Yukimaro plans to ensure his own security by presenting this base to Britannia. Having received a request from the Chinese Federation, Orpheus and the others make a direct raid on this remote region base that’s concealed by deep greenery in the southern region of the Chinese Federation. Dozens of Knightmares await them there. In defiance of them, Orpheus approaches the base.

The mission this time is to rescue a young genius Indian scientist, Neha Shankar, who was left behind there.

First of all, the britannian now are the main characters, but they're all good people.

I've only read the summaries provided by Eternal Dreamer, but I don't think it's all that different from the typical Gundam side story. Not to mention that they still have an unknown amount of time to wrap things up, so to speak, before the events of the second anime season come to pass, which may or may not resolve whatever issues you find to be questionable.

I believe you've previously made this same observation about the rest of the series, no? To some extent that's inevitable, since the writer is Japanese after all. It's not exactly a surprising development that the mindset of these writers would tend to reflect their own culture. I consider that to be normal in anime and manga.

Well, aside from the above reply, perhaps we should keep in mind that even the so-called "Japanese" attitudes aren't inherently unknown in other cultures, although they might be emphasized more or less depending on the individual and his or her surrounding context.

It's a matter of perspective. I think your recollection is incomplete and somewhat inaccurate, but the main counter-argument would be that even racist individuals aren't necessarily evil all the time. Especially not if the new story is told from the point of view of Britannians with a personality who aren't being treated as faceless obstacles in Lelouch's path.

Besides...the first series, as you mentioned, took place in Japan. It's not too difficult to believe that permanent occupation forces would be worse, comparatively speaking, than a new unit that seems to consist of relatively inexperienced youths. I also don't get the impression they're going around denouncing racism and saving the Japanese or anything like that, so it d doesn't come across as a true contradiction. If they are simply being shown as sympathetic characters, I have no issues with that.

Personally, I like the more down to Earth, stronger Worldbuilding approach Akito is taking. I know a lot of people like the Narm Charm of the original but I like that it's going for a more Military Sci-Fi/Science Fantasy angle.

I've kinda given up hope that Geass will ever have a coherent canon; it's whole Alternate History angle is a bit of a mess (albeit an interesting one). Akito actually contradicts the Britannian Dating scheme with the new French Revolutionary Dating scheme, it should be 173 but it's stated as 228, which is assuming the show took place in A.D. 2017, not A.T.B. 2017. I do really like though how Akito really leverages the AH angle, whereas in the original it felt completely superfluous; Britannia could've been Nazis or Zekes or Space Aliens and it wouldn't have made a difference.

The KMF Commemoration League, which holds an exhibition match to celebrate the distinguished service of the Glinda Knights, who stopped the capital bombing terrorist attack. Marrybell is invited there as the guest of honor, but she can only give a smiling face in response to the cruel words spoken by 5th Princess Carine, who also came to watch the match, and Oldrin also has to force down her anger at having her lord insulted. During this, the big match starts with members of the imperial family like 1st Prince Odysseus watching.

The KMF League exhibition match finally starts. The team Fireballs facing the Glinda Knights is led by Sandra, who grew up with Sokia like familiar in the same orphanage. Sandra tries to get Sokia, who has entered the military, to return to her team.

Also, here's the translation of the spoilers provided by gordol, though honestly the Japanese text was really shorthanded and vague this time, so some of this is rough on my part.

After Gino and Anya appear, the legend of the enemy team is brought up and the match begins.
A team is formed with Oldrin, Sokia, Marrybell, Marika and Toto.
Akito's story brings up talk of the Japanese Occupation due to Britannian advancement that occurred a little before Lelouch of the Rebellion. (TL Note: I'm really unsure of this sentence, so much that I'm pretty much guessing to what it means because of its vague and unclear structure.)
Tohdoh-san is relatively the main topic.

1. Designing the head of the Tristan is Gino's hobby. (Many match-use KMFs use excessively ornamental designs, and he was affected by it.)
2. Leonhardt advises that there is a certain meaning in it. (Half with a careless nuance to his words.)
3. The company belonging to Leonhardt's parents was dissolved due to the failure of having a traitor come out from them, but was reorganized as a research and development team under Gino's direct supervision.
4. Sokia and the members of the enemy team are orphans.
5. Odysseus approved in the year 2011 a.t.b. the formation of the "National Rehabilitation Program", which gives amnesty to people from the underworld of society as well.
6. The Orpheus Side story is also brought up. (Referring to the battle between the Byakuen and the Guren Mk-I.)

