English Title :
Someday Will I Be the Greatest Alchemist?
Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time (AlphaManga)
Summary (from AlphaManga) : Airs "Winter 2025"
Not even a hero, Takumi Iruma gets accidentally mixed in with a group of heroes chosen to be summoned to another world. As compensation for the mix-up, a goddess offers him the right to choose any skill he wishes for! Hoping for a peaceful and quiet life that has nothing to do with fighting or going into battle, he chooses a seemingly boring creation skill. However, it turns out "alchemy" is the most powerful skill that allows him to create everything from a holy sword to flying ships! This cheat skill he unexpectedly acquired turns him into a wealthy merchant and makes him undefeatable in battles! A heartwarming adventure story about (possibly) the most powerful alchemist in another world! Source:

Somehow, alchemist becomes a popular occupation in isekai anime. Maybe it is due to the series of Atelier games. This look like a family friendly story, probably not. The cover looks like the protagonist will have beautiful friendships with several girls. At least, it is not isekai story in seinen manga, where the protagonists used their ero games knowledge to save the worlds. Having silver hair protagonists has been a trend for years.

It's kind of funny they have Sora Amamiya as a less than on the ball Goddess and Ai Kayano as a blonde. Where's Rieri :p?

The initial story appears to be generic. The isekai kingdom summoned people from Earth. The goddess gets upset their use of the forbidden magic. She seals the possible gateway, after failed to stop the process. The protagonist is just the bystander of the summon magic. He gets killed. So, the goddess makes him new body and lets him pick an occupation. The occupation are divided by production class and fighting class. The alchemist is one of the production class. The protagonist finds out the goddess grants him any skill, even he only chooses the alchemist.

I wonder if isekai written by AI would be more or less generic? I'll give it a few episodes anyway it might be amusing. Didn't really meet any of the girls though.
How is it he knows just how to use all those skills, immediately? I guess I can just accept that the goddess crammed knowledge into his brain like how she must have tweaked it so he understands their language. Kinda funny too how fast he integrates into the village. Like yea, he helped that girl when the rabbit was coming after her, but to give him and and build him a house that fast? These villagers are super trusting, lol
I agree it's super generic. Probably keep watching though, I'm a sucker for isekai even when written that way heh. Curious to see why the goddess did the time shift. I assume it'll be so he has a year to get OP and stop whatever the blond emperess is up to.

Like bloody seriously, this feels like some bored anime executive in Japan typed into ChatGPT "Make a generic isekai with a salarymen" and got this script. Dropped. There's a metric ton of super generic isekai / reincarnation / computer game anime this year, I don't have time for this.
I remember that I started watching this but I was getting fairly drunk at this point. I mean it was Friday night. I am quite sure that I was not impressed with it. I do remember it starting like any other isekai these days. He dies, goddess made a mistake, he got crappy powers, then that's all I recall. Gee, I wonder if there will be any harem aspect to this??? Probably will drop.

The goddess sounding similar to Aqua doesn't exactly boost her credibility... Neither does the absence of any feathers on her wings btw.
Aaand... for those that had it on the bingo card its going to be a slave harem after all... probably not the good kind either. :eyespin::heh: I'll stick around to hatewatch for now I guess, however long that lasts.

My first impression of his dirty dealing is Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. However, one manga I read is more closely resembled to the current plot. The manga's immoral plot is an alchemist(from isekai) trying to make money by selling his products. He needs the helping hands in his atelier, so he goes to the slave market to get his assistant. That manga is interesting, because the isekai guilds hunt down people from other worlds. Because the god grant the special ability to these people, some of them become dangerous criminal. It is where the story depart. Otherwise, the current setting is similar. The alchemist also lifts the curses puts on an elf, and discovers a conspiracy.

totally forgot that there's suppose to be some 'heroes' getting scammed in the future. Honestly don't really care about them at all.
Don't really get the point of slave contracts when its pretty much just a regular servitude job listing just to take care of the 'no betrayals' thing.

