Just read your latest chapter Lord Bear (be sure to read my review!) Another great installment.

Now, far be it from me to undermine your authority as the author of your own fanfic, but I just had an idea of my own about it. First off, I love how you brought Shirley "back to life" but I also know this is going to be the pairing is going to be Kalulu so I'm wondering what's going to happen to her in the end. Now, granted I don't know what'll happen in the future and I don't know what you're planning, but should you decide to do so, I think something like this would be an awesome (2nd) death scene for Shirley.


The situation is that Shirley has just willingly been mortally wounded in order to protect/save Lelouch or for the greater good. Lelouch and Shirley (once again) say their final goodbyes.

Shirley: It's okay Lelouch. This is what I want. I'm glad I was able to help you.

Despite Shirley calmly accepting her fate, Lelouch is hysterical as the cruelest form of deja vu sets in and he once again must face her death.

Lelouch: NO! NO! I WON'T LET THIS HAPPEN! I'M NOT GOING TO LOSE YOU AGAIN!

She has a sudden understanding of Lelouch's feelings. She attempts to explain and reassure him.

Shirley: Don't you see Lelouch? You never lost me. I've always been right here.

She places her hand on his heart. He has a moment of understanding but is still saddened by her impending death.

Lelouch: (weakly)Shirley

The life almost entirely gone from her body, she musters her final words.

Shirley: I'll always love you Lelouch.

Her body goes limp. Content with the time she spent with Lelouch and her being able to help him, she can rest in peace. Lelouch lays his head down and sobs into her chest.


I guess you would call that a fanfic of a fanfic :heh: Just a spontaneous idea I had today. I love love LOVE your story!:D

I'll start my own fanfic about Code Geass soon.
I have the first chapter complete in my mind but the others are still blurry somehow.
It'll be set after 30 yeaars of the happenings in code geass and it have even space colonies. And why i brought this uop?
I've 2 questions:
It'llfeature both Suzaku and Kallen as perhaps Nunally as Britannian empress.
Q1: What would be a better pairing? Suzaku and Karen or Suzaku and Nunally?(no matter whichon, but they have a 16-18 years old children...so at least 10 years passed before they got together). I prefer Kallen.
Q2:Lelouch will be alive(as immortal) or dead? There's still a way to communicate with him even if he dead. I prefer if he's alive.

In both question i ask for your opinions...not just a plain answer: i want a proper reason too.

i'd go with kallen (if they have children)
even more so when you remember that the emperss of britannia getting hitched with the guy who murdered the last emperor (her own brotehr) is kinda hard to sell

I have a solution for Kallen's problems about Lelouch being alive.(NO! Not a simple CC X Lelouch pairing!)
Nunally easily forgive Suzaku cause it's not his fault. I think he can forgive him more easily than Kallen. I think it's more about the matter of relationship. If it's Suzaku X Nunally then the kid only rarely sees his parents and he got a governess, in case of Kallen X Suzaku he sees his mother quite often.
Not to mention other things...both havemany possibilities in sense of the plot but i can only have one of them.

Hey, I have fanfiction idea; I cross between Code Geass and Kamen Rider Decade; when Decade is still fighting the monsters he gets transported into Code Geass a year or two after R2 (2019-20 a.t.b.) there in this parallel world he looks like Lelouch (his counter-part in that world) since both have been known as demons. There people will be shocked to see him, once more him being able to transform into 10 different forms(all of his cards of each kamen rider had been restored in that world) fighting against the monsters tha had entered the Code Geass world as well.
If anyone would like to do this, then make sure you post it at fanfiction.net under Code Geass, okay?

Here's what I guess you could call a first draft of something I've been brainstorming, set right before the one-month timeskip, late in R2 21:

Title: Reconciliation
Characters: Lelouch, Suzaku, C. C.
Genre: Drama, General
Rating: PG-13 (?)

Sword clenched in hand, approaching Lelouch, ready to exact revenge, Suzaku wanted a final answer regarding why Lelouch ended up Geassing Euphemia li Britannia: "Why would you command her to carry out such a horrible act, and then kill her?" In a fit of rage, Suzaku grabbed him by the collar. "Answer me!", he cried.

A mixture of emotions were what drove Suzaku at this very moment. On one hand, he could sense that Lelouch had been lying when admitting full responsibility, since Lelouch had other objectives to tend to at the time. On the other, he still hadn't forgiven him for his responsibility in the death of Euphemia li Britannia, the one who Suzaku loved, swore to protect as her personal knight, and shared a dream of creating a peaceful world through legitimate means. With her death, the last vestiges of his innocence were shattered as well. With no other obstacles in his way, this was his perfect opportunity for an answer. With his one free hand, he drew his sword backwards, ready to strike him, as the other clutched him in his grip.

But Lelouch was hardly ever one to flinch, and this was certainly no exception. "Fine, Suzaku. I'll talk." He started to wince in a sea of painful memories as he recalled: "I had actually agreed to join Euphie in promoting the Special Administrative Zone of Japan moments before the Geass command happened, which was triggered by the permanent activation of the my Geass."

"Permanent activation of the Geass? Is that what happened?", asked Suzaku.

"That is correct," answered C. C., who joined in on the conversation. "If the user of a Geass does not master his or her Geass, the Geass will permantly activate. This is exactly what happened to Mao and his mind-reading Geass."

"I see. So why did you say the words 'kill the Japanese'?" Suzaku asked, turning back to Lelouch, his grip loosening.

"Euphemia thought I was joking when I told her I could command anyone to do anything I wanted to," responded Lelouch. "As an extreme example, I said to her 'If I told you to kill the Japanese, you would do it.' And that was the very moment my Geass activated on its own. I was forced to kill her in order to put her massacre to a stop, since my Geass only works once on any given person, and there was no way to cancel it."

Now in a state of shock very similar to the one he felt when he remembered that he murdered his own father for decidedly similar reasons, Suzaku released Lelouch from his grip, and dropped his sword to the ground.

"I am so sorry, Suzaku," Lelouch lamented. "She was the sibling I loved most after Nunnally, and the only one I still loved. Killing her was one of the hardest things I've ever done."

"I see. Still, why did you make Euphie a scapegoat amongst the Japanese?" asked Suzaku.

"They were too furious at what just happened," responded Lelouch. "There was no way I could explain to them what happened without losing their support. Would they understand what Geass is? I had to make the best out of a bad situation. So I decided to make my final checkmate against my father, and Britannia, in order to learn what happened to my mother, and create a gentler world for Nunnally."

"As it turns out though, it was all for nothing," Lelouch mournfully concluded. His mother, who he had looked up to and sought to avenge, turned out to be as depraved as the father he blamed for not protecting. And Nunnally had just disappeared with the FLEIJA blast.

"Why didn't you tell me all of this sooner?" Suzaku queried Lelouch. "We could have avoided so much of this. Unless... you didn't see the use in defending yourself? That's just like you, Lelouch."

"Yes," said Lelouch. "But I can't excuse myself there."

"All this time... all this time I thought you had become a madman. When Shirley died, you were the first person I blamed. So I'm guessing you weren't responsible for his death, were you?" asked Suzaku.

Lelouch didn't feel like responding right away, due to the connection he felt with the one responsible. C. C. responded for him, "Rolo. He used his Geass, which paralyzes the sensation of time for anyone around him."

"And made it look like a suicide," concluded Suzaku.

"That's right, Suzaku," said Lelouch. "I found her lying in a pool of blood. Before I could call for medical attention, she held my hand, and told me how she loved me and wanted to be my one true thing in this world full of lies that I've been fighting. She even forgave me for what happened to her father."

"That's what she was talking about with me as well moments earlier," responded Suzaku. "She could tell I had become distant from you, and I told her that I couldn't forgive you. And yet she had already forgiven you for what happened. I think I'm beginning to see what she meant now."

