Original Title: ウォルテニア戦記
Romaji: Wortenia Senki (Record of Wortenia war)
Author: Ryota Hori (保利亮太)
Illustrator: bob
Publisher: HJ Novels
NCode: n1898i
High school student Mikoshiba Ryouma was summoned to a different world in the middle of war. Knowing that the one that summoned him (a summoner of the Orthomea empire) wanted to use force on him, he uses his martial arts on him and his guards and runs away, killing important people of the empire on his escape. One day, he rescues two twin sisters that were caught by thieves, both girls (which are by the way capable of legal administration) swear to serve him as subordinates, now Ryouma starts to walk on the path of the supreme ruler.
From what I have seen, the novel doesn't seem to have harem or an overpowered MC (the main character knows martial arts and it's naturally talented at armed and unarmed combat, but I wouldn't say overpowered).

Can I have some spoilers about the two ladies out to kill him?
Considering that the blond appeared in the cover for Vol 6, I'm guessing she's staying for the ride. And it seems that his friend from his old world - Asakura - came over too. Probably a ploy by the kingdom to get to him.

"Supreme ruler" ,
sound like some Chinese novel about fantasy world with game system support to help MC leveling to being stronger and pork more gal in his way .

Didn't this had a thread already or something? I remember seeing this before and not only in the narou thread.
Objectively speaking, for many years this was one of the best reads that narou had, but then update frequency became all weird and thus this naturally dropped off everyone's reading list.
Of course this isn't 100% perfect, but it was quite fun if you could look pass certain stuff, and most of the arcs where pretty fulfilling to complete reading; and it's actually quite good that the MC actually needs to do different stuff in each arc, that really set this apart from other isekai stories for me.
Looking at the manga (6 chaps in the official site), it looks like some stuff is being brushed up, so we can expect this being more polished? Also, I remember that in the web novel Ryouma's childhood friend was never brough up again, but LN6 preview text hints that she is going to show up..... Maybe she'll even de-psycho him a little so that he opens up to the idea of romance? I wouldn't hold that many hopes, though :heh: :heh: :heh: :heh:
edit : Ah, one of the other good things of this novel is not that every summoned person is a dumbass japanese high schooler. There are adults and foreigns (who are obviously kick ass).
OP? Not sure.
Badass? F*** yes!
There are 4 manga chaps translated out there already
see the spoiler for volume 1 on other site seem like to be a veryyy good ride
and the MC is so damn badass
still feel sorry for the 1-2 innocence life who died by his hand tho since the only scumbag are the one that summoned and try enslave him
now I really would like to know what going to happen next
Read the first chapter of the manga.. I was hooked.. Dam that was awesome.
Read some of the WN translation (only up to 9?) and well the writing for epilogue was horrible and cringy. Author makes so much shitty stuff up and paints the MC as a submissive looser type. For example, he tries to explain how a season warrior can dodge incoming sword strikes, yet hes unable to to dodge a regular girl with a laddle. That shits bs and cringe worthy. Its like saying a pro baseball batter can smash fast balls and curve balls out of the park, but give him a nice slow underarm and he messes it up every time. Shit doesnt work like that. However once he gets summoned, thats when the good stuff happens. His personality changes for the better compared to the beginning chapters (which is really just the authors bad writing in the beginning).
I want to read this if it gets more translations. I am interested in a "competent" MC whos not gifted OP power. Its his own strength to begin with. He actually feels like a pro. Its interesting how an evil empire was summoing people just so they could conquer the world, and now they paint the MC as the badguy. They think hes the unjust one for killing in self defense :p
^is the MC op - kinda. is this a harem - kinda? is there a snu-snu - yes?
^^ I've read the first two vols of the WN and judging based solely on those...
Not broken OP since he can't use magic, but he's able to defeat highly skilled magic swordsman type people using only his physical abilities. He has a pair of slave, former knight, sisters along with him, but no romance going on whatsoever.
I planned to read this a year ago or so, since the story seems quite intriguing with the a bit psycho mc, I remember the update speed and characters count cools down my interest instantly back then.
Just checking it again now, and still nope .. 800k characters since late 2009, wth?
^^^Why a question mark?
^^Okashira said no romance too. But NU page said harem and romance wtf?
^Right, this was ongoing for 7 years already :D
Based on the theme this should develop like Oukoku or at least Hachinan, but apparently not? Amazon's low rating is correct?
Novelupdates tags are many times wrong. Do not really count on them.

@Wuhugm: I was tricked lol, rushed reading 186 chapters and no actual show romance, only hint of romance...
For usual questions:
1. MC is OP but nót the kind of 1 vs an army
2. There are hints that the two girl he saved love him.
3. Only snusnu with random mob character for plot convenient
This one is quite good to read since it's not your usual isekai story with hetare main char, Ryouma really know how to use his head in critical situation.
Villains are not your plain and they know how to manipulate the others well.
^Oh, it's Sugar style :heh:
Regarding his intellect, Amazon's reviewers viewed it negatively saying while they can understand his physical OP coz he trained martial arts, his naisei skills had no basis whatsoever, to the point of saying he has no need for subordinates since he can do everything himself.
They also said why is this "normal" highschooler started killing people abruptly :heh:

@wuhugm: yup one of the major problem about this novel is that his ability in strategy, politic, management and human psychology reading is way too OP such that I dont know what the heck he has gone through his childhood
^Probably just can't make distinction between Author's Ability and Protagonist's Ability
I like this kind of MC. I guess lot of japanese is wimpy for not love the MC
Yeah, the reason behind the MC's strategical mind is one of the biggest flaws about this from what I've seen. You can take a bit of a stretch and say the human psychology thing is an extension of his martial arts due to the nature of the style he learned and his grandfather who taught him, but all the strategical and political finesse of his is simply copped out to being "because Earth has a longer history of it and is further progressed" which is utter BS since it's not like in-depth reading into that kind of stuff is included in a standard high school education.
edit: As a side note, even the first other native Japanese the MC meets in this isekai finds the MC extremely abnormal.
the manga is pretty good, though.
When MC will fight monsters? Because so far (I am on ~41 of web novel) he deals with humans and politics only
Ah, so the author is still trying to explain bullshit throughout the whole story:/ That kinda sucks :/
Kinda mixed feelings about the romance part tho.. I mean it doesn't necessary need romances for a story to be good. Dont get why people get their jimmies rustled over it. But if theres a few instances where they are flirting and such instead. Then that could be fun, as long as they make those close bonds. Sometimes going head first into romance and making lovers can distract the story. So I dont think its a bad thing without romance. But it depends on the author I guess, and so far hes showing hes pretty incompetent. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt he just had a bad start. But from the comments, doesn't seem like it ><

@ChuckE: This novel focuses mainly on war and conflict between nations, between human and sub human, between summoned people and the ones summoned them so don't expect much about dealing with monster. As long as I have read, there are very few fights against monster.
When MC will fight monsters? Because so far (I am on ~41 of web novel) he deals with humans and politics only
I haven't checked myself to be sure, but at the end of the second WN arc (ch 69 or so), it's mentioned that the next place the MC will be going to is overrun with powerful monsters and various demi-human races.

Naaaah, each arc for this is a bunch of text; and it also seems that the author is adding more LN original events so I doubt that the 'conversion' is 1 arc 1 volume.
Rather, the preview text from the novel hints that LN VI is still winthin the 3rd arc (which started being adapted in vol V, and btw vol IV ended arc 2, all of this judging by the text previews).
.... Thinking about it, I don't think I have ever seen any narou work ever being adapted to 1 arc 1 volume.

I want to know the direction they're going to take once escape to other countries with the threat of empire still around
The MC's party gets forced into taking a job by a guild master to be scapegoats, and as a result, get involved in a civil war with the only way to prove their innocence being to take part in the war and have princess support their opinion in the matter. Long story short, MC becomes known and feared for being a ruthless and demonic strategist, bringing the faction he supported from the verge of annihilation to winning the whole war. In the background, the whole civil war was a plot by the country that had summoned the MC (with the guy who planned it being that mage he killed in the beginning) to weaken the countries in that region so that they could easily conquer them afterward. The MC unknowing almost ruining that plan for them has their secret agent suggest to the princess the MC helped into granting him peerage and territory (the territory being one that's part of the country in name only as no citizens live there, only the indigenous tribes, and swarming with powerful monsters, not to mention it's almost entirely bare wilderness) to bind him in place, which the princess jumps on because she was frightened of the MC due to the abilities he had displayed during the civil war and was sure that she would definitely lose if he were to turn against her. The MC's response to this is that since she went back on her initial promise to let him go after everything is over, he plays things up so that his territory is practically completely independent from the princess' country.
Side note, this is where the reason behind the name of this series comes from. The territory he gains is the Wortenia Penninsula.

Thank you for summary ><
damn this really a good stuff MC never fail to bring a ruthless badass
and the empire deserve everything that will happen to them follow by the awaken of this monster....
For a few examples of the "ruthless" strategies the MC employs which lead to him being called a demon/devil...
In a defensive siege-like battle, he had a giant empty moat around a built-in-a-few-hours fort (used that world's magic to build it so quickly, which in a world where magic is used solely for combat, baffled the enemy out of their wits and there was a side note about this bringing about new innovation) beside a giant river, and once the enemy had filled up the moat to a certain point, he had the breakwater on the upstream part of the moat taken down to flash flood the moat, and since very few people in this world know how to swim, thus drowned a very large portion of the enemy army to death and any survivors/prisoners were all killed.
That started the MC's fame as a demon/devil in the surroundings (which he purposely spread rumours about to reduce the number of civilians that would be drafted to fight). The MC then makes use of his infamy later for the final battle where he spreads rumours that his faction sent people to burn the opposing nobles' territories to the ground. This was of course fake since that would weaken the country too much post-war, but due to his infamy for being so ruthless, all the nobles that had gathered together for the final battle ran back to their territories to protect them.
Now that what we call a demon strategist...
this guy is damn merciless

Huh. Maybe it's just because I read RoTK already, but that strategy doesn't seem demonic to me. IN fact, I can remember 2-3 cases where that strategy wins a decisive battle. (Xia Pi and Jing Province comes to mind)

