It's out! Well, let's see what we got... well, then. Did somebody order "all the series" on the menu? Seems like a lot at least interesting material this time around.
Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita : Alright, starting out with an isekai. What's the trick premise this time around? Oh, reincarnated as a talking sword. D&D much? Wielded by a catgirl? Well, this piques my interest.
Three episodes, because talking swords are very much part of the fantasy trope circus.
Noumin Kanren no Skill Bakka Agetetara Naze ka Tsuyoku Natta : Okay, super powered farmer. Is he wearing a blue and red spandex suit? ^^ One episode.
Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau : Oh, seems now the "I was kicked out of the heroes party and am living my best life suddenly" kind of show is becoming a genre. Well, two episodes, the last one was pretty good.
Akuyaku Reijou nano de Last Boss o Katte Mimashita : Also another "transformed into the villainess" anime? Well, Bakarina also was a very nice show (the first season at least), so this also gets two episodes.
Spy x Family (2022) : The first automatic pick-up. The first season was fantastic.
Koukyuu no Karasu : Hum, Chinese emperor drama? I mean, okay? One episode to see if it might be interesting.
Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo : Hrm. Gundam series never have appealed to me. But with the absolute dearth of other serious mecha shows and this being a new take on the whole Gundam thing (i.e. no connection to the official continuity), I think it's worth checking out. Three episodes.
Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei : Slice of life country fantasy? Could well be terminally boring, but I think it's worth checking out the first episode at least. So, one episode.
Shinobi no Ittoki : Ninja action drama! You had me sold on "ninja", to be fair. Three episodes.
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! : Hrm, isekai comedy. Most often it hasn't worked for me, but maybe this will. One episode.
Futoku no Guild : Yeaaaah, okay. This will probably be incredibly terrible. Still. One episode to check it out, but geeze.
Mushikaburi Hime : Hm, bookworm otome game. I don't think I'll really go for it, since those kind of shows really need a proactive protagonist to make them interesting to me, but at least one episode to check it out.
Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana – The Teardrop Crystal : Video game anime. These either tend to be terrible. Or terrific. Not much space between the two extremes. Let's hope this one falls into the latter category. One episode.
Okay, this was actually shorter than I expected. Really many "one episode, because the concept seems only marginally interesting" shows. And, yeah, I got absolutely zero interest in Chainsaw Man.
What's interesting to you guys?
