Once you've seen the movie, you'll know that Strange did nothing regarding their respiratory. All the human characters can breathe just fine on a dead planet like they're on Hawaii. That's what I call convenience.

And that's what I call convenience. Does that bother me much? No, but it's still a plot convenience nonetheless. At least
Star Wars &
Star Trek have pre-established universe where the intelligent aliens accepted English as a somewhat universal language; or they often use translators; or each individual speaks their own language in conversations and all parties just understand each other (like Greedo, Han & Chewie). And
Macross DYRL has the Zentradi speaks differently, at least. In MCU, we jumped from a realistic Earth in
Iron-Man where people speaks different languages to a complete fantasy where a vast and various species of aliens literally speak American English in which their fluency beat even the Earthlings. It's not like in Tom Cruise's
Valkyrie where the German characters speak English in place of German language. In
Guardians &
AIW, the aliens literally speak American English. I just think that aspect is kind of a lazy world-building. People often diss Cameron's
Avatar movie, but if nothing else, he knows how to depict alien culture (complete with well-thought-out alien language). Heck, even the robots in the first
Bayformers movie have their own language and letters. When
Bayformers' world-building outdid yours, you know you've done something wrong, MCU.
Note: I comment a lot about these trivial things mainly because I can't discuss the larger plot with people here who haven't seen the movie