You don't need 8 Genius. I mean, the one that pulled the water trick at Jing wasn't anybody known in story as a super genius.
Though like I said, maybe it's because I read RoTK already.
I can agree that the strategy itself might not all that great from the RoTK expert POV
trap/lure and burn, drown or ambush is indeed pretty common in brutal warring era like RoTK
heck it one of my most use strategies in those RoTK game when facing a massive armies
but for a 16 yr old to pull something like that
while "mercilessly killed every survival and prisoner" for the sake of his another goal
did qualified him as demon in someway
this world citizen tho seem to relied purely on magic and brute force more than strategy
It should be noted that in this world, not everyone can use magic, which along with the fact that one magic user = several regular people in terms of combat strength, plays a part in the class/noble system. It's mentioned multiple times in WN vol 2 that it's because of this that knights (which are essentially armoured magic soldiers in this world) are powerful (they wear full plate armour yet still move around like they're wearing leather armour for example), but at the same time, causes knights in this world to not be as used to working together in combat (which I find strange seeing as that should not be the case since they serve the country and all, but suspension of disbelief I suppose).
This is not to say that knights can't work together at all or are terrible commanders/strategists, because they definitely can do so if need be. But in terms of combat, they're treated something more like the heavy artillery I suppose rather than like the knights of our world.

^ In addition they have too high pride and some even blindly believe in loyalty, which make them bad strategists and really hard to work together.

MC tried all god that he knows to no avail. From ancient god to Glorious monoteism god. None answer him, or bother to answer him.
To be more specific, there was a list of names of gods that previous summoned people attempted to use in order to go back to Earth, but all of the names the MC could think of were already in there.

That is it. The god as well might be dead or just not exist at all and Earth just has some natural barrier. Or maybe all the gods combined are needed to pass the barrier.
If it were more mysterious novel, it might be that the world where MC was transported is artificial.

Lol. Such a vicious slander of the poor maid, she is actually the only one working for the good (well... who knows whether good) of the Earth.
Actually, if the Earth gods were responding to all the transported guys from all series, they would have to prepare some massive call center.
But serioously, if Earth gods don't bother to answer people on the Earth (or at least rarely), how high is the chance of them answering a guy from different world?
Actually, why was he so terribly distressed that he can't return? I don't remember him having any real attachement to the Earth (though I might have forgotten it, as I stopped reading it quite a while ago).
Tough the least Earth gods could do is protect people from being summoned in the first place.

From what I read ( google translate )
Ninja first generation entire village got summoned to this world several hundred year ago
They have no way to go back so they continue their way in new world as an assassin for noble who willing to employ them
They said to Ryouma how people from the Japan ( using old Japan name ) that got summoned later on forgot the fighting way and one of them show interested in Ryouma and his skill in combat
In the end, they believe that Ryouma might be the one to change their fate which also depend on the result from the civil war in Roseria Kingdom (at the end on Vol 2)

Can anybody share to explain what happens in volume 6 of the light novel? Does the empire, namely the bitch princess decide to use his childhood friend against him?
From what I understood with Google translate
In the empire the summoned ones, led by Sudo are in a hidden campaign to break the empire from within (the reason should be obvious: revenge against the summoning and enslavement)
In the Roselia kingdom Ryouma conquers a province which is next to his own Wortenia penninsula and it seems that he wants to conquer the entire kingdom as 'revenge' against Queen Lupis (it was mentioned in volume 3 that Ryouma was not pleased with getting a province and a title (not to mention that this province was overrun by monsters and pirates and there was no authority making the title hollow)
This has been on my mind for some time now, if the main character hates being given a title and territory so much then why didn't he just refuse when it was given or leave after it was given?

Because if he did that, he would be killed on the spot, and there were some people that was hoping for that to happen. The only way out was to get stronger than his enemies and he needed time for that.

One of this series's most annoying occurence is that the intelligence level of this world's citizens is too low or maybe the author set the Earthling's brain IQ too high.... Anyway in short, it goes like this:
- MC went freaking badass made a complete turn over for the (pig-brain) princess's faction and win their coup de tat (even though the princess's faction always made things harder for him) in a short time.
- Princess and her (muscle brain) retainers got scared of his prowess both mind and power as well as charisma.
- Got sweet talked by another Earthling who worked for the Empire saying: "This man's power is too great... If u let him go then other nations will surely get him to join them and while u may have trouble if u give him too much power so just give him a title ( for show) and useless lands to make a birdcage for him. This is for your country's sake" XD.
- She took that ideal and waited for him to completely help her success then turn back to stab him from behind by threatening him in her palace in front of many vassals. ( She didn't even try to believe in his promise to disappear and live a reclused life, thus starting from there she stood top of his blacklist XD)

The thing is the MC is 16 at that point (in the latest raws he is 20 i think). How can a 16 year old guy have such a huge understanding on tactics and politics? This is to me a loophole in this whole novel. I mean I personally like it the MC is calm and makes hard cold decisions depending on the situation. I get that he is a formidable fighter thanks to the training in 'sure-kill' martial arts but he is also a (so far) flawless strategist / politican. Like he is a reborn Sun Tzu or Machiavelli ;)

Yeah, main character is too capable for his age. It is as he 94 old man who spent his life in military and politics:heh:
I would be appreciate if the MC start as early 20 as well it would fit more with the setting and how this MC is a very tall person for his age
16 is a bit too young and most teenager out there is still the very definition of "Naive"
I don't understand why JP story in particular need to have MC age around 16-18

Well the running gag of this novel is that Ryouma is always estimated as a 20+ years old person despite him being 16. And the difference between his age and capabilities start to appear in volume 2, volume 1 was more 'realistic' in my opinion.

