Plot Summary:
The anime is set in a continent ruled by sword and magic called Kunaaan, where a power balance between the Holy Kingdom of Amoria, the Kingdom of Ishilfen, and the Vanrodis Kingdom keeps a peace so unstable that any tragedy that befalls any one kingdom will mean war for the entire continent. Another power, the evil dragon Daganzord, also resides on the continent, and no one is powerful enough to stop him from spreading destruction and charred land in his wake. Two individuals, Bairo and Kismitete, undertook a ritual alongside a party of wizards to seal Daganzord, but were foiled. This event was known thereafter as the Balbagoa Tragedy. Bairo and Kismitete's son Hiiro is saved by Giiru, and Hiiro swears to avenge his parents' deaths and trains himself with the sword. When Hiiro turns 16, he sets out on a journey to slay the dragon, and Giruu accompanies him, having no choice. Along the way, they meet many types of people, and gain companions on their journey.

Premise sounded a bit too much like Chaos Dragon, but I'll watch it anyways, since mobage adaptations tend to be surprisingly less terrible (from the titles I have watched).

The character designs looked like it straight up come out from a kids' show, here's hoping it will be very enjoyable on some level.

I get the protagonist has to be one of the most Kirito lookalikes ever, with the only thing that distinguishes him being the red trims on his clothes, but the PV doesn't seem too bad at presenting what it accomplished to do to attract the viewers despite the average animation. It's expected to turn out at least likely not hard to end up being better as Chaos Dragon seeing there's no out-of-place CGI and forced edgyness to be seen.

He looks a bit identical because of his black hair that is shaped a little similar like him, wears black clothes with trims of another color and a double-edge sword (even though it looks different this time), but that's just me. Plus they both share the exact same voice actor too.

I'm not trying to complain about it, but that is something that irked me in a weird way.

The show wasn't on my radar before. But the PV changed that. I'm always willing to give a sword & sorcery show a try.

I dunno, he looks a bit too edgelord-ish to me to be channeling Kirito all that much. It's like he hit up the fantasy world equivalent of a Hot Topic before setting out. :heh: Plus, it's not like Kirito owns the monopoly on "male protag with black hair and long dark jacket/cloak" -- that was a cliched look long before he even existed.

In any case, the PV wasn't terrible. Cheap production value, but nothing glaringly awful. Could be a nice thing to watch on the side if someone needs their fantasy fix, but isn't looking for some masterpiece. As long as it doesn't have some pretentious phantom child showing up in the protag's mind every five minutes in each episode (http://myanimelist.net/anime/31710/Divine_Gate), it shouldn't offend anybody.

ugh... i'm starting to hate the voice. that looks, that style and that color. it also didn't helped that I'm grinding in disgaea 5 right now that I've been forced to see him for hours.

I'll give this one a try. The pv isn't that bad but that voice + looks... and that script... ugh.

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will stream Cerberus (Seisen Cerberus: Ryūkoku no Fatalite), the television anime adaptation of GREE's Seisen Cerberus mobile game. The stream will premiere on Monday, April 4 at 2:15 EDT, though the territories have not yet been announced as of press time.

Well that was alright. Not the most amazing thing ever, but pretty decent.

The MC does go between looking like a badass to an idiot pretty often. Getting serious at times, but also being pretty childish in having those kid thieves chasing him around.

And then hey the last boss shows up right at the end of the first episode to cause havoc :heh:.

It looks like Hiiro parents pulled of Dragon heart save. Good for them. Let's see if final boss can be reeducated into obedient pet. I also hope shota is reverse trap, it would be waste if it was really boy.
