Can't say the Christmas spirit's particularly strong with me, but there's some things I'm looking forward to. Triple and his Christmas fanfic certainly helps to put me in the mood some. You have nice plans for Christmas yourself?
Hmm, Fall 2014 anime.
Amagi Brilliant Park: Colorful characters, love the park's sense of history and the camaraderie between everyone, Tsuchida Kanae my waifu, ended up being a really fun show
Fate Stay Night 2014: Not a huge Fate fan, but I enjoy the franchise in all its incarnations. It has a great cinematic feel to it.
Grisaia no Kajitsu: Has its good points but is a pretty fail adaptation, should've been two cour.
In Search of the Lost Future: Pleasant if ordinary slice-of-life that becomes a genuinely good story once Kaori dies and half-crazy Sou starts trying to revive her. I won't judge it too much either way since VNs are often so much better than their adapted forms.
Log Horizon II: Good show.
Sailor Moon Crystal: I loved '90s Sailor Moon whenever I watched through it in 2006 as much as it's possible for me to love anything, but I thought this version was pretty boring. Dropped it a few weeks ago.
selector spread WIXOSS: The complete absence of kowai Ruuko is a disappointment, but it was a good season. Mayu's a pretty fascinating villain, I thought.
Shigatsu wa kimi no Uso: Kousei's a very good character, discussion thread's one of the best on AnimeSuki.
Sora no Method: Love the characters, the art style, can relate to the 2007 nostalgia that permeates the show since 2007 was a good year for me too. Probably a top 20 all-time favorite.
Sword Art Online II: Gun Gale Online was okay, but I enjoyed the Autumn 2014 second half a lot more. The hotblooded, teamwork-driven Calibur arc was pure fun, and Mother's Rosario was great; the last episode is probably one of the very best anime episodes of the year.
