So if he can't hurt bad guys by punching them he can as well hurt them by punching harder .. And if that doesn't work he can just go full self healing zombie until enemy get too tired fight.

Agree with that, Isekai/Tensei MCs usualy fall under later category. Well actual pacifists (I don't mean whining wimps refusing go into cockpit unless you slapp them) are still more fun even in worlds that aren't all sunshine and rainbows, because it's far more chalenging actually keep with that.

From what I read so far, I don't think Usato has any romantic opinions of Rose. Rather he admires/fears her as his mentor/boot camp teacher/brainwasher.

I tried reading some of that arc in Google Translate; all I understood was that Nea was some kind of rogue demon. Otherwise I couldn't really understand her story and motives.
Plus I remember some of the later arcs (Samarial, Millark) kept mentioning something about a cursed dragon and that the Demon Lord's motives are too mysterious, even for his generals.

She is daughter of Vampire and Necromancer. Her parents were too evil, so they got killed off. Chieftain of beastmrn had this transfer device remodeled so her power transfers to him instead to tool. Kanoko figured it out in last seconds and tried sabotage process. Chieftain did get precog ability and Kanoko ended in coma.

When Usato came this chieftain used mother as hostage and put Usato and arc to jail and Nea is left with Amako as she is mistaken for mere owl. Chieftain made deal with demons too. Amako would be put into improved device to transfer her ability to create whole squad of warriors with precog ability so he can kick mankind asses) Amako is was allowed come to jail plead so Usato does not do anything stupid otherwise they will die.

Usato figures its bluff and that Amako has plan and go along with it. Nea slowly take control over various beast soldiers and scientists and then once device is reassembled they broke out and with some beast alies and controlled folk counterattack. Chieftain is defeated as his precog can't keep with Usato's reflexes and device is used to transfer Kanoko magic back.

But before that Usato had to fight Koga, Demon army general and Felm former boss. He uses dark magic that turn him to beast. He is prince from country Senpai visited, he confessed her and she told him about her undying love toward Usato to get him off her tail (It made Usato quite celebrity). So he joined to envoy going to summit and tried challenge Usato to duel. His sister then kicked some sense into him before Usato could cause some irreparable damage to his heart. He still don't want give up on senpai though.

And yes, this is should be volume Fanna appeared too though I believe she is not Kazuki girlfriend (though both her and Lyngle princess would probably like to be and has some under table deals with each other about united front against their greatest rival) . She is fun character. Rational and strong believer in common sense (she got over that pretty quickly). Her magic is illusions, though it doesn't work on Usato who faced mental attack form hundred of souls before, unless he really tries go along with it. It's also confirmed his greatest fear is neither evil dragon, mutated hero or even demon army general.

IMO, Usato's biggest fear would be watching his friends and allies (even Rose) die in front of him and being unable to help.

The 2nd might be a berserk Rose with killing intent aimed at him, but I think he'd get over it and actually challenge that fear to a fight.

I remember a later chapter where

Usato is shown a vision of an alternate world where the sempais and Rose were killed during the 1st demon invasion and Lyngle was destroyed; in that timeline he's become a vengeful berserker brutally killing demons with his bare hands.

He basically completely forget about healing magic being... well healing and use it as pure source of energy.

Knock people with healing bullets, propel his rocket punch (and it's upgrade muda muda rocket punch), use it as blunt weapon, create quake by sending heling magic pulse to do ground, explode healing magic from someone inside (though he try avoid it as it's actually pretty harmful), use healing magic explosion as reactive armour offset other magics ect...

Of course most of these uses are in the end harmless as it heals any damage it cause, but...

3)It didn't elaborate if she was such ogre (personality wise) from beginning but, she wasn't much weaker then she is now. She actually mauled badly Nero Argent who lead that group of demons that time . In comparisson Usato in Full Venom mode (Felm turning using dark magic to turn herself into symbiont like gooey armor) with Felm support could barely stall for time against him ... and that's because he didn't want kill him quickly. So yeah Usato is not even close Rose from that time.

Well Usato, gang and few demons get into ruins in demon territory where ancient hero companion (Amako ancestor Kannagi)is sealed along with another heroic weapon for some reason. Said weapon gained conscience and throught connection with Usato own weapon observed whole his journey (and it became fan).

Gang got split, Usato is forced cooperate with Kouga (battle maniac musscle head who consider Usato his worthy enemy) and it's hilarious. In the end they meet fake Kannagi (weapon) who try swindle Usato into accepting it's power. Usato would gain powerful light magic, but it would ovewrite his healing one so it's big no.

Senpai and Kazuki are sent into BadEnd timeline by real Kannagi because unless they and their Usato doesn't became more ruthless only bad future will await them in here too. They meet Jaded killer Usato who consider them fake and they fight. Well in the end they talk it out and figure that despite all crap this Usato went through and did he still is same gentle fellow they know so they became affirmed in their way doing stuff instead. It's apparently enough to change future regardless. Kannagi lead them to Usato and Koga and join to fight against fake Kannagi who after being rejected try kill demons on her own and can't understand why Usato stopping her.

Felm evolve and is now able assimilate both Nea and Amako into her black magic symbiotic armour Usato wears. Hopefully it can give them fighting chance because Fake!Kannagi is darn OP.

Notes:
- Bad End!Usato doesn't have all these tricks and special moves normal Usato have, but is overwhelmingly stronger, faster and capable of instantious regeneration, especially when he using dangerous magical drug.
-In good timeline, one of Usato companion is hero Leona, who took over role of much stronger hero candidate Karon (who is descendant of
Divine dragon) after he went berserk due Nea awakening wicked dragon and got crippled in the end. In bad end Karon is ok and Usato's companion instead.
-In moment Koga and Usato meet each other in ruins their instantly knock each other with lariat. Usato insist they are nothing alike.

WN story never had much romance iirc, focus always more on comedy interactions between characters.

Suzune is too weird and aggressive in flirting with Usato; he's too weirded out to be interested and always tsukkomi's towards her advances (his previous image of her as a perfect ladylike student was broken by her actual excitable, otaku personality - hence zannen heroine tag).

The fans tend to ship Rose and Usato; imo it's less romantic and more like he fears and respects her all at once. Plus he became a dense musclehead after Rose's aggressive training.

Comparing the WN with the LN sypnosis, so far the WN content matches up with the synopsis (Maou defeated, Usato gets returning scroll, Usato's desire to help in post war reformation works/staying with new friends vs going home, scroll must be used within 3 months.) So I wonder what new conclusion the author wrote for the LN version.

The overall story never really seemed interested in covering romance, judging from what I've read. The focus was mainly action and comedy.
