
- Harold and Lyner's argument is basically a parallel line where they keep their own points without touching the other's. Harold confirms Lyner's intention and mentions that if he really wants to defeat Justus, he needs to gain more public recognition and influence.
- Lyner is still impulsed by his justice friend mentality and wants to pull Harold into the battle, Harold throws a snack into his face to shut him up when he was going to mention 'something about Colette' (scoring a basket while Lyner mouth was open :heh: ) and Harold mentions that he needs to impart some strict discipline :heh: :heh:
- As Harold drags Lyner somewhere else, Colette smiles wryly and realizes that basically everyone present is aware of her circumstances that Harold is desperatedly trying to keep under wraps.
- Baka gigolo Francis mentions how he is willing to go with them as he can't let the situation alone as it is; and there is this little bit about Colette feeling strange since she is buddying around royalty and nobilty.
- Rifa thinks to herself that Harold objective this time was for all of them to meet; and since he had a previous acquaintance with everyone, he has been planning this for a long time; Rifa takes it a step further, and that all of them meeting in the Sumeragi territory would have been a long shot otherwise and that probably Harold's objective is something much further than merely solving the miasma issue.
- Rifa points out that the true aim is obvious since Harold mentioned his past and spoke about Justus true aims & methods, and while putting together a team that will aim at doc on the outside, Harold will keep himself on the inside and will keep trying to disturb the plan from that place as well. That's obviously a dangerous position, but Rifa points out that Harold thinks of Justus plan as something dangerous enough that he has to place himself in there.
- Erika then steps in and after Francis she tells Colette that she will be travelling with them as well; which makes Rifa realize that Erika had the same deduction rounds that she just had and that Erika also plans on becoming Harold's strength at all costs.
- Erika actually mentions it; that this not only goes in league with her beliefs, but that for the sake her brother, her father and the Sumeragi as a whole; she herself has something that she has to do by all means.
- Itsuki looks at the full of determination face of his younger sibling that rarely voices any selfish request and asks their father to relent.
- Tatsuku mentions that no mattering how much he might feel like stopping her, he can't oppose the sight of such eyes.
- Erika is innerly overjoyed, because this act is a clear tell that her brother and father recognize the value of her inner self as an adult and a person who acts on her own violition, she again asks Colette.
- Colette gets all super nervious with the strong ambiance and calls Lyner for help (good luck sneaking out of Harold sgt Hartman lesson).
- Erika notices that since Harold is strict to himself, he is naturally strict to others when teaching something; and Erika notices that such clumsiness is the shape of his kindness, Erika stretches her greetings to Rifa.
- Rifa actually teases Erika calling her tomboy ojou-sama which actually makes Erika smile, since it's the first time that she gets called anything like that.
- Rifa's monologue mentions the obvious, that herself and Erika are the same and that they are plenty of willing to make self-sacrifices as long as they get to become Harold's strength.
- Erika and Rifa casually mention that they are placed in a hard place thanks to the harshness of a selfish guy and they laugh merrily, clear sky like smiles that hold no grief.



BTW, the author metioned that the amount of impressions he gets is much higher when Erika has room to be maidenly as she is, "as expected of the main heroine" :heh: :heh:

Oh, and I remember that Harold mentioned that to the player fanbase, Erika was the most well liked heoine.

Justus suspects Harold has knowledge of the future and may be working against him, if I recall correctly. Pretty sure Justus has decided to kill Harold for that reason as well. You can find the details in the chapter summaries posted here.

Otherwise, Harold does orchestrate events a bit in a villainous way with regards to Ryner, but under orders and to inspire Ryner to set out against Justus. Aside from that though, I don't think he does anything particularly shady to 'raise the hero party fame', as it were.

Whatever, let's do that", Kazuki is the only person Harold listen to asides from his parents
And remember that time at the Stellar Tribe conflict when Kazuki was in a pinch and desperatly called the original's Harold for help ? And Harold immediatly helping

Ahem, Kazuki and Harold ain't the same person, though they started sharing a body after Kazuki possessed Harold when Kazuki was 19 and Harold 10
And I didn't say it had to include f*cking, I just think their relationship is sweet as hell. with Harold being protective of Kazuki though Kazuki never really notice, and agreeing to what Kazuki does. And Kazuki kinda rescued Harold of his parent's influence, because Harold kinda never had anyone else for him.

For my defense, it's the author that stopped using Kazuki (except for a few rare occasions), now he says Harold and "original Harold". And since it's from Harold's pov, I think he's trying to say that Kazuki now accepts that he's Harold, and the personalities are mixing more and more... or something along those lines :D

That depends on the chapter's length, but usually I do one chapter a week. When the author will get back to posting chapters regularly (if he ever does) I might do two chapters a week, like I used to, but right now I can't ><

I'm not right now, and I'm not sure I will. College's coming, I was told this year will be a little difficult study-wise, so I'll see if I can balance my translations with that in the coming months. Oh wow, there was actually an update last month as chapter 101 is up.

Its a direct continuation from last chapter's fight as a new 'factor' may have just made things turn for the worst.

Cody shot at Vincent's hand and broke the potion. Harold gave a final blow to knock Vincent out.
Cody was stalking Vincent because he acted strange lately.
Harold healed Vincent and asked Cody to carry Vincent to his men.
They transferred Vincent to the closest hospital to check on his injuries.
In the hospital, Harold told Cody that Vincent was brainwashed by Justus and that Justus was responsible to the events 5 year ago.
When Cody asked about Justus' intention, Vincent waked up and told them that he wanted to hear it too.

Other information:
In the game, Cody killed Vincent.
Harold is able to heal and he heal A LOT. Even higher than Erika.

When did he even learn healing magic though? It makes sense he would try to but there was no lead up to it. Like Erika was the one who would have to heal his wounds when they were growing up, so I guess he had to pick it up under Justus.

I guess we'll have to wait to see what the fallout of Harold using the sword for that long is later.

The in-game Harold was a mid-boss & a high leveled all-rounder so it wasn't that surprising.

But yeah, it can be argued that that particular skill seemingly just came out of nowhere but on the other hand can also be said that aside from that time in the forest long ago, this is one of the few times he was actually forced to use/reveal it.
