So this is just gonna be voice acting plus assorted sound effects, right? Hopefully we can get some translations for them when they come out.

another question, what do you click in order to listen to that free streaming, i found my way to that link.. seeing a list of mesages with red buttons.. i clicke dont he top one.. which linek me to anothr, clicked pay then i had to fill in somehting (god knows what) to try an listen to it... i think i failed in that lol

the only thing that i kinda hated was that Suzaku x Lelouch wedding only had 1 line and insane laughter (laughter is golden though), nyuuuh
But you got a track full of chibi Suzaku and Lelouch. =| And half of track two is full of Suzaku and Lulu talking to each other...and Lulu teasing C.C. again...

(T/N: "Buriki", as explained in the Animage February Okouchi interview, is a derogatory racist term for the Britannians. It's a combination of Buri (from "Buri"tania) and "buriki" (literally "tin", a reference to their KMF frames) If he wanted to kill him he'd do it out front.
Toudou: Suzaku-kun, I may be a soldier, but if possible I don't want to fight.
Suzaku: Why!? If it's Toudou-sensei, I'm sure you won't lose to the Buriki!
Toudou: It's easier to not fight, isn't it? I'm a suprisingly lazy person, actually. (T/N: And with this line, my respect for Toudou increased by 100 points XD)
(Suzaku: That day, Toudou-sensei seemed a little strange... Come to think of it, Father went to Tokyo recently and hasn't returned yet. I wonder if something happened... Pizza and hostage, let's see what kind of situation we have this time. (It was confession and underbed hiding in vol 1.). "なぜだか二人とも、とても愛くるしいのだ" Why is this couple so charming.
- 2nd one is about how student council 's reaction to Lulu-Shirley brain wipe. Doesn't sounds interesting... but ofcourse it will be, since its code geass. something about Nina too!
3rd one is childhood of Susaku, Lulu, and nanaly again. Hide and Seek in the forest. (where is Kaguya >_<). I am expecting a serious development from this one.

A parody of Anime Janai, ZZ Gundam's OP song sung by Narita Ken, as Orenji Janai would rock the Oricon charts. Okay, maybe not, but it would rock as hell.

LMAO... Sound Episode 2 was pretty hilarious.
Stage 9.258 was a bit funnier than 14.821... though Ougi's moral debate in 14.821 was pretty funny as well.
I was expecting something better from sound2.. sound 1 ended up being better....oh well, wait for sound3 now.
So we always get two comedy episodes and one continuous dramatic story of Lulu's childhood days.
I didn't like 9.258 and 14.821 - the endings are too stupid and immature for my tastes. Previous ones were better, had higher class. Speaking at the same time is also not a good idea - often you have to turn off one channel to understand what they are saying.
0.521, on the other hand, is gaining momentum, I can't wait for more.

Had a quick listen through the tracks but the version I have are only at 24kbps. Wish they were a little higher quality ^^;

Track 1 - "Code Geass Lelouche of the Rebellion Sound Episode Newtype Special- The Third Reason"
A robbery is taking place. The innocent acting Karen is taken hostage in the process. The valiant Suzaku tries to take her place but obviously fails. He tries to reason with them but to no effect. Realising Suzaku is an Eleven, they demand he helps them get the money that the Britannians stole from them. The group claims they have the Dark Knights backing them up. Lelouch secretly laughs in his mind.
Student Lelouche thinks away at a plan. He could contact his Dark Knights but the action would become too violent. He decides to use his Geass without Karen and Suzaku noticing. Karen begins to revert to her original self as she argues that the Dark Knights (she's really talking about Zero) wouldn't be doing such a thing as use a girl as hostage. The robber doesn't like her tone and smacks her.
Lelouche begins to make his move. He gets up and walks towards the guy holding Karen hostage. The robber orders him to sit back down quietly but Lelouche retorts, "Silence! I'm the one who will be giving the orders." The boss threatens to shoot Karen if Lelouche goes any closer. He replies, "Do what you want. That girl isn't my lover and she means nothing to me." Karen sounds disappointed.
Seeing how his threats towards Karen isn't working against Lelouche, the robber threatens to shoot him instead. Lelouche tells them there's three reasons why the group's operation is going to fail and begins talking.
1. They believe that by having a female hostage, they will win.
2. They believe they're the only ones with weapons.
The robber laughs. Students don't have weapons. But what if Lelouche and his friends came here for the same reason as the group did? He begins to bluff that he has a bomb in his pocket as he walks even closer to the boss. Lelouche uses his Geass to make the guy hear the sound of a bomb ticking away.
Lelouche builds on the pressure bluffing that there's only 10 seconds until the bomb explodes. 3... 2... 1... Suzaku knocks the guy out and saves Karen. He managed to slip behind him while Lelouche caused a distraction. The boss returns from the safe, quicker than Lelouche expected. He points a rifle towards them.
Suzaku stands firm telling the boss to surrender. The boss shoots but to his surprise, Suzaku dodges and apprehends him. Suzaku reveals his identity as an Warrant Officer of the Britannia Army. He's not scared of guns when hostages are taken.
Lelouche reveals the third reason is that Suzaku Kururugi is here with them.
The sirens can be heard and Karen thanks Suzaku for helping her. Suzaku praises her for holding up so well but is also surprised how she would speak back against a group of robbers. "Even when you're such a weak young lady," adds Lelouche. Karen starts to throw on the weak act again. Suzaku asks if she's alright but Lelouche interrupts to see if his good friend is alright.
They both have a little dispute saying they acted too recklessly. Seeing this, Karen realises their actions wasn't part of a plan they coordinated together. She's surprised at how well they still managed to back each other up. Lelouche says it was really all because Suzaku was there but, Suzaku only sarcastically thanks him.
Suzaku goes onto say how Lelouche was wrong about the third reason.
Lelouche: "I was wrong?"
Suzaku: "Yes. It wasn't because I was here. It was because we were together right? Lelouche."
End of Track 1

