Both Oilers and Mavericks eked out game 4 wins, though I'm not sure I'd say their series are competitive just yet.

Welp...both the Celtics and Panthers are on championship point after just 3 games...

Between them, the Chiefs going back to back and effing Collingwood being gifted the AFL premiership last year with scripted close win after scripted close win...what a dark time. If it wasn't for the Rangers winning the World Series last year or Australia winning the one day world cup in cricket after Maxwell and Head pulled off miracles, there would be nothing worth cherishing in the last year.

Okay, the anime train is back on track. Got through Night Is Short, Walk On Girl. Now that was fun. That is the kind of art and abstract that eventually melds into a coherent story that I dig.

Flyers made the Finals in 1997 with a young Eric Lindross running into a Red Wings dynasty and in 2010 but right into a Blackhawks dynasty. Edmonton's only success after their dynasty was one Finsls in the mid 2000s then sucking so bad they got three #1 picks in a row and forced the lottery system. Panthers sucked since their one Finals in 1996 until last year. But..they pretty much take the tack of they can't call everything and there is no puck.

Justin Jefferson just signed a 5 year extension with the Vikings.

I'm not really sure who to root for between Panthers and Oilers. I guess I'll say Edmonton for now... when I was a kid the Oilers dynasty (with Wayne Gretzky) beat the Flyers in 7 though I can't really say I remember it. They haven't really been relevant since then, and Canada as a country hasn't won the cup in decades either.

Panthers-Oilers it is. The fact Edmonton won Game 6 off of just 10 shots on goal was crazy. Someone's cup drought is ending.

I got gifted Baldur's Gate 3 by a friend. Guess that is accelerated up the priority order.

The manga of Unnamed Memories seemed okay from the short bit I read. I am well aware the adaptation is worthy of a top 10 worst adaptations ever list. And you're not the only person who said Jellyfish is a must this season. I cleared a bunch of stuff in Hades 2 and only have a short list left to do until a major content patch hits. Good thing because my hands were smarting from 2am cold after last night. Can be chill about the rest because it will take at least the rest of the year for the remaining major content to hit. So I am back on anime this month.

NBA Finals, definitely preferring the Mavericks. For the anti-Celtics but moreso for Luka Doncic shutting all the media up that doesn't give him any dues. Kyrie Irving's redemption arc is also intriguing. But moreso Cuban let the GM go for the support that made sense rather than a superteam. NHL, I want Florida out ASAP as a Leafs fan. As stated before, whoever wins the West is who I'm with. The Stars are an insanely deep team that just play hard and excel at the rush while the Oilers have two generational talents, a wild offense and an improved defense and they could end Canada's cup drought.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the NBA Finals but I'll feel better about it if Boston loses. I have no real opinion of the NHL, maybe Florida would be nice just cause. The only news I've heard about Butker recently though is that he might get benched for the new kickoff system. It remains to be seen how good the new system works out...

Crunchyroll packaging has definitely fallen off, though its not Amazon bad just yet. Its still decent but nowhere near RightStuf. At least they're fast and loose with partial shipments. I splurged on some BDs of MahoAko from Amazon Japan and they're kinda killing me with partial shipments, though. Not sure why but part of my order is stalled.

Not sure what your interest in Unnamed Memories is but it is not good at all. Its a weird season but Jellyfish, Mysterious Disappearances, and Shuu Shuu(matsu) Train are really propping the season up. Oh and Lv2, Fenris is a gem.

Getting close to doing as much content as can be done in current patch of early access of Hades 2. Good thing because rain returned for the first time in 2 months and the temporarily warmer weather officially ends the moment June 1 starts. Saw a Japanese movie called Monster a couple of nights ago (same director as Shoplifters) and...I'm not ever going to forget that film...damn, that director is good...

And Goodell pretty much used Butker as an example of diversity. That somehow underwhelmed even the low bar I set in expectations. Hopefully someone stops the 3-peat...

Cleared Fear 32 in Hades 2 tonight. Thankfully a week of warmer weather during the day presently, so had the body state to get that done. I think once temperatures go down more in June, I'll be way more in the mood for anime once I feel I have to get under the covers the moment the sun has set.