"Yes. As atonement, I set out to destroy the Geass Cult," continued Lelouch. "Shirley had been manipulated by Geass all along. First, Mao, then me, regrettably. And then, Jeremiah, who was outfitted with a Geass canceller by V. V., in order to get rid of me and neutralize any Geass I placed. She was in range of one of the activations, and ended up getting all her memories back. And finally of course, Rolo, who either suspected too much, or as I'm now suspecting, was insecure at the mention of Nunnally. He used his Geass to kill her. And I secretly plotted to kill him in retribution with a bomb I attached to his Vincent prior to the siege, with the intent of taking both him and V. V. down in one final blast. But at the last moment my plan failed when Cornelia blasted him off the Siegfried V. V. was piloting."

"I see. Is that why you didn't attend Shirley's funeral?" asked Suzaku. "And what of V. V.? He was the one who told me about Geass."

"Yes," said Lelouch. "And V. V. was also responsible for kidnapping Nunnally during the Black Rebellion, and transporting us and the others to Kaminejina Island earlier. He died after Charles absorbed his code for immortality."

"But if it weren't for Rolo, I would be dead," mused Lelouch. "Just as the Black Knights were ready to execute me, he came to my rescue, using his Geass, which had the adverse effect of stopping his heart, to the point where it overtaxed his heart. And he did this after I told him I hated him for being a fake replacement to Nunnally. He thought I was lying though, and saw me as a real brother, so I told him I really was lying so he could die in peace. I gave him a proper burial as a sign of respect."

"So you forgave him?" asked Suzaku. "I remember lying to Euphie as she lay dying in the ICU unit as well. She had broken her Geass, and couldn't remember shooting down the Japanese. She asked whether the Special Administrative Zone was a success, and I said that it was."

"That's right, Suzaku. I was despondent and willing to die, and Rolo gave me one final sense of motivation," answered Lelouch, beginning to tear up. "What you said about Euphie, I guess that means there was a chance she could have broken the Geass command on her own."

"So Euphemia meant a lot to you too?" Suzaku asked.

To which Lelouch responded, "Yes. She was the only one ever to identify me as Zero, sight unseen. She figured it out during the hotel hijacking incident, and confirmed it when we were stranded together on Kamine Island. It was that moment that inspired her to start the Special Administrative Zone, so she could be with Nunnally and I again. She was even ready to give up her spot in the royal lineage of Britannia."

"Euphie," mourned Suzaku. "To think of the happy times we could have shared at Ashford if your Geass hadn't activated. Instead of hating you for it, I can only pity you, now that I view the end result as what is most important. That Geass you have is like a curse, in a way. And now Schneizel was able to use it against you, and turned your own Black Knights against you through fearmongering."

"Yes," continued Lelouch. "Only Kallen was willing to stand up for me. But realizing this was a checkmate for Schneizel and noticing there was no way out, I lied to Kallen when she asked me if she meant anything to me. Had I responded yes, I knew she was ready to go down with me. Whatever happens to me, I want her to live on, just as her late brother did, and know happiness."

"Kallen has been very dedicated to you I can tell," added Suzaku. "Even when I threatened her with Refrain during interrogations regarding whether you were Zero, she wouldn't let up. Hell, she beat me up afterwards when I attempted to apologize."

"Is that so?" said Lelouch. "It must have had something to do with her mother becoming a Refrain addict. Speaking of which, she became furious when I attempted to inject myself with Refrain, since I was about to completely give up after noticing that Nunnally was willing to be part of the Brittannian government. She convinced me that my fight against Britannia was no longer just about Nunnally and my father, but also the people who looked up to Zero as a symbol of hope. So yes, Kallen and I were very important to each other."

"I see. So you really began to fight for the countries that would become the United Federation of Nations?" responded Suzaku. "Even as I questioned your motives, you got results, like foiling the Chinese Eunuchs' corrupt plan to sell their nation and their people to Britannia. While you were doing all of that, I was too busy following the system to accomplish much. Infact, I ended up doing some damage as well."

"Is that so?" responded Lelouch.

"Yes," continued Suzaku. "I made some rash decisions that I thought would be justified when it came down to working my way up to becoming the Knight of One. Selling you out to your father, the Emperor, who I should have seen as the root of all evil, not to mention the target of your revenge. I turned my back on my country, thinking things would fix themselves when I would gain rule over it as Knight of One. And I couldn't even defeat the actual Knight of One, Bismarck Waldstein, in combat. Worst of all, as a Knight of Round, I was a hired gun for Britannia, and ended up destroying millions in the area I swore to defend. I tried working within the system, and it failed me."

"It's okay, Suzaku," responded Lelouch. "We both have a lot to answer for, even as we tried to fix the world using our own methods. But as I've maintained, we have to continue on our current path, or else all the bloodshed will all be in vain."

"You're right, Lelouch," said Suzaku. "So why the long face?"

"Because, even if we achieve that gentle world we wanted for Nunnally, Euphemia, and everyone else, I no longer feel like I deserve to live in it," responded Lelouch.

"So you are seeking atonement too?" responded Suzaku. "I've been searching for it ever since I murdered my father. I sought death on the battlefield as punishment. I guess I'm not so noble myself."

"I see. So, because I don't believe in influencing your decision either way, where are your final alliances now?" asked Lelouch. "Will you remain with Schneizel? Or will you go solo?"

Suzaku gave him an odd look, then responded, "You, of course. We are friends, after all. I would never trust Schneizel, especially after what he pulled by having you arrested during our meeting at the Kururugi Shrine. And me, alone? Are you kidding me? You know I can't rely on myself! *chuckles* It's as you once said, that together, we can accomplish anything." Lelouch nods, and they both laugh.

Lelouch turns to C. C. and says, "Don't worry, I still haven't forgotten about our deal, you immortal witch." C. C. smiles, and they all exit.

I admit, I'm not much of a storyteller, but there it is so far. Pardon any OOC-ness.

Probably for the same reason why most people prefer seme!Suzaku and uke!Lelouch: personal taste.
I'm not one for gender bending either way, though, so I can only guess.

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but I had a vaguely workable plot along those lines in my head within 5 seconds of reading that.

During the timeskip before R2 starts, Kallen persuades C.C. to give her a Geass as well. She and Lelouch each end up with one of the Codes in the end and take over the Geass Directorate together.

Cue centuries and centuries of hot Kalulu smex.

I have also been wondering about a plotline where C.C. brings Mao to Japan with her, rather than abandon him in China. Basically she meets Lelouch shortly after the invasion (we know she's seen Lelouch before, but she only confronts him after), once he has separated from Suzaku and gives him his Geass.

Mao is jealous of Lelouch since C.C. gave him a Geass as well, and notes that Lelouch has a particularly strong tendancy to lie. However, just as with Suzaku, Nunally is a key factor in Mao warming up to Lelouch and seeing his good side.

Lelouch would deduce a means of using his Geass on Mao to make him able to either tune out the voices he hears, trigger his mind to ignore them unless he wants to do otherwise, or even find the voices to be relaxing as opposed to a massive strain. This would allow him to grow up much more sane, and Lelouch would probably teach him not to rely on his Geass so much.

Mao and Lelouch end up forming a strong friendship equivalent to the one Lelouch shares with Suzaku, and Mao enrolls in Ashford, possibly being as popular with the ladies as Lelouch. The irony of a Mao x Shirley pairing is not lost on me, though he could also become close to Nunally once he matures and comes to see that there are more girls besides C.C. in the world.

I know its corny, but the title would be something like "Mind's Eye," referencing their respective Geass powers.

Actually, i had a similar idea some time ago. But it was more like this:

Terrorists that believes in the ideas of the emperor Lelouch, wants to raise him fwon yooo gwaive.

Something happens.

Lelouch is alive! Ohhh! And Gino dies pathetically.

Something else happens.

Lelouch and Kallen are living together happilly ever after. End!

Sorry to bring Gino's death, i know you're the biggest fan of Kagino, yvj, but it was an important point to the story.

Two new fic ideas (damn I wish I could actually write)!

The first idea was inspired by a story I noticed called The Dark Bride.

The Stadtfelds have some sort of business plan or alliance that they require the Ashford's help for, but the Ashfords are hesitant to join with them.

Somehow Kallen's father or stepmother learns about Lelouch and Nunally being royalty. Perhaps they discover it while searching for a means of bettering the negotiations, or perhaps one of the Ashfords who knows about Lelouch and wants the alliance tells them.