Just because we're not in that environment doesn't mean we don't have that talent.
Take Galusha Pennypacker in the US civil war as an example, joined the union army at the age of 16 and was a brigadier general when he was 20 with no formal military training, some people are just natrally talented at certain things.

he was prompted to brigadier general because they thought he was going to dead. If the wound was less serious he wouldn't have been prompted. Also he became a colonel when he stay with the army after war and join the army for real.
just read on wiki that pennypacker came form a family with a long service in the military so in a way he was raise in the kind of environment.

No he wasn't he was raised by his grandmother as his parents where dead, and had no formal training, unlike say custer who was also young but went to west point.
I tried this , but after it got into the whole 'infiltrate the government to save the princess', it sorta bored me.
I was thinking it was more about growth in his personal power and the power of the 2 sister.

To be honest the latest Manga chapter hints more for heroines then the novel. In the novel we only get small glimpses of heroines (the Malfisto sisters are the only noticeable so far but in the novel they don't get much 'screentime') but no development so far.

In the manga is sure looks like that while in the novel:
Lione and her mercenary group stay with Ryouma through the Roseria civil war and even after that. When Ryouma manages to obtain magic (Volume 3 of the novel) Lione cares for the exhausted Ryouma and one might get the impression that she wants to be more then just comrades in arms.

For those commenting on protagonist's ability, it's pretty clear he's a mary-sue character. That's like calling the sky blue or the sun bright, a 16 year old can't manage what he does both physically and physiologically. At the very least he doesn't have the backstory to excuse anything but good swordsmanship and survival skills.

It's different. Lupis is the princess / now queen of the Roseria kingdom. Princess Shaldina is from the Empire the country who uses the summong ritual to periodically summon other humans and turn them into slaves. Well with Ryouma this backfired and he killed one of their most important mages / strategists.

Uh... Sardina is the princess that Saitou served under. She's arrogant, probably, but not a brat at all. She seems to be extremely confident, but not to the point of arrogance since she did chose the other path during the confrontation with MC early on.
Lupis isn't indecisive, she's just too young and sheltered and played by everyone around her. More like incompetent and surrounded by incompetent idiots or opportunistic bastard (except for Elena)
Well, Sardina somehow got a very good instinct that Ryouma must be aware of. She even know where he was most likely headed and able to judge with a slight intel.

Probably later. Right now in the translation he's technically under Lupus since the Wortenia Peninsula is a territory in Rosaria.
He's not a big fan of Lupus tho (understatement here) after the stunt she pulled so right now he's building up his forces and finding a way to separate from her.
PS: is it weird that I hope Sardina become his allies later?

They might become allies of convenience since
Some of the summoned japanese (Sudo and Saito) within the empire are conspiring to create a revolt within the empire (I think it is mentioned in volume 5 in the WN). The reason should be obvious they were made servants of the empire against their will.
Latest manga chapter is it just me or does Lupis look a lot more confident then she is described in the WN?

If I remember correctly she is described as intelligent yet powerless type
despite the actual inexperience and indecisiveness in reality which greatly overshadowed her outer exterior
so this manga version should be accurate
Well, in the manga Ryouma describe Sardina as someone that can't be messed up with because she know exactly where he will be going even in the end it goes messed up. Still, i wonder how to break the curse from someone that has already donned into such.

I kind of thought that the reason that happened was that Ryouma (at least) know about the threat she'll be (and not being careless about her), along with the sisters being there him.

Slave is different than the ones that was summoned into this world. If you are talking about those twins, they are the Battle Slaves and know how to perform it while Saitou somehow has a curse only donned by the spellcaster or maybe court magicians, most likely to prevent them from betraying the faction.

No I was talking about the slave curse the empire tried to use on Ryouma. Rora and Sara had a slave collar which prevented them from being a threat at all but Saito for example seems to be a free man (at least from the outer appearance). I call it slave curse but perhaps there is a better way of naming it.

I think this is the only Novel I've read where beautiful Princess/Queen is not equal to having peaceful reign of her Kingdom. Kinda feel bad for Lupis but she brought this on herself. I did like how that Princess from the Empire suffered a crushing defeat even though she was introduced as a capable general at first. Turns out the summoned people are not just blindly following the Empire and have an agenda of their own. I actually symphatize more for their cause than Ryouma's.
And I agree with some of you. Ryouma is a Gary Stu. It's not so much as he's intelligent but those around him are being dumb down by the Author so that Ryouma can shine. :(