(TL Note: Doushi or 導師 officially means “officiating monk”, but it’s often used in different contexts and is hard to describe here, so I just left it in the Japanese.)

Sutherland Eye:
An experimental frame given to the Glinda Knights at the same time as the Zetland. It is Sokia’s personal Sutherland whose electronic equipment has been enhanced in order to search for the enemy and improve its command capabilities. By combining its Factsphere that can independently detect sound waves and electromagnetic waves over a wide bandwidth with an advanced calculation and processing system, it can grasp the battlefield situation in three dimensions. It is equipped with the experimental VARIS with the purpose of putting it into mass-production in mind and a Schroeder Steel knife, and it possesses enough armaments to go into battle. However, since the traditional Energy Filler does not possess enough energy for the VARIS by itself, it has a Yggdrasil Drive on its exterior.

Sunrise is really going above and beyond in creating new mecha designs and variations. I am not sure they have ever dedicated this much resources for this long a time on a single franchise that isn't Gundam.

The KMF modelkits are not exactly top sellers, so that's definitely not why. Perhaps they are hedging their bets on a fantasy mecha show now that the Gundam franchise is stuck in a never ending cycle.

As far as I can tell...based on the significant number of different KMF models available as Robot Damashii figures, Code Geass seems to do better in terms of that specific product line instead of the actual model kits, so there's still an incentive to make more mecha as part of the current marketing and merchandising push. Even if there are only a few KMF kits and they won't sell a lot of them, the RD side of the market seems to be doing okay.

Kouzuki Kallen and Urabe Kousetsu of the Black Knights are hiding out within the city of Gujarat in northwest India. The mission given to Orpheus this time is to deliver specialized equipment for the Knightmares they use.


We finally get to learn about what Kallen and the others were doing during the timegap! Can't wait!

Not much new information besides about the Blue Barons, who are basically a Britannian special forces unit that was given the task of wiping out the Black Knight remnants. The model images of the Byakuen and Lancelot Grail fighting is basically a re-enactment of their fight in chapter three of the manga.

Is Code Geass: Renya of Darkness still ongoing? I haven't seen anyone talking about the series for almost a year. I have yet to see it they will make an anime for this series. What are the chances of that happening?

It's still ongoing, but I think most people lost interest in it (or at least talking it), since the scanlated chapters are intermittent. Chances of an anime? Very low, considering how different it is from the regular code geass plot. Many people have discussed the idea in the past, but that's mostly wishful thinking, I think.

I think that when Tanaguchi received the opportunity to write a Code Geass Manga, he should have either had done a prequel that would have centered around Charles and V.V. during the time he becomes Emperior of Britannia; or he could have done Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion manga that would have been in his own words by providing a story that would have provided greater depth to the story and characters in which he could not do with the anime. In other words a Code Geass Manga that would have serve as the perfect version to Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion with CLAMP doing the artwork.

It is a close fight between them, but then the Britannian army intrudes and the hall falls into panic. Orpheus offers Zedd a proposal in order to overcome this situation.

They are protecting a small remote town within the Mongolian Administrative District in the northern Chinese Federation from a militia group. Orpheus accepted this mission, to the point where he refused a high priority mission instead, for a reason. It is because he has a debt that he owes from when he escaped from the Geass Order with Euria in the past.

Also, according to the quote left by Gordol, Cornelia seems to be acting under the alias "Neli" and is in the midst of her search for the Geass Order. (Only natural, then, that she meets up with Orpheus, who ran away from that very place. I actually expected something like this to happen since the beginning, since Orpheus' circumstances and Cornelia's quest after R1 just fit too perfectly.) Hopefully we'll find out more about how she found the Order in China.