With the knowledge that the Ashfords have been commiting treason by hiding Lelouch and Nunally they decide to threaten to expose this fact if the Ashfords don't make an alliance with them. (They wouldn't just expose them for a reward off the bat, since the Ashfords knew Kallen was a halfblood, and that leaking that out would probably mean that no one would work with the Stadtfelds again).

They then decide to legitimize the alliance by arranged marriage between Lelouch and Kallen. They do this as an excuse, since they can't marry Kallen off easily since her parentage might be exposed, and the other family would be infuriated, and by marrying her off to Lelouch, they stop getting questions about when they'll actually use Kallen in an alliance.

This could be a mostly romance themed AU, or it could be an event that occurs in the actual storyline before or after Shinjuku.

The secnd idea (which could be combined with the first somehow) would involve Nunally being with Lelouch during Shinjuku.

Nunally would have heard of Shirley complaining of Lelouch's cutting class to go gambling and she would help devise a way to stop it. Knowing that Lelouch can't say no to her, Nunally will decide to insist that she go with him to his gambling sessions during class (she could make an adorable show of her wanting to emulate her dear brother and be a delinquent like him to get him to relent).

Since Shinjuku originally happened during school hours, the time of the attack could be bumped around (hey, it is fiction afterall) or Nunally may insist that Lelouch be able to conclude his last appointment he scheduled during school hours, since she regards it as a "promise" her brother made and that he should keep promises, but she will still accompany him.

I haven't quite fleshed out ideas for altering the part of Lelouch and Nunally making it into the truck, but things end up with Lelouch clutching Nunally as C.C. gives him his Geass. As a result of this Nunally could either have the Geass that the Emperor placed on her eyes and mind removed, she could receive her own Geass, or (preferably) both.

From here things could go a fair number of interesting directions. Lelouch would probably be more focused on trying to sneak out of Shinjuku since he needed to protect Nunally, but she would be crying about all the violence and killing of civilians, so he would reluctantly ask her permission to participate in the conflict if he could help the people (if you really want this scene to be powerful, then you could have Nunally recognize the smell of the dead bodies as the same as the time when she was asking about the smell of corpses and Lelouch lied, saying it was a waste dump nearby).

In this scenario Lelouch would probably focus on breaking the ghetto's encirclement raher than going after Clovis, but he might Geass a soldier to take Nunally to saftey and then go for Clovis himself, or Nunally could insist on wanting to see Clovis herself after Lelouch said he planned to sneak into the G-1 base and order Clovis to stop the massacre.

If you wanted to be cruel to Lelouch, then he could find Kallen and Geass her to take Nunally back to Ashford (and forget them both), since she would be less conspicuous at school than a soldier. Then when he tries to Geass answers out of her at Ashford, it doesn't work, and his questions make him unable to do anything but confess that he was the mystery voice, or claim that he was at least an ally of the voice.

For myself, I remember awhile back I was going to write an multi chapter fanfic regarding Lelouch and Kallen. I didn't want to have either character obviously in love with one another. Just try to build it up with their interactions with other characters like Nunnally, Suzaku, Shirley, Gino and Kallen's mom even random people among other stuff. I just couldn't get my thoughts about it completely together. I might try to organize it pretty soon though.

I already have an idea for my fan fic but could anybody help me with some minor details?

Prior to R2, did Schneizel already captured the EU? Cause in my fan fic, EU particularly France is still having a sense of independence and even deems to conquer the world market. I will be sincerely thankful to someone who answers this question since I want to fit the timeline of my story within the timeline of Code Geass.

To make you understand better here's my plot.

Pierre Chevalier, a French prince and an ace pilot of the 9th Generation Knightmare Napoleon, plans to bring glory to France by making Britannia lose their influence in the economy of Japan so that France and the EU will hopefully control the economic activities in Japan. He frees the Black Knights in captivity and surge them , under the guise of Zero to crush Britannian forces in Japan. CC agrees to this knowing that he will save Lelouch. Lelouch was then saved and became the regular Zero and the other honcho of the Black Knights. After the different insurgencies to the Britannian empire, came the war. The Black Knights led by him were about to win until they realized that he is just using them for his plans and will just control their government. Knowing this, the Black Knights attacked him and his forces who were coming to take control of Japan. Lelouch and Suzaku helped each other to beat Pierre. The Britannians wanted to thank the Elevens for saving them but the Emperor (in live Broadcast) used his Geass to make all the Britannians lose memory of that incident. He also did again the fabrication of Lelouch's memories and the people at the student council as well. After that comes R2.

So this is like an OVA which has no effect on the storyline (Black Knights caught again, Kallen and etc fled as with Diethard and co and their memories were erased)so I would like to confirm those above first.

I thought about this story for a long time but started to exactly write it quite unexpectedly even to mylself, so I'm surprised by the number of things. Firstly, I've never expected I would write so short chapters, as my only other fanfic started with more than 10 Word pages while these chapters barely take 2. I don't exactly like it, I like long chapters myself, but by the looks of it, I'll return to my usual style soon as they become longer and longer with each chapter.
Second, I never thought I would enjoy it as I do. I love all the characters so much I just start to create all the scenes just thinking about the characters. And that leads to never expecting I would write three chapters in three days...

But I'm also worried about a lot of things (as I'm perfectionalist even if I don't look like one). So I would be really grateful if you read the story so far and tell me your opinions about it and about things troubling me.

First, the idea. I know time-travel is bad taste, but I cannot write it any other way as I like to use all the small details about everything that happened with characters. I prefer continued development where series from where the seires left it to new/alternative development. Plus there are two events in the series I cannot admit no matter what, so I'm eager to rewrite them.
Second, thinking about it I wonder if the start was chosen unwisely, although I do like xxxHolic, not all the readers share my interest. Plus first 3 chapters are quite boring as they do not contain much action/difference to the original plotline. While just the idea of a new plotline centered on Clovis or Euphie deciding to enroll in Ashford dragging not only Suzaku, but Gino and Anya with her, rest along some some dramatic changes would have left a better impression.
Third, language. You might have already got that, but it's not my native language so I will never be good enough while using it and it's highly important.

Finally I'm sorry for saying so much and only about my fanfic, I'll surely check other fanfics posted here soon. But I would really appreciate your help with this story of mine.

P.S. Actually after the main plot (alternative events following the storyline till the end of R2) there's planned some probably unexpected development with Lelouch's attemps to fulfil his contract with C.C. Well, let me answer here and start with a thousand thanks))))) Really, it means a lot for me, first constructive review I couldn't wait for)
And thanks for assuring me that my language is tolerable to continue))) I'll be trying to improve, so if you see anything too much out of line, please tell me)
You see, my knowledge is mostly result of self-study since I've watched a lot of movies, read books etc. And while it's useful as it teaches "spoken language" it backfires as it comes to writing. it's a different story, and you should write it not only informative but also interesting. And trying to avoid simple and boring phrases I sometimes use awkward ones.
I use the other mark instead of " " since I'm first writing it in Open Office Writer.... Maybe I should start to write on Fanfiction.net directly, it saves it anyway.
Also about scene breaks... I was trying to make it more like a story since it's already too much like a script... But you are right, I'll watch for that later.

Now about plot issues). About Lelouch, I thought about it before writing... But actually in the opposite way. It's true that something like this is damn hard to comprehand. But we're talking about a person who once got Geass, immediately used it, and next... got into a Knightmare, picked up a chessboard and started commanding rebels nearby. Plus add everything that happened after that. Living a life like that for two years (with breaks =) ) one get used to it. Just like soldiers get used to fighting... So practicly now Lelouch is even more mentally stable than before. But he did, however, feel like he was loosing sanity for all the morning and so on till the phone call from Suzaku. And then we had something like the phenomen of rewriting, like one shock rewriting another in his mind. And also, that was the mental pull-up for him, as not being the only one, and especially the other one being Suzaku greatly released his tension. Nothing is more scary than solitude, even in this matters.
However, he still doubts if that's reality, it was stated in this thoughts in the beginning of chapter 3... The funny thing is, I say as a author and bystander, he's now once again drawn into the same kind of euphoria he had recieving the Geass for a first time. He does not believe this to be reality, he intends to go all the way be it reality or not, and if it's possible, make it reality. He is hyped. Also, he wins in both situations. If it is reality and he did indeed go to the past, then that's it, if not, going all the way will make him progress in whatever it may be. Plus, he hardly can keep his own desire to correct the mistakes he made. To say the truth, he is loosing it. It just might not be that bad after all.