Aqu... I mean Noytel is rather accommodating to him, I wonder why she isn't as accommodating to the others or just cancelled the summoning period and got all 4 of them... She seems to be very capable of interfering when she wants to, and the other god allegedly doesn't exist to begin with.
Quite a lot of things have been changed compared to the Manga (didn't read the Light Novel, so don't know about it), especially regarding the plot of Episode 3.
Like, MC actually not buying Slaves immediately as he was unsure about the whole aspect and he also didn't have the money to buy the Elf girl.
They also skipped the plot regarding the Slave Trader woman being angry at the Merchant guy, as he kept answering in place of MC and even tried to pay for the Slaves on MC's behalf which she didn't like. She even scolded him on rushing MC to buy a Slave when he wasn't emotionally ready.
Then there is the part regarding MC being somewhat angry at the Maid girl later on. In the Anime, MC simply stated that he was angry on Maid girl as she threw away some of his gathered herbs and plants. But in the Manga, he was angry because Maid girl mistook the Lab as a garbage room, and dumped all the broken furniture and garbage into MC's Lab, which was a hassle for MC to clear.
Lastly, while the Anime is saying that the Goddess sent MC 1 year in the past from the point of the Hero Summoning, in the Manga it's 3 years in the past.
Don't really get the point of slave contracts when its pretty much just a regular servitude job listing just to take care of the 'no betrayals' thing.Ehhh... I mean, candy coating slavery is just what isekai does, and making it so they don't have to have sex on demand doesn't make them any less slaves. They're only on first name basis and can eat at the dinner table because the MC is such a nice guy -- but he's also specifically buying slaves whose contracts have no condition for freedom (like paying off a debt) in the future. I'm sure he'll expand his slave harem regardless, and somehow the isekai girl from 1 year in the future will be enslaved and join the harem too.
Its trash but I'm sort of intrigued and haven't heard Kayanon much lately so I'll stick with it for now.

Takumi hurting himself in order to cure Sofia, that is commitment to the cause.
Those slaves got themselves the perfect master.
2 episodes in and ugh
"Hey we backwards villagers don't really care but be careful you might get in trouble in the outside world when you show them your light magic skills"
"Ayt imma keep dat in mind"
LATER
"o yea i invented this toilet thing since your sewage system sucks, this uses light magic btw"
"0_0 you can use light magic??"
"o yea my bad i was warned bout this keep it on the down low ya dig"
I mean I know he just came from another world but really how stupid can you get? I know there's this whole trope about how the MC doesn't recognize how powerful he is or how his common sense isn't so common in the new world, but he was literally just warned about this, it's as if he's showing off lmao

Besides becoming an alchemist, he is a good tailor. He makes the clothes for his female friends. His appraiser skill is quite different. It turns out his not-good-at-housework maid is better used as an adventurer. His spider evolves to a spider girl, so she can be at watching over his residence.
I think the blades hidden under skirt is from City Hunter. So, it is manga's stereotype of undercover cop, not a battle maid.

Recent Episode had a lot of changes compared to the Manga.
Possibly they are rushing it to get the plot of the other heroes coincide with MC.

So, compared to the Manga, the changes made so far are
- 1 year back in time, rather than 3 years
- skipping more plot related to Mulan (the Slave Trader Woman)
- no coverage of Mulan's Horse plot, except mention of it
- restriction placed on MC
- skipping of plot that occur during Episode 5, as it become base of something mentioned in Episode 6
- skipping intro of the person he meets at the Church of Creation
- plot of training with the Dwarf from Episode 5
A compressed version of how the new girl joins.
Completely removed the involvement of some of the side-characters which was a nice touch in the Manga.

This anime made NO changes from manga. It's anime based on LN. Only question is whether this show made changes from novel, or if manga did.