Hi, I was thinking about giving this story a try. But I’d like to know some things first. From what I know, the MC actually not only escaped from being a slave from the country that summoned him and had twin sisters serving him, but he even helped with a civil war of another kingdom and was given a title and territory from said kingdom once it was finished. But if that is the case, how did the Princess betrayed him?
And has he already made his territory independent and even gotten revenge on said princess/queen? Also, does the Queen actually hate more or fear him?
^ The reason the MC got involved in the civil war in the first place was because a guild master forced his party to be decoys for the coup faction of the civil war (which is a breach of conduct since the guild is supposed to be neutral) and since the MC was essentially a nameless newbie at this point in time against a guild master, he needed a guarantor to back him up when petitioning about this to the guild. Thus the deal was that he help the princess defeat the coup faction in exchange for her being his guarantor and he would go back to doing what he was before the whole incident after everything is said and done.
Then just as the MC thought everything was over and he could go back on his way, she did that heel face turn (suggested by a spy of the kingdom that summoned the MC) and forcefully bound him to her kingdom in an attempt to restrain him out of fear of the abilities he had displayed during the civil war. Since she could go back on being his guarantor in petitioning to the guild (which without one, he and the other adventurers that were on the decoy mission would be branded as traitors to the guild), he had no choice but to accept the title and territory. So in retaliation, accepted after forcing onto the princess conditions that would essentially make his territory completely independent and decided to bide his time building up power to revolt and get pay back.

The original deal was he will help Princess Lupis to win in the Civil war in exchange she clears his name because one of his opponents who framed him is an influential Guild Master. Afterwards he would then leave the Rozeria Kingdom. Unfortunately once the war was over Lupis and her idiotic band of incompetence grew fearful of his ability to lead in war and they didn't want him to ally with another country and becoming enemies with them. So they force into him a noble title and gave him a territory full of problems with Monsters and pirates as a "reward" for his contribution in the war. They made it so that if he refused he and his group will be killed on site. Ryouma felt betrayed because that was not the original deal so Lupis and her group climbed at the top of his Hitlist.
Recent TL he is still in the process of getting his revenge. The Queen fears him but she doesn't really hate him.
^ The guild master that forced them on the mission wasn't the MC's enemy or anything. He simply head hunted the MC's party because one of the knight sisters coincidentally looked like the person he needed a decoy for.

Unfornately she's the kind of retainer that is clueless. Think about it, her way of recruiting allies for their faction is to compel their honor and duty to their country. That's fine and dandy but nobles are a greedy bunch and would want compensation like lands or wealth for their help so she was failing in her attempts because she never offered rewards. Ryouma had to take over the recruitment so they can get help. She also fails to give good advice to the princess in terms of politics and keeps telling Lupis that she's doing a good job when it's the opposite.
Frankly the Author is to blame for dumbing down everybody so that Ryouma can come in and look "smart".

That depends on which nobles? Some that don't have a bad impression of Ryouma are with Lupis because they are too busy trying to stabilize the kingdom which isn't going well because Lupis idiotic rule.

Well, there were people that did respect Ryouma; Earl Bergston and Earl Zeref. The problem is that the author was rather vague about the nobles who respected Ryouma felt about betraying him. All we know is that the nobles feared him. In V2Ch40, Elena tells her adjutant that her and some people (assuming the nobles) were discussing what to do with Ryouma after the war ended and they all proposed assassinating him. In V2Ch41, Meltina tells Lupis that the nobles proposed assassinating Ryouma. We don’t know if Bergston and Zeref felt the same way. No one didn’t even try to make some sort of deal with Ryouma before deciding to send him off to Wortenia.
In other stories the author made the mc plain retarded while this one have other characters retarded. I guess you just can't help it.
In short, it's difficult to find the right kind of balance without making it seem unnatural.

As of yet, no.
As of the fifth volume of the VN, the Rozeria Kingdom gets worse due to Gerhardt’s influence. People working under Gerhardt are being harassed to the point that they start a rebellion (it’s believed that Ryouma caused the rebellion as a distraction) and as a result, Bergston, Zeref, and Elena (the three most important people within Rozeria) abandon Lupis and switch sides with Ryouma. Ryouma didn’t have to do much to Lupis since the kingdom was already ruined without him doing much to it. Lupis is still alive (she fainted when she heard about the rebellion) so Ryouma hasn’t gotten to her yet.
We’re about 30 chapters away from catching up to the author, though there’s not much updates of the WN for sometime now.

Those people that are doing the rebellion are not under Gerhardt. They are just ordinary common people who had enough of the what the Kingdom is doing to them. Ryouma had nothing to do with this. Rather it was Gerhardt who instigated this in the first place. Those corrupt tax collectors and nobles are the one's following Gerhardt's order to impose tremendous taxes to the common people using Lupis' name to destabalize her rule which resulted in them rebelling. It's not helping that the summoned people like Sudou and Saito behind the scenes that are furthering the chaos so they can watch this world burn.
Lupis really shouldn't have accepted Gerhardt's terms of surrender: sparing his life in exchange for the life of that moronic retainer of hers, Mikhail Banashu. She had a chance to cut the head of the snake but didn't and now she's reaping what she sown.

My bad. I meant to say that those under Gerhardt were harassing the citizens who decided to rebel. I believed that it was Ryouma because Elliot, who was working with the tax collector and is Sudou’s ally, was surprised by the rebellion taking place. He was trying to stage a rebellion but it happened much sooner than expected and many nobles and knights were wondering who the culprit is.