And while I was writing it, I realized one huge mistake I made. Lelouch has to consider the possibility of other people also having their old memories. All right, I'll act as if he did think about it. After all, he didn't have any other way to make his contract with C.C. again and not provoke her to suspect anything. He might have been acting va-bank (putting everything at stake) since he couldn't do much anyway. If somebody important enough knew, he would have failed, but he didn't have any options. But he was lucky and succeeded. Now we add this thought as additional constant worry and pray to get away with it (now I mean the poor author me) )))

Finally, about xxxHolic stuff. You shouldn't worry you won't get the story if you don't know it. By the chain of events that lead to the wish-deal I rather meant the events in CG world after the end of R2, who decided to make a wish and how did that person teleport into other reality (as Yuuko's shop is situated in the world similar to our real one, mordern free Japan). There will be a conversation with Watanuki, but that's just a small bit.
But just in case, allow me to tell you everything essential about xxxHolic and also closely connected to it Tsubasa Cronicle (the two stories are actually one and the same, just different plotlines told under different names, but they start to cross more and more with the chapters to come). It would be useful even as the author is CLAMP, the same group that designed Code Geass characters, so you might find it fun to see the similarities (for clear example, Suzaku highly reminds of Tsubasa's main character, Li Shaoran (son), both in looks and character.

So series start with introducing Kimihiro Watanuki, the boy who can see the ghosts and is highly bothered by that fact as well as the problem of them being able to harm him and following him everywhere. He "mysteriously" (by chance... em, it's Yuuko'd phrase that's my favorite - "In his world, there's no coincidences. Only inevitability.") gets practicly dragged (by mere air or invisible forces) into a mansion I discribed in the first chapter (and here's the first reference). There he meets extremely eccentric person named Ichihara Yuuko, who says this place is a shop that grants wishes, but that require equal payment in return. She promises to grant his wish if he works in the shop part-time as an advanced payment. He accepts it. That lead him to take part in many stories and investigations involving the supernatural phemonena and make the story kind of a cycle of parables, showing that there are consequences to every action one makes, it's just that one doesn't always see them.
And as story progresses we find out more about Watanuki, up to the point that the "first" encounter with Yuuko wan't actually the first and he worked in the shop even as a child and he gave his childhood memories as an advanced payment for helping Saoran. Also helping Yuuko, a person who grants the wishes of others, he starts to understand her and wonder about who is going to grant her own wish and even promising her to do that (second reference).

And now about Tsubasa. It follows a different plot about Clow Country, it's princess called Sakura and her old childhood friend Shaoran (this two appear in Cardcaptor Sakura also and are the greatest canon pair of CLAMP even made). Strange chain of events lead her to loose her memories/parts of her heart (which first turn to wings on her back and then scatter over other dimentions). To save her they need to gather them as feathers (tsubasa means feather) back. To do that they get transported to Yuuko's shop where Shaoran as well as two strangers happen to be there ;) make a wish to get a means to travel between dimentions (shaoran's payment was that as Sakura will gather her memories back, her memories of him will be lost forever).Then they start to travel and gather feathers.
It would have been all a cute fairy-tale, but the reality was far more cruel. Actually the Saoran there (and later found, Sakura too) was a clone created by the main villian of the story since he needs Sakura's yet-to-appear power to grant his own wish.
It is also revealed that real Shaoran once wasn't able to save "his" real Sakura, and to change the turn of events he made a wish to go back in time (although it is a great sin) to save his beloved. And that's what one refered to when said Yuuko did it once before. (Third reference)

When I've seen C.C. in the end of R2's first ending, she really reminded me of Yuuko. And they are similar really, if the Geass is a wish, then she also is like a person granting others their wishes unable to grant her own and waiting for the person who will grant it for her.

No promises but I may dip my toes into the CG fanfiction business. Nothing serious, mostly for the lulz. So being completely in character will not be a priority over the giggles.

The problem is in theory I'm lazy person + I'd like other people's input into this little distraction = Suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

So I've got two ideas:

1) Tentatively titled "Code Leouch: How to be a player" Follow Lelouch's adventures as he attempts to handle his harem. It's awesome but exhausting Lelouch doesn't want to hurt anybody's feeling.....but he's gotta a lot of love to give, he's addicted and he doesn't want to lose any of his girls. 2) Code Geass Kids: Code Geass but kidi-fied for example:

The Code Geass kids are on the playground playing tag. Shirley and Kallen are IT and they're both chasing after Lelouch. Shirley's got a good lead so far and she reaches for him once but he dodges.

"Whoops I killed your dad. In theory you're supposed to hate me now."

Shirely stumbles but as she falls she reaches out to grab his arm. Lelouch does one of his dramatic poses and so his arm is now at an awkward angle.

"Whoops, I've decided its best for everybody if we act like this never happened....Geass Pose!"

Because of Lelouch's unexpected stance Shirley misses and falls to the ground. Dazed Shirley decides to quit but Kallen continues to chase after Lelouch. Kallen and Lelouch dance in circles for awhile. Until C.C who is not a player in the game starts tagging Lelouch multiple times and he lets her keep doing it. This upsets Kallen. She tries too hard to tag Lelouch, overextends herself, falls and skins her knee. Kallen is forced to go see the nurse for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile Lelouch and C.C trade baseball cards and gossip in secret. They make plans about what would be cool to do and how to get popular.

Suddenly Shirley returns, it turns out she never really quit at all! She makes a beeline straight for Lelouch. Lelouch starts to run again.

At first Shirley wants to pinch him for making her fall. But then she realizes Lelouch is too cute to pinch and goes back to her original plan. If she catches Lelouch she's going to give him the note she made in first period.

"Lelouch Do you like me?" Yes, No, Maybe? from Shirley

Shirley is running after Lelouch like a little girl possessed. While she was out of the game she drank some Moutain Dew and ate some chocolate so she's got a sugar rush. She's almost up to him, he's within range. She reaches.....

And Rolo sticks out his foot and trips her. Shirley reaches out for Lelouch but just brushes his hair before hitting the ground hard.

Rolo takes the note and scribbles out Shirley's name and puts his.

"Lelouch Do you like me?" Yes, No, Maybe? from Rolo"

Shirley breaks her nose, cries and unfortunately has to go home early.

Kallen steps out of the nurse's office and immediately goes after Lelouch. In a matter of seconds she closes the gap between. Kallen springs like a panther and tackles Lelouch to the ground. Then she flips him over and gives her trophy a sweet adolescent kiss on the lip.

Kallen: "Hey Lelouch I think you slowed down on purpose did you let me win?"

Lelouch *angrily gets up*: This game stinks. I don't wanna play with you anymore. Me C.C, and Suzaku are going to go smoke in the bathroom and you can't come.

Kallen: "But that's against the rules..."

Lelouch *arrogantly*: So what? I do what I want! I'm not a big baby like you, get lost!

Kallen watches sadly as Lelouch pulls out a pack of Newports, hands some cigarettes to C.C and Suzaku and they head towards the bathroom.

Kallen is very sad at first but then she gets angry. Who was Lelouch calling a baby? She bursts into the bathroom, then she snatches the cigarette from C.C's lips before pushing her down. She tosses C.C's cancer stick into the toilet and flushes it.

"Hey!"

Suddenly Suzaku steps forward. Suzaku and Kallen were rivals and they always tried to beat each other in basketball, marbles and dodge ball. Suzaku and Kallen start to fight. Kicking and clawing they fight for a long time. When Kallen is finally able to push Suzaku down she falls herself and exhausted they both take a nap on the bathroom floor.

The next day Kallen comes to school and Suzaku tells her Lelouch got caught smoking and he's now been expelled. His parents sent him to a boarding school because of his behavior.

