Yeah, I see significant similarities between Sayaka and Kotetsu (Tiger).
The one thing about Madoka Magica that makes me feel a bit sad even to this day is how Sayaka's personal story turned out. The last thing I want to see in Tiger and Bunny is for Kotetsu to endure an end even close to that sad.
