What no pic 2 go with it?:p Ewww six fingers on one hand?:uhoh:
He's referring to this pic... (the hand under the breasts, not on the face)

and it's not clear that she does have 6 fingers just that the palm of the hand looks as if there could be a 6th or the thumb was placed slightly too high...
However the rest of the pic is so distracting why would anyone be looking at her fingers? It's like that playboy Marilyn Monroe pic that supposedly has 6 toes... Why the bleep are you looking at her toes? and not the rest of her features... :heh: :twitch: :eyespin:

I've been recommended this wallpaper search site (http://wallbase.net/). Currently it has over 160 Claymore wallpapers, some of them I haven't seen till now. Probably nothing that regular users of this thread haven't seen but still it's a great searcher. Someone could say that you could use google but google shows much more unrelated stuff than this one. Read the FAQ to use it efficiently.

I should’ve brightened the black part of the palm, it would’ve been better that way. But limao’s joke was a good one. Limao you’re the man! You made me laugh so hard. Even anime haven’t ever made me laugh that hard. Jeez, I saw this pic at work and laughed so loud that I had to explain to my colleagues what’s so funny, i.e., that it’s my pic and that there are still people out there with a great sense of humor.

Sounds to me like he has some plan for perfect Miria pic and won't do it until he can 100% draw someone as hot as Miria. Artists can fret over stuff even before they make it... :heh:

Normally I'd go with Clare, due to her ho training (based on the poses http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff286/nfforums/NF%20smilies/15gch6u.png... then again I never would have expected Dietrich or Flora to be in the poses you put them in in your last two pic :heh::D:heh:), but for some reason I'm thinking your trying to trick us with the wording and this is really two separate warriors. Seems odd to me to have the same warrior twice in a single pic unless you where showing a progression of her character. Though for all I know I'm dead wrong on that assumption since the single sword does imply it is a single warrior :heh::eyespin::heh:
So the most likely choice seems, to me, to be Sophia and Noel since they are both have large breasts and have been called a "pair" often enough. Based on the conversation I would have guessed Helen and Deneve but the lack of a black colored limbs on the outfit of one of them kinda makes that very unlikely. Though Clare and Jean or Raphaela and Luciela is also possible if it is "a pair". The both seem less likely due to Jean and Clare being "smaller" and Luciela never having been seen in a warriors outfit (though her symbol was entered in the databook so if it is her you just need to look at it to find out her symbol). It could also be Cynthia and Yuma but that pairing became big after they switched to blackout fits... or maybe it's a fan pairing like Miria and Galatea but that also seems unlikely though the body dimensions do match them... or maybe it's an unlikely pair like Miria and Hilda/Tabitha (please... Hilda is preferable to Tabitha if this is the case, since Miria would be glowing if it was Hilda she was with but regretting if it was Tabitha she just spent the night with)...

Wish I knew... but after about 30 minutes online it stops letting me upload pics without closing down my browser (chrome) and then restarting it. It's been driving me crazy for the last few weeks. http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff286/nfforums/NF%20smilies/rlz4ib.png
I use skydrive, personally... never had any problems with it, and you don't need to sign up for it if you already have a hotmail account.

No, silver knight is a hentai... I've only ever been able to find one or two pages of it but from the little bits I've seen those 2 cover pages have the best art in the whole thing.

Still I don't care how you look at it... she has almost no eyebrows, tiny breasts, is super tall but looks lighter than a Holocaust victim, she also has a small mouth width wise but fat lips height wise (she had a bowtox injection http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c172/nfandom/D.gif), a receding hair line that puts my 60 plus year old father to shame (let alone Ophelia), a horrible hair cut/style to boot, a witches pointy noes all it needs is a wart to finish the look, and a her facial expression that is worse than Clare on a bad day. All this adds up to fuggy character, even without the veins. Hell I'd call them a positive... compared to some of her other features. :rolleyes:

Still I don't care how you look at it... she has almost no eyebrows, tiny breasts, is super tall but looks lighter than a Holocaust victim, she also has a small mouth width wise but fat lips height wise (she had a bowtox injection http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c172/nfandom/D.gif), a receding hair line that puts my 60 plus year old father to shame (let alone Ophelia), a horrible hair cut/style to boot, a witches pointy noes all it needs is a wart to finish the look, and a her facial expression that is worse than Clare on a bad day. All this adds up to fuggy character, even without the veins. Hell I'd call them a positive... compared to some of her other features. :rolleyes:

Think that might be my fault... :uhoh:... a while ago he pumped out the first page with snow and I told him it wasn't in the North but west... so he asked me for advice for the background. I stated to remove the snow and stick with a single time of day (dawn, morning, afternoon, dusk (the latest I recommended), evening (what he seems to be doing), but not night...) I stated that it was up to him to interrupt Deneve's comment about fighting the hellcats for half a day if that meant 12 hours or 6 (my theory)... I guess he went with 12 hours and that makes it close to night. :heh:

Well Shiek, he's just impressed by the general calibre of the story and its epic qualities. I mean, where else are you going to get Phantom Miria leading thousands of troops into battle, battling church doctrine, or trying to unify the island of Toulouse? You most certainly will not see that in any other Claymore fanfic. I appreciate his efforts on my behalf very much.
Btw Shiek, "Claymore: New Era" is now completely uploaded to ff.net. So the only question I've got is what's keeping you from enjoying chapters 6 and beyond? :) ;)

