Well, the Eagles survived some resistance from the Texans and I didn't hear of any major injury. As for the Phillies, those damn Astros are on series point.

Did actually get back on anime a bit tonight. Rewatched the Kaoru arc of Amagami SS. For how cringe the first OP was and parts of a couple of arcs, most of that series was darn good. When romantic comedies still clicked with me. Kaoru really was an awesome tomboy. Ai was a stellar kouhai. Rihoko was a heart-warming ditz.
Phillies are level with them damn Astros heading back to Houston. Guess they'll have to get one again in Houston to pull it off.
And the Leafs utilised the game against the Flyers to get a bit of reprieve. The double-header against Boston and Carolina is...ominous. At least Tavares is having a major resurgence. That's been one of the few highlights so far.
Davis is a fair loss. But in all honesty, the Eagles have really avoided major injuries relative to the rest of the league. My Cardinals mate is lamenting losing their three best O-line and their starting RB. And you got a cheap price for Quinn's services in the deadline trade period. Although I note you have the short week game in 10 hours. Even if it's against the Texans, things get more dangerous on the short week, so here's hoping it doesn't hit your team.

I just kinda hope the Eagles can avoid injury over this long stretch of mediocrity. We lost Davis but its just a high ankle sprain, definitely could have been worse.
I don't really follow NHL until the playoffs, if that. I didn't expect to be following the MLB postseason but here I am unable to walk away from the TV in case I miss another 2 run HR while in the toilet. Cautiously optimistic the Phillies can pull it off but Astros can be explosive if they decide to wake up so who knows. Excited for the World Cup too though I'm not sure what Spain's chances are. They're in groups with Germany which should be an interesting start.
Its a really weird anime season; for some reason I'm actually watching Gundam and Chainsaw Man. There's very little that I'm really into this season either, aside from maybe the villainess (Last Boss) series. Just a bunch of stuff I'm watching until I get bored of.

Well, grats on staying undefeated and sending the yinzers into even more misery.
I seriously have no idea what the actual hell happened in the 4th quarter of Panthers-Falcons. And now the Falcons lead the NFC South. Seattle finally inflicted a loss on the Giants and gave you some divisional breathing room. Minnesota are still right on your heels after surviving a valiant Arizona. CMC trade looks like it will be a boon for the 49ers. Buffalo is still on course. Chaos still reigns for the greater part.
Phillies took a game in Houston so they're in with a shot. Meanwhile...the Leafs are on the verge of imploding after just 10 games. Honestly expecting a major trade to happen any day now after losing to all the bottom teams, the tantrums, lack of effort.
Cleared the 4 main scenarios in Frostpunk. Now playing through The Ruined King.
And...hoping I can finally get in an anime mood in November. Good weather returns in one week. League of Legends worlds final in 5 days (all Korean final, yay!). I weeded my entire front garden as well as my mum's on the weekend and filled 1.5 green bins worth with the damn weeds (it's been very wet this winter/spring). May also be on course to not be mentally drained after work. So anime vibes may finally be possible. That said I did read manga yesterday. The Tunnel to Summer: The Exit of Goodbyes v1, Whisper me a Love Song v1, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou v1. Mega manga order finally reached me after 6 months of delays shipping.

Well...your state's other team is on fire (which you are probably enjoying), the Phillies made the World Series (Please stop the Astros...). There's hardly a team outside of your division above .500 in your conference.

I am patient. I still refuse to get Civ 6 until it's below 30 for the entire package. The 1.5 years offer of 43 does not entice me.
I have plenty of things to play. Been going through Frostpunk for a bit over a week now. Loving its survival based take on RTS rather than being conquering and the very different moral/paths to survival that lie within each scenario. For the record, I only got the base version, which has plenty though. The DLC is overpriced for offering only 1 scenario each. 4 scenarios and most of endless mode for $11 AUS last Christmas sale was a bargain.

70% off is going to take a long time I think though you never know. I'll probably get it at 50% off but I guess there's always PC Gamepass if you don't mind effectively renting it.

The pessimist in me did 70 as 'I hope they do' and 100 in 'the greedy them will.'
It's $100 AUS...FOR A GAME OUT FOR 4 YEARS...
I am waiting until it hits $30 and I don't care how long it takes...

So yeah P5R is full price with no discount whatsoever - $59.99 USD. Maybe in 2023.

We've got a bye next week and a mushy schedule going forward but you can't take things for granted in the NFL either. I'm not sure what to expect from Tampa... a lot of teams expected to be good are at 3-3. I'm not a huge baseball fan (162 games is too damn many) but postseason baseball can be a lot of fun, especially when your team is in the mix. Sort of conflicted though because I lived in both NLCS cities and have good memories in both stadiums.
I finally picked up Stray (the game) since it was on sale last week though I only put a couple hours into it so far. I'm skipping P5R but I do have the new Star Ocean preordered so I'm hoping it isn't abysmal. Waiting to hear how Tales from the Borderlands is but otherwise I'm just reading some shitty LN/WN until SO6 comes out next week. Anime wise there's really nothing this fall season that's particularly grabbed me... there's a lot of hype but I kinda hate shounen battle crap so that leaves me with not a lot of high profile stuff (like Chainsawman or whatever) to watch. Akiba Maid War is pretty interesting, and I'll probably follow Love Flops, the Last Boss villainess isekai, and maybe the Bibliophile shoujo. Oh and Urusei Yatsura remake. I kinda hate Gundam political melodrama and shit but the new Gundam is supposed to be (somewhat) different so I might keep up with it. Its reasonably interesting so far.