-The KMF Ring arc reaches a pause.
- The Sutherland Eye is a unit specialized in searching for the enemy and sharing information, and it cooperates with the Zetland to allow it to perform precision firing in all directions.
-A girl who came out beforehand and danced is a Geass-user. (Her ability seems to be controlling another person's body, while the person retains their consciousness?)
-The girl calls V.V. "Papa". (Considering this, is she connected to the Order?)

From the Geass ability mentioned here, it seems the girl is one of those children that appeared in episode 14 of R2 and used their Geass to control a BK pilot before being killed by Rolo. Hopefully we'll learn a bit more soon.

Screws over peace......I think somebody like the Frost Brothers and Creuset would be a perfect fit because he wants humanity to be destroyed by waging war through manipulation. Post R2, they announced that last year that they were going to do a film project and it's still on hold, theres a possibility that it could be a post R2 and for me, there's no doubt.

Same here, Season 1 focused more on Japan whereas Season 2 focused more on the entire world. I would love for the sequel to have more in depth with Geass especially the movie if it's plot is announced. The movie would be a great way to end Lelouch's story. I also want to see if Ragnarok were to happen just like the Third Impact in Neon Genesis.

There was an illustration novel featuring Charles, Marianne, and Bismarck in a scan from Sneaker Magazine which is a prequel and since I haven't read it, I don't know if V.V. is there or not. But I want more than that, I also want to see Naoto, Kallen's sister during the time he was leading the resistance before Zero's takeover as well as the origin of Geass and the Geass order as well as the Zeon Zum Deikun figure who would start the events of the story. I agree with you on Taniguchi and he would've done the manga and it would be a lot better than the manga we have now.

However, when she goes out to visit a grave, she discovers someone has come before her as a bouquet of beautiful pink campanula has been offered at the grave. When she tilts her head in puzzlement, wondering who would place flowers in front of the grave of the former head of the Zevon family, who died due to a family feud, the masked man Wizard appears before Oldrin.
“Throw away your sword, Oldrin Zevon. You are not someone meant for battle.”
When Wizard tells her that, the words Oldrin says in response are…

Orpheus has finished his mission at the Britannian Army garrison base at Hong Kong within the Chinese Federation. This time, Orpheus has accepted several missions at almost the same time. Having finished one of them, Orpheus heads to investigate a new model bomb in Area 11 next.

Just like that photo story chapter where the Oldrin side characters appeared, it seems that this manga chapter focuses on the Orpheus side. It seems to occur after the third photo story chapter, but there will probably be discrepancies again between the manga and photo story like during the first battle in the Middle East. (Also, does anyone else think of a certain girl with glasses at the mention of a "new model bomb" in Area 11...? The following text also seems to lend credence that this involves the FLEIA bomb.)

Also, here's the translation on the info gordrol provided:

1. The first half corrects part of the last chapter from NTA, and the second half begins with a battle scene on the Orpheus side.
2. Next, Oldrin and Orpheus both seem to be going to Area 11 and then to the Chinese Federation.
3. Request 1: Destroy the Britannian base stationed in Hong Kong (Complete)
4. Request 2: Investigate the new model bomb in Area 11 (Having witnessed a prototype model during the Black Rebellion, Rakshata hurried her investigation into it)
5. Request 3: Assassinate Schneizel who is visiting the Chinese Federation
6. Orpheus seems to infiltrate Ashford Academy.

It looks like the following chapters are finally turning to the aftermath of the Black Rebellion in R1. We'll probably get to see a lot of cameos from familiar characters, and hopefully get answers to questions that have remained about the timegap.

Summary: Orpheus receives an offer from Miss X that takes him to Oahu Island in Hawaii. The mission this time is the assassination of a Britannian soldier that is advocating the implementation of a ground-breaking KMF team. But, In order to acquire information needed for achieving this mission, they have to meet up with an information provider 24 hours before he carries out the plan. Orpheus and Ze infiltrate Oahu Island in Miss X’s stead due to her inability to move, but there, Orpheus is attacked by his sworn enemy, a member of Pluton.

Highlight: This time the Byakuen Flight-Enabled Version appears again for the first time in a while. Being able to fly is certainly an advantage, but if used by Orpheus, a terrorist who commits many assassinations, subversive activities and espionage, might he not use it in unexpected ways? It may be just a piece of equipment. Story-wise, Orpheus also has a rare situation where he disguises himself as a girl, but as expected, wouldn’t Orpheus look just like Oldrin in women’s clothes since they’re twins?