The other tracks were a little too much so I'll just post some highlights.
Track 2 - Code Geass YamaYama of the Rebellion Deluxe Special
The two Seiyuus behind Lelouche and Rivalz, Jun Fukuyama and Noriaki Sugiyama are taking part in this special in a recording room. Just as they have making fun of there own characters Lelouche breaks into the recording room. He is not happy about them ruining his image. The two Seiyuus don't know who he is until they learn he used his left eye... "Uso~! (」゜ロ゜)」 ウソォ". Lelouche uses his Geass, ordering them to go reflect on their "sin" and takes over the show to redeem his image.
Lelouche calls in Rivalz who looks over at the two "sinners" and admires the Sugiyama who plays his role. On the other hand, he doesn't think too much of Fukuyama.
Lelouche: "Rivalz, hurry up and sit down over here."
Rivalz: "Ah right."
Sits down and gets hit by Lelouche.
Rivalz: "Hey! What did you do that for?"
Lelouche: "I don't know why but... I suddenly got really annoyed."
Rivalz: "What is wrong with you?"
Lelouche: "Hurry up and put us on air."
Rivalz: "Why me?"
Lelouche: "I don't know how to operate a radio show."
The show begins.
End of Track 2
Track 3 - Code Geass YamaYama of the Rebellion Deluxe Special
And so, the "YamaYama" show begins.
Lelouche: "Wait! What is this "YamaYama"? I don't understand the reason behind it."
Rivalz: "Well you see, I think they're putting the "Yama" in Fukuyama and Sugiyama's names together to come up with "YamaYama".
Lelouche: "Then we must change the title. We don't have the characters "Yama" in either of our names."
Rivalz: "Then what shall we do with it?"
Lelouche: "Hmmm, yes. We both have a "ru" in our names, the "ru" in Lelouche and the "ru" in your name "Karudemondo" so we'll call it the "Rebellion of Lulu".
Rivalz: "Ugh... You don't have any taste in naming do you?"
The two goes onto introducing themselves and then starts reading out a fan letter that begins with "To the one named Yama". Lelouche interrupts because he finds the addressing strange. Rivalz explains it's just a pen name and continues. The letter asks about how to keep a room clean. Rivalz passes the question over to Lelouche since his room is so clean.
Lelouche: "Ah yes, if I have any litter I clean it out immediately. After using anything, I put them back in place otherwise I don't feel right."
Rivalz: "So your room is always super clean and tidy?"
Lelouche: "No, my room hasn't been like that lately really."
Rivalz: "Huh? Why?"
Lelouche: "There's a messy someone in my room."
Rivalz: "Who? Nanaly?"
Lelouche: "No, not Nanaly. This someone messes around with my textbooks, uses stuff without my permission then leaves them lying around. Thanks to this someone I just can't clean up my room anymore. And, this someone gives me the look as if I should be the one doing the tidying up afterwards! I get annoyed just thinking about it...!"
Rivalz talks about a ghost in Area 11 but Lelouche says the someone isn't as fun as that. The "someone" is just destitute. Just then the phone rings.
Rivalz: "Hey, a call."
Lelouche picks up his phone.
Lelouche: "It's me."
Rivalz: "Hey, we're in the middle of a programme here you know..."
Lelouche: "C2! You were listening?!"
Rivalz: "Looks like we've just had an accident on our live show!"
Lelouche: "Silence! What's wrong with telling them the truth!"
He hangs up. Rivalz try to ask who it was but Lelouche ignores it and decides to move on.
End of Track 3
Track 4 - Ashford Academy
Lelouche and Rivalz goes into a corner of the school where students can shout out their secrets and anything that annoys them into a locker. Lelouche thinks it would be a good idea to hide a listening device to gather information. Rivalz stops him.
After releasing all his woes into the locker which including how he doesn't want to join an event with primary school kings again or be called the "leader of justice", Lelouche wants to take the locker home. But again Rivalz stops him because it belongs to everyone. Just then, Lelouche's phone rings again.
Lelouche: "You're annoying me."
Rivalz: "Oooo, sounds like a girl's voice!"
Lelouche: "The shouts have nothing to do with me!"
Rivalz: "Getting a pretty emotional aren't we?"
Lelouche: "Shut up! Go eat your pizza or something!"
He hangs up. Rivalz teases him about picking up the phone all the time during work. Lelouche tells him the call demands that they stop their stupid shouting activity. Rivalz isn't happy to hear that and is annoyed at the girl who called. He starts pretending to be having a conversation with the "mystery" girl.
Rivalz: "So, why do you have such a rebellious personality? Oh, because you're a friend of Lelouche's huh! Ah, I seeeeee now!"
Phone rings but it's an e-mail for Rivalz.
Rivalz: "Hey, a message for me! Lets see... I will make Rivalz pay for insulting me! WTH!"
End of Track Four
Track 5 - Ashford Academy