Kallen walks away from Suzaku with tears in her eyes. She gets to her desk and finds an envelope on it. The envelope says From Lelouch. she opens it up and discovers the Lelouch has left her a baseball card and a note.

This is my favorite baseball card in the world please take care of it.

From then on Kallen didn't cry anymore.

Well, let me answer here and start with a thousand thanks))))) Really, it means a lot for me, first constructive review I couldn't wait for)
And thanks for assuring me that my language is tolerable to continue))) I'll be trying to improve, so if you see anything too much out of line, please tell me)
You see, my knowledge is mostly result of self-study since I've watched a lot of movies, read books etc. And while it's useful as it teaches "spoken language" it backfires as it comes to writing. it's a different story, and you should write it not only informative but also interesting. And trying to avoid simple and boring phrases I sometimes use awkward ones.
I use the other mark instead of " " since I'm first writing it in Open Office Writer.... Maybe I should start to write on Fanfiction.net directly, it saves it anyway.
Also about scene breaks... I was trying to make it more like a story since it's already too much like a script... But you are right, I'll watch for that later.

Now about plot issues). About Lelouch, I thought about it before writing... But actually in the opposite way. It's true that something like this is damn hard to comprehand. But we're talking about a person who once got Geass, immediately used it, and next... got into a Knightmare, picked up a chessboard and started commanding rebels nearby. Plus add everything that happened after that. Living a life like that for two years (with breaks =) ) one get used to it. Just like soldiers get used to fighting... So practicly now Lelouch is even more mentally stable than before. But he did, however, feel like he was loosing sanity for all the morning and so on till the phone call from Suzaku. And then we had something like the phenomen of rewriting, like one shock rewriting another in his mind. And also, that was the mental pull-up for him, as not being the only one, and especially the other one being Suzaku greatly released his tension. Nothing is more scary than solitude, even in this matters.
However, he still doubts if that's reality, it was stated in this thoughts in the beginning of chapter 3... The funny thing is, I say as a author and bystander, he's now once again drawn into the same kind of euphoria he had recieving the Geass for a first time. He does not believe this to be reality, he intends to go all the way be it reality or not, and if it's possible, make it reality. He is hyped. Also, he wins in both situations. If it is reality and he did indeed go to the past, then that's it, if not, going all the way will make him progress in whatever it may be. Plus, he hardly can keep his own desire to correct the mistakes he made. To say the truth, he is loosing it. It just might not be that bad after all.

And while I was writing it, I realized one huge mistake I made. Lelouch has to consider the possibility of other people also having their old memories. All right, I'll act as if he did think about it. After all, he didn't have any other way to make his contract with C.C. again and not provoke her to suspect anything. He might have been acting va-bank (putting everything at stake) since he couldn't do much anyway. If somebody important enough knew, he would have failed, but he didn't have any options. But he was lucky and succeeded. Now we add this thought as additional constant worry and pray to get away with it (now I mean the poor author me) )))

Finally, about xxxHolic stuff. You shouldn't worry you won't get the story if you don't know it. By the chain of events that lead to the wish-deal I rather meant the events in CG world after the end of R2, who decided to make a wish and how did that person teleport into other reality (as Yuuko's shop is situated in the world similar to our real one, mordern free Japan). There will be a conversation with Watanuki, but that's just a small bit.
But just in case, allow me to tell you everything essential about xxxHolic and also closely connected to it Tsubasa Cronicle (the two stories are actually one and the same, just different plotlines told under different names, but they start to cross more and more with the chapters to come). It would be useful even as the author is CLAMP, the same group that designed Code Geass characters, so you might find it fun to see the similarities (for clear example, Suzaku highly reminds of Tsubasa's main character, Li Shaoran (son), both in looks and character.

So series start with introducing Kimihiro Watanuki, the boy who can see the ghosts and is highly bothered by that fact as well as the problem of them being able to harm him and following him everywhere. He "mysteriously" (by chance... em, it's Yuuko'd phrase that's my favorite - "In his world, there's no coincidences. Only inevitability.") gets practicly dragged (by mere air or invisible forces) into a mansion I discribed in the first chapter (and here's the first reference). There he meets extremely eccentric person named Ichihara Yuuko, who says this place is a shop that grants wishes, but that require equal payment in return. She promises to grant his wish if he works in the shop part-time as an advanced payment. He accepts it. That lead him to take part in many stories and investigations involving the supernatural phemonena and make the story kind of a cycle of parables, showing that there are consequences to every action one makes, it's just that one doesn't always see them.
And as story progresses we find out more about Watanuki, up to the point that the "first" encounter with Yuuko wan't actually the first and he worked in the shop even as a child and he gave his childhood memories as an advanced payment for helping Saoran. Also helping Yuuko, a person who grants the wishes of others, he starts to understand her and wonder about who is going to grant her own wish and even promising her to do that (second reference).

And now about Tsubasa. It follows a different plot about Clow Country, it's princess called Sakura and her old childhood friend Shaoran (this two appear in Cardcaptor Sakura also and are the greatest canon pair of CLAMP even made). Strange chain of events lead her to loose her memories/parts of her heart (which first turn to wings on her back and then scatter over other dimentions). To save her they need to gather them as feathers (tsubasa means feather) back. To do that they get transported to Yuuko's shop where Shaoran as well as two strangers happen to be there ;) make a wish to get a means to travel between dimentions (shaoran's payment was that as Sakura will gather her memories back, her memories of him will be lost forever).Then they start to travel and gather feathers.
It would have been all a cute fairy-tale, but the reality was far more cruel. Actually the Saoran there (and later found, Sakura too) was a clone created by the main villian of the story since he needs Sakura's yet-to-appear power to grant his own wish.
It is also revealed that real Shaoran once wasn't able to save "his" real Sakura, and to change the turn of events he made a wish to go back in time (although it is a great sin) to save his beloved. And that's what one refered to when said Yuuko did it once before. (Third reference)

Thanks of you really read all that, it was hell long but it's all you ever need to understand my story or any reference to Holic or Tsubasa)))))

When I've seen C.C. in the end of R2's first ending, she really reminded me of Yuuko. And they are similar really, if the Geass is a wish, then she also is like a person granting others their wishes unable to grant her own and waiting for the person who will grant it for her.

Good point about Lelouch. Perhaps instead of him having major doubts, you could show how he realised? "Show, don't tell" is an old proverb in fanfiction (lol or not that old), so it might have been better to show him looking at the calender, questioning it in his thoughts and finally realising a few seconds later, rather then just saying that he looked at the calender and realised. :)

She was sure she couldn't ever come to like anything in this foolish narcissistic and extremely childish person. Was it the way he mixed pretentious speeches with sarcastic remarks?

5. Oriental Magic.

Maybe she was a sorceress to cast a spell on him like that, he wondered as he couldn't take his eyes off her. She was arranging an ikebana.

6. Portrait.

He knew he had to draw her standing with her fingers crossed and catch that warm-hearted image mismatching the shrewd look in her eyes. The problem was, he felt like these piercing eyes were laughing at his attempts to do so. All the time.

7. Fireflies.

Some consider life to be an album of spectacular memories. Have you ever seen hundreds of little nimble torches illuminating the lake? They did.

8. Raindrops.

It was while thousands of raindrops were pattering on the pane the idea came to her. Maybe he wasn't stupid at all, just had never been really interested in anything. His eyes were sparking now with childish enthusiasm as he was telling her his projects for the grand amusement park. He used some profitable ideas. In other words, she wanted to visit the place already.

9. Flowers.

She was pleasantly surprised when receiving a special invitation to the opening of the Clovisland. But she wondered why it had to be a helicopter until she realized that the pretentious building in the very center indeed was a gigantic lily decorated with myriad of small ones planted on the celling. After all, she's never told him it was her favorite flower.

10. Conjurers.

Narcissistic artist and crafty politician. Britannia's Ex-Prince and Ex-Japan's Noble Lady. The public would love that. And there are ceaselessly many ways to use this veneration for their personal little goals.

When I think about different plots, I just can't help adding someone seeing this scene as they drive/fly past them.
I'm starting to grow so fond of them... I already have solid plans about Clovis's destined person in the story I'm currently writing, so maybe I write another story about them once... Somehow, it asks for a fairy-tale powdered with sarcasm.