Also, to answer Kurohane's question, the ones responsible for the manga and photo story are different people. Obviously some amount of collaboration is present, but it seems like they each take care of the finer details on their own, which lead to discrepancies popping up. (For instance, in the photo story, Orpheus meets Wizard for the first time during the battle in the Middle East, but in the manga, it is suggested that he already knows him. The way that battle plays out is also vastly different between the two versions, though that can't be helped perhaps, since photo stories usually give only minimal detail in describing scenes, while the manga can visually show much more kinetic and drawn out scenes, especially in battle.) There is also a discrepancy between the photo story and Akito the Exiled when one chapter briefly crossed over with the events in the OVA movies. Because of this, I usually consider the manga as the main canon with the photo story as semi-canon; just consider anything that doesn't directly contradict events in the manga or the rest of canon as true, leaving aside the parts that do as the "author's personal interpretation/preference in story writing".

Gino's would have large boosters and a scythe like weapon for high speed irregular pattern attacks. Waltefled's would use a huge sword but would need reinforced legs and better balance. Just wishful thinking for now

I wish this would happen since OZ was supposed to be CG version of MSV but all we're getting now are lame recolors besides 6 or so original designs...

Well, MSV also has some stuff like that. I'd say it depends on how long Oz lasts. Technically even the "recolors" still qualify as custom Sutherlands and Gloucesters, sort of like several of the custom Zakus that Gundam often uses, though obviously I'd be happier if we did eventually see a larger set of more unique designs along the lines of what you've pointed out. I suppose part of the reason for trying to recycle some of the old designs is to make toy manufacturing easier.

Yup! The girl who looks like Alice being part of the Geass Order is like a possible reference to when Alice was part of the Irregular Unit-Group of Girls who have Geass powers. Ever since the Julius Kingsley regarding the Lelouch vibe has been spreading out lately, it seems as if Sunrise/Clamp is starting to give Nightmare of Nunnally a huge love. Julius with Suzaku=Rolo and Anya.....it's starting to make sense!

Summary: The brand-new model Knightmare “Vercingetorix” is said to being transported to the Euro Britannians over an overland route from Mongolia. The client has requested that Orpheus destroy or capture it. However, the Euro Britannians are apparently transporting the Vercingetorix among one of several transport routes, with dummies included among them. Orpheus is entrusted to attack the route with the highest possibility of being correct, but…

Highlight: Orpheus once again does something unreasonable this time while jumping the Byakuen directly onto the running train. The ones attacking the Byakuen in this chapter are the specialized Sutherlands of the Knights of St. Michael, but it really is unreasonable to fight on top of a train running at 500 km/h. By the way, in the November issue of “Monthly Comp Ace” currently on sale, Orpheus appears wearing the Ashford uniform! It’s a must-see!!

Finally, here's the translation of the info provided by gordol on the manga chapter:

1. This time rush into Area 11.
2. Marrybell doesn't seem to know about the survival of Lelouch and Nunnally?
3. A bedroom scene between Oldrin and Marrybell right from the start.

The mission this time is the assassination of a Britannian soldier that is advocating the implementation of a ground-breaking KMF team. But, In order to acquire information needed for achieving this mission, they have to meet up with an information provider 24 hours before he carries out the plan. Orpheus and Ze infiltrate Oahu Island in Miss X’s stead due to her inability to move, but there, Orpheus is attacked by his sworn enemy, a member of Pluton.

Highlight: This time the Byakuen Flight-Enabled Version appears again for the first time in a while. Being able to fly is certainly an advantage, but if used by Orpheus, a terrorist who commits many assassinations, subversive activities and espionage, might he not use it in unexpected ways? It may be just a piece of equipment. Story-wise, Orpheus also has a rare situation where he disguises himself as a girl, but as expected, wouldn’t Orpheus look just like Oldrin in women’s clothes since they’re twins?

