Welp...I think I know exactly how you feel after Game 3 of Leafs-Bruins. Marchand doing one of the most blatant trips ever on Bertuzzi that led to a Bruins goal seconds later. To top it off, NHL media were saying that elite players like Marchand will have and should have calls go in their favour...brilliant...For the record, I'm more ticked off at the Leafs. 1/11 on the power play in Games 1-3. The Bruins are 5/10. Marchand gets away with scumbag incidents on a regular basis like Cousins and Tkachuk do on the Panthers, but ultimately the Leafs are lacking at an aspect of their game they were good at during the regular season. The call had a huge effect on the game, but if you go 0/5 on the power play, you probably shouldn't win. To top it off, the Stars lost Game 2 to the Golden Knights and the Oilers lost Game 2 to the Kings. Given they were the three teams I'm invested in, it stung.

And the NFL draft is mere hours away. Time to see who makes the right picks, the steals, the setbacks.

It was a very weird no call on that inbound to Maxey in the final 30 secs, but I do question why the 76ers didn't take a timeout to get to mid court and why they allowed Havenstein to rebound so easily and get it back to Divincenzo for another 3. But yeah, Maxey was fouled by at least one Knick.

Hey, I'd love to see some gyarus in yuri but have never seen one in that genre.

Sixers got kind of robbed last night, both by the Knicks and the refs. I might be done with the NBA postseason sooner than expected. I'm honestly wondering if the Sixers should get rid of Embiid... as much of a generational talent as he is -- he just can't stay healthy. Otherwise the NFL Draft is in a couple of days and I'm supposed to go to a Phillies game in person next month so that should be fun.

I really liked Edgerunners but only as a solid 8 or so. And I'm a bit confused -- did you read the source for Apothecary Diaries? I got the impression you'd finished it. I enjoyed that as well but it was a only a solid 7 to me. Last season I was really invested in Bokuyaba and Mahoako because I was a long time manga reader for both series but this season I'm not really invested in much. I'm kind of enjoying the Spice and Wolf reboot; I couldn't get into the original so I'll see if I stick with it. Still working out what to watch and what to drop... I thought I'd like Unnamed Memory but its kind of boring so far.

I'm not sure I'm going to pay much attention to the NHL playoffs but both NHL and NBA playoffs go on for fucking ever, especially if game 7's get involved. So far neither the Sixers or the Thunder look all that good and they're the only teams I really care about. As for the Coyotes I'll kinda miss the Kachina logo but everything else about that franchise was a disaster.

Are you watching Whisper Me a Love Song this season at least? I think I remember you being a fan of the manga. The manga didn't do much for me but the anime is pretty enjoyable so far... maybe I'm just not into the genki girl X brooding girl pairing. Gyaru X plainy is more my speed.

All the home teams won again in both today. If you didn't see Avs-Jets highlights, I'd recommend it. That game made even Mark Messier wonder what on earth he just saw - in a mainly good way. Canucks suddenly woke up in the 3rd and in 12 seconds, went from being behind to in the lead. And I guess I will watch Game 2 of Leafs-Bruins tomorrow and hope that something better comes to pass.

All the home teams won Game 1s in the NBA and NHL. Leafs got smashed, Bruins weren't even near their best despite the margin. Nylander, after playing all 82 games, missed Game 1. But that was hardly the main issue. Trying to hit at the wrong time, low slot offence being stifled, blue line shots being blocked with ease. Sole goal came from one of the few clean passages and somehow came from the 4th line. The star players got utterly neutralised. Game 2 has to be way better or a sweep is very much on the cards. Between two playoffs and the NFL draft in a few days, plenty to keep tabs on before the months of offseasons and waiting for MLB to reach their playoffs begin.

76ers beat Heat by a point, seried with the Knicks awaits.