A more effective plan would have been to accept the terms but go back on their word later. Once they had entered Irachion castle and made sure Mikhail was within their grasp, they could have just execute Gerhardt and his loyal subordinates. They had outnumbered them and are at a advantage where they could just wipe Gerhardt and his forces off the map. Even if they had refused to spare Gerhardt, there’s a good chance that Gerhardt would have fled to another kingdom and they would have to deal with him at a later date.
Ryouma shouldn’t let Gerhardt lived even if Lupis wouldn’t agree to this plan. Gerhardt got Ryouma involved in the first place (well, it was Kyle, but I would still blame Gerhardt to a certain extent) and there’s a good chance that Gerhardt would hire other assassins to kill Ryouma out of revenge because Ryouma was the one who thwarted all of his plans. Sure Ryouma has ninjas but they were hired by Gerhardt in the first place, meaning that Gerhardt could hire someone even better. Ryouma should use whatever means possible to get rid of Gerhardt so that he wouldn’t be a threat to him in the future.

What are you saying? Ryouma did have a hand in it just like the other actors (Sudou's group). Ryouma knew it was going to happen and let it happen, and used the rebellion to take over the strongest Noble stronghold in the North. Also, did you forget that Ryouma sent out the Ninja's to accelerate the rebellion sooner than expected (Sudou's group's henchmen were surprised by the sooner than expected violent response by the townsfolk). The first arrow that killed a tax collector was from a ninja employed by Ryouma, most likely 99% certainty. That was a pivotal moment where the townsfolk were left with no choice but to defend themselves since the nobles would never believe their innocence, hence the situation could only escalate thanks to that killing shot made by an unknown perpetrator (Ryouma's ninja).
Ryouma hated Lupis a long time ago prior to that decisive moment. Nothing is more dangerous than incompetent allies. Not to mention the fact that other worlders in this novel have zero loyalty to any nation in this new world; majority of them even want to see the world burn up in flames. The male other worlders became slave soldiers, while the women were sexually abused in various ways by the nobles (who did it maliciously in front of the female other worlder's lovers, etc).

Ryouma already knew Lupis' reign hangs in limbo unless she manage to build a power base which she utterly failed. He gave a prediction of 5 years but he was surprised that things degenerated much earlier than he anticipated when he went to visit the Kingdom capital and saw the state of things. This is why I think Ryouma had nothing to do with starting the rebellion. He knew it would happen eventually but until then he's been busy improving his own power base in preparation for that moment.
There's no evidence to support that the one to start the rebellion was from Ryouma's ninja spies. I don't remember that in the Novel. Although it was a little suspicious that Ryouma's helpers was conveniently place to save that Noble and his brother in law when they were being attacked. But I just chalk this up to another chance of the Author making Ryouma omnipotent and all-knowing.

About the ppl who killed the debt collector ,I'm guessing its Ryouma 's ninja who did the job .They after all specialised in poison arrow ,just like what they tried to kill Ryouma during Rozeria civil war.
Now what I'm interested and eager to see is how the Incompetent Lupis gonna react and whats gonna happen to her (killed or s̶p̶a̶r̶e̶d̶ ) . Pretty much her making her own fear become reality when she 'betrayed' Ryouma and awakes the sleeping snake.
On a side note ,Mikhail can go die for real this time.
I really want to start reading this Novel since the MC is Cool Strong and actually uses his head plus he actually kills those that are trying to use him in other words he's Human "Return Malice with Malice" and only cares for a few people that important to him and not "I love all people, I want to save all people" kind of dumb and arrogant MCs these days
But there is just one question in my head, Does he discriminate/differentiate when killing, in other words does he forgive people out of kindness even though they tried to kill him throughout the series and does he have a rule not to kill women(did he kill any female character that tried to kill him if, yes that would suck :( ) ?
He only kill when need.. and situation call for
He is not a killer
He is just a warrior that happen to have high leadership skill
He does spare someone that he is interest
And show no mercy to the one that need to be offed in other to advance his grand plan...
In other word he can be ruthless if need...
A devil toward enemy
But some kill are done by his personal assassin troop or important female cast
So dont think too much
Nah he didn't forgive one solely because they're female
the one he allow to live is simply the one that he suspect of her background otherwise she would be dead instantly
so he would like to ask her personally
and someone negotiate her out, provide a lot more profit back to Ryouma
still we will need to wait and see when Ryouma got his hand on the idiot princess and her idiot knight

I see her as a half-assed ruler in every way, she's not cold enough to abandon the knight but she isn't kind enough to let ryouma go free after he gave her the throne.
A cold minded ruler would have killed the knight and kept ryouma caged and a kind ruler would have saved the knight and let ryouma go free, her half-assed decisions are coming to bite her ass, to me she looks like a hypocrite that wants to be loved as a wise and kind queen without taking any risks or looking bad.

It's not quite that simple. If she was a cold minded ruler, she would've sacrificed Mihaki and killed Ryouma after he helped her. She didn't kill Ryouma because of her kindness but at the same time she fears him which is the problem. Most bad decisions are made based off fear and that's common even in today's world. Ryouma just helped her win a civil war even though he the odds were heavily against them.
That's way too impressive. The problem is Ryouma is too smart, too cunning and too dangerous. If another country were to take him then Lupis was sure that she wouldn't win against him if they were enemies. Lupis is at least smart enough to know the danger that Ryouma poses if she let him go free. Now we (the readers) know Ryouma wouldn't join another country but Lupis doesn't know and she doesn't have a reason to know because in the end, Ryouma was a hired adventurer that has an unknown origin. Ryouma is not from her country and therefore he has no loyalty to it and she's aware of this. But again, instead of killing him off, she decides to cage him. Again, a stupid decision but an understandable one based on her personality.
The thing is Lupis isn't fit to be ruler. She would be best as a symbol or figure head.