Also, to answer Kurohane's question, the ones responsible for the manga and photo story are different people. Obviously some amount of collaboration is present, but it seems like they each take care of the finer details on their own, which lead to discrepancies popping up. (For instance, in the photo story, Orpheus meets Wizard for the first time during the battle in the Middle East, but in the manga, it is suggested that he already knows him. The way that battle plays out is also vastly different between the two versions, though that can't be helped perhaps, since photo stories usually give only minimal detail in describing scenes, while the manga can visually show much more kinetic and drawn out scenes, especially in battle.) There is also a discrepancy between the photo story and Akito the Exiled when one chapter briefly crossed over with the events in the OVA movies. Because of this, I usually consider the manga as the main canon with the photo story as semi-canon; just consider anything that doesn't directly contradict events in the manga or the rest of canon as true, leaving aside the parts that do as the "author's personal interpretation/preference in story writing".

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I would have liked to have the same people working on both, but if that was the case, we'd have one medium instead of two from the beginning. Plus, it explains the discrepancies.

Highlight: Orpheus once again does something unreasonable this time while jumping the Byakuen directly onto the running train. The ones attacking the Byakuen in this chapter are the specialized Sutherlands of the Knights of St. Michael, but it really is unreasonable to fight on top of a train running at 500 km/h. By the way, in the November issue of “Monthly Comp Ace” currently on sale, Orpheus appears wearing the Ashford uniform! It’s a must-see!!

Well, first off, this Pluton character's name is Vale Riot, and he apparently appears in the recent "Maelstrom of Libra" SNS game. Here's the rundown on the relevant info given in the article. (I'm not translating it word for word this time, just giving the important bits. Most of this article is just rehashes of things that are already known.)

-Same usual description of Pluton and its role as the shadowy Britannian organization run by the Zevon family, who are a low-ranking noble family. Also the usual background on the leader Oiaguro (secretly Wizard) killing sister and taking over the family.
-The size of the organization is uncertain, but Vale is a commander that is given control of a squadron, so it can be surmised that Pluton is of a certain size at least.
-Five members of Pluton, including Oiaguro, hunted down the runaway Orpheus at the request of the Geass Order and killed Euria. Among those five, Cerberus was killed in Chapter 4 and Typhon Radon in chapter 16 by Orpheus. Only three of them remain. (Basically, Oiaguro and two others yet to be revealed.)
-Incidentally, the clothes that Vale is wearing the picture are apparently the uniform for Pluton members.

Here's the translation of the Vercingetorix part, though it's pretty simple stuff.

Vercingetorix Info:
The “V-01S Vercingetorix”, a Knightmare Frame for the use of the head of the Euro Britannian Knights of St. Michael. This frame existed under another name during the time it was under development. It was called the “RZX-2M1 Sagramore”. Sagramore was the name of one of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table, and as such was meant to be the name of a frame for the exclusive use of the Knights of Rounds. The one who instructed its development, the former Knight of Two, Michele Manfredi chose his loyalty to Archduke Verance over his position as a Knight of Rounds given to him by Emperor Charles, and so transferred over to Euro Britannia. The still-in-development Sagramore was also decided to be rolled out with its name changed.

Other Info:

-The Vercingetorix’s name comes from the hero of Gaul.

-Also, the “Eques” mentioned by Ganabati in this chapter refers to the Knightmare with a lower body in the form of a horse that appeared in the “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion” Nintendo DS Game. (So yeah, the DS-only Knightmare was partially the basis for the Vercingetorix.)

-The heads of the Four Great Knight Orders have the same status and authority as the Knights of Rounds, and are allowed to use the same kind of G-1 bases used only by the Royal Family and Area Viceroys.

-For that reason, the Byakuen can't use it's artillery weapons and the Gekka Alonso can't use it's electromagnetic pulse, so it becomes a close combat battle with blade against lance.
-Despite the situation taking a sudden turn when Carine coming out to plead to Dasko as he ends up driven into a corner, Kanon sees a chance and orders Dasko to attack together with the KMF squad he has prepared.
-Dasko is furious at having his duel interfered with like this.
-Orpheus uses his firearms to make the Sakuradite particles explode, eradicating the KMF squad, and uses the Sakuradite negation of his Gefjun Breaker to protect himself as well as Dasko and Carine.
-The event can be summed up with a strange sense of rivalry exceeding enmity budding between Orpheus and Dasko.
-For the second photo novel volume, planned for release in spring, a normal edition and a special edition with a CD drama attached will be released.