Just like earlier sounds episode. 15.x probably doesn't occur after episode 15, but rather in the middle of episode 15 during cutscene etc. So thats why I am guessing that it occur during CCxLulu's little fight. CC vs Kallen probably be at the OBK base when CC started ignoring Zero I guess :\

Oh yeah, never thought of that... I thought that episode was odd because the clothes didn't seem like CC's tastes.
I was wondering, "Why the hell is she suddenly dressed like that?" when I was watching that episode. Lelouch has some er, nice taste and isn't CC being obedient wearing those clothes? She still went back to the old suit, though :p

THIS SUMMARY SUCKS AND IS PROBABLY VERY INACCURATE SO YOU'RE GONNA WANT TO CHECK OUT THIS TRANSLATION BY CELISS, BUT:
Stage 0.911 has Milly meeting Lelouch (and Nunnally) again on his first day at Ashford, when Milly is 14 and Lelouch is 13. It's supposed to be a heart-warming episode.
Stage 5.831 finds Cecile and Villetta talking about how worried they are about their superiors, only to have them walk in. ZOMG shock. Sudden twists! And more shock, apparently, when the conclusion comes unexpected to Jeremiah.
Stage 0.543 is a continuation of the story of Lelouch and Suzaku's childhood. Because they are KIND OF lacking in the freedom department, they work together to devise a secret, mischevious plan and surprise people with its perfect execution. But days like these can't go on forever...

- The first one: The student council try to come up with a name for Aurther. Susaku can't tell them that the cat already has a name (and was named by Euphie). Luluche learned bout it and try to help, but Nanaly got to the council and name the cat Auther anyway. Susaku and Luluche both are surprised.
- The second one: Kallen and Tamaki went out to buy stuffs using OBK's car. C.C. got in and order Kallen to take her to the pizza place. Tamaki began to ask C.C. some stupid questions about her relation with Zero, C.C. opened the door and kick Tamaki out while the car is running. Kallen and C.C. talked (Kallen almost has accident several times because of what C.C. said). C.C. mentioned that she is just an accomplice of Zero. Kallen said that her and the rest of the black knight are too, however C.C. said that they are just an accomplice of an entity called "Zero". etc blah blah blah little chat. Kallen crashed the car. Zero greet when C.C. got back asking whether where have she been. She said that she has a little chat with Kallen about you and that she won't tell him since its a contract between women.
- Third one was Nanaly, Susaku and Luluche childhood. Nanaly, Luluche, and susaku was playing some kind of monopoly like game (where you throw dice and move your piece etc). They are happy. Nanally was happy that her marraige between her and susaku's dad is canceled. Luluche traded something with it. Something intangible he didn't say what. blahblahblah happy; There is a festival on the day, but since Nanaly couldn't see, Luluche wasn't planning to leave her, but Nanaly said that she was tired and that Luluche and Susaku go to the festival. They went off; Nanaly think to herself that she was a bit jelous her brother was taken away, but since Susaku is a good guy its fine. "But please don't forget to return him"

Ah! Thanks for the clear up. So that's where it was from, eh? I had already read the script for the first story a short time ago on the GameFAQs board with the translation done by Celvia. But I still haven't been able to read the one that I'm mostly interested in, which would be the second one. Well in any case, I'm looking forward to the translation!