And just how could his way of thinking make me like him so much when it was I who created him thinking that way?

Otherwise, I'm thinking endlessly of the ways to improve my fanfic. I'll try to change my style of writing and put more effort into describing scenes and actions. I've realized that although I as an author see every scene clearly, it might not be the same for readers. Plus I should make better use of details and traits, as I love making little traits like gestures, phrases and such have a deep meaning. I hope I'll be able to pull that off...

C.C. somehow gave Clovis a Geass during the course of the Code-R experiments called Absolute Entrapment. When Lelouch confronted him in Shinjuku, Clovis used it to paralyze Lelouch and 'catch up on family time' with him...

Tickling with Clovis's paint brushes may have been invloved, and Lelouch left the G-1 base that day with the understanding that not everything in the world needed to be gentle...

Just read it. And again, I really like how you write him (and the bit with Shirley is awesome, too, but as a rabid Clovis fangirl, I have to keep focus xD).
The only thing where our perceptions really differ is the "disgusting Elevens" thing, because I always thought Clovis simply didn't give a damn about them... or anyone outside of his family, for the matter.
But since canon doesn't say much about that, that's simply a matter of intrpretation, and I can enjoy different opinion without trouble if the writer can pull it of nicely, which is definitely the case here.

Just a very slight grammar thing I noticed:
"I don't understand what are you talking about" Clovis answered, (...)
-> I think you should switch the "are" and the "you", so that it's "I don't understand what you are talking about."
But... yeah, just a very slight thing. I really enjoyed reading your fic, and Clovis' contemplations are awesome.

Ah, I think most writers strive to improve themselves. I always find myself aiming for perfection, even though I know that it's not a realistic goal, since there's always something new to learn.
For example, I recently wrote my first ever serious fanfic poem (about... Clovis! Am I not incredibly hard to predict? xD), and now find myself obsessing over every single line, re-reading it and re-reading it,... I think I'll just go ahead and post it one of these days before it kills me. xD
So yeah, I'm sure you'll manage. I already like your writing style, and I feel you have a very good grasp on the characters. From there on, improvement should be far from being impossible and might even come naturally.

Honestly, if you get to read the chapter when Kallen and Milly discover the pleasures of adult life together and NOT get embarassed, then stick with it... When they fight one another it’s almost as intimate and exciting as having sex, and when they fuck, it’s almost as vicious as battle. His hands on her waist, pushing her against the wall and lapping at her neck – and her hands in his hair, tugging so that he whines, and she pushes back against him, just as demanding and just as strong. There is no need for gentleness between them, they know each other’s strength. Neither will break. And yet after, when they are both panting and spent, he’ll brush the hair from her eyes and she’ll let him.


“I’m sorry,” he murmurs as she glares at him from her cell, smiling that horrible false smile. “But did you honestly think that you, a pilot, a chess piece in my game, could ever earn my regard? You shouldn’t be so careless with your heart.”

She looks away so that he won’t see the tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. She doesn't speak, and after a moment he gives up on attempting conversation.
It is too precious a thing, he adds silently, walking away. You should give it to someone who deserves it better than me.

“President!” she complains, “Don’t look at me like that!”

Milly jumps, a little surprised at getting caught, but within an instant she’s smiling lecherously. “Well then, don’t take off your clothes in such a se-duc-tive way!” she says, drawing out the ‘seductive’ with an outrageous wiggle of her eyebrows. Shirley shrieks and turns away, blushing, her back to the other girls as they laugh at her embarrassment.

“Thinking of Lulu?” teases Milly, prompting another round of laughter. Good. She doesn’t want them to notice her own blush, the look in her eyes as she takes in the sight of the other girl’s body. It’s only alright as long as none of them believe she’s serious.

It’s drizzling, and the air smells fresh and clean like it always does after a thunderstorm. She peeks out from the overhang they’ve sheltered under, eyes wide and curious.

“Isn’t it lovely,” she says, turning to him with a smile, “The way everything seems to come alive when it’s raining?”

And it’s just like her to find something beautiful on a cold, grey, miserable day like this. He finds himself breaking into a smile, a laugh almost. When she turns to him with a pout, asking what’s so funny, he gives her a quick, chaste kiss that makes her blush.

After spending over four hours in a hot, stuffy knightmare, clad in spandex and a suffocating mask, there was nothing Lelouch liked better than to come home to a nice, warm, cleansing shower. He leaned back into the spray, feeling all the grit and grime falling away under the warm water, utterly content.

The bathroom door opened without warning, and a hand pulled the shower curtain away.

“You’re using up all the hot water,” CC informed him as he squawked indignantly and attempted to cover himself up, blushing furiously. She let the curtain fall back and left without another word.

Suzaku’s hands have always been strong. Tanned from the sun, rough and callused from climbing trees and handling weapons, scarred from years of fighting.

These hands, touching him. Pulling him up a hill. Patting his hair awkwardly. Tickling his ribs. Caressing his face. Smoothing over his chest and back. Making him gasp and moan in pleasure.

These hands, shaking on the gun. These hands, dragging him to his father and holding him down as he screams and begs. These hands, firing on his army.

One thing I did forget to mention in my review is that you did make a canonical error. Shirley wasn't orphaned after the Narita incident. Only her dad died. Her mother was still alive and she was actually survived by her mother.

I KNEW I forgot to mention something in my review! I honestly wanted to thank you for that. I know it seems gruesome, but most people have commented that Shirley's mother was one of the least considered, yet most screwed over characters by eyerything that happened in the series, and I think that killing her off in the FLEIJA blast was one of the more humane things to do to her given everything that she had to deal with.

I know that with Shirley alive in your story it does mean she's an orphan now, and that her mother wouldn't be trully reunited with her family yet, but I doubt Shirley could have been allowed to contact her and say she's fine at any point after her 'death,' so the poor woman would have essentially been left to rot.

In any case keep up the awesome work!

Code Geass.............and Twilight? No. I'm sorry buddy, but just no. I hate to burst your bubble, but quite frankly I'm not surprised at the negative responses you've been getting.

Code Geass and Twilight. I mean the two are just so fundamentally different and the very idea is so flimsy that I highly doubt that there's any possible way that it could work. Not to mention the two have very different fanbases. Besides, a lot of people hate Twilight.

But what do you mean exactly when you say you're an "anti"? Are saying that this is a comedy that makes fun of Twilight and/or Code Geass. If so, I guess that could possibly work. But still, it's gonna be hard to win people over.

Just figured I'd upload this little diddy to the fanfic thread while I'm at it. Hope you like.

It was a tranquil spring day around the isolated little cabin, and the sunshine brightly lit up its interior. Inside the modest, humble abode was a single white room. A room as white and clean and sterile as could be allowed for Shirley Fenette. She sat in the straightened, well-made bed with her upper body completely erect. Her eyes glassy and dead, unblinking; the rest of her body unmoving and unflinching. It had been five years since that fateful day.

Don't worry. It's time to forget all the bad things that have happened to you.

I can't.

Yes, you can. I'll have you forget all the fuss.

Impossible.

Shirley, I'm sorry about your father. If I could be reborn into a new life, I would...

Lulu...don't....no!

Shirley, I command you to forget everything!

And with that command she truly had forgotten everything. She had forgotten who she was, what she was, and had lost all sense of being, leaving her mind completely inert.

It was almost immediately after he had given the command that Lelouch realized his foolish mistake. His first emotions were that of shock and fear, and then, as he finally came to realize the reality and irreversibility of the situation, he was overcome with an immense feeling of dread and guilt. He had already brought enough pain on Shirley and had gotten her involved in a situation in which she had no business being in. And now she was a mindless vegetable. It was all too much.

There was a knock on the door.

“Shirley. I’m coming in.”

The door opened, and through it walked in Lelouch who was holding a tray. The tray itself held a spoon, some napkins, and a bowl that contained Shirley’s afternoon meal.

“How are you doing Shirley?” He walked over to the bed. “I brought strawberry apple sauce today. It’s your favorite.”