Well the thing is Ryouma is a bigger threat. Again, he just helped them win a civil war that was heavily against them. Ryouma gained a reputation of his tactics being cruel and merciless. And while Ryouma helped her gain the throne, it doesn't change the possibility that another country would obtain him.
Everyone just think Ryouma will choose mercenary as occupation rather than adventurer

Ryoma defeated the Lord of the City near the Wortensia peninsula (I forgot his name). He took over that City and he killed most of the 10 Western Noble families. That means he effectively became the Lord of the Western region of the Kingdom. Lupis and her incompetent band of nobles did not like him being that powerful so she ordered him to present himself to the House of Lords to be a "witness". Of course Ryoma knows it's just a pretense to get him to the capital to execute him. He accepted the invitation anyway and went there. He's also amassing a few Noble allies with Lupis none the wiser.
Story seem not move much since last time I read then...

I think there is a misunderstanding about progression of WN vs LN. so the WN has Volumes, right? However I think it is more accurate to treat them as arcs.
Case in point, I was looking for what happens after the current point in the manga and that was volume 2’s end in WN while it is likely volume 3 at the end of LN.
So there are about 13 LN volumes on sale in Japan and the 13th is about Ryoma at war with the earl and the 10 northern families.
This is volume 5 in the WN. Once it passes this, it will catch up to volume 6 (current).

Quite interesting to know that Ryoma's family has a history of being transported to that world. And now looks like the Grandfather is going back there so he can protect Asuka who unlike Ryoma is a non-combatant.

Which means it shouldn't be too long before Ryoma and Lupis go to war. The minute she betrayed him, he meant to get her back for crossing him. And he knew he could do it because she lacks the insight to think critically and rule.

Hey i have a question about Ryoma's sister Asuka. In the Light novel is she safe and reunited with Ryoma? Sorry but right now I'm feeling a grasping pain in my heart and can't get this bad feeling to stop.
Asuka's grandmother is the little sister of Ryoma's grandfather, they're cousins.
The LN has covered right now until the end of the chapter 5 of the WN, the LN until now has always taken its time for letting things happen, so maybe Ryoma will need until volume 16 or 17 for taking control of the Rhoadseria kingdom, Ryoma's clash with the church shouldn't happen until then, but by Sudou's interference the cardinal that is transporting Asuka to the Rhoadseria's capital is almost sure to become Ryoma's enemy, I don't think Asuka will become Ryoma's enemy, but how hard or easy it will be for her to make that decision will depend on what Rodney and Menea, the two who have been protecting Asuka until now, will do once they meet Ryoma and learn about the true corrupt personality that the cardinal they had served until now has been hiding from them.

What’s the MC’s current status in the LN/WN?
And the status of all slave summoning factions?
Last I knew about the LN was just after he took the north of Rhodseria. As for WN, he is on trial for wiping out the 10 northern families. However, he has also been working behind the scenes to twist the trial (in the last chapter, he dropped a bomb on the nobles that the Queen gave him autonomy in governing, taxing and foreign relations, which could make him immune from the trial).
Multiple kingdoms have the power to summon people from Re-Earth, so I don't know all the players. At least the Cult of Light, Verzebia (which summoned Asuka & co.), Oltomerea (how do you spell that? which summoned Ryoma and others) and Elnesgera. Don't know if anyone else can. But I imagine they would since the summons are treated as war power. If Oltomerea had a monopoly on it, they would have long conquered the continent. They just seem to have had the most success in summoning so many.

New Manga chapter is out.

If by status you mean their internal situation unfortunately your question has no answer, I didn't read the WN but in the LN there was never any kind of description of each country's internal and political affairs, when a character appears there uses to be a small sumary of his situation and the why of his goals, but that it's limited to that character alone and while they're still on the spotlight, after that we aren't updated any more in that characters situation, by example, there hasn't been a single word about Shardina, the princess who tried to capture Ryoma on the first volume, since she she failed in stopping Ryoma's runaway until the war between the Xarooda kingdom and the L'Orthomea empire, then since that war ended not a word about her again.
There's more information about Ryoma because he's always on the spotlight, but that it's just one of his MC's privileges, After the volume 14 Ryoma currently rules the northernmost lands of the Rhoadseria kingdom, approximately one third of the kindom's total landmass and currently working for snatching the rest from queen Lupis, so his current most inmediate problems/enemies are Lupis and the group transporting Asuka until Rhoadseria's capital, there's an army from the Myst kingdom currently preparing for entering the Rhoadseria kingdom after discovering that Ryoma was at war with the other lords neighboring his terrotory, but if the purpose of this group is really to help Ryoma is still unknown.

She is still Queen, but her position is actually weaker than it was before she became Queen. Her compromise with Duke Gelhart to save Mikhail crippled her chance to rebuild and reform the system. The corrupt noble faction would remain a predominant system.
Ryoma predicted she had five years at best before her reign collapsed.