When I look at these Drama CD's and the current state the mainstream series I keep thinking of the song 'Yesterday' by the Beetles. The nostaglic carefree times the drama CD's represent as opposed to the death and mayhem of the series.
I'm surprised Yukana, the voice actress for C.C., also played Teletha in Full Metal Panic. Such a big difference between the voices and personalities :heh:

Yukana has great range. Considering she's able to sing the C.C. character song with that low voice. Probably isn’t hard for her at all. Great talent she has. *_*

Rivalz and Lelouch meets for the first time because of chess. An episode where you can catch a glimpse of what Lelouch is like as the tactician he is.
3. Stage 0.884 "The Siblings of Britannia"
Schneizel, Cornelia, Clovis and Euphemia... A very rare drama that concerns the brothers and sisters of Britannia. This episode takes place before Clovis takes charge of Area 11. A lively episode that shows each of their individual personalities. The greatest place to hear about what Clovis thinks of Lelouch.
4. Serial Drama Stage 21.534 "The Last Invitation"
The last part of the serial story which takes place until after Stage 21. Just before the Special Administration Region of Japan is set up, Suzaku discusses something with Lelouch. What could the surprising coversation be about?! Does he reveal the secrets behind that big incident?! Did Lelouch and Suzaku know they couldn't escape from the paths of fate...? A fitting ending that centres around the two as the story reaches climax.

Fun, fun. Good read. Looks like all the girls like Lelouch (or some incarnation of his personality). Though it looks like Milly knows a lot more than anyone else about who he really is.

Understandable, considering the experiences he's gone through and the scenes of massacre he witnessed. That Milly, at that age, was able to withstand that sort of spite and even elicit a thank you for him was nothing short of miraculous.
What is the word for that sort of quality? The ability to completely empathize with people who have issues, without coming across as magnanimous (failing to gain his trust to begin with, she had to offer her body in a wager *snorffle*) or pitying. Milly Ashford: She's got a true heart of gold, that even Lulu in his worst state of distrust and jadedness can't hold out against.

She's probably just teasing Leulouch because he was so a severe stiff, and the light approach is her preferred method.

Actually, I think his anger was justified, just misdirected. He was cold towards Milly because he and Nunnally were now the Ashfords' hostages, and he (wrongly) assumed that Milly was just putting on an act when she'd already heard from her power-hungry parents. I don't know what sort of agreement Lelouch struck with the Ashfords, but it looks like he didn't realize what he had gotten himself into until after the deal was made.
Although not explicitly stated, it looks like Milly's parents wanted to keep Lelouch and Nunnally apart in order to make it easier to control them. Milly's grandfather, however, is a much nicer person and appears to be sincere in his efforts to protect the children of Marianne, whom he knew personally back when she was still alive. In short, not all of the Ashfords have good intentions; keeping LuluNana with them appears to be more of a political move than anything else. Lelouch's "Even you people (Ashfords)... are doing this (actually no verb here) to us..." line is a reference to the Kururugis and how the Ashfords aren't any better than them.
Haven't listened to the drama tracks yet but, nice song for Milly. I wonder if Nunnally will be singing a song called, "Taisetsu na Onii-sama" or something...
Anyway, I know Sound Episode 6 is supposed to end the serial story but, looks like there will be a follow-up in DVD volume 9's picture drama special.
"The Imperial Age, 2009AD. A story of Lelouch, Nunally and Suzaku's separation. The summer days left something precious in the children's hearts as the time was about to end."

The serial story ended in Sound Epiosde 5. If you scroll up you'll see that it doesn't cover anymore of that. The final picture book will be the final part of it. It's come full circle really since the first Picture Book was set before the serial story in the Sound Episodes.
Well, it doesn't cover the childhood story anymore it seems but it's still part of the 6 part serial story as it says on the site. This final part takes place in Stage 21 so... Maybe part of it will be a flashback?

It tells you on the official site, September 27th this week. I'm sure there will be people who will manage to get it early from their local retailers, though.