Of course Lelouch’s courtesy of leaving the door closed and knocking before entering, as well as his very communication with Shirley, was purely a means of affection. Logically, it would make no difference whether or not he talked to her or what kind of conditions she lived in since she couldn’t acknowledge it either way. But he couldn’t do that. She was still human after all, and a very kind and loving one at that. Or at least she had been. To treat even her unconscious body without the proper care and respect of a normal person, to him, was unfathomable. Besides, she was all he had. She was the only thing he had to live for, ever since that fateful day when he left everything else behind.

It was a horrific sight. He saw her lifeless motionless body just lying there, and he knew it was entirely his fault. A storm of emotions bombarded his mind. He desperately tried to regain control and make sense of the mind-blowing circumstances surrounding him. It was then that he came to the shocking realization that his old life was over.

He couldn’t bear it. He couldn’t stand to go on. Even in spite of everything he had accomplished. Becoming Zero. Recruiting the Black Knights. Establishing himself as a viable threat to Britannia. None of that mattered now. He just couldn’t continue with that life. Not after what he’d done.

He had decided, or rather he was forced, to leave it all behind. From then on it was only him and Shirley. He had abandoned everything else. He had abandoned the Black Knights. He had abandoned his life at Ashford. He had abandoned his contract with C.C. And worst of all he had abandoned his sister Nunnally. He took Shirley with him that day and left them all to their uncertain fates. He never knew what became of them and, truly, he didn’t want to know. He just wanted to forget, much like Shirley had.

He sat himself next to the bed where he had fed her, talked to her, and performed several other tasks for her many times before.

“Be sure you eat it all Shirley, you have to keep your strength up. And if it stays sunny maybe we can go for a walk later today.”

He placed the tray on the bed as he prepared to feed her. He took a small spoonful of applesauce with one hand and opened her jaw with the other. He gingerly brought the spoon to her mouth and emptied the contents inside, after which he reclosed her jaw and tilted her head back. After a few seconds he tilted her head forward again and prepared another spoonful. However, this task was short-lived as he noticed a trickle of red liquid streaming from the edge of her mouth. Lelouch quickly grabbed a napkin and brought it to her face as the applesauce began to dribble out of her mouth. It was not the first time this had happened.

Taking care of Shirley had proven to be an arduous task, but it was one that Lelouch found gave him meaning. Outside of the involuntary functions of her body, everything had to be done for her. He fed her, dressed her, and even bathed her. He had had experience taking care of Nunnally, but nothing compared to taking care of a girl who couldn’t even keep a spoonful of applesauce in her mouth. But it could have been worse. At least she didn’t choke on it this time.

There were some aspects he liked about it though. He enjoyed the time the two of them spent together, and since he controlled almost every aspect of her life and had to be sure she was always given the proper attention, it was assured that his mind was constantly occupied. There was also a certain sense of pride in knowing that this girl was entirely dependent on him and through his own sacrifice and commitment he had been able to keep her alive for five years. In spite of these small rewards and pleasures, however, he would have gladly taken it all back in a heartbeat.

The guilt was still there, giving him many sleepless nights with intense remorse as his only bedside companion. If only he had finished the sentence with “…about Zero” or “…about Lelouch.” He had played the scene over and over in his head, hundreds of times over the course of five years, forever regretting that momentary lapse of judgment.

He finished wiping her face clean and threw the napkin into the nearby trashcan. He moved the tray to the end table. He sighed and looked at her. He felt so helpless.

“It’s okay Shirley, you don’t have to eat right now. You can eat when you’re ready.”

Tears began to well up in his eyes.

“You don’t have to eat if you don’t want. We can just talk. We can just enjoy each others company.”

Clearly getting choked up as he spoke, he took a moment to recompose himself. He fought back the tears and the rising lump in his throat, as he tried to just have a normal conversation. He calmed himself and continued.

“Can you believe it’s been five years Shirley? Five years, just the two of us.” He paused and turned his head to look around the room. “We’ve had some good times, haven’t we? I remember the first day I brought you here and it was so empty, and everything looked so neat and tidy. It was like we were given a fresh start and, well…”

He noticed the empty and sterile environment of the room.

“…Well, I guess it hasn’t changed much.”

He lowered his head. He took a long pause and a deep breath, and then continued.

“It was good back at Ashford, wasn’t it? We had some fun times. I remember Rivalz and Nina and the Pres and all those crazy events she used to throw. We had it good there, didn’t we?”

His hands began to tremble.

“I know you had some good times there. I know I didn’t take much notice of you when we first met, but your cheerful laugh and your smile always seemed to brighten up the room.”

Tears began to well in eyes again.

“I remember how you would always goof around. I remember that you were terrible at cooking and you were always so clumsy and awkward. But still, you were just so happy and you were always so much fun to be around. And I remember the day…the day you came to me with those tickets, like we would go out on a date, and…and…”

The tears began to fall.

In the whole five years they had been together, though he had talked to her about many other things, he had never once talked to her about the incident. He had never talked to her about her father’s death, or about him being Zero, or her supposed murder of a Britannian soldier, or the hateful geass that he had placed on her. He didn’t want to confront it. Like with everything else, he just wanted to forget. He couldn’t face the reality of what he had done and wanted to bury it all under the new life he had created.

But it couldn’t stay buried forever. The years had taken their toll on him and it was on this day, the fifth anniversary of the incident, that he found he could no longer deny the truth. His emotions were surging forth and, willingly or not, he was going to confront them. His emotions burst out in a force unlike anything he had felt in five years.

“I’m sorry!”

The tears fell from his face onto his lap.

“I’m so sorry!”

He leaned his arms on the bed for support.

“You were always such a kind girl. You were always there for me, and I took it for granted. Your bright smile always made me so happy. And then…it was gone. Your smile was taken away. And it was all my fault! I took everything away from you! I would do anything, anything, to take it all back!”

He fell forward and sobbed into her lap.

“Please, Shirley I just want to see you smile again. Please, just once…just once.”

In his flurry of emotions, he had let everything out. Five years of pent up emotional turmoil had all come gushing out like a geyser, and there was only one thing left to say. The one final emotion which he had to confront and he would finally be free. He spoke the words which, perhaps, he should have spoken five years ago.

“I love you Shirley.”

And in that instant, something clicked. Deep down inside Shirley’s consciousness, Lelouch’s words had ignited a fuse, which led to a chain of events that were slowly reawakening Shirley’s mind, all stimulated by a force even more powerful than the geass. The power of love. Her sense of being was slowly being restored, and suddenly it was as if a dark suffocating veil had been lifted.

For the first time in five years, Shirley spoke.

“……Lulu.”

At first he wasn’t even sure if he heard it. Or maybe he had just imagined it. He went dead silent, but then spoke.

“What?”

He went silent again. He heard a voice.

“Lulu”

He heard her voice.

He immediately rose out of her lap to look at her. Shockingly, he watched as she turned her head to face him. Stunned, he grabbed her by the shoulders.

“Shirley. Shirley, is that you? Can you talk, Shirley? Can you hear me, Shirley? Can you hear me?”

She smiled.

“Yes……Lulu.”

It was then he knew he was in the presence of a miracle. All he could do was just look at her. Look at her and her beautiful smile. As tears streamed down his face he was overtaken by a whole new wave of unbridled emotions, unlike anything he had ever felt in his life. He took her in a loving embrace. As his joyful tears continued to fall, Shirley began to release her own tears of happiness.

At that moment it was just the two of them. Two halves of a whole miracle. A girl who had persevered and survived and had gained the will to break through a seemingly unstoppable force, and a boy who, once he had faced his fears and his emotions, was able to break her free of a curse that had taken away her life. The two were together, and they let themselves soak in the joy and comfort of their beautiful unity.

And it was the happiest moment of either of their lives.

Helping Suzaku protect Euphemia from Kewell's chaos mine, and single handedly saving Cornelia in Saitama...you read that right. Also, Clovis lives and is going to visit Ashford soon...

Another interesting AU idea came to me after reading 2stupid's story Red Shards.

Basically, Marianne either on a whim, or because she actually cared about her children decides not to stay possessing Anya, but to go with Lelouch and Nunally to Japan either as an attendant, or actually possessing one of them.

