It's getting more common in sport in general. Broadcasts are heavily blacked out even in the home team's state for all of the four big leagues. Streaming by those leagues is outdone by pirate streams with ease, especially the NHL. NBA is a slave to the Chinese Communist Party, MLB is anti-non star to the extreme and full of muppet organisations, NFL is in concussion and behaviour denial, NHL is denial central because Betman makes even Goodell look competent.

Not much better here. Cricket used to be THE sport in Australia. But after the ball tampering scandal with the national team, our players utterly breaking rona rules to play in the India league for 2 years, almost all cricket being on pay TV now - there's still the 'you're not Aussie if you don't watch cricket' thing but that's nowhere near as strong. When nearly every player in national and state teams are a rich kid, it's no longer a sport the working or middle classes bother with much now.

AFL is back in a month. Yeah, hard to be excited by it now. 1997 and 1998 may have to do for life.

In a nutshell, sport and dodginess go hand in hand and controls the proles, just like AAA gaming warps the youth, the same type of show dominates anime and manga.

What's consistent is that the NFL can't seem to find a balance especially inside of 2:00. Its either ticky tack calls that decide the outcome or egregious penalties ignored in the spirit of "letting them play". They want it both ways. I guess it is what it is but its not a league I care to assist with revenue in any way in the foreseeable future.

Well, let's hope the Eagles are MJF in that regard because he is the best thing in AEW and it isn't even close. And he is what the fans what. The vids I saw from ThatsGoodSports and Tom Grossi definitely side with you. Was it holding? Yes, but...was it ever a catchable ball? I'm sort of shocked by how much happened this NBA trade deadline, I was expecting things to be pretty subdued aside from maybe a Westbrook trade. Kyrie is nuts though and will find someway to screw the Mavs over but they haven't been relevant since Dirk so I guess they needed to take the chance. I haven't paid any real attention to the NHL this year at all.

I only watched a few highlights of the Pro Bowl but they had to do something with it. I always kinda thought they should have stuck with Hawaii since February is winter for us in the northern hemisphere. I've been obsessed with Super Bowl coverage as well as 49ers players who can't seem to stop being salty over the fact they're not in it. The bulletin board material is fierce.
