View Full Version : Orochimaru's technique
Theres still a few things I don't understand about Orochi's immortality technique. For instance I've heard that he can't get any stronger than the host body, although I can't recall that ever being stated in the manga, and from the Kyubbi fight it doesn't seem like he's limited to the hosts power. Also how comes when he took that fighters body just before the time skip he was all bandaged up but with that fighter's appearance, and now he's back to normal. I know during the Third's fight he showed he was using someone elses body so is it just the case that he's covering the face of his new host with his own? But then that doesn't account for all the skin shedding jutsus he seems to do.
I think this is more proper for the Q&A Thread. And you need to Tag this with Manga.
Let me give you some pointers.
-There is no indication that Orochimaru can't get stronger than the host body, in fact I will bet that his power do not decrease depending on the body he transfer to.
-The Jutsus Orochimaru does are independent of the body he is in, Orochimaru uses some sort of Technique to disguise his current face with the face we all came to love. each time he did the skin Jutsu, it seems he also kept up the Technique to cover his true face.

This was discussed multiple times. If you read the manga you should know what is he capable of. You can judge his power :)