There would be some issues with keeping Lelouch hating Britannia enough to become Zero if Marianne revealled herself and everything, but it might be worked around if Marianne stayed in Nunally's, or Sayoko's body once they settled at Ashford, rather than Lelouch's. She could also spend alot of her time just possessing random people to run about the settlement.

If she did possess Lelouch during Shinjuku, then it would be amusing for her to take over once Suzaku was chasing Lelouch, and for her to actually beat the Lancelot.

Nice. One thing that doesn't make sense though is

that the first time Shirley comes into contact with Lelouch after her initially presumed death right before he infiltrates the Geass Directorate. This is because of the significance of her death and that Geass was responsible, which led to him getting enraged and ordering a massacre, which subsequently led to further distrust and the subsequent betrayal by the Black Knights. And after all of this transpires, Lelouch believes himself to be at the point of no return and later plans out Zero Requiem as a means of self-punishment and giving the world its future. Not to mention of course that by now Lelouch cuts his ties with everyone but Suzaku and C. C. in order to keep them from getting involved.

It would have made more sense for Shirley to somehow make her reappearance somewhere in the middle of ZR to make Lelouch realize what he had been doing was senseless given that her death in the original was one of the key reasons he chose his path, and that he could still stick to his plan of uniting the world through fear and hatred around him without actually dying, minimizing the actual body count and relying more on intimidating propaganda, and of course rewriting his plans in such a way in order to justify his then secretly continued existence, since he was no longer going down as a monster.

A couple of other things...

Why did Lelouch secretly have Schneizel freed? Considering that Schneizel was meant to serve Zero as originally planned by Lelouch, was it someone else who had his Geass command to do so removed, or did he break it by his own will? And isn't Rivalz too young to have been around as a Knight of Rounds from the period of time where both Marianne and Bismarck were among its ranks, which of course predates both Lelouch and Nunnally?

I like fumbling!clueless!Lelouch in my PWP no matter who he's with, but for some reason I think it's really hot when he manages to dominate Suzaku due to personality rather than strength. I... I don't know why.

Actually, I usually don't like Semezaku, because people tend to make Lelouch so incredibly fail and neglet his awesomeness in that kind of fic. Either that or it's too angsty for my taste. xD
But if it's well-written, I'm not too picky... I think.

However, I believe I could never write this "typical" uke-seme stuff myself. If I have one character bottoming most of the time, I always find myself trying to kill the sterotypes throrugh other means. Or it just happens.
Either way, I'm usually for more balanced relationships... even though seme!Lelouch is kind of unbelievably incredibly hot.

Since that doesn't happen in my story, as Lelouch never loses control of his Geass, two years together, and then getting married is not terribly abrupt. ^^;

Never fear, Nobody. There will be some more focus on that in the coming chapters leading up to the wedding.

Nunners being surprised about it does seem kind of strange I'm sure, but it was intentional. Well, stereotypes are stereotypes, so it's not really surprising that the characters tend to get OOC if someone is hell-bent on applying cliches to a relationship. But yeah, it's especially bad with Lelouch and Suzaku, because even though I'm convinced a talented author can make almost everything work, the core of their canon relationship is that they balance each other out.
I'll easier buy into this thing if you throw in Clovis, because I can so see him jumping Lelouch and Lelouch being all "wtf, I have to take over the world, go away", but even then... I just don't do well with sterotypes. xD
But when it comes to the hotness... well...

Well, I have no doubt both "LelouchxSuzaku" and "SuzakuxLelouch" can be IC, but I'll usually only read the latter if I have very good reason to assume it fits with my tastes, because I'm kind of traumatized by ukefyed!Lelouch.
I dunno... all those people claiming Lelouch is totally uke by default and being dead serious about it have gotten to me, as well as fics in which he is horribly OOC just so that he fits the stereotype.
Flustered Lelouch can be cute, though. So can annoyed-as-hell Lelouch and let's-hug-him-he-needs-it-even-if-he-doesn't-know-yet Lelouch.

For the technical writing craft: It was well written, it had fine strategic uses of humor and above average narrative for fan fiction. At times it was cute.

Now for my unneeded opinion. It might have given me cavities. Secondly I don't recall seeing a single mention of Lelouch or Zero. So that is kind of a WTF? Finally I don't like Kagino so that might have swayed my opinion a little bit on the entire thing.

That being said I'm going watch Lelouch geassing Shirley on a continuous loop so I can somehow geass myself into forgetting about this adventure :heh:

Well unfortunately I don't think plagiarism laws cover fanfiction. Do you know if this was intentional or not? If it wasn't intentional than it's probably a million-monkey-with-typewriters kind of deal and it's really no ones fault. If it was intentional then...well, it's pretty low of this guy, but as you said people are noticing so in the end he'll get what's coming to him/her.

Consider it, in Italy the plagiarism is a routine, 80% of comic designers (with a paycheck) copy from tv productions and japanese manga.

I'm not innocent, I use anime characters for my manga, but I have the wisdom to invent a alternative story and write the original copyrights every time.
And I'm in chat with people every time ask me what I'm drawing or my ideas for....to take advantage of them, but I'm not stupid.

But about private stuff like a fanfiction, comics, etc...without a authorized copyright license, is a lost battle.

I have an idea about Lelouch becoming Kamen Rider Black/RX
His body would of been put on Damucles as well as the Shinkirou (its remains still inside after the battle with the Tristin Divider) and were sent toword the sun but when the fortress was being destroyed, The World of C sense something that would stop the future to continue (which would disobey the command from Lelouch to continue tomorrow) and decided to return his consious mind to his body as well as a Geass/king Stone (the original things that help creating the codes and geass) and with it being energized the the sun transform his body, his knightmare frame, as well as reconstructing Damucles to stop this force.

the Grand Lord Crisis split his mind to another parrelel world to conquor and brought his own army which could also merge with the knightmare frames they hade collected.

It will take place in 2021 a.t.b. with Lelouch as RX (arriving on Earth a year ago and set secret locations near the Thought Elevators which he could teleport himself to those locations if the enemy was nearby) facing the arrive crisis empire

Lelouch's time in C's world let him learn of all fighting styles of people in history and his body stronger. His knightmare frame is reborn and named Acro but does not have a hup back, he pilots it in the chest area able to move it with his mind

anyways that's the premise of my fic, let me know how it sounds :DAside from the super-pilot out of nowhere part, which I just let fly because of suspension of disbelief, that doesn't make much sense. Before and during Lelouch's takeover, no one was fighting. Who'd be stupid enough to try when the Black Knights would get nuked in every engagement? Furthermore, unless your character has been living under a rock, he would have gotten the message a hell of a lot sooner. He had what amounts to three months. Assuming you mean the takeover to be during the period after Lelouch stole the Damocles, you still have the nuking problem.

Then there's the decay part. Even if Britannia had a large portion of their production committed to war efforts, which Lelouch likely dealt with during his time as Emperor, they'd still need massive amounts of secondary services, more than enough to keep the economy going. If anyone is going to suffer, it'd be Japan, what with the giant whole in its capital and its sakuradite mountain blown up.

Aside from those problems, the general idea sound ok.

That is practically what would happen.

More mobility for the Knightmares in the air, perhaps, but they will be slaughtered in the land.

Plus, Gundams and mobile suits would have better armor. Toss in elements like Gundanium or Phase Shift or GN-Particles and Knightmare Frames wouldn't fare well at all.

Also Kira Yamato cares not for the mobility of his opponents in battle. It is not an obstacle for his precise aim.

Yeah...Knightmare just can't compare in the mecha department. Even regular ZAKUs and GOUFs will slaughter them.

We're talking about a man who can shoot off the heads and weapons of dozens of mobile suits at once, WHILE THEY ARE IN MOTION, without killing a single person. Shooting down a few Knightmare Frames in the air would be nothing to him, really.

I didn't get into detail :heh: and he's from a Alternate time line where the british are not the most powerful Country. instead its more like the modern day of RL but mechinized. He's geass is like Suzaku's live curse. it unleashes his full potential and more increasing his heart rate and other stuff like a huge Adrinaline rush. I had a other idea where the geass made him link with his Mech and pretty much become one with it. kinda like in G Gundam.
