On the topic of Fringe... I don't know if it's the influence from Toaru, but rather than espers the more 'out there' concepts are the mutations monsters.

Telepath limits it to Banri and a certain canon side character (dang how did I forget her name?!). Oh wait, RSPK is a kind of network...

Question, just to be sure, aside from 'Keroko', are there any other OCs who are 'rivals' (self-proclaim or otherwise) with Misaka?

Kha, if i've said it once to you already, i've said it a thousand times. RSPK is NOT a network, its berserk ability. The effects of Banri's synch with haruue is just one of the ways an RSPK can happen. Do i need to sticky it on a post-it for you?

@Chaos: Not that I know of. For me, the closest is Kataru's promise to become Level 5 with her. Though it is more of a sign of friendship rather than actual rivalry.

Keroko, before you go full steam ahead with your current plans, I've finally gotten some answers for your Valkyries.



There are lots of theories about what a Valkyrie is and how to become one. One of the theories say that a Valkyrie is not a God, angel, fairy or some other divine existence. She's just a normal human girl who wishes to fight more than anything. Once Odin grants her this wish and gives her power, she becomes a Valkyrie.

Similar to Saints and angels, Valkyries act as a bridge between man and God, and so there are many kinds of magic related to Valkyries. This includes ways of sending warriors' souls to Valhalla, ways of recreating weapons that Valkyries used and even ways of "creating" a Valkyrie without the help of Gods.

Of course, there are limitations with "artificial" Valkyries. But occasionally, there are people born with the qualities of a Valkyrie and are much stronger than the artificial ones.

So in a way, a Valkyrie is like the Norse counterpart of a Saint.

Oh, in the Kanzaki SS there have been mentions of 'Elves' in this world, the only thing special I can gather is that that natural elves have the ability to cause life to evolve, but at a slow rate. What this means is the if you have a 'certain weakness', being around Elves over time would allow you to 'evolve' so that you could lose that weakness.

Take them as pure crack. Two German-focused super-organizations.

None of them exist anymore because there's no way to fit them in without any significant canon-bashing.

Those Who Hunt Elves suddenly have a nasty meaning.

That said, need lots more info on the pointy-eared woodlanders. Now its just speculation.