Here's the translation of the Oz manga spoilers provided by gordol:

-For the time being, it seems there no friction or fighting scene has occured between Marrybell and Oldrin.
-After what happened, it seems that Marrybell is overlapping Oldrin and Orpheus.
-Guinevere gives Calares a sermon over how Marrybell was attacked.
-Calares (at least at this point in time?) is being considerate of Clovis and Euphy, and as such is not enacting forceful policies.
-Due to the recent incident, Marrybell is in the anti-Japanese camp. (And also favors hard-line policies in Area 11 as well)
-Orpheus infiltrates into the same school festival that the Glinda Knights are participating in. (The underground surveillance facility has also been completed by this point)
-However, Orpheus' objective (Nina and her bomb) are already in Britannia and he can't get any clues on them.
-Orpheus is also acquainted with Rolo. (Currently, Rolo's location is unknown, but it seems he is close by on a separate mission, according to Clara.)
-Toto is also a Geass-user. (The specifics about her ability is unknown, but it's an ability said to be the natural enemy to Clara's type that uses sight.)
-Remnants of the Black Knights attack the school. (But what they're doing is robbery.)
-It has just been decided to take on hard-line policies in Area 11, so there is no option of negotiation in the government office.

At the end, it also mentions how Guinevere does not seem to hate the militaristic Cornelia and Marrybell, but she does complain about them in dissatisfaction.

Highlight: Dasko la Clermont has reappeared for the first time since he was injured in chapter 6! The serious Knightmare battle here for the first time in a while is one of the highlights of this chapter. And the Byakuen’s Gefjun Breakers is used in an unexpected manner at the climax of it! Please confirm this scene’s CG by all means in the magazine.

It's too bad that Tanigushi never used that opportunity to do a prequel that featured Charles and V.V. around the time he became Emperor of Britannia. It might have showcased as to how V.V. and Charles met C.C. as well as to the origins of their parents. Instead, we get a story that is completely removed from the anime. In contrast, Code Geass Oz is directly tied to the anime. Why can't the Code Geass manga follow that example? I feel that Code Geass Oz has a very strong chance of becoming an anime TV series in the near future.

Highlight: This chapter is linked to the recent chapters in the “Side: Oldrin” in “Comp Ace”. This chapter is set before the battle against Margrave Albert Bosh in the Oldrin chapter in the October 2013 issue of Comp Ace. The special effect cut has also reproduced from the comics version. Photo Story:
-The story this time is linked to the current story arc on the Oldrin Side (from Orpheus' perspective)
-Inwardly, Orpheus criticizes the naiveness of the Glinda Knights' crisis response skills.
-The one who shot Clara last chapter was Orpheus after having disguised himself as Oldrin.
-Clara's Geass is the ability to "make another person's body obey her commands regardless of their will by gazing at the person within her sight and calling out their name".
-The reason her Geass didn't work on Orpheus while he was disguised as Oldrin was because Clara recognized him as Oldrin.
-It seems that Clara actually hates Orpheus, and at the very end whispers "I hate you..." before dying.

Here are some differences in the photo story version compared to the events shown in the manga:
-The way Clara refers to Orpheus is different (In the manga she calls him "Onii-chan", but here she calls him "Onii-sama".)
-Clara's tone and way of speaking are different.
-The time and place where Orpheus learns from Clara that Nina isn't here is different.
-In the manga, Orpheus was at first elegantly drinking tea and watching the attack by the Black Knights on the monitor within the underground facility beneath Ashford, but in the photo story he was attacked by Clara without any time for tea and later escaped using the confusion brought on by robbery by the Black Knights.

Manga:
-Clara dies.
-It seems Clara had her brain modified by the Order. (Her beret was a present from Orpheus in order to hide it.)
-She tries to use her Geass in order to take Orpheus with her, but fails and ends up finished off by Orpheus.
-Having witnessed this scene, Oldrin misunderstands that Orpheus is a terrorist that killed an unresisting civilian.
-Due to this incident, the oppression within Area 11 becomes stronger.
-Charles personally alters the memories of Milly and the others with his Geass.
-The Glinda Knights head to the Chinese Federation next. (Meanwhile, both Oldrin and Marrybell are absorbed in their thoughts.)