I think Vol.5 briefly mentions that the death of the mage who summoned Asuka was debilitating to Verzebia, because other countries found out about it. However, I don't think anything else has been mentioned, like Jagt said.

Aside from trying to find a way home, has Ryoma done anything to stop Re-earth from summoning more Japanese? Technically they are kidnaping people from his homeland.
And despite the fact they constantly summon people from our world, it seems they do nothing to learn of our world’s technology do they.

And despite the fact they constantly summon people from our world, it seems they do nothing to learn of our world’s technology do they.
...That is a very common cliché in the isekai genre - that a person from another world marooned in a medieval-like, scientifically-backwards setting can trigger a technological/scientific revolution.
Unless you're a subject matter expert in things like engineering, chemistry, biology and whatnot, the odds are that the knowledge you hold will find little application. Most of the things we take for granted in our daily lives are the cumulative result of centuries of gradual improvement. Metallurgy, organic chemistry, etc...everything needed to say, mass-produce certain advances, also need to travel with you, and that's where things get dicey, because you cannot replicate what is common in your native world.
Case in point, in another novel, Risou no Himo Seikatsu, there is at one point a discussion about how to (mass-)manufacture glass and reach the high temperature levels needed for that. Thing is, you need a furnace built out of firebricks (or refractory brick, if you will). Okay so far, but how do you get or make a firebrick? Oops, no idea and we're facing a potential dead end (and, yes, I know that in RnHS, after some trial and error, they do succeed in making some simple glass afterwards--not my point).
Of course, isekai usually sidesteps this hurdle with features such as magic or the deus ex machina of dimensional summoning (looking at you, Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi Sui no Dai Bouken) and whatnot...or even collecting "relics from a super-advanced dead civilization, still functional after centuries of millennia of disuse and just lying around waiting to be claimed." There are few novels and series that do tackle that problem head-on without...cheating, so to speak. One series that beautifully does it, in a very realistic manner, is Seiun wo Kakeru (sadly, no updates witnessed since 2016), wherein the MC becomes the blacksmith of a small, very poor village...and he is successful because he studied traditional smithing in our world. He doesn't produce "excessive" things such as maraging steel, tungsten carbide or titanium alloys, but the tools he makes are good enough to lift the village out of poverty. It's a far cry from Different World Pharmacy (which I still do read, btw), where the main character IS a reincarnated pharmaceutical researcher/chemist who remembers everything from his past life, but has to use his divine power to synthesize the medication, while working on sharing his knowledge...and upending centuries of long-established (but either incomplete or highly erroneous) teachings.
In fact, many of the more...reasonable series try to tread a far more modest path with their technological revolutions...like gifting the senbakoki to pre-medieval farmers who have to manually separate grain from chaff during the harvest period, etc. No big quantum leaps.
By the way, let's imagine you want to share the formula of black powder to your new world? Can you remember it without double-checking on Wikipedia...which you should no longer be able to access, anyway? And if then, do you know the exact proportions of charcoal, saltpeter and sulfur? If so, do you know some of the old medieval methods to improve it, like corning, and the measures needed to NOT accidentally blow yourself up in the process? And after that, okay, you produced some BP safely, no fingers lost, but you want to build a gun, even a primitive one...do you know how to forge metal into a barrel strong enough to withstand the gas pressure and resulting wear?
Believe me, transfer of technology is not easy. Odds are, we will simply end up befuddling the counterparty with our attempts to depict our quality of life and what we see on a daily basis.
In Wortenia Senki and other series, the otherworlders seem more interested in summoning us because we are essentially born unshackled by the constraints of their reality. Literally, we'd be living loopholes in their laws of physics and thus potential cheats for whatever they're scheming up.

Ryoma does not have the power to stop other countries from continuing the policies they have carried out for centuries. What he and his Grandfather have done indirectly, is to create caution and restraint in summoning and of how often. The death of two summoning mages in two different countries hurts not only their image but their fighting potential (both current and future).
Like Renegade said, reverse-engineering technology is not easy. Heck, reverse-engineering within one generation of technical level could take years.
As he also mentioned, they don't value the intellect of the slaves they summon, only their martial potential to surpass their own limits. As a result, they are not concerned with what they say, even if it is indicative of a better world.
Also, they can't control who they summon. From what I recall of the first summoner's perspective, he commented on killing weaklings if he thought they weren't worth the trouble.

All these summoners have the same mindset. They only see summoned people as inferior slaves.

Wonder what would happen if they accidentally summon people that come from a universe where traveling between worlds is normal. They definitely fucked up and realized who is the inferior ones.

What there a new chapter after V6-Ch43?
I recall the manga/LN(?) version mentioned Ryoma's parents were summoned away many years ago and never returned.
For those who've read the LN version so far, does the story ever answer what happened to the parents? Are they dead, alive, or something else?
This one raw update!?
guess I need to refresh what happen the last time I read

yes and Lupis is now capable of thinking at this exact moment but that Meltina just blow it up, that subordinate of hers is also one of the roots of the problem.
Meltina really need to stripe down and live in disgrace and drag the idiot queen along with her
killing both of them sound like a waste and not really worth it