Finally, listened to the sound episodes yesterday, all of which I liked.
Some great moments
-Lelouch telling the bank robbers it was ok to shoot Kallen because she wasn't his girlfriend
Then making them think he had C4 in his pocket with Geass.

being a great fan of Kaguya-lelouch pairing i'm very fond of your idea even if it's no very plausible.I don't know for sure, but Genbu wanted alliance with Britannia, or the appearance of it, by way of marriage. So Lelouch must offer him something equally worthy to get it cancelled. In that scenario: a prince for a princess. Lelouch says that he didn't give up anything particularly dear to him, too. Offering himself for political bethrothal is nothing compared to Nunnally's happiness.
Or could it be that Lelouch convinced Genbu that he and Nunnally are practically worthless in the eyes of Britannia, and so a marriage to her won't benefit Genbu's position? In any case Genbu doesn't seem to be as much an opportunist as Kirihara.

In Japan, women have much lower status than man. Especially after marriage, the wife is like the husband's possession (generally speaking).
Genbu want Nunnally in his possession, not giving Kaguya out as a present.
Genbu marry Nunnally = advantage on Genbu's side.
Lelouch marry Kaguya = advantage on Lelouch's side.
Why would Genbu give all the advantage to Lelouch when he has the upper hand? = =
Lelouch being a prince, and a very smart one who pay attention to political situations, has a ton of information he can give in exchange.

Hoshi & Midoriwaka don't have problem singing character songs. So it's up to the Code Geass staff to decide if Gino & Xingke will get a song.
Actually I think it's a waste to not let them sing. After all, the main customers for Drama CDs are girls. And Hoshi & Midoriwaka has a huge fanbase of girls. ;)
I have a friend who buy almost everything with Hoshi's voice in it, even if she already knew the game sucks or she doesn't even like the anime. XD

The drama CDs are only going to be included with the LE versions of the U.S. release, as far as the first season is concerned.
There is absolutely no information about what will be included in any eventual Code Geass release of the second season (R2), for which new drama CDs are starting to come out in Japan, but I suppose one could initially extrapolate (even if it later turns out to be inapplicable, you never know).

Ok, breaking the 4th wall is used to describe a situation where characters know that they are characters in a series. So, it allows for crazy scenarios such as the ladies talking about Suzaku and Lulu in such a manner. In such situations, you can expect canon to be thrown out of the window, for the most part.

Well, given his abilities, it is possible. Heck, I don't see anyone beating him at any physical sport where 1 person = 1 side.
It's amusing to hear C.C. actually hitting Kallen in the SE 'cause she was (it sounded like it) losing it, what, with the squeaky voice and all. :heh:

Haven't been here for a while, so I was wondering...is anyone planning to translate these tracks? Celiss has apparently stopped translating in the few months that I wasn't in the Code Geass fandom, maybe something to do with the SE being released with the DVD?
I can understand a decent amount of Japanese, but a lot of what CC says in the second track doesn't really register.
Oh, and does anyone happen to have a script of either tracks?

This, to me, sounds like they are planning on releasing the Drama CDs so I would say you may not post the translations.
If anyone can supply more info about the mentioned "sound dramas", please do so. Normally I would have said that Drama CDs are not part of the license but at the moment it seems they might well be.
Here's what O-san had to say.
Again, there is no information about what will happen to the R2 tracks when the time comes, but I guess he has all the rights in the world to extrapolate, so we might as well assume so until proven otherwise.
Doesn't mean some translated details or partial descriptions couldn't show up, I'd hope? After all, leaking or attempting to duplicate entire movie/anime/tv scripts would be a crime, but you see smaller descriptions about movies and TV series even in famous review sites. I don't know what the mods think, nor do I intend any disrespect, just giving some ideas.

The Kallen and CC drama was funny. Fried eggs is srs bsns in the Order of the Black Knights... I can't believe Kallen like, called Urabe when they're supposed to be hiding or doing recon to ask him wtf he puts on his eggs. Urabe's response was pretty random/epic too and it makes me wonder if he just told her something random to shut up or what.
I think they are called character's songs for a reason:rolleyes::heh::eyespin:. They show us character's feelings, their aura, view of world.
Though, i think i understand what you meant with your post...
Oh my! XD If that's the case then CC's in Lalahappy land. My knowledge of the Japanese language is abysmal to null at best :P But dude, she's practically in the pink love stage for Lelouch in this character song. XD
Maybe she's a little happy because of the "you're not alone..." statement of Lelouch. the lyric's all about "you're not alone", "embrace your/my heart", "by your/my side", etc.. after all :rolleyes:
Exactly!! Her 1st character song was a lot sadder. XD How I wish there could have been another character song of Lelouch, becoz Jun Fukuyoma's voice makes me <333 swoon.
Now if I can only just get my hands on this Drama CD ...