Orpheus' relationship with Clara is depicted differently in the photo story...
She didn't curse him on her deathbed and didn't seem to hate Orpheus.

And there you go. Once again, the manga and photo story seem to be be following the same story with slightly different depictions. ・オデュッセウスは中華連邦の国民の置かれている状況を知り、内政干渉してでも打開したい
・幼い頃に見たオルフェウスの墓の事をオルドリンは忘れている
・星刻派の反ブリタニア勢力が街中でブリタニア軍と交戦（国民の犠牲者多数、星刻はエリア11に遣わされて 不在）
・今回ロボアクション多め（ゼットランドもグレイルと連動するギミックが）
・「民あっての上流階級」と考え民を守りたいオルドリンと「皇族あっての民」と考え護衛を命じるマリーベル で対立
・結果、オルドリンはマリーベルに逆らってグレイルで街を守る
・それに平静さを保ちつつも苛立ちを覚えるマリーベルにシュナイゼルが「部下の意見に耳を傾ける事も指揮官 の資質だよ」と忠告
・天子が可愛かった…が、今のスレの雰囲気見てると、スレ住人が天子見たら殺意抱くだろうなぁ …

・白炎水中戦仕様（右腕を通常の腕に換装しランチャー装備）VSポートマン（プルートーン仕様 ）
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、オルドリンはデスクワークが駄目
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、オルドリンの方がマリーベルに依存していて二人の仲にズレが生じ て来ている
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、マリーベルはオルフェウスに取られるんじゃないか？

Three interesting points from the above:

1 - In the manga, Oldrin and Marrybell have a fight due differences in their ideologies... considering their usual relationship, this development feels quite refreshing for me.

2 - In the interview between Hamasaki Hana and Uchida Maaya (respectively, the seiyuu of Oldrin and Marrybell in the voice drama), the two reveal that it is Oldrin who is dependent of Marrybell and this is sort of distorting their relationship.

3 - They also believe that Marrybell might be "stolen" by Orpheus.

-The Tianzi is cute... but, when you see the current cracked atmosphere, the ones in that crack/gulf will probably feel murderous intent when looking at the Tianzi...

Honestly, I believe at least a very short reference to the "phantom" episode 26 script was translated way back in 2008. It should be somewhere around this forum, in fact.

So I'd say a few of us already knew that in the original plans for the second season Lelouch was initially supposed to defeat Suzaku and then lose to the Emperor.

I guess what's nice is to finally have access to a script with the concrete details, rather just a reference to them, but the concept doesn't really surprise me at this point.

A friend of mine was confused about the [I]crucified[I] thing going on. Anyways, if he's being imprisoned or confined, why in Ashford Academy? I mean they could keep him on a prison or in the Geass Order so that he won't interfere with Charles' and V.V's plan, right?

Who knows, we may have to wait for even more details to be made available.

But to speculate a bit...presumably this ties into the fact that Charles doesn't really hate Lelouch and just wants to mess around with him, including but not limited to using Lelouch as bait for C.C. like he did in the actual R2 storyline. As long as he doesn't stop the Ragnarok Connection, at least. If that is right, then maybe the Emperor isn't too interested in putting him in a location where any attempt to escape would really be impossible and might more or less count on Lelouch being freed.

・一方のオルドリンはオルフェウスが兄である事を知らない
・ウィザードは兄妹間の争いを止める為アグラヴェインを近接戦闘形態に変形させる
・そこにV.V.が黄昏の間にある精神機械を作動させてオルフェウス、オルドリン、ウィザードを遺跡に転送 させる
・V.V.の望むものは悲劇と破滅そのもので、事態を加速・悪化させるために兄妹間の争いに乱 入した
・生身で殺し合いを始めるオルフェウスとオルドリンだが、ウィザードがそれを食い止める
・しかし、マスクが外れ両者に正体がオイアグロとバレる
・更にV.V.が追い打ちをかけるように両者にネタバレしまくる（ここでオルドリンはオルフェウスが兄であ る事を知る）
・真実を知らせまいとトトがグロースターに乗って乱入するも、V.V.に射殺される
・死ぬ間際にオルフェウスとオルドリンに「お二人に安らかな忘却を…」とギアスをかけるトト
・崩壊する遺跡からマリーベルとオイアグロにそれぞれ助け出されるオルフェウスとオルドリン
・オルフェウスは、マリーベルの手によって救い出された。あくまでも、オルドリンとして。

