The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody is getting an anime adaptation.

Synopsis

As the most powerful entity of all time, the Demon Lord Varvatos thinks life is a big fat snore. When he takes matters into his own hands and decides to reincarnate, he calibrates his magical strength to be perfectly average. But there is no way he could have predicted that everyone in the modern world would be weak as hell, which means he is totally overpowered once again! Reborn under the name Ard, he has ladies fawning over him, the royal family begging him to become the next king, and an ex-minion insisting on killing him?! But Ard has a one-track mind, and he won't stop at anything to achieve his ultimate goal!

Sounds like a more casual Anos. The Heroine's even remind me of Sasha and Misha :heh:.

Well...I'm glad it's not that reincarnated as a baby story.

I don't want to see overpowered babies as main characters. Just being carried around by women and being unable to talk is no fun. :p

This story is basically a mix-up of Series like "Misfit of Demon King Academy", "Strongest Sage, Weakest Crest", and a bunch of other series.

Silver Link and an anime about a reincarnating Demon Lord? Now where have I seen that before ;)?

Although unlike Anos, Varvatos didn't reincarnate to establish peace between human and demons but because he was basically tired of being all-powerful and seen as so inhuman that he could never have any friends or truly close individuals. It also didn't seem to help that his wife (?) died, and I assume she was the only one that he felt really close to :uhoh:.

Are we ever going to see his vassals again? They look like cool characters. Especially ninja girl :love:.

So like Anos, Ard reincarnates into a typical, loving, family...but while Anos was an overwhelming Chad who walked through everything and did what he wanted, Ard is basically a dork who has no idea how to talk to people normally and still wards them off no matter what he does and is still pretty overpowered :heh:

Well, you have to admire his tenacity in becoming Ireena's friends, even if gets to stalker-level :eyespin:.

Nothing quite sells a girl on friendship (and possibly more) quite like saving her from a bunch of goblins when she's resigned to death. Doubly so when you can relate to her feeling alone and isolated ;).

Is Ireena the reincarnation of Ard's queen as Varvatos? When he saw her face he immediately called out Lydia's name, and is that part of why Ireena has such strong magical ability? Is she actually Varvatos and Lydia's descendant, hence the white hair? It seems like there's something special about her lineage, to the point of her being isolated from other people and thinking that Ard would end up hating her for some reason, so could that be it :eyebrow:?

And how did Varvatos betray Lydia? Is that why she died :confused:?

I see that Ireena has become the childhood friend love interest aggressive enough to jump in bed with her guy and basically say they're going to high school together. Here comes the magic academy :cool:.