Because there is no Light Novel translation, i made comparison with the Manga.
From what i have seen, Alphapolis Manga adaptations are more close to how the Light Novel is.
Like for example the TsukiMichi series, it's Manga adaptation is alot closer to the Light Novel with some bonus focuses as well, unlike the Anime.
Also, i did somewhat checked the Web Novel translation, which seems to follow what's in the Manga, like Goddess sending MC to 3 years back, rather than 1 year like in the Anime.
And if you think about it, even if MC is supposed to be powerful with his creations, he is still just a single person and has to move around at the same speed as everyone else.
Aka., the travelling time between each location isn't a few days, but could be few weeks as well, which is covered in the Manga.
Plus MC does take a long time with learn and experimentations as well, which increases the duration as well.
Like the MC even takes a long-term apprenticeship under that Dwarf guy, and the new Slave girl also starts learning under him.
Even with the plot of the new Slave girl, they removed the mention of the other two girls who were with her at the Trader, and it is somewhat an extended plot in the Manga (in the Web Novel, they are just mentioned and with the reasoning on why they reject MC).

Takumi needs a very strong bodyguard, so he turns his golem to Gordan Warrior. It is one of the coolest robot toy from the past.

So, a God/Spirit-like being was created just by the wishes and prayers of people for a being which didn't exists. And for whatever reason it's already turning into a Evil God/Spirit.
So, was the plan of the Empire to create an Evil being from start and use it to control the world by using both power and religion as weapons.

That whole scene about dissolving their contracts was so stupid and unnecessary, it only exists for the sake of making drama out of nothing. Also, how is training the heroes in swordsmanship making them evil? I understand if they are a bit brutal in the way they fight, but what exactly is making them into outright evil assholes? (I know it's just the plot because no other man other than MC can truly be good).

None of that matter though. There is no point comparing novel adaptation with manga. Change means it was originaly certain way and it's no longer case. Manga isn't original thus anime did NO CHANGES compared TO MANGA. You either compare both to source or not all when we talk how they are different. You can of course say one is better than other (sometime taking liberties with source can fix some probem with story), but that's separate matter.

Why doesn't Nolyn just take away the Anat priest's Holy Magic privileges...? Would really be the easiest way.
At least they explained why she didn't just make the summoning not happen at all with this episode.
Holy shit an isekai slaveholder freed their slaves! :twitch::twitch::twitch: This is maybe the second time I've seen that happen and the other time was a shoujo. :heh:
So, basically they just defeat the Horde, which is controlled by a Monster which had evolved into a Dragon because of the side-effects of the Summoning.
MC leaves Hero, her Sister-Slave and Titan behind and later thinks why he didn't he bring it. I mean come-on, you were going to fight a big monster horde, and you leave behind your biggest attacker behind?
Then there is MC who becomes so absorbed in healing the towns people that he didn't even leave a single Healing Potion as back-up, which causes Elf Lady to act rashly during the Monster Horde & Final Boss battle, and causing herself to get injured and nearly died because she didn't want MC to get injured or die.
This later causes the situation of MC basically indirectly confesses his feelings to her and the mood was destroyed by our resident Summoned Female Hero, as she can't read the room.
No mention of romance aspect from the Rabbit Widow, or the Human Battle Maid mentioned or hinted in the Anime.
While this is going on, the other two Psychotic Summoned Idiots go and massacre a village in another border Kingdom, because the Church Nation didn't want the other Kingdoms support the Kingdom in which MC is during the Monster Horde attack.
Goddess is still behaving cryptically towards MC's questions regarding why she sent him 1 year back in past.
No news of a Season 2 yet.
Though it's sort-off expected, since Alphapolis haven't created a Season 2 or later for any of their Series yet, expect TsukiMichi.

Calling it now before a possible season 2 can hit:
Either Akane or Takumi were the hero to begin with (or both) and the other two are the actual extra's which is why Nolyn actually snatched Takumi away from that summoning.
That being said, as the sole goddess there, she can probably just declare someone hero anyway.
Other things
Knights < Adventurer? Uhm not sure if the author knows what kind of killing machines knights actually were.