トトのギアスの詳細はハッキリしないけど、最後の一文やクララが絶対勝てないと評していた事を 考えると、

あとこっちの方がマリーベルが毅然としたキャラになってた（オルフェウスが敵でも公私を混同し ない）他、

so have the writers of the akito OVAs mentioned anything beyond after they're done with the project? it seems even with the akito OVAs ending in the next 2 to 3 years there will be no solid conclusion to the battle of the E.U. vs Britannia. now why do i say this when the akito OVAs have not even ended yet? R2 episode 5 Ohgi says the E.U. is still on the losing front against Price Schneizel. R2 episode 2 has Gino saying dealing with Zero is as important as their war with the E.U.

this would heavily imply the war has not ended between R1 and R2 for E.U. vs Britannia. there can be more content written alongside the events of R2 with the E.U. battles depending on how the akito OVA project ends.

it's something i've been wondering about after skimming through R2 to see if they mention the E.U. at all. my memory has been pretty much shot with any politics in R1 and R2.

If i remember right they don't mention the eu much in r2, just that suzaku beats them badley in france, schneizel get's some of the countries to surrender to britannia, some break away to be part of the UFN.

By the finale Lelouch has got what's left of it to surrender to him.

That's how i remember the eu being protrayed in r2. Which was very little and makes you wonder if they got any plot stuff etc culled due to the time slot reschedule and the rushed pacing of r2. Doubt it sicne the writer's have never mentioned any plans they had in mind for the EU.

Considering how long they have been doing akito, since it was suppose to come out an dbe done a few year's ago. I doubt they will do anything else with it once it is done. But you never know.

Interesting new's above. I have heard on code geass wiki forum that apprantley the reason for OZ's new uniform above is becuase he is now part of the glinda knights, since Marybell picked him up at the end of the last manga chapter, and oldrin got picked up by the wizard.

Now the source of this is unconfirmed, but it would raise interesting spectation of how oz 02 will go down. Sicne it seems to be happening in the r2 timeline of events.

-Of the recurring characters Dusko deserves to get some character lineart. Could be cool to see his loyalty after his princess is Geass'd and then killed in the Pendragon attack.

You know what would make this a whole lot easier on us? If they animated Oz like they did Lelouch of the Rebellion. Anyway, as for this new update regarding O2, I am very interested in that knightmare and what it could be. Obviously from the silhouette it's related to the Lancelot in some way. However, as I looked at it's shape I got more and more curious so I did some work on the pictures by increasing the saturation and brightness to get a clearer look. Now it looks blue and it would only make sense if it were blue since Oz's Byakuen is white and blue and it could pay homage to the Lancelot Club from Lost Colors.

When she was a child, Oldrin learned about Orpheus after discovering a grave with his name near the Zevon's family estate. The whole reason why Toto was send to Oldrin's side was to erase the memories concerning that event and then surveil her so that she would never find out the truth about her brother again.

It's heavily implied V.V killed in a fire Merrybell's mom and sister whose name was Yuria. Around the same time Orpheus was sold to the Geass Order. Yuria and Euria are way too similar to be just a coincidence, it's anime afterall. And Oiaguro seems to much of a nice guy to kill her, besides hating V.V. shenanigans.

This is how young Euria was depicted in the manga. Also remember Orpheus ignored Miss X as a woman and treated her rudely.

Anyway, other than Eternal Dreamer, is there anyone else out there, not necessarily just on this forum, that has shown any interest in translating the Oz series? Like the manga, for instance. Eternal Dreamer has only translated the photo novel, but there are no translated manga chapters out there.

I tried that before. I sucked. No good at remembering and reading the different writings and such with Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana.

Is it just called Amanecer or Akatsuki Amanecer?

Just Amanecer, since it means dawn in Spanish
