Chaos Bringer is a primordial being - mirrored by
Primus, Lord of Light and creator of the Cybertronian people.
(If you think of Zoroastrianism, Primus is equivalent to Ahura Mazda, while Unicron would echo Angra Mainyu.)
Interestingly, in the UK comics, the 'astral form' of Primus looked a lot like Rodimus Prime...