Limao, you really should think of selling this CMH line for publication - I'm sure that Claymore fans would love something else Claymore related to read while waiting each month for the next chapter. I certainly do! :D Afterall, I'm sure there are waaaaay more Claymore fans out there than are on these message boards who will never see any of your work - so if you could find an interested publisher, who knows? You just might out-sell the manga! :heh:

To the twit who negged me for commenting about the newly colored pic being a TSS pic. Yes it was done by a particular artist but they provided the pic to TSS for specifically for there release of chapter 110 (in fact TSS was the last group to get there scan of the chapter up in Chinese, likely because they where waiting for that coloring to be finished). In short it was likely a commissioned work or done by a staff member... the artist left there watermark for all to see but the source to release it was TSS and they where also likely the source responsible for it's creation in the first place. What I said was true, no need to get all crazy about it since any fool can see the watermark to see the specific artist at TSS or who did the work for TSS. Oh and btw... WTF is wrong with you! Check your facts before you neg someone. If you don't feel like checking facts then just create a post saying I was wrong to publicly correct me before you get hasty and take the drastic action of negging someone. It's just proper educate.
FYI with the exception of chapter 107-109 they have colored at least one page per chapter since chapter 95... and released a few sporadic ones before that. They also colored every page of chapter 100 (different artist every page). TSS is a group that does coloring and they don't broadcast the individual artist among them, I have every right to refer to the group as TSS. Hell 2/3rds of there pics don't even get watermarks.
The other big group was Lion King but they haven't even done a Chinese scan of the any chapter since ch 103 (and Claymore was the only manga they did)... they also did tons of colorings. I pretty much agree... I just wish my evil goddess was as detailed as the scenery. :(
Though I do like black as a color choice for her... it needed more shading and highlighting.
EDIT: Good example of who black coloring should look (shading wise not style... the below style isn't anime like and that's the above artist goal... and I understand that an like his choice... so please realize I'm not insulting his style just that I believe he needed to use more tones. Not as much as the below due to the style he choose nor as varied but he needed more none the less.)

I'll give this a shot, but I am particularly bad with the words of hair styles (when I go to the barber's shop, the only word I can say is "short"), so feel free to correct me if something is strange. :heh:
I am only going to do the statistics and one line quote below them. What's to the left of the chart is just a short and plain summary of the characters. The two gray labels mean "introduction/summary" and "Appears in". Nothing we have unheard of. The three Chinese characters on the top is literally "Moe Musume Card", and I think everyone can guess that CV means the name of the seiyu. If the first guess this would also kinda make it the half way symbol between Teresa and Clare which is where her artwork is clearly based on IMHO.

Well, I am sorry I was not here, or not active much, during the time you read the fanfict. But I assure you I will make things in fanfiction alive again via sketches, as I plan not only Miria but the rest of cast in the "New Era" sequel.
Also, Gooloo0-o and Revan5 are now working for the cover for the "New Era" sequel. Them and together with my sketch are surprised improvements of the fanfiction.
As for the symbol????
This is my idea of how things came to be:
Miria must wear that Rabona Church symbol when the Church is still in power. However, when the church falls then replaced by another power, all soldiers must change the symbol with the present one. That is then also applies for the claymores. So that's my answer.
As to how I came to that 4-pointed star symbol? It's actually Revan5 who suggested it as the new symbol of the Rabonese army after the fall of the church. We discussed this things all around the DA forums, it's apperance and its color in the flag.

Oh I definitely am happy about it. FAO, if you're wondering, I'm actually changing the fanfic descriptions of Miria to match RBN's final sketch. She originally had chain-mail with white leather over it instead of plate-mail over her torso. I found the new look RBN developed superior so I'm modifying the fanfic to fit his sketch.

They could be twins and yes Galatea is pretty old!;) More than likely Yagi just has an habit of drawing very similar characters.

I agree on that it's just Yagi drawing similar characters; especially back in Pre-Pieta days, I feel he had a South-Park kind of way of doing things in that most characters had the same exact "model", and he just changed their hair-styles to differentiate.
Over the years though, he's gotten more precise and everyone is unique in every way, not just in hair-style.

I like what you did with Miria, but would you consider this in the design of her armor. Miria's primary weapon is speed. Granted she probably has the best swordsmanship of all the Ghosts but her speed gives her an overwhelming advantage. Through this she creates mirages of herself and easily gains advantage or retreats as required.
You've given her a full metal armor that consists of metal plating and chain mail. This is certainly what mid-evil knights wore and gave them a great deal of protection. However, from what I have read. A full plate or chain mail armor could weigh as much as 50-60lbs, if not more. In terms weight, I believe plate was heaviest followed by Chain and Scale armor, which were similar in weight.
Wouldn't the weight of this armor rob Miria of her most valuable advantage? Could you envision Miria wearing something that didn't provide as much protection as Plate armor but allow her to fully utilize her speed?
Please don't take this as negative criticism but just as a practical observation. I'm an artistic idiot that can't even draw stick figures so I wouldn't even entertain criticizing someone's artistic abilities.
