Plot:
The "surreal gag" comedy manga revolves around three classmates who play simple hand games. One of the girls is good at games, but hates them as she always lost to her older sister and forced to do chores while growing up. Another girl is of American descent, but raised in Japan, and who only pretends to be bad at Japanese. Another girl usually observes their games, and loses to the other girls.

First episode is out.
I feel like the show is okay so far for the comedy gag jokes. This type of anime seems to fit more for a half length series though, at least imo.

He was disappointed because the ladies lied about spilled water. As a responsible teacher that he is, he had to corroborate his suspicion that the clear fluid did not give the same appearance as pee. Suspicion alone could not justify an accusation. He had to be sure before he could lecture about the shortcomings of lying. Once he confirmed his suspicion that the fluid was indeed water, he set the ladies straight.
He is a great teacher who is willing to taste urine for the sake of his student. How many teacher did you know in your life that wanted to taste your urine? Not many, I say.

Hmm, yeah, I think that was pretty good. Maybe felt that the facial distortions stayed on the characters' faces for too much of the episode, but still, it was pretty good.
While I did kinda find the whole "OP is a trick!" joke funny, I think that it was a bit too obvious what they were trying to do.
Oh, and next episode preview(?) thing is 100% Kamisama Dolls. And yes, I know that the guy that did that anime is also doing this anime. :heh:
I haven't searched for Koume Keito's doujins since really Kafunshou Shoujo, but I'll take this opportunity to read a bit of his new works...
There was an anime like this a few years back, except it featured guys...I forget what it was called. Anyway, this is just as funny.

Definitely did not expect this to be this kind of anime. I mean, the glasses girl clearly doesn't like to be played around with (after what her sister did to her as a kid) but then is forceful against others. The blonde quite literally created the mess she is in and is going to end up paying dearly for he actions and the last girl is a new mix of stupid and crazy that scares the hell out of me.
I sincerely don't know what else to say about this show, I mean seriously, who the hell looks at possibly a unknown liquid on the floor and decides to just taste it? I lost it at how casually he sidelined the matter as if he did gods work.
I will definitely keep watching this. This has the making of a good comedy.

It should be a bad pun, about how the club name can be mistaken for something totally unrelated. The misunderstanding was there in episode 1 too.
That teacher was also very clueless... even before the club name misunderstanding, one should have fallen really low to rely on her students for counseling.

what i find weird is which no matter how i'm trying i can't really blame that 3 "devils", for the president club demise, it was her own fault, for going so crazy, none of the girls said or did anything to make her goes on that lenght, it was the girl full fault.
and that teacher female, omg, what really a "amazing school" where we have "male teachers wanting to "taste young girls pee" and desperated single woman teachers asking for "middle/high school" girls romantic advises and being "scamed" by them :heh::heh::heh::heh::heh:, i really can't stop of laught, this serie was really being "unique" and funny, the concil president girl still fun, she really need how to "express" herself without look like a scum when talking with others.

Really funny episode this week. The hand wrestling part has to be my favorite. Who knew that Kasumi could contort like that?! The only time I've seen that game being played in real life was here.

Huh, i remember doing that as a kid; it's either a kind of punishment for losing a game where the loser gets slapped across the inside of their arm (in this case by two fingers swung really hard, hence Kasumi tensing up,) or it's a game based on said punishment.

The dutch wife was hilarious, but what got me howling with laughter was Olivia's onii-chan. The contrast between his credentials (early college grad with 2 PHDs along with his super-formal speech) and his appearance and actions are like night and day. What a character!

The beginning bit with Fujiwara was so funny. When she said the line "My classmates' eyes are ass holes nano ka," I absolutely died. And the rest of the episode didn't let up.

This may be one of my favorite comedy shows of the season (Chio-chan is another show I really enjoyed for Summer)
Asobi Asobase is so absurd with its comedy that you'll never know what you'll get each week. I loved most of the segments and the finale didn't disappoint. The baby jokes, bra humor, and even a battle royale-style game with cute game avatars. This show pushes the envelope on its comedy elements and succeeds.
8/10. Need more shows like this in the future!

Good lord, the final episode was a riot. Loved the battle royale bit. I should've known the rival team was the shogi club; the president's condition doesn't seem to be getting better last time we heard from her. xD
easy 9/10 from me. Loved every single episode.

I have to hand it to this episode just for it's mostly accurate portrayal of how to get a proper bra measurement. However, when measuring yourself you shouldn't do it while wearing a bra. Doing so could give you in accurate numbers.

A pretty good slapstick comedy-type of anime, but I can't give it a 10/10 because there are some scenes where it feels like they know the joke isn't funny, so they are just going to let the VAs scream like idiots until the VA screams becomes the "funny" joke. Oh, and the whole butler with a laser beam butt is not interesting at all.
Let's just say, that doesn't work for an entire cour.
That said, I did find it amusing that Hanako's VA was the same as Benten (https://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/wob_ocg/wpadmin/wp-content/themes/wob/images/card/400317.png).
I thought she had a funny voice then, and she still has a funny voice now. Not in a bad way.

This is the first time I have ever wanted to punch a baby in the face this much, no living being should ever make that kind of face.
I hope we get a season 2, this anime along with Chio-chan and Gran Blue made this season very enjoyable.
Finished watching this and this is easily the best comedy anime I've seen in a long time. Absurd/surreal humor like this is totally my thing. The girls, despite having some horrible personality traits, were highly likable.
